1121  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KNCMiner Saturn 320 GH/s - Immediate Shipping on: January 15, 2014, 01:37:37 PM
I confirm that I bought the KnC Saturn in hand from degosa. He was very nice and friendly, I'm pretty sure he's a trustworthy person to deal with, should he make any futures sales.

Yes, I did the long trip by car, and it cost me probably more than DHL Express, but I am in control of the whole buying process. Besides the shipping cost, I saved about $500 with a trick that I can't explain here (obvious is obvious for those who read between the lines).

Italy is a nice country to travel by car. The Tutor speed control system is amazing but strangely, the average speed on the left lane stays quite high Cheesy Very nice sights and food, too bad I was too sleep deprived to enjoy it. Maybe next time...

So the deal went smoothly and I'm happy hashing with the unit. End of this story.

So many prominent members of this forum have gone missing.

There's no obvious link between them IMHO

I'm of the opinion that no escrow is better and faster

Especially with local pickup Grin

1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: January 11, 2014, 06:21:21 PM
The problem is general with ALL apps relying on the ppc.cryptocoinexplorer.com API which is down at the moment. I guess Multipool or something upstream relies on this to get the current difficulty of the chain.

Multipool is just another victim. I tried to extract the blocks with Abe or other scripts but the JSON output format of getblock <hash> is too different from the implementations that I have found so far. Just getting the difficulty is trivial though (getdifficulty)

Anyway, hope that cryptocoinexplorer.com will be up again soon and it'll fix the issue
1126  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 11, 2014, 04:56:44 PM
Anyone knows of someone planning to offer colocation for the coincrafts in Switzerland itself or in one of the neighbor countries i.e. Germany?

Cheers.

Bitmine offers hosting for 609 USD / month for 6 month (see pricing on their website) actually it seems not available / sold out

For those interested in hosting alternatives, we are based in Switzerland and we are currently setting up mining facilities. Will have more details in the following weeks.

Utiliser Comic Sans MS dans le portefeuille, ça fait toute la différence.

(avertissement: ce message est ironique)
1128  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: January 11, 2014, 02:48:50 PM
That's actually a good point. I agree that, at this point, it's far beyond impolite to not have even show up for this long. Hoping he's okay; last time he did this for a month and then showed up like nothing was the matter. I'm assuming that you guys have tried to email him at that email address?

I have little hope but I just did. I had sent at least 2 PMs before, of course.
1129  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: January 11, 2014, 08:21:49 AM
This is not funny. Unless Deprived had a serious accident or/and ended up in jail in a remote country, there is no excuse for not even bothering to say 'hi' once a month when you are an asset issuer with so much outstanding capital that you did not care to buy back.

I'm giving him until the end of the month, and then I'll see with a local lawyer how to start identification procedure, if affordable for less than $10.000 or something (just a figure). Anyone else interested?

Cheers

DOGE market at cryptsy disappear for anyone else?

Yes, don't know what's going on there.

Use Vircurex instead!

They have very good prices, 42 right now

Don't waste you time with bitcoin faucets.

Update your signature Wink
1133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Premining on: January 10, 2014, 04:14:08 PM
You don't like a new alt, yet it's over your favorite's profitability?

Two options

  • Bitch about it, nothing happens
  • Mine the coin you hate instead of the coin you love. Sell it off (autosell it) as much as you can. It will ease the difficulty (applying the logic to the masses) on your favourite, while you still get paid even more off the shitcoin. Eventually, the shitcoin dies and you made a profit. Isn't it better?
1134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is bitcoin faucet? on: January 10, 2014, 03:57:19 PM
The only one that i tried and successfully got coins can be found in my signature. Payout it every week and you can get up to 0.2 btc every hour

I actually tested it w/ your referral link Wink

It's nice, but I never won (lucky numbers). Only managed to cash out about $0.15 worth with 100s of plays, I'm done now.

But it's nice for starters, no complaining here
1135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is bitcoin faucet? on: January 10, 2014, 03:54:52 PM
For those who have a flatrate phone calls to available destinations, try CoinByCall, it's a no brainer.

Many countries available, in the US and EU.

Thanks for this, I *almost* bitched before reading.

So tl;dr disable AdBlock for bitcointalk.org - there are no (disturbing/intrusive/offtopic) ads here anyway.

When you advertise your pools, don't forget to mention the average hashrate ;-)

Good luck to the new pool operators

Who wants to setup a Ripple gateway for DOGE anyway? Cheesy

Could you please give us information for the January Batch 3rd week?
I orderer and fully paid a CoinCraft Rig 1th, I called the company but the man was a little confusing, saying that the order could be processed the 5th (??) week of Janury, but with no guarantee.

Could you please, bitmine staff, give me more information?

Thanks in advance.

Week 3 → Week 5 = Two Weeks™

Smells fishy...
