1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC would rise again? on: March 09, 2023, 06:02:32 PM
There were at least 2 big scandals last year that had a significant impact, namely LUNA and FTX, of course this makes investors continue to be vigilant, I'm sure if there is no big scandal this year then the price will recover at the end of the year, of course this is my prediction and I hope it's true so we can get it soon selling bitcoins.
If they only invest in Bitcoin, they will be fine because Bitcoin can always recover but if they invest on Luna and FTT coin, they will be doomed if they haven't sold their coins after the collapse of these two companies. Such scandals are normal and can happen at any times but let us still pray that they won't happen this year and next year.

They must let people to recover first and once we profited, that would be the time for them to come. They can affect the market badly but people can just use that opportunity for buying more coins. If we are investing in new coins, it's important to be vigilant so that you can sell your coins quickly before the situation gets worse.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 09, 2023, 05:16:15 PM
I believe that bearing costs is the reason why a person prefers one country over another. Good medical care will not be free, and then you may not be able to afford it, especially for individuals in the middle and poor classes. There are also consequences after the operation, such as care in the first months, medicines and other costs.

Also, some countries are better in certain disciplines, this chart may give you better information, although I am surprised at the reason for choosing Mexico, perhaps because of the flight costs)

Wait, what? I can't see The United States on that list. Does that mean that one of the most powerful nations and a very developed country spends less than 6.3% of its GDP on its healthcare systems? That's pretty surprising, and no wonder why people from there travel to neighboring countries for their medical necessities.

And I believe that it happens in almost every country where the lower classes who can at least travel go somewhere else to get proper treatment at less cost. Governments need to take good care of their healthcare systems more than they do right now.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 09, 2023, 04:42:00 PM
How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans?
When the price of Bitcoin was between $12k and $16k, I invested some Bitcoin and kept it. Actually the bitcoins i had were mainly earned from this forum. I held that investment for a long time. I sold my bitcoins when the bitcoin market rose to $40,000. Then Bitcoin did not stop there and gradually increased and took the position of $69k. Then I started feeling very bad. It seemed like I would have made more money if I had held on to this short period of time. However, I regretted it for a while and accepted it from my heart.
What you did wasn't actually against your plan since you didn't even have a plan for selling them and you were just holding them for a better price which you got I believe. Buying or holding from $16k to $40k is pretty much a good profit, though you could get more money if you had held them longer, I think you got a pretty good bargain still.

Selling your bitcoins against your plan would have been if you bought them at $16k and had the target of $50k in mind and then you sold them before reaching that mark due to any reason, either price drop and fear of losing value or anything.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 08, 2023, 07:08:31 PM
I can't believe that Quetta win😱, wao what a performance by the purple team player Jason roy, he score 145 not out with 20 boundaries and 5 sixes, out of no where he manages to chase a huge huge target of 240 while one ball still left also hafeez and smeed also add Thier effort to chase it down. I think such a kind of performance need quetta to qualify for next round. Now Quetta need another victory against Multan with high run rate and Peshawer should lose against Multan then trough run rate may be Quetta quality. But It's look impossible that Peshawer will do such kind of bad performance to kick himself out of tournament. It's great effort from Quetta but it will be worthless for them.
What an amazing match we have few minutes ago in Rawalpindi between Quetta vs Peshawar I was never expecting entertainment like this with first Babar and Saim done amazing stuff and having target like this 240 was absolutely impressive with mostly peoples were feeling this match is going to be ended one-sided for the Peshawar, but today we have Jason Roy at his best and this inning will be remembered for years he completely copies of performance like Liverpool vs Manchester United nothing positive for the Peshawar in their bowling spell and Roy and veteran Hafeez completely ruin their day and this season with their aggressive hitting with this win now Quetta's hopes alive for the playoffs even not too much but still they are in this event and have fair chance for the qualification and Peshawar surely going to face heat in their coming matches.

Now Quetta having their next encounter against struggling Multan and Peshawar is going to face Multan and Islamabad which is going to be tough challenge for both teams.
1125  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: March 07, 2023, 05:02:24 PM
Stalled at present and looking like down is a more likely option then up.  Could be a fake out type move rather then genuine sustained negative selling but right now I'm watching how it moves relative to various moving averages and this down trend line also.   Every time we've attempted upwards its failed to do so and resolved downwards, do that too often and it gets bumpy and falls off the track; action not likely to lead to 30k imo

Yeah, the possibility of the price reaching $20k or maybe lower is more than reaching $30k. We've seen how the last two weeks of last month were, we almost thought that it is going to get out of this cycle and start moving up, but every time market proved us wrong and then dropped again.

I'm pretty surprised by the poll results where most people voted for $30k, meaning the price will reach that first. Bitcoin will not move up before it touches $20k for once and then if it crosses $25k from there, that will be a signal for it to go towards $30k then.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: How to increase capital investment on: March 07, 2023, 04:12:54 PM
having your multiple source of income can allow you to have more capital, you can either get a job or do some business.
Your capital in investment should not be came from your savings, or else you will be force to get it even if its not due for taking profit.
Capital is a very crucial part of investing, you can tell where you are heading if you have enough capital, and you can be more profitable, by increasing your capital remember that you are also increasing the risk of losing it, so be ready for that as well.
Risks of losing capital can be significantly decreased when it comes to business, and that can be done by researching and analyzing all the business models that you are interested in and then choosing the one with very less chances of failure while providing good profit on a monthly basis. This practice can surely reduce the risk of losing your capital.

As you said, the higher your capital is, the better the profits will be and that works for almost all businesses, no matter what niche it belongs to. So if someone knows that starting a certain business can provide them with sure profit, they can obviously put more money into it.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 06, 2023, 08:40:46 PM
if the crypto assets that we currently have are quite large then storing them in several wallets I think is too complicated for us to do because there are so many privatekeys that we have to take good care of, but we can store in two wallets, one for offline storage and the other online that we use in investing and I think both wallets are enough and we also have to apply maximum security so as not to There are negative things that will happen later.
You can store all your private keys in one paper and on one location in order to less complicate things but this won't make sense at all once someone finds it because no matter how many wallets you have all of them are still going to be emptied. Two wallets must be ideal for all of us because I am also doing this.

One is strictly for storing Bitcoins and the other is an Ethereum wallet which supports Erc20 tokens and other kinds of altcoins and tokens. I do this because I found ETH wallets less secure, that's why I only keep less money on them. I also trust Bitcoin more in terms of profitability and stability, I mean it's unlikely to turn into a scam due to its old age.
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: March 06, 2023, 07:19:20 PM
Sometimes a bad trend can occur in the long term, as it happened in 2013 it took almost 4 years to make ATH again, and after 2021 the price reached ATH at $69k, many experts believe that the current negative trend will continue until halving day next year, but if we focus on big profits in the long term then now is the best time to keep buying.
Experts can only say according to their own predictions and they basically cannot forecast Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market conditions fully and accurately in the four years after ATH Bitcoin occurs in 2021. And as for buying for better profits in the future, it is now it's still right and it's not too late, but you also don't need to trust the experts who often make predictions for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market. Because they won't see anyone who has lost through the cryptocurrency market like in the past year.
They only based their predictions on the past but there is no way they can tell what can happen in the future and we all know that not all that happened in the past can repeat so we guys must not worry if they indicate negativity or a long-term bearish market. 4 years after 2021 would be 2025 but in 2024 there is a halving event in Bitcoin which is said to have a positive impact in its price.

I also believe on that and I think the increase will continue up to the year of 2025. We should invest only according to our own instincts and knowledge and not based on those so-called experts and influencers because it's our own money, not theirs.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: zomg lightning netowrk payment is fast as heck on: March 05, 2023, 08:20:14 PM
Yeah LN is pretty sick. I haven't used it myself but I've watched videos of people using it and they hit the button and literally a second later (or less) the other person has received the money.

As a network protocol its got some tradeoffs and still seems to need work and improvements that will hopefully hide some of those tradeoffs, but in terms of being able to send cheap and instant payments with Bitcoin its pretty amazing.

Bitcoin base chain is great for storing wealth and moving money around and buying things on the internet, but LN makes Bitcoin work for buying things in person where you need that instant payment.
It's name literally says it all, lightning. So far I only use ln one time and that is when I try a bitcoin lightning faucet. Transactions went smoothly as advertised. I think the reason why many of us have not use it regularly is due to lack of support.

If only LN is available on the gambling site that I am playing right now or on the shopping store that I use, I won't hesitate to use it than the other cryptos because they have delays and their transaction fees are sometimes high. I don't know if what is that trade-off or drawback you mean because I never experienced it before but don't worry because I know that it will still be fixed over time in order for ln to attract more users.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 05, 2023, 06:44:03 PM
Binance Exchange is going to launch secure xrp Staking this month. I got a email yesterday about this and want to claim my spot. 8800 confirmed accounts only will have access.

Rewards are nice. The rewards are 10% to 25% for first cohorts of users. It is for current XRP balance and additional returns for the initial campaign.  https://www.binance.com/en/earn/xrp
Really? That's cool and I think this was the first time that xrp can now be staked. Did you took your spot? I think if I got the email and I will have some xrp hodlings, I will be tempted to try this but unfortunately, I already use all my xrp balance before. I use them mostly in gambling because I am also scared a little to hodl them for the long term.

When it comes to this matter, I can only trust one coin so far and that would be bitcoin. Binance is a big exchange but why there is only 8k attendees on this event? I think it shows that people have a less trust with xrp. Let's see how this goes and if it will have a positive impact on the price of xrp or not.
1131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Security feature will still work as intended? on: March 04, 2023, 08:19:26 PM
You want to import a seed phrase from an online wallet to a hardware wallet? Do not try it at all, always generate seed phrase directly on hardware wallet, it is unique because the seed phrase and the keys are offline.

Most hot/software wallets use shorter seed lengths than hardware wallets
It depends on that hardware wallet, Trezor created Trezor model one and Trezor model T. Trezor model one generates 24 words seed phrase but Trezor model T generates 12 words seed phrase. But the main point is that be it 12 or 24 word seed phrase, a malware on an online device is able to compromise a wallet and know the seed phrase. Also 12 word seed phrase is still having the same bits of security as 24 words seed phrase.
Now I get it, thanks for explaining better,  you and @jackg,  I don't know how hardware wallets function,  I thought the only thing that makes a hardware wallet different from a hot wallet is the security side of things and also keeping the wallet offline.
You are correct in your understanding that the key difference between a hardware wallet and a hot wallet is the security aspect. Though a hot or software wallet is more convenient for regular transactions, they are more vulnerable to hacks and cyber attacks as they are constantly connected to the internet.

On the other hand, a hardware wallet provides an extra layer of security to protect your cryptocurrency holdings. They are designed to keep your private keys safe and secure, even if your computer or smartphone is compromised. So it's better not to mix them up and not let anyone compromise your security and access your assets.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price guess for March on: March 04, 2023, 04:21:03 PM
Until now, $25,000 is still strong. Attempts at it are still rejected. If there were successful moments, those are also very quick. The price can't seem to grab of it for a long while. Now it seems even $24,000 is also turning into a resistant. For the past week, the price could only get near it but can't penetrate it.

But March has just entered. Anything can still happen. There are good news and bad news around, although the negative sentiment of having possible stricter regulations following the collapse of FTX and the possible release of Mt. Gox funds could cause some damage.
A few hours back, Bitcoin dropped straight from $23,400+ to $21,900+, a big red candle right on our face after opening the chart. Though it has covered a little bit already, is at $23,300 by the time of writing this post, but I believe this isn't really a good sign and this is exactly what I expected.

I heard that this was due to the liquidation of Bitcoin long positions worth about $1.2b, I'm not sure if that's true or just a rumor though. And I think it's not done yet. We will definitely see a lower price than this and this will happen soon before it goes toward $25k.
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - is the bottom in? on: March 03, 2023, 09:15:31 PM
It cant really be that predictable in the first place and we know that this market is truly that unpredictable and there's no way or someone could able to see on where it would be going.
There's no way that we could determine whether its already be bottom or not and it is really hard to determine on when it would be going up or down.If it was predictable
on the first place then all of us would be making money and also it cant be called a market since it doesnt really getting involved buy
and sell on this case.
You are right that the cryptocurrency market can be unpredictable and difficult to predict. The price of cryptocurrencies can fluctuate greatly over short periods, making it challenging for traders and investors to determine when to buy or sell.

But, though it's true that the market can be unpredictable, it doesn't mean that it's impossible to make informed decisions based on market trends, technical analysis, and fundamental factors. Experienced and knowledgeable traders and investors use a variety of tools and strategies to analyze the market and make educated guesses about future price movements.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos lack slot clubs; comps, is it hard to achieve? on: March 03, 2023, 06:44:21 PM
for small rollers, online casinos can offer contest like what i've seen in betfury, the $150 free-to-play funfury battle. you can get certain amount of funfury token and use it to bet, and you don't need to spend real money to join. you can test how good you are in betting to get high profits also. so casinos can think of similar concept to small rollers just to engage them in being active on the site. this idea is not hard to implement, if they have dedicated individuals to take care of this feature. they don't need high amount to launch. and look at how many players will join the event.
Yeah, that's probably one of the best ways to keep gamblers engaged. Casinos really need to find ways to retain their smaller players because they make up the largest part of their user bases and they should see the overall revenue they can generate with the number of small players combined instead of looking at individual stats.

Small bonuses and events where small betters can participate can be good entertainers and can prove to be somewhat good customer retention techniques. Big rollers always dominate the events with their high bets and wagered amounts whereas smaller users just sit and watch.
1135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading or Investing in the stock market on: March 03, 2023, 09:51:33 AM
The stock market for security, stability, and dividend income, and bitcoin for long-term gains. Both are fantastic strategies to keep your money from standing around and depreciating in fiat currencies, but right now I have more faith in Bitcoin than anything else on the stock market. Bitcoin becomes a realistic alternative in this climate of uncertainty and mistrust because investors all around the world are very concerned about the lack of trust in companies and organizations.
For me, stocks seem to be riskier than Bitcoin in the long run, though I understand that the companies that the stocks belong to are actually there to stay if we choose good ones, I still feel safer if my money is invested in Bitcoin instead of stocks.

I also feel like Bitcoin is more profitable, in short term and also in the long term than stocks if it's bought at the right time with the right amount of money. I don't believe that stocks have got the ability to provide significant profits in only a few hours if good enough capital is invested in them.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ICC women's T20 World cup 2023 Discussion Thread on: March 02, 2023, 09:28:30 PM
It is not just their attitude towards franchise cricket. Indian women started playing regularly since 2020 or 2021. Till then they had a maximum of 2-3 tours per year. The quality of domestic cricket was so poor and it wasn't given any importance by the BCCI. But during the last 2-3 years, there have been a lot of improvement. But still, it will take many years to catch up with a team like Australia, who have been playing regular matches since time immemorial. The lack of experience was very evident in the way Harmanpreet Kaur got runout during the semi-final.

That looks like a very unfortunate way to get out. It can clearly be seen that she lacked quick decision-making and presence of mind since she should totally save her wicket if she had her bat dragged towards the crease which wasn't so far from where she was when the bails went off.

BCCI will definitely need to focus a bit more on their women's cricket team if they want them to progress in world cricket. With their condition being like this, we can't really compare them with Australia, who never lack behind when it comes to the presence of mind and playing quality cricket. A very big contribution to that is probably from their cricket board which does everything to push them forward just like their men's team.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ever heard of Roninsea.com for NFTs trade or am I being scammed? on: March 02, 2023, 05:24:00 PM
I got an interesting offer for one of my art piece from an unexpected art merchant as he led me to believe. He happened to like two of my art pieces, but opted to get one first before the other. It however came with a catch, and that is, I would have to register and pay gas fee on the NFT marketplace he provided with the link, https://roninsea.com/.
I took my time to visit the link address he sent and it seemed kind of legit, until he started insisting I pay the gas fee after he learnt I registered on the site.
Before completing the trade with me however, he reiterated that I must pay the gas fee before Tuesday, else he would spend the fund on something other than the purchase of my art piece.
In applying caution so as not to fall into the hands of a fraudster out of desperation, I tried to research the name 'roninsea' on Google and have asked a few friends if they have heard of any NFT marketplace with this name. None could confirm if the site is legit till today. Am conversant with Opensea, Rarible, besides these, please let me know if others exist.
You are definitely in the process being scammed, and in no way you should pay the gas fees for something that you are selling and that you own. If they were really legit, they wouldn't take you to another specific platform to do the trade. I'm sure you have accounts on regular and famous NFT platform such as OpenSea, Rarible etc.

I've never heard the name of that platform before. You should ask them to purchase the art pieces that they like from a reputable platform to avoid unnecessary problems and confusions. If they insist, let them go and never trade with anyone next time who asks you to register on a specific website just so that they can buy your art pieces.
1138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 01, 2023, 08:29:49 PM
You are on point, the $80K price is not feasible this year, it would be a milestone since it would breach the all-time high of the coin which is not what I see possible until halving time. The best of Bitcoin this year should be between $30-45K, nothing more, and for it starting the year well is still not an indication that it would perform well for the rest of the year.
$30K - $45K for Bitcoin this year is something more Bitcoin deserves to see and achieve. Because I think that market conditions will still be affected by the new news that appears in this year so it will not be very possible for Bitcoin to increase by $ 80K in just a short time, namely this year. After all, a price of that size still looks quite big at this point given that Bitcoin's current price is still at $23K+.
Not Bitcoin is the one that deserves it but we who invest on it because it gives us a hope and some profits. The profit that we can get can still grow if more increases are recorded by Bitcoin later on. Bitcoin does not care if whatever the price it will have but we people are not disappointed with BTC even if it is dumping sometimes.

We are in fact proud of it because it reached this long and if without him, crypto world won't grow big like this. There are many factors which can affect the price of Bitcoin including the news and the rising inflation rates. Let us hope those things are not going to come so that we can also hit this $80k you guys are wishing for.
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: March 01, 2023, 02:46:11 PM
I think march could be, we have tried it and basically made the cap looser to open next time we tried it. Imagine it this way, you can hit a wall with a hammer once, and it will not fall down, but if you hit the wall with a hammer over a dozen times then it will eventually be just crumbles and nothing more.

This is why I believe that we shouldn't be really focusing on what to do with bitcoins future, because we know what we should, just try to hammer that 25k price as many times as we have to and eventually we will crack above that level without a doubt. I know that it is not going to be easy, but it will happen eventually, maybe we will fail a couple more times but we will eventually pass that level.
There has been a lot of movement lately. It went to $25k for the second time, couldn't hold it, then dropped back to $22.7k, couldn't go lower, and rallied back to nearly $24k again, but wasn't strong enough again, and dropped back to $23k again. Now it's trying to go up once again, and it still doesn't look too strong of a movement to me.

Though we know that it is destined to cross that $25k mark sometime soon, I still feel that we will see it moving again towards $20k at least once or maybe twice before it breaks up the resistance and goes beyond.
1140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that this AI is good for trading? on: February 28, 2023, 07:44:59 PM
ChatGPT can't help you in trading. Actually, it can't predict the future and it's data is limited to 2021. In this videos, they build trading bot in Python with the help of ChatGPT. I mean, when you have a question in programming, you can ask ChatGPT and it will provide you with the information just like google but it will represent everything in human language, i.e. it filters information and rebuilds it. It gives answers similar to how human would answer you if you messaged.

Overall, I want to say that AI trading bots don't exist. There is not a public AI trading bot that can analyze charts, news, everything that affects the data and then give the prediction like an intellectual.
Also, I can't call if a = b, return c function an intelligence. It's collection of bunch of functions and operators.
ChatGPT is a good and useful tool, but it is not 100% reliable, even if you are using it for programming or coding tasks, you will still need to double-check the code and the bugs it may have. Though it can sometimes generate a total of 100% accurate responses and codes, it is not advisable to use the responses directly without a human check.

What it does is it makes the process easier. A program that might take hours or days for a human to be written, ChatGPT writes it within minutes, and then all a person needs to do is check if the code has no errors or issues. You need to be aware of programming languages yourself of course, in case there are errors so that you can rectify them.
