1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: March 18, 2020, 06:30:55 PM
There is no real sample size for your dataset to come to conclusion, the first two are mostly a regional thing and I do not think it has any effect on global market, surprise you did not put SAR Virus in it, which seems to have more casualties than the first two on your list.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mouth work wonders in crypto on: March 17, 2020, 07:23:58 PM
Most of the so called influencial people in the space soiled their names during the ICO boom, promoting any shit coin, and then dump on investors. Who in the world would again believe such a person. I think people need to stop looking up to someone to tell them want to do, which coin would pump because you will get hurt in the end. Do you own research and be well position for future price pump
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VPNs using Blockchain Technology on: March 17, 2020, 07:18:43 PM
I  know of Mysterium but the project never rely gained any traction, was able to raise huge amount of money in the ICO boom of 2017, recently Tachyon Protocol is making moves to make waves in the space  but the issue I see is getting users to their network, if they can they this would be huge for them, another thing is speed, if their network is not slow as compared to the centralized VPN it would be a good selling point
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto analyst accused of photoshopping trade screenshots on: March 17, 2020, 07:15:45 PM
Who can you really trust for advice and inspiration!?

Jacob Canfield publicly admitted to photoshopping trades
https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-analyst-accused-of-photoshopping-trade-screenshots

So tired of self proclaimed experts giving advice without being able to show their track record. I want more transparency!

All analysts/trading experts should use Altpocket.io or a similar service to have a third party verifying their trades and their historical performance so that you know who you can trust.

I challenge them to dare to show their real performance.
I do not know why people are surprise, most of these guys would post signals/trade after the trade most have played out, when you see a trader posting only his profitable trades and no loss then know that he is a scam. There is no way you can trade without making loss, even the ratio is likely to be around 45 to 55, profit to loss, it is just that when you win, you win big and when you make loss, it is small because of the stop loss
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is fake shit on: March 15, 2020, 04:00:40 PM
It could be painful when someone lose money like the recent price dump in the space and at times I try to think this whole thing is also a shit but as yourself how is the stock market also doing. Have you ever made money in the space before? if your answer is yes, then your problem is money and fund management most people think anytime then trade they must make profit and this is a very wrong assumption because nothing in life is quarantined, you win some and lose some, just make sure that your wins are more than loss
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Edward Snowden interested back in Bitcoin after Crash on: March 15, 2020, 03:54:07 PM
Yes, it seems tempting to want to buy BTC now because of the recent dump but a dump like this has been on the wing for sometime, people have been saying the stock market is overpriced and if this trend of panic continue then the price could go lower, I was surprise when I saw the the price dumped to $3800 on Binance and another panic sale like this is likely to take the price lower than we can imagine. Do not buy on emotion and not because someone is marketing it to you
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Damages to Crypto Market on: March 15, 2020, 03:47:32 PM
It is very easy to blame CoronaVirus for the current Bitcoin price tumble, but what most people forgot is that the price of halving has already been priced into the price. People need to stop seeing Bitcoin has a way to get rich quick, it is not, it is an investment and an investors do not invest today and expect his money to double tomorrow
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Again 🔥 on: March 15, 2020, 03:44:20 PM
There is no company in the space that has done well for the space in the last one year than Binance, Binance also is the only exchange that is well prepared for the coming bull run. I love it when a CEO said something and walk the talk, He always said we build and there is proof to show that are building even to me more than enough
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still a Safe Haven, haters aren't saying the truth. on: March 14, 2020, 11:19:53 AM
The issue here is that so many exchange products are hurting Bitcoin, I doubt that some of these exchanges even have their customer Bitcoin, so a time like this they use it as opportunity to make the most out of the market, remember they always win, because when you buy you pay trading fee and when sell you will still pay
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Exactly Caused The New Drop Of Crypto? on: March 14, 2020, 10:55:26 AM
Because there is economic turmoil in the traditional sector, this is the first time that some people will have this first hand knowledge of how global market. There is no way crypto market can live in isolation of the the traditional market, if this continue for a long time people need to be prepared
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How coronavirus can trigger a significant decline in the crypto market? on: March 14, 2020, 10:43:33 AM
This is simple, when people are not going to work, they will need another source of income or take out of their investment, the selling pressure was what triggers the chain selling pressure, most people have their stop loss setup and was triggered.

Another thing is that Crypto market is not in isolation from the whole market space and when there is a panic like this people start factoring it in
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PreANN BitcoinSC | Smart Contracts for the Bitcoin Protocol | POW on: March 12, 2020, 07:30:38 AM
if you could not come up with an identifiable and unic coin name, why should we expect for a valuable tech/solutions from the project?

I don't see anything wrong with the name, I think what the team is doing is to build their brand around Bitcoin, Bitcoin is a sound brand in the space why not use it to build your own brand.

The question I have for the tea is that how is this project different from RSK project, it is also a smart contract project on Bitcoin
Also, what do I get for signing into for the project, if there is no incentive people won't commit to the project
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [ANN] HiveNet – The Next Generation of Cloud Computing 🔥🔥 on: March 12, 2020, 07:24:16 AM
Please correct if I am wrong here and this is not to bash the project. I have looked at many of these cloud computing in the space none has really deliver or able to generate users for their platform. I can name like 4 to 5 project that was able to raise huge funds during the last ICO craze and most are just there burning the investors funds.

My question is how is this project going to be different from them
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | A Linux Infrastructure for Scalable DApps on: March 12, 2020, 07:20:00 AM
I don't think Cartesi team is active here. I do want to ask why their game contest yesterday only have one winner. I do not like the idea of winner takes all. If the reward can be spread around to more contestant. 3 people winning will be fine by me, because this will help to generate more interest because what I see the team is doing is trying to generate interest in their platform before their IEO
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EON] EXSCUDO - ICO successfully finished! on: March 10, 2020, 09:04:06 PM
Anyone still hoping this project would end well must be living in a Dreamland. These guys are scammers, took my BTC and fail to deliver a sound product years after their ICO. Some tokens listed on exchange even without their own tokens then swap later. I have accepted my loss but this is just to warn other people. Just look at the exchange and compare it to serious exchanges in the space then you will understand what I am saying
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: March 10, 2020, 08:57:25 PM
The issue with Semux seems to be lack of connection in the space, some people do frown against VCs money and influence in a  project but if you have a very influential VCs backing your projects it helps to open doors for the project and get listed on top exchanges. hopefully Semux will not die on small exchanges
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 10, 2020, 08:52:07 PM
Opportunity comes everyday, so do not whine on these miss. Tokens pumped everyday.

Everyone is feeling the impact of these coronary virus now not just the Crypto market. It is just painful that this is happening now when the Bitcoin halving is around the corner.
1138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do due to the huge market collapse of the Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2020, 06:48:38 PM
I think some people are in a state of denial, thinking Bitcoin can be isolated from the effect of the Coronary virus on the market. This one is different, people are not going out to make money, the market activities are being affected all over the world, we can see the impact in Italy now, stadiums are not opened to fan, can you estimate the economic loss of that. If this Coronal virus is not contained soon, no market will be isolated from its impact
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic and Regret in Crypto (Brother and Sister) on: March 09, 2020, 06:22:38 PM
Unless you are a trader, Bitcoin/Crypto investing is a long term game, those that think they can invest today and see the price double in a month are in  for a long run, go and ask people that made money in the space, it is because they play the long game. The next Bitcoin bull run will be the daddy of all Bull run
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: March 09, 2020, 06:17:21 PM
A giant sell off is the reason behind the huge dump in Bitcoin price not coronavirus, it has something to do with a pyramid scheme called plustoken, below is the link to the full news

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-drop-due-to-13k-btc-plustoken-scam-not-coronavirus-analysts/amp

I think the main plan of the Plustoken schemers is to dump the Bitcoins and their Ethereum into the bull market, they are getting very nervous IMO, thinking that the Government will catch them. The price is a good entry point for those who don't have Bitcoin, I have been saying it that we are likely going to see a big push in priece towards Halving come May
