11201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash aiming for new all time highs on: May 16, 2016, 03:34:39 PM

How do you guys read the OBV?

11202  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: May 16, 2016, 03:26:28 PM
If really desperate to have money maybe few bucks, I might just sell my very kept gold ring lol.
I have this from my father when i was in high school i think this will be worth about $600, I'd sell this on craigslist and arrange  meet ups.

Woah, that what others do when there is an emergency and you desperately need money, you would your precious gems, jewelries but it is better because that kind of jewelry/gold ring becomes more expensive as the time goes by.
And wow , $600 that is a very high appraisal of your gold ring.

It will however break his heart if i lose it. Parents always want their kids to depend to them and sure he'd be mad once he knew i sold it instead of ask help from him.
Anyway, I'd only sell it if really needed. I still have a job and will always find a job.
11203  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful! E-Coin may be turning to a scam on: May 16, 2016, 03:14:04 PM

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK - IM SO ANGRY!!!!  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

You're over reacting.

Debit cards are an extremely ripe area for scamming. I think in peoples' minds having Visa or Mastercard glued on there sounds super legit. In reality it looks like any old donkey can get on board with them.

I almost fall for it when i heard about them, lucky I just don't have much coin to them so i didn't register. I'm still eager to have a debit card just to brag to friends  Grin
11204  Economy / Economics / Re: Actually the bitcoin market is very small on: May 16, 2016, 02:57:46 PM
The market will still grow in the future given the fact that btc's value is also growing and they are used and preferred as its accepted by merchants too.
but either its value grow or not, new coin will replace it.
11205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 16, 2016, 09:38:33 AM
it really gets interesting upon seeing bitkaptal to operate on waves platform. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1421572

Waves doing great so far! Will invest more BTC near end of ICO.  Cheesy

its not too late though but you should have bought more when there were still bonuses.
11206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin what you buy today ? on: May 16, 2016, 03:17:59 AM

I want to know Grin Grin Grin

You'd rather go to a coin which is among the top ten on coinmarketcap.com may ETH or MaidSafeCoin perhaps. also try using bittrex, their intereface allows you to buy at certain price.
Or you could just dive into ICO/fundings instead, maybe DAO or Waves which i think has good potential these days.
11207  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ilan ang ACTIVE na Pilipino sa BITCOINTALK? (Answer the poll.) on: May 16, 2016, 03:12:28 AM

11208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 16, 2016, 02:35:55 AM
On gambling shows that the majority of people who do gambling just  as a form of recreation, entertainment and many also make gambling as a means to earn an income. Usually referred to as a gambling addiction is the urge to continue to gamble despite harmful negative consequences of aware or despite their desire to quit who often ignored.

Gamblers won't find it entertaining if they lose actually.
If someone really need the money and would need to earn as much as possible, he wouldn't resort to gambling for sure. so even if its addicting, he sure will avoid engaging to it.
11209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will transaction fees be like once no more BTC can be mined? on: May 16, 2016, 12:55:57 AM
Fees i think would be adjusted and I think they will do this after halving to balance and keep the miners mining. Or else it would be the start of bitcoin to gradually stop and may be replaced by newer and sophisticate coin. There are good alternatives anyway and so the path of btc depends to the devs where they'd had to solve issues for the future.
11210  Other / Off-topic / Re: SILK ROAD 3.0 – Back Online and Open For Business on: May 15, 2016, 02:33:30 PM
Nice so you've already created 321 throwaway accounts already?  Grin
Anyway won't user be suspicious about making transaction under the sites' radar?  And i mean they could end up behind bars too when caught.
11211  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Cointelegraph`s referral program on: May 15, 2016, 02:05:54 PM
So when are they going to resume their referral program, anyone knew?
I can see my hits are being counted still even when there is a message in the dashboard saying "The referral programm is suspended. Will come soon."
11212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to spend Bitcoin? Newbie's opinion. on: May 15, 2016, 02:03:40 PM
Personally, I love to use Bitcoin to buy nearly anything I can. This is because the seller will have no access to any of my personal details.

Earning few BTC and wait for the halving can be an investment but why don't you also try spending it on ICO and wait for your profit assuming you have invested on a good coin - you only need to spend few. its the same thing as altcoin trading.
11213  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchains investment on: May 15, 2016, 01:51:05 AM
150% return for a ten day period? That's a fucking fantastic deal. That's, like, way better than a bank or a financial adviser. Why doesn't anyone offer this shit to me? It's not FAIR.

I didn't receive such email as well. so from now on I will advertise my email address anywhere here in the forum and post that I'm an early adopter and have lots of BTCs on my wallet.
I you do wanna receive offers like this in the future, try this too.
11214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Like ETHEREUM? on: May 15, 2016, 01:36:32 AM
Not that I like them like I like them  Grin
apart that smart contract is a revolutionary concept but I also took part of how it grow because I invested to it back when it was in crown funding stage.
11215  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchains investment on: May 14, 2016, 05:09:35 PM

Its almost something believable, look at the email used to send to you.
But then if they do run such program, we'd all know as someone here in the forum would have posted it the first before you even receive an email. Sure its a scam!
11216  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: No Adsense - the end of the game for faucets? - Alternative Solutions? on: May 14, 2016, 04:33:50 PM
there are lot of alternatives actually, i just don't know if it can give you what adsense can.  maybe having two adnetwork in your page  will give more. say infolinks and maybe yahoo pubishers network.
assuming you have approved ypn.
11217  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best signature campaign now a days on: May 14, 2016, 04:08:35 PM
you may wanna join some Signature campaign of those new coin on ICO, they're giving away their coins as bounty for joining thier campaign. They're also worth the while especailly if the coin turn out to be of value. Waves signature campaign can be great. lets say you'll get 300 waves by the end of the month. and waves value is just $1, its still worth.
11218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would anyone buy this DAO crap? on: May 14, 2016, 03:00:39 PM
Simple.
Buy in before the price rises 50% by the end of the ico.
Cash out afterward with a guaranteed split (as stated in the terms) for instant 50% profit

An easy 50% instant profit ? hard to believe, I am not doubting you, I am doubting DAO.

Everyone has doubts. even t hose that invest actually. they don't know the outcome really but seeing how the project may turn out, there is a higher possibility of having a good profit like how the other coins had succeeded.  Some may see DAO better than Lisk and some don't.
11219  Economy / Services / Re: Want to earn Bitcoin on: May 14, 2016, 02:51:36 PM
try to become a reseller of some items online. i saw some people from ebay offering their resellers a percentage of the earnings.
i do think its not so bad when you don't have a real job at all. if what you have is time then go, try the signature campaign too.
11220  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: May 14, 2016, 06:45:04 AM
I don't really know what i will do when happen smth like this, maybe i will start working on daily job or will try to work with altcoin but i will never stop  forget bitcoin.
Your  situation would be the common scenario if we face bitcoin price dropped to $1. Most of the people will not find what to do next. But, many people still believe that bitcoin will bounce back very soon. This kind of belief, will not make bitcoin to fall as the above.

don't you think its time to buy more bitcoins? I certainly will ask for loan and sell my valuables just to buy bitcoin which is just $1. certainly i can gather about $2k for all the computer stuff I have, i can sell my bike and sell my girlfriend as well. she's all yours for just $10.
