11261  Economy / Speculation / Re: i wish next bubble on: February 17, 2015, 01:16:27 PM
i want to be rich

Your 0.1BTC is now worth around ~$24

Imagine what will happen if Bitcoin price reach $500!!!!

You will double your investment for sure. Amazing isn't it?
11262  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Domain] EarnSatoshi.com on: February 16, 2015, 03:53:19 PM
$20 is too big. I can go for $4 If this domain is 6 months old

Thanks for the bump, but I'm not interested in your offer.

I thought making it in bold would make it easier to read......

Don't offer anything below $20
11263  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: February 16, 2015, 01:39:07 PM
I use Bitcoin Core with the complete blockchain on my computer.

The only downside is that nowadays it takes nearly 10-15 minutes for the wallet to open.

It's quite annoying. Is there a way to speed this up?

I open the wallet nearly everyday to download the latest blocks. But time on time again it takes so long for it to open.
11264  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-15] Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Huobi and Bter Experiencing Issues on: February 16, 2015, 01:35:09 PM
I was holding a certain amount of coins that I had for trading purposes always in my exchange accounts.

But that has stopped, I sent everything to my offline wallets.

I have not even have a single satoshi there now. If I need to sell something I will just make a deposit, and sell after it posted.
11265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I believe bitcoin will never reach 1 million per coin on: February 16, 2015, 01:16:22 PM
No one should think Bitcoin will ever reach anything above $100K. These valuations are beyond insane.

Let's get the price first to $1000 again, and keep it there. Shall we?
11266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now 7000 btc will be dumped making the price go lower and lower! on: February 16, 2015, 01:11:24 PM
7000 Bitcoins will make the price go perhaps $30 lower if dumped at once at decent exchange.

But then again, it will go up quickly again.

It's sad to see that we were heading up with a good vibe, and suddenly a shitty exchange ruins everything by "losing" $1.7M worth of coins.
11267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the longest you have waited for one confirmation?? on: February 16, 2015, 01:06:47 PM
The longest I have ever had to wait was around 2 hours.

It was a +3BTC transaction with 0.0001BTC fee, but it had medium priority.
11268  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $180,000 reward for helping BTER return stolen bitcoins! on: February 15, 2015, 03:02:34 PM
The coins are lost, the only thing BTER can do is to contact gambling sites, mixers, exchanges, etc, to not accept the coins, or simply freeze the coins once deposited.

Or the hacker can choose to return the coins in order to get a royal bounty, but that most likely won't happen.
11269  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: February 15, 2015, 02:57:56 PM
Has anyone seen Bayern Munich - HSV yesterday?

HSV literally got trashed with historical numbers  Cheesy
11270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTER - I want my money back ! on: February 15, 2015, 02:46:13 PM
And another exchange that got hacked? It's going to look like a domino effect.

Exchange after exchange gets hacked, it's ridiculous.

I only use BTC-E and Bitstamp, but even Bitstamp got hacked this year.

How long are we still going to leave our precious Bitcoins with these shitty exchanges.......

Seems there is no other option . Have they ever commented on this ?

This is a message from BTER :

We have to suspend all our services waiting for the security check. More information will be released as soon as possible. Sorry for the interruption.

At this point there is an option. And that is storing your coins in your wallet.

But not the option that most people are keen with I think.

I have not really a technical background, but a lot people are talking about decentral exchanges, not sure how it works out.

If it stops hackers and thief CEO's it will be considered a forward step.
11271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news? on: February 15, 2015, 02:40:58 PM
I mostly use Coindesk.com and Cryptocoinsnews.com, their articles are mostly a good read.

And from time to time also Twitter and Reddit.

11272  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Domain] EarnSatoshi.com on: February 15, 2015, 02:38:22 PM
Bump.

11274  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-02-14] Medium: Bitcoin could reach $34,400 - Roger Ver on: February 14, 2015, 09:16:32 PM
Winklevoss bro's say $100K and Roger Ver says $34K.

Of course I would love to see Bitcoin anywhere in the range they quote.

But is it realistic....? Hmm, not sure. Probably not.  Cheesy
11275  Other / Off-topic / Re: Piratebay taken down on: February 14, 2015, 09:09:27 PM
I was getting used to kickass.so after TPB was taken down, and now kickass is taken down. Angry

I switched back to TPB for downloading stuff. Let's hope it stays online now.

Isn't there a way to have a domain that can't get seized by any party?
11276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Pay to integrate Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2015, 08:58:51 PM
And of course the Bitcoin price will react, at this point the price once again is fully rumor driven.

But hey, if Microsoft made a first step, then why not Google.  Smiley
11277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to invest on: February 14, 2015, 08:50:43 PM
Why don't you just invest your 500k in getting yourself into Bollywood for creating a low Budget comedy movie?

Might pay off quite a bit. NOT
11278  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your price ? on: February 14, 2015, 08:43:29 PM
It depends.

My coins that I have for trading purposes will be sold if the profit is at least 20%.

My cold storage coins won't get sold the comming years.  Cheesy
11279  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: February 12, 2015, 03:17:21 PM
At least 6 points, better than none  Grin

Why not doing BBVA league as well?

If so, here is my prediction for next round.

Almeria V Real Sociedad 1-2
Sevilla V Cordoba 3-1
Real Madrid V Dep. La Coruna 4-1
Granada V Ath. Bilbao 1-1
Malaga V Espanyol 2-2
Valencia V Getafe 3-0
Barcelona V Levante 5-0
Rayo Vallecano V Villarreal 1-2
Celta Vigo V Atl. Madrid 1-2
Eibar V Elche 1-1
11280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price stabilizing? If so, why? on: February 12, 2015, 03:02:29 PM
People should look further than only the past few days.

Bitcoin isn't stable and won't be stable for plenty of years.

With the current price of ~$220 a small up or down bounce means a few to perhaps 10% price change in only 24 hours.

Low sell orders can make the price go down quite a bit. That is beyond stable.
