11281  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC again reach 400$+ on: February 12, 2015, 02:55:52 PM
My crystal ball said 400$ will be reached by 19.6.2016. Not sure if it is lying.

By looking at your avatar, it's "telling" me that your prediction is a very solid one.

OP, just hold your coins, or buy something nice with them.

Selling at this point is not really a smart move, and you'll regret it for sure when price goes up again.
11282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase volume on: February 12, 2015, 02:52:00 PM
Coinbase is gaining popularity, it was just a matter of time that their volume is higher than Bitstamp.

As much as I like BTC-E, their orderbook is a huge joke.

I wonder how long it will take before Kraken exchange surpass their volume.

11284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 20,000 households getting their salary in bitcoin on: February 11, 2015, 09:54:19 PM
For merchants holding Bitcoin after a sale is quite a nightmare at this point.

If they sell a tv for $1000 in Bitcoin and after the sale a few days later the price plummets +30% which is a disaster for them.

How can you convice them to hold their coins if this isn't something you can fix within a decent amount of years.

How do you wash out very early adopters, thieves with 500K BTC, etc.

And don't forget Satoshi himself has also a few hundred K worth of BTC. They are sleeping at this point, but you never know when they move, if ever.

This all are huge risks for businesses and services holding Bitcoin instead of converting to fiat.
11285  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin is 1 Bitcoin no matter what the price ... on: February 11, 2015, 09:36:29 PM
nope.

1 btc = 0.9999 btc actually.

(There's 0.0001 btc transfer fee Grin )

If your 1BTC has enough priority you don't have to pay any fees.

From that point of view 1BTC is still 1BTC  Smiley
11286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone try hard to keep pressure Bitcoin price on: February 11, 2015, 09:34:46 PM
It's not that hard for medium to large whales to manipulate the thin orderbooks.

Not sure if they are really trying to keep the price down at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were.

I notice Marco Reuss has extended his contract with Dortmund
What a statement to make given the identity of his suitors!~

This is absolutely a fantastic gesture from the star player himself.

I was soo hoping for him to stay in Dortmund.

Very pleased to know that he won't go to Real, Bayern, Barca, etc.
11288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin should be re-named to... on: February 11, 2015, 09:27:49 PM
NotACoinForPanicSellersCoin.

That's a solid name, will for sure go through the roof!
11289  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if we go lower than $215? on: February 11, 2015, 09:26:21 PM
Absolutely nothing.

Why should something happen?

And since when is $215 an important support level? Since never. Beause it isn't, and never will be.  Cheesy
11290  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: February 10, 2015, 02:40:53 PM
Ok so finally I received my first payment of 0.0258. No clue why did I not get 0.035 though as I made over 50 posts but I am happy and will be trying and making more posts this week  Cool

You sure you made the 50 posts whithin the 7 days timeframe?

Perhaps some of them were considered off-topic.

I think 50 post on a week is quite easy

7 post per day = 1 post every 3.5 hours

It should be enough time to make a quality post

It's not about whether it's easy or not to make plenty of posts in 7 days.

Looking at his post history :

February 9th he made 21 posts
February 8th he made 7 posts
February 7th he made 4 posts
February 6th he made 4 posts

Look at the difference, especially February 9th.

Perhaps that's the reason for not getting paid for everything.

Posting should be done spreaded within the 7 days timeframe, and with a 21 post peak at February 9th the bot may consider them as off-topic or spam.
11291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last chance for the cheap 3-digit coins on: February 10, 2015, 02:28:36 PM
Double digits is far far far away, but nothing is impossible with Bitcoin.

Instead of waiting for the price to go down, place smart buy orders, then you don't have to miss anything if it really goes down.

I'm curious to see if a whale trader is going to dump it below $200 these days.

At this point people are in a hope that it won't/can't go below $200 so the panic will be epic when it dips below $200 again  Cheesy
11292  Economy / Speculation / Re: First day I have doubts on: February 10, 2015, 02:23:29 PM
People should calm down and relax. Be patient.

Do you guys really expect the Bitcoin price will sky-rocket back to +$300 level??

Come on, a lot has happened in this year already, current price is a fair reflection of what is going on right now.

If you can't handle it, sell your coins, and then you don't have to worry anymore.
11293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 20,000 households getting their salary in bitcoin on: February 10, 2015, 02:13:19 PM
Once we reach 20k households getting paid in bitcoin I believe at that point we will have reached mass adoption.

Can you kindly explain why you think 20k is considered mass adoption according to you?

Don't you think the money that's flowing into Bitcoin as you say will also flow out of Bitcoin at some point?

There have to be plenty of places, and I mean places where we can buy daily needs with Bitcoin. Which isn't the case at this point.

What's the point of accepting Bitcoin as salary when you will exchange them for fiat anyway.

It's nice to buy domains, servers, phones, etc. But we need super markets, gas stations and what not to accept Bitcoin in order to keep as much money IN Bitcoin.
11294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin took over.... on: February 10, 2015, 02:05:26 PM
If Bitcoin took over.... It won't, not even if. It will be just one of the optional ways of paying that we already have.

Simple as that.

11295  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: February 10, 2015, 02:02:27 PM
Predictions for the midweek games:

Arsenal V Leicester 2-2
Hull V Aston Villa 1-2

Chelsea V Everton 4-2
Man Utd V Burnley 3-1
Southampton V West Ham 2-1
Stoke V Man City 0-4
Crystal Palace V Newcastle 1-2
West Brom V Swansea 1-0

I don't gamble but I just for fun predict match results.

11297  Other / Archival / Re: SatoshiBitco.in on: February 09, 2015, 12:57:56 PM
is this satoshibitco.in or satoshibit.co.in

its SatoshiBitco.in

Don't give him any attention.

The dude is just trying to bump his postcount.

How obvious can it be as the title state .in instead of .co.in.
11298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin better had not go below $50 on: February 09, 2015, 12:54:17 PM
Put a lot of money in recently at 200 it should be a bargin considering this is life changing technology and what the future holds.

How the hell can it drop any further since before all this infrastructure and awareness now how the hell can it go lower

And another "investor" aka gambler who don't know how markets work.

Buying at a certain price level, and when it goes down by a lot they blame Bitcoin for being fake, ponzi, etc....

Come on... Do some proper research about what you're buying and at what price level.
11299  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 09, 2015, 12:45:51 PM
According to the Winklevoss bro's you'll need 7 or 8 Bitcoins in order to be millionaire in the future Cheesy

I think you'll be a millionaire in the future with at least 1000 Bitcoins.
11300  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: February 09, 2015, 12:42:42 PM
Atletico - Real was an amazing match!

4-0 is no joke, Real players must feel like shit today.

Well deserved win, I hope they trash Barcelona the same way when they meet again.

Very good match for Atletico.
Mandjukic was perfect!
I heard that Bayern's funs crying for him Smiley

Mandzukic was scoring far more than Lewandowski for Bayern.

Lewandowski has to deal with Robben, Muller, Gotze.

Look at Robben, he is an absolute bomb for Bayern, goal after goal.

Poor Lewandowski....  Cheesy
