I wouldn't be that cruel with Leicester. They've clearly focused on Champions League, and a smaller team like Seville could perfectly lose against them. Of course they won't get exploded, and we'll probably have a boring draw in Spain but a nice victory in England for the second match.
Sevilla is a smaller team? Dont try to make me laugh mate Roll Eyes

Perfectly. Sevilla is first not concentrating on Champions League like Leicester is doing. Budget is also not the same, Leicester's one being quite largely superior. Finally, I believe Leicester players to be better. Just Vardy is better than Nasri. Mahrez is also an excellent player.

How can you say that?  The CL is the most prestigeous European club tournament out there.  All the clubs who reached the KO stages are totally focused on it, and are trying to balance everything with their respective league fixtures and other cup games.

I also noticed you're a new account that suddenly appeared here.  This could be another signature spam account in the making, churning out nonesense posts.  Please stop it or Lauda will have to mark your accounts red again.

Just a little update.  It now looks like the main event for 208 is Holly Holm vs De Randamie for the inaugural Women's FW Championship.  The big question:  Where's Cyborg in all this?
11343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 207: Rousey vs Nunes Prediction and Info Thread on: December 15, 2016, 04:11:56 AM
Here's another free fight video to give us a preview on Amanda Nunes' fighting style.  I'd say she could take on a guy in her weight class.  Anyone rooting for Rousey could be in for another upset.

Real Madrid Vs Napoli
Although Real are on 35 games unbeaten run but they are not the team to avoid in CL

35 unbeaten records doesnt mean anything in champions league, the atmosphere for this is totally different and napoli is quite a team that could make some surprising moment so keep up some hopes that napoli might be the team that will end their unbeaten streak in the champions league

Lol.  So much wrong in your thinking.  An unbeaten run shows how in form your team is.  That means a whole lot in Football.  Real are gonna eat Napoli up.
11345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 14, 2016, 06:06:46 AM
Two favourites lose their game, alright some people do expect everton to win instead of arsenal however most people certainly dont expect leicester to lose to bournemouth atleast not after they won 4-2 against manchester city, this is pretty sad as people thought that they are going to win the game easily

I don't think Leicester was the favorite in that fixture.  Looking at the odds comparison right now, they are a slight underdog vs Bournemouth, away.  Them winning vs Man City at home was just one of those things in Football.  It happens and it should not affect the stats of winning or losing during the next game.

It is normal that people choose leicester over bournemouth for this game. The first reason is they won against manchester city, did a comeback in fact and the second would be that they were the winner for last season, third would be that they are getting much better recently so I dont see why someone wouldnt choose leicester

Sure the crowd would choose Leicester because 1) They already have the Man City win anchored in their heads.  2) The majority don't really think when they try to choose which team to back.  They usually just pick the 'favorite', the odds makers have a different idea though.  3) Like most of us, they are just losers in making sports bets and they're mostly doing this for the fun of it.

But that doesn't mean they are right.  The odds shows that Leicester wasn't the clear favorite like what you're trying to imply.  Sometimes we tend to post without really thinking it through because reasons...

11349  Economy / Services / Re: FORTUNEJACK - Earn up to 0.2BTC - NEW Signature Campaign - Weekly Payments on: December 14, 2016, 02:28:47 AM
IMPORTANT: 25 Posts out of 30 MUST BE MADE IN GAMBLING TOPIC (Any Thread), otherwise payments will not be made. Posts made in Games & Rounds will not count towards Gambling Topic activity requirement. Please read Post Count and Additional Terms Carefully.

I appreciate you've relaunched your campaign and are going to take a more active role in running it but what's going to change if this is still the requirement? It's largely because of this rule why the Gambling Discussion sub was created in the first place because the main board was being swamped and spammed to death with mostly FortuneJack members just talking about anything vaguely gambling or sports related as people were creating threads to talk about every single league of football in the world or stupid threads like is gambling good, can you win money with gambling and is gambling good for kids etc.

Are you still going to count posts like this:

Total goals option is looking more convenient for AS Roma vs AC Milan tonight. It is offering an odd which has rates at limit @1.53 for this kind of option with 3 goals at least. There will be recorded some good number of goals, The final result for this match can go in either side's favor. I see an equal opportunity based on same chances for both teams.

I will take both matches to make a bet to well balanced option which really to bring me nice profit in return. Fiorentina vs Sassuolo both teams to score yes and next match between As Roma and Ac Milan both teams to score yes as well. I don't think under 2.5 goals is good move on this match. There will be over 2.5 goals to make it result oriented game.

AS Roma still much strong than AC Milan while it will host this match so AS Roma have pretty good chance to take advantage of home ground, I will take AS Roma straight for this fight as I think this will get tough and AS Roma can handle the pressure during match and will get 3 points today.

for match AS Roma vs AC Milan and i know during playing for home matches Roma is pretty strong this season but Milan i think is not weak so i don't think this is will be easy match for home team but rather than pick home or away teams i think both teams to score is good

AC milan is quite bad in away games and AS roma is one of the toughest team to beat at home so only with this comparison you can tell that the winner is going to be as roma however most likely that both team will score in this match so getting both team to score might be a good choice as well instead of AS roma moneyline

Because I think that's all people will continue to do otherwise and nothing will change with this campaign.

Also, please make sure you've read the Signature Guidelines thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0

Each post has to be valuable for the community. Spam and any type of sports prediction posts are restricted in this campaign. As for now, we have made a decision to decrease the number of posts by 5. So, there will be 20 posts in gambling section and 10 in other threads that the members have to make each week.

As I said before, I will control the quality of posts personally and will act according to our terms.

You got it all wrong.  Spam can't be restricted by banning your campaigners from posting in any sports betting prediction thread.  Now they will start the dumbest threads like the 'Is gambling a sin?' thread and spam there.  The best way to maintain your campaign is to actively check each post of your applicants and see what they bring to the forum.  With the price you're willing to pay, you can demand more from your applicants and get to choose only the ones who make constructive and intelligent posts.

The best way is to start recruiting 10 members for the first two weeks and actively check and know your participants more through the posts they make.  You could then add another 10 if you think the first batch is already good enough.

I usually could smell a spammer who's just trying to reach his weekly post quota a mile away.  It's really easy.  All you have to do is actually read their posts.  Want proof?  Suggest me an applicant in this thread right now, I'll read his posts and tell you if he's just here to spam for the money or not.

Attention hilariousandco.  Here are the suggested threads that are potentially dumb and made for spamming.  Lock at your own discretion.

If you were rich, would you still gamble?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1408235.0

I mean really?  What kind of a question is that?  And what is it really trying to achieve.

Is their any safe methods to gamble?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1232896.0

Just laughable.  The thread starter probably took a while to come up with that one.

Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1177050.0

It's a fine topic.  But not something that should reach 41 pages of spam.

do you can control your self when playing gambling?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1595920.0

This could be a good psychology topic for gambling.  But the thread starter is suspect.  Looks like a farmed account that started a thread for other farmed accounts to join in.

How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1249010.0

Another topic that shouldn't reach 50 pages of mostly spam.

Can I use my small amount for GAMBLING?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1576153.0

The thread starter's thought process:  'Another day, another thread.'

What would the Casino of your dreams look like?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1711940.0

Arguably could be placed in the Off Topic sub.  But the premise is overall not really good.  But good for all sorts of spam.

Dice Games Are So Much Fun
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1546143.0

Yay for you, OP!  Yup, they are so much fun.  There's no need to start a thread about it and invite all sorts of spam though.

If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517188.0

No sh*t, Sherlock.  Oh wait...  the thread reached 43 pages!

Putting money in lottery is gambling too?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1568660.0

Le sigh.

This is just the first page of the Gambling Discussion sub.  Will follow up with more this week.

To my campaign manager, Boxx, you don't have to pay me for this post if you think it doesn't serve the needs of BitDice.

Nooo please.  Many of us love to discuss our favorite sports and our bets.

I bet you do. Plenty of gambling/sports forums to do that though.

Here's a tip.  The threads where the spammers are likely to flock into are the less popular sports and leagues threads.

They're not. They post in the popular threads like football which seemingly has a thread for half the leagues in the world and they're easily abused as evidenced by all those FortuneJack spammers belonging to one person that were posting the same shit just reworded slightly post after post day after day going on for months.

Edit:  Maybe it's a good idea to rename the Gambling Discussion section to 'Betting Discussion', to get rid and avoid dumb threads like these:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1711623.0

I think renaming it 'Trash' would be even better. I wouldn't mind if people were actually having some worthwhile discussion in there but it's largely just illiterate spammers looking to easily get away with hitting their post requirement to the max. Just report nonsense threads like that one and they'll either be locked or trashed (as that one now is). That sub could do with a clean-up to be honest.

In my defense I think I was doing well delivering good content and have made decent discussions in all the sports betting related threads I posted in.

Edit:  And yes I would love to help out cleaning that sub.  I will report more threads here or through your PM, whichever you want.
11352  Economy / Gambling / Re: any PvP Bitcoin poker site? on: December 13, 2016, 10:12:10 AM
Bitcoin poker sites all have low traffic so it's better to play at a site that plays in fiat but accepts Bitcoin deposits.  I recommend America's Card Room.  The traffic is ok, the software is decent, but the rake is kinda high.  Be sure to get some rake back deal when you sign up.
11353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 13, 2016, 09:56:26 AM
Bournemouth - Leicester both teams to score yes @1.60 is good option and that is my pick as well. Leicester at home has won last game totally the way no one was waiting of. Bournemouth at home is capable to show Leicester dust. That is for total goals which I am not interested about. They will score goals in this match that is enough win for me.

Please quit spamming the thread.  You have already been marked by Lauda.

Check this post history out https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=432902;sa=showPosts

I mean really?  He follows all the sports from Cricket to Basketball and all the leagues in Football?  He's clearly making things up and trying to pretend he follows all those sports.  Can't a mod or someone tell the campaign manager to control their campaigners and tell them to quit spamming?

The vast majority of FortuneJack users post like that because of their campaign terms:

Minimum Posts: Minimum 30 Posts per Week. IMPORTANT: 25 Posts out of 30 MUST BE MADE IN GAMBLING TOPIC (Any Thread), otherwise payments will not be made. Posts made in Games & Rounds will not count towards Gambling Topic activity requirement

It's quite obvious that there's a handful of users with multiple accounts just spewing out this rubbish one after the other in those sorts of threads. I asked cyrus to look into it a while back but never got a response. I'm starting to feel like we should have never created that Gambling Discussion sub in the first place and just locked/trashed everything that wasn't directly about bitcoin gambling because all those Sports Discussion threads are there 100% because of sig spammers, especially with the campaigns that made it mandatory that x amount of posts need to be in the Gambling section.

edit: Here's one list of alleged alts all on ~FortuneJack: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1540287

Nooo please.  Many of us love to discuss our favorite sports and our bets.  It's just some of the campaign managers aren't doing a good job running their campaigns.  FJ is a good example of that.

Here's a tip.  The threads where the spammers are likely to flock into are the less popular sports and leagues threads.  When you see someone make a thread on Curling and see that it's so active.  Chances are, those people are most likely spammers.

11355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Sports Betting Prediction Thread on: December 13, 2016, 04:54:20 AM
For this week's mid week fixtures I bet on Bournemouth vs Leicester over 2.5 goals at 1.81.  With Jamie Vardy looking on continuing his new found form, I think Bournemouth is the perfect match up for LCFC as they may be easier to play against compared to Man City.  Bournemouth isn't shy on firing and taking shots too.  So it's an easy bet.

For my second bet it's Stoke vs Southampton, Stoke to win +0 at 2.30.  I'm not really confident with this one but I'm going with my gut with it.  I think Stoke played well vs Arsenal (considering...) and I especially liked Joe Allen in that match.  Against Southampton, at home in front of the Stoke fans, I'd expect Stoke to win 1 - 0.  If it's a draw, I'll take that too and my money back.  Wink
11356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 13, 2016, 04:42:15 AM
About Man United game, even tho Mkhitaryan was the motm, but still my fav player Carrick did a great job. Every time he playing in this season, Man United is unbeatable.

If only he was 5 years younger...  I think they'll offer him a year more to play for United until Mourinho finds a good replacement for him.  Who do you think is good to replace Carrick?

Maybe Mourinho's intent for Pogba was to play that role.  Didn't he position Pogba where Carrick is positioned in the recent games?  Do you think Pogba could mature and play the CM role?
I guess Mou would add another new player to be Carrick successor.

Who?  If it were up to you who could fill that role?  Carrick plays simple and direct most of the time minus the Kante-like energy and ball recovery.  I think Gueye could make a good fit for the role if Mourinho intends to put Pogba side by side with him since Pogba is mostly attacking minded.
11357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: December 13, 2016, 04:16:16 AM
Dont underestimate arsenal, they are now much  better then they used to be and bayern munich is no longer having pep as their coach so things will change. Arsenal might win with a split of hair against bayern munich , we wont know the result  because arsenal is quite good in their home game this season

Yup.  And let's also point out that Bayern Munich under Ancelloti will be a far cry from the Jupp Heynckes era.  Pep himself wasn't able to replicate it.  This will not be a Bayern that has so dominated the Bundesliga for so long and has reached the CL quarters easily.  With the emergence of RB Leipzig, I think they would have to dig deep and think how uncertain their number one position is in the league.

Out of three draws vs Bayern in 5 years, I like their chances to go through the KO stage this year.  But one advantage Bayern has over Arsenal is the winter break.  The EPL has none.
11358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Speculation Thread (Charts and Analysis Included ;)) on: December 13, 2016, 04:01:51 AM
It may sound contradictory to you but it's really not.  I refuse to believe that people in general can make perfect predictions in the market for a different reason, not the EMH reason which assumes everyone participating in the market is rational.

The reason why I don't believe people can't predict the market is because, who can?  But does that mean I shouldn't follow the price of something to make a trade?  Should I trade blind by just buying and then holding?  Of course not.  My belief is psychology plays a role in the market and that is reflected on the price.
