11361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shift - Bitcoin Visa Card - now available in the US on: November 21, 2015, 07:20:59 AM
Too bad it's not worldwide , they could get a lot of customers because they are known already and not like Bit-x & E-coin.io for example .
Still , it's pretty good I suppose since I remember that E-coin don't ship to USA for example and you have to reship to someone so he ship it back to you , so that's a good thing . Hopefully we will see more good news in the upcoming days .
11362  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum limit for buying BTC on: November 20, 2015, 03:43:47 PM
Do you ppl have some kinda minimum limit for buying bitcoins? I mean for currency.

If I understood you right , you want to know if we have some limits that we shouldn't pass while buying bitcoin ?
I personally don't buy them and all of them are profit from different things (services , sig campaigns , etc ...) so I'd say Ihave no limit , the more the better because if Bitcoin become used by more and more people over the years , it will worth more and owning at least 1 BTC at that time will be more then good .
11363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Installing Bticoincore in Debain on: November 20, 2015, 03:03:04 PM
If i remember correctly, last time i used add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin

Worked perfectly...

I guess that's for Ubuntu and not for other linux versions .

@OP , the post was made one week ago so It should be functional today I don't think it got outdated within one week lol ... So you should tell us the errors you are getting because "not working" doesn't help much .
11364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: November 20, 2015, 01:59:06 PM
I'm not sure how things goes in your country , but in mine you can talk how much you want ... that's not going to change anything at all . All they trust is physical cash in their hands (that's in general) .
Now if we speak about my family , they will probably won't ignore you and hear you talking but that's not going to change anything and for what comes to friends they may only get interested but it won't be enough to make them use it so yeah it's mostly waste of time .
11365  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitAppsEU - Bitcoin Appstore taken seriously on: November 20, 2015, 01:53:13 PM
Wasn't you working with Coinbuddy or something ? I'm pretty I saw this website before with the similar design but another domain extension (I suppose .com)
The idea is pretty good , however it need some advertisement (ads or signature campaigns) so people start using it , If you don't mind .. please make the the developers page functional , this may you help you get funded by linking the developers to their Bitcointalk's profile (it would help so much if those members are high ranked and trusted on the community) .
11366  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for web developer on: November 20, 2015, 01:34:13 PM
Try Us!

I already checked the website and most of the users who have some skills in .NET for Web have no reviews and I wouldn't really use them , beside I prefer someone from the forums , otherwise I could find someone somewhere else.

I've developed many apps in php/mysql in the past, so i know i'm not eligible for your request (since you requested to use ASP.NET C#), i do feel the need to share a tip:

Every time (litteraly) i heared an employer say things like "i'm going to write the specs while you are developing" there was some discussion or bad feelings after the job was done.
It's impossible to make a correct quote for a project if you don't know all the specs.
Also, this kind of project planning tends to generate bad code and a bad database structure (because the code needs to be patched, tables need to be changed after the initial design,...)

Really, i cannot stress this enough: think about all aspects of your project before you ask for a quote, and give all the specs of your project to your developer before he starts making a quote. If you fail to do this, you might end up with an inefficient tool, and with a malcontent developer.

I know all you mentioned , I didn't feel that I should give more information's since I already said it should be a copy of gameminer.net and someone who who can built that , can probably add "couple of things" that I have in mind , thanks for your advice though , appreciate it .

Best place to exchange btc for euro to debit card?

I want to exchange my bitcoins for euros and then send it to my credit card
what is the best exchange for that?

E-coin.io should be a pretty good choice , they offer Debit card [Visa] for their users (USD , GBP or Euro) . You can order one and then simply put the bitcoins inside the card and cash-out as you like from ATM.
I have a debit card,so they can cashout to my debit card easily and safe?

"a" debit card or E-coin debit card ?If it's E-coin's one then you are good to go as I said .
You have to deposit into your E-coin account some BTC , once the transaction get six confirmation's , your account will get loaded with the money then ... you will go to "LOAD Card" tab and choose the amount that you want to transfer to the Visa card to then use it online or ATM or whatever you want to do .

11370  Other / Politics & Society / Re: is ISIS really using Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2015, 07:40:41 PM
Yes , they are also using cars and planes and fiat and things that other people use but that doesn't mean anything . Does it ? the problem is the media who are trying (for one reason or another) to show people that Bitcoin is only for Blackhat hackers , Criminals and terrorists .
11371  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: PAYPAL to BITCOIN on: November 18, 2015, 06:49:35 PM
Hi

have 300€ paypal Veri. and search somebody to me in Bitcoin Exchangen is able

Greetz

You won't find anyone willing to do this deal with you because you are a Newbie and you don't have any trust history , and most of all Escrow won't help at all since Paypal is reversible and bitcoin is not .
If you really want to buy using Paypal , then Virwox.com is your best choice . (Fees are little bit high though)

11373  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for web developer on: November 18, 2015, 05:32:43 PM
Pricing your wanting to spend on the website?
Also what features are you ultimately looking for.

I'm not sure honestly , looking to see people offer and think about it .
for the features , I'm pretty sure I will get the ideas while the developer is working on the project so that shouldn't be a problem .

Does it have to be ASP.NET C#? I would be interested if you're willing to consider a different non-PHP option.

I really want it on ASP.NET C# because I have knowledge on this programming language , and I don't want someone to make something that I don't actually understand and simply run it .

What the ...I hope you posted the wrong link because I'm not really sure where is the "inspiring" part from all this , I was literally going to puke at some point and I can't seem to understand why people was filming that on the first place , can't they just leave him doing the nature call :p

11375  Economy / Economics / Re: I just made my 4th BTC on: November 17, 2015, 05:55:03 PM
If you have 4 btc than you can easily earn more than 10$ per day doing day trading. I suggest you to start day trading.

It's just that I'm not that good at trading (at least not with the exchanges used these days) , also I'm really against all what exchanges are doing (asking for personal information's such ID & passport etc... ) this for me defeats the whole purpose of using bitcoin in the first place;
11376  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are some high valued bitcoin related websites? on: November 17, 2015, 07:12:09 AM

that's because the traffic the website is getting and nothing else , I'm not sure if it's right or not but I heard that the domain "Bitcoin.com" is worth one million dollar , so it's far away from 80k USD but still ... Bitcointalk should worth more then that .
11377  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: New Electrum user - deposit sitting on blockchain, won't go to wallet? on: November 16, 2015, 06:03:31 PM
Operating system (and its version) + the version of Electrum wallet used ? (also give the information's that RustyNomad asked)

I didn't know if that was safe or not.

Mac 10.8.5, Electrum 2.5.4

Address : 1JQaKnNi6R6B75e3RWPBtqAbiEgCr5ByJM
TxID : deb41861d7c1e6b898fea97c990b3b4cda002ccbe9a66904bc7f7ad1d68a238

Thank you!

The transaction already has 20 confirmation so it should have shown up in your wallet long ago. You sure the address is 100% correct i.e. the address you posted above, is it in your wallet? If so then the funds should be there.

I can only post once every 5 doggone minutes. :-(

I know it should have, I'm new to Electrum but I've been transferring btc for a year and it seemed pretty straightforward.

I absolutely see 1JQaKnNi6R6B75e3RWPBtqAbiEgCr5ByJM as the 2nd of about 15 default receiving addresses listed in my Electrum default wallet above the Change addresses.

Then it wouldn't make a lot of sense , if RustyNomad suggestion above don't work you either .
You can try to Unistall Electrum (deleting electrum's AppData folder as-well) and Install it once again , if that don 't work , try to use it on another PC (restore it on another PC using the seed you had as a backup when you first made the wallet) .

11379  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Are there any plans to release Core 0.10.4? on: November 16, 2015, 05:43:03 PM
Probably not ? It wouldn't make a lot of sense to go back instead of going forward , would it ?
11380  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for web developer on: November 16, 2015, 05:36:23 PM
Still looking for someone who can do this , and note that the design need to be unique and not a copy of gameminer.net so you will need some skills on HTML & CSS and design little bit .
