11381  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 14, 2016, 10:03:30 AM
If you want to make sure your money is almost the same if you want to safe it use gold because gold wont get a lower value of it and bitcoins can drop to even less than 1 dollar each so make the right choice.

What makes you so sure about it? Gold price has dropped 27% since 2012. The price of Bitcoin has increased 5000% in the same period of time. So I wouldn't state that it's obvious that gold is a better investment than Bitcoin. We can't ignore the numbers and just state something just for hell of it if we are discussing economy, right?
11382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 14, 2016, 09:03:10 AM
What is to be rich in the first place? Most people in the world do not have enough food and even water to drink so I guess everybody on this forum is rich compared to them.

Yes, I would still gamble because I never saw gambling as a way to increase my earnings, on the contrary I lose a small part of my earnings because of gambling. So, yes, if I was rich and thus could afford losing more I would gamble even a bit more.
11383  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: September 14, 2016, 08:57:02 AM
Blue_Tiger73 posted as to what you would do if you gained 1,000,000 bitcoin ( Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ). Now i am asking you guys. How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000, bitcoin through any reason (  Angry Angry Angry )? And how would you maximise the chances of this never happening?

DOGE12321

To maximise the chances of this never happening is easy, I'm pretty sure I will never have such amount or even anything close so the chances I will lose 10k BTC are very close to zero. But if you ask me how would I react in case of losing 10k BTC, well, I really hope that I would have the strength to move on.
11384  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me best trustworthy dice betting sites on: September 13, 2016, 11:25:44 AM
I think fastdice is a pretty decent dice betting site. The bets go fast, the faucet can be claimed every 3 minutes and it's 1000 Satoshi and sometimes they give you even more, like 3333 or 6666 satoshi(not many dice sites give you that much). The only thing I miss there is an active chat. They do have chat there but usually there are less than 10 posts in 5 hours. But if you are there for betting not for chatting the site is pretty good IMO.
11385  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Made this for solo miners on: September 13, 2016, 10:04:26 AM
Work in progress but just a little fun thing I made.

http://solochance.com

Looks like a nice site but I don't get this "chance every 10 minutes" thing. No matter what Hash Rate you enter you always get this "chance every 10 minutes" notice. I know it's technically true but I can't call it a useful information because to me it sounds like "every minute you have a chance to die". I think much more useful is a statement like this "in the next 200 years you will die for sure".

But thanks anyway for trying to do something helpful and free for people. Good job!
11386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do users use your affiliate signature campaign? on: September 13, 2016, 09:40:25 AM
I see sigs  here and I wondered if it converts actually?
If it does how much money you did by far ?
How many play from your affiliate link?

They are not affiliate links actually, but it's ok I thought at first like you too. They are basically ads for which payment is received once per week or once per month.

From my experience people hate affiliate links that's why it's not effective to use them.
11387  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: I will fund anyone with 110.000 Satoshi who can copy Bitcoin address. on: September 13, 2016, 09:17:03 AM
I can confirm, the 110.000 Satoshi  were on my balance on the site. I played several times, won a bit more and withdrawed. All went quickly and smoothly.
11388  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 13, 2016, 08:58:24 AM
I will make that 10 bitcoins growth by invest it and deposit it into trading and gambling. I'm sure i can grow that 10 bitcoins and i will give you back 10 bitcoins when i success.

With 10 bitcoin I'd think I'd play it safe and store 8. While 8 are stored and growing in value I'd have 2 left to play with. With the remaining 2 I would probably start trading and growing that. Whenever the 2 reaches 4 from trading I'd bank 2 again and repeat the cycle. If i'd lose the 2 then I'd stop trading. Need to set limits for yourself.
For me it is good to put it into trading and avoid gambling because it much profitable the trading method than gambling most of the time you will lose and you will be greedy to get your money and you are continue loosing in gambling.

Isn't trading the same thing as gambling?:

1. The more profit you want to have the more you should risk for that.

2. You never know what outcome will be, no one can tell you with 100% certainty about the near future of any altcoin.
11389  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 13, 2016, 08:51:17 AM
I was thinking of putting together a project and this brought it to mind.  It would be Bitcoin insurance.  Basically a wallet that is fed from your pay or however, but on a regular basis.  The company that creates the insurance holds the private keys and that keep people from hitting their wallets every time they see a new toy out there.

This could be bad at start. How will you gain their trust first. You need a lot of spending before they would trust you. What else is bad here. You hold the private keys so a mess could possibly happen if you are the one hacked. They cant even do a thing.
That business would not work, and you cannot just sell that when you are in desperate need of money, you better take a loan in the bank and you get all your properties as your collateral so you can avail.
You can loan in the bank if you have a stable work but if you dont have any work you can not take a loan..
If you desperate you can only get or borrow money  in your family..

I think it is better to borrow fiat with the collateral as bitcoin. You can make profits in the long term as the bitcoin price will rise.

Although I think that Bticoin price will rise so I agree with you here, I wouldn't recommend to borrow money anyway. This happened many times to my friends so I want to share it here: When you borrow money to buy something you end up having a thing that you don't actually need and a debt you have to pay.
11390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 13, 2016, 08:42:06 AM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

It's not so easy to answer this question. If it was possible to know for sure where to invest, life would become much easier for many people. It's good you already know that cloud mining is a scam because unfortunately that's not a fact for some people and they are losing their money investing in cloud mining.

IMO one of the best investments is buying a good computer so you can design logos, create promo posters and such and make money this way. What's good in this approach IMO is that in this case you are counting on yourself and no one else.
11391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: September 13, 2016, 08:25:23 AM
We all know that house always wins ... Well, not always. The site could be hacked or one guy could have incredible luck one day and the house will lose. But generally yes, the house wins. Which doesn't mean you will definitely lose because you can be that lucky guy.  Smiley
But I wouldn't count on that and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to count on that. If you want to make money with gambling you will lose even if the house edge was 0%. That's my opinion.
11392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be pumped-and-dumped? on: September 13, 2016, 07:43:16 AM
I often see this in the altcoin world since their market cap is pretty low or nonexistent altogether.

But what about Bitcoin?

I think pumping and dumpimg of Bitcoin becomes more difficult to do with time. The more people are using Bitcoin the more of those who will "dump early" in case of pumping or will start buying in case of dumping.
11393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2016, 07:41:06 AM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?

You should never look for easy cash because that way of thinking leads to losing. If you are neither a thief from the government nor a relative of such a thief you'll be earning your money the hard way, and that way only.

You should have some skills people are interested in and you should work hard applying those skills.
11394  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: September 12, 2016, 07:29:14 AM
How to earn money with bitcoin ?

There are several ways:

1. You can just buy Bitcoin and hold it until the price increases to the level which you consider sufficient to profit from selling. (HINT: Do not sell in case the price goes down, just wait a bit, you'll be fine).

2. You can do some services: photoshop, coding, promoting etc. and earn Bitcoins this way.

3. You can trade (which I don't recommend) and you can gamble (which I recommend even less than trading).

4. You can invest in a Cloud mining (which with 99% certainty will make you lose your money or at least part of it, so I don't recommend this either).

...

The list above is not full of course but those are ways which generally come to mind.
11395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GEOCACHE in Iceland FREE money to the first one there!! on: September 12, 2016, 07:05:15 AM
What a great thread! Unfortunately I'm late for unswering the today's question as I see  Smiley because indeed Oscar Arnold Wergeland is the right answer and here's the picture

But I'll try to participate next time. Good luck all! Good job, OP!
11396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can i start a btc dice site with 30btc? on: September 12, 2016, 06:49:52 AM
I will like to know if i can start up a casino dice site with 30btc including bankroll.
Am looking at a site with a max profit of like 1btc.
If yes, how?
If no, how much btc do I need.
Only reply if u got ideas about this.
No trolls

IMO 30 BTC is not enough to start a dice site because you'll need around 20 BTC only for scripting the site. But if you already have the script or if you can do it by yourself then you can spend your 30 BTC on promoting and maintaining and this amount will be sufficient to run the site for several months.
11397  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: September 12, 2016, 06:36:45 AM
It's much easier to pay with BTC. You also can spend sums even under $0.001, which is a great feature. I only wish it was more popular.

can you at least explain why you think it's much easier to pay with bitcoin? here where i live in the netherlands it's definitely not the case. i can buy things instantly without any effort with fiat. people also see and know that.

I think Bitcoin is the best way of payment if we are talking about small payments. It's almost impossible to pay to someone abroad say $2 or $3 with fiat, right? With Bitcoin it's easy. And I think this advantage of Bitcoin will be used more in the future especially in cases of selling or buying digital goods.
11398  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: September 11, 2016, 12:17:45 PM
bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here

That depends on how much time you really spend in front of the computer. I think spending more than 10 hours per day is very unhealthy and no money can buy you health afterwards. That's good that you can earn Bitcoins using your skills but please give attention to your health also, btw doing so you will be working more effectively.
11399  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 11, 2016, 12:08:48 PM
My prediction about Bitcoin is that somebody would finally fund Bitcoin ATM which unlocks a lot of doors for us. You can easily withdraw your Bitcoins, in that note, you can also buy something easily. Having a Bitcoin ATM will attract a lot more users. More users means more investors in bitcoin, we can even get a new group of whales because of that. More investors means there will be scarcity in Bitcoin. Scarcity means increase of value in Bitcoin. Smiley

There are lots of them exist already. Take a look at this map:

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-atm-map/

But I agree that we need much  more of them in the future. We need dozens of them in big cities and at least one in a small town. Only then we can state that Bitcoin is fully adopted.
11400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 11, 2016, 10:44:07 AM
Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?

No it can not. I am very doubt bitcoin or any alternative coin can help a poor country in the financial aspect. Bitcoin and alternative coin only is a currency in online as we can said Cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin can help poor countries and also the poor people as there are many of them who don't even have bank accounts, in that case bitcoin can take best care of them.

Exactly, as I was saying earlier, most of the poor people never even had a credit card. That's why Bitcoin is a good option to get payments for your job in the Internet and not only in the Internet.
