1141  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Abe 0.7: Open Source Block Explorer Knockoff on: March 13, 2014, 10:46:31 PM
Hi, I'm trying to setup GrowthCoin block explorer.

This is what I get

Code:
root@grw:~/bitcoin-abe# python -m Abe.abe --config /home/abe/abe-mysql.conf --commit-bytes 100000 --no-serve
Opened /root/.GrowthCoin/blk0001.dat
Chain not found for magic number a5efdbfd in block file /root/.GrowthCoin/blk0001.dat at offset 0.

But we can clearly see the firt byte from

Code:
hexdump -n 300 -C /root/.GrowthCoin/blk0001.dat

are correct!

1142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Closed BETA started! The only one secure iOS Bitcoin wallet that really works. on: March 13, 2014, 10:17:54 PM
You see, it's generally accepted that newbies that just registered and posted their applications usually means a wallet stealer(or possible keylogger). It could also be a wallet indeed, but with a weak PRNG for privkeys. Do you see what I mean?

Also, I am an Android user Wink

Hmm, smells like a scam.
1144  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anime is weird made for weirdos on: March 13, 2014, 09:51:31 PM
The whole kawaii culture sux IMO, and the anime characters you find annoying are called "moe" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe_(slang)

I like anime, but only of a certain type, like Berserk, Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Bebop.

those are some top notch anime's, you took me back haha. I LOVE Berserk and Cowboy Bebop. You also forgot Trigun ! Aaah those were the days  Smiley

If you enjoyed CowBoy bebop, definitely checkout Wolf's Rain it's highly underrated but made from the same creator of cowboy bebop.

I certainly do miss the art style of the older anime (90's to mid 2000's), for some reason i feel today's anime are heavily reliant on CGI and lack distinctive art style. The writing also used to be  much deeper.
Then check out the Berserk Manga, it continued much after the anime and the anime's ending is a filler.

Those two transactions seem to be duplicates of previous txes.

Game release date has come and gone, still no key. Seller has been PM'ed with no response. I'll give him a few more days to refund me or send me the key, but in the meantime looks like I got scammed.  Undecided
You got scammed alright, which is why you always ask for the key first.
1151  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. WTF? on: March 13, 2014, 03:29:56 AM
It's been a couple of days, no doubt people drowned. Also, there is irreversible damage to skin after 24 or more hours exposed to water. Then we have the sharks(not sure if they roam those areas but my guess is they do).

Hmm, and here I am with 25 tabs of Manga.

Please, step in my concentration camp.

Pics for 3BTC? I can find live video of hotties for 0.001 per minute.
1156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tha hell is a GIF? on: March 12, 2014, 11:09:03 PM
Why would it be pronounced jif?
The creator himself said that he intended for it to be pronounced "jiff". I personally say GIF.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between Dogecoin and the Bit Coin on: March 12, 2014, 03:21:58 PM
Well, the difference is...there is no difference. Dogecoin shares the codebase that some other altcoin shares with Bitcoin.

Also, please stop writing it as "the Bit Coin" there is no "the" and it's spelled as "Bitcoin" one capital letter and one word. You've been a member for 2 years and you still don't know this? Not sure if I should facepalm at this or show you the logout link.

Wait a minute, isn't Team Fortress 2 a free to play game for quite a while now?
1159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.998 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 12, 2014, 02:33:44 PM
After some serious thinking I decided not to buy the S1. I'd pay 1.40BTC(this is roughly for VAT,PSU,any other fees) to get back 1.40 after 5 months.
Hello brother. Unless your electricity is very expensive I think you will make that 1.4 BTC with your Antminer in about 3 months max. I use about $16 a month running 1 Antminer overclocked at $.10  KWH.
Now the real issue as after that 3 month mark how much profit will you make with the Antminer until it does not make enough to pay for it's own electricity. AT that point it is worthless.
My electricity is a bit more expensive, $0.14-0.15 per kW. And in the future I might have moved to a location where it's even higher.

I don't understand why the build planes where you can TURN OFF important equipment like transponders http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/malaysia-aircraft-mystery-may-hinge-on-unidentified-radar-path/2014/03/12/334edf74-a9d2-11e3-8599-ce7295b6851c_story.html
