How are doge blocks verified? Doesn't seem like the last four blocks are moving at all when it comes to the verifications. I thought it went by network blocks?
Looks like the 2 I found this hour are being confirmed, unless I missed something. there was a "split" in the doge chain. You needed to update to the new client to see the new blocks. But on DogeCoin.com it shows the last block being 44670 but the pool says we are now working on block 42379. The ONLY time the confirmations move are when WE solve a block, its like we are on our own chain. I'm far from an expert with this stuff but it looks like we are wasting our time/hashing power right now?

Yeah something is wrong...
Pool says the block we just solved 10 minutes ago is #42378 yet there are 44666 total blocks right now???

Hmm, just got 1/3 of what I normally get for the last 3 1/2 hour round ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) 21354 2014-01-02 23:26:52 3:24:18 1691667467 89034 0.00111131 278327 25.06796498 99 confirmations left 21353 2014-01-02 20:02:34 0:14:13 115496138 14836 0.00314417 278309 25.13391464 81 confirmations left 21352 2014-01-02 19:48:21 6:47:55 3295892282 416987 0.00310170 278308 25.05689020 80 confirmations left 21351 2014-01-02 13:00:26 2:12:35 1054661872 133515 0.00314380 278274 25.00781000 46 confirmations left 21350 2014-01-02 10:47:51 1:21:35 642031676 85019 0.00336521 278264 25.09772918 36 confirmations left

Yeah my total reward hasn't increased even though we have gotten 3-4 more blocks
|
|
|
Damn whats with all the pool hoppers jumping to ours? I liked my .004 a round, now its been lowered under .003
|
|
|
Can someone explain something to me...
My ASIC blade #7 is saying its hashing at 10800 , yet Blade #1 is saying 10700. Now on the my account tab it says Blade #7 only has 1992 shares and is hashing at 6700, and Blade #1 has 3006 shares and is at 10500
What Gives?

This is BAD. Plus my share per round has gone from .0028 to .0020 with the pool growing. BOO
Your share of the reward per round has dropped with an increase in the pool hashrate, but you can expect more rounds per unit time. Your expected reward per day is unaffected by pool size, only by your hashrate and the network difficulty. in the current situation I've gone from nearly .035 a day to .01 a day! LOL

I have 5 barely used ASIC 10.7 GH/s v2 mining blades. These were around .8 BTC each so I will price them accordingly. I want $500 each blade. I also have the backplane and Powersupply. Seperately I would like $250 for both or If you buy all 5 blades they are yours for $50 extra So $2550 shipped for 5 x V2 Blades with the Backplane and Power Supply. I can ship these ASAP via USPS. So I can have them in your hands within a few days. As for how used they are. They were running for 2 weeks with a box fan blowing on them constantly, they were cool to the touch even while running. The reason I am getting out of this is because I am becoming too obsessed with this and I need to stop wasting so much time. LOL ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

Ok cool. Thanks for all the responses, I really appreciate it.
I just want to repeat though that Im really confused why this would happen and I'm actually afraid right now. I didn't move or touch the blades, I just used the reset jumper on the backplane! I've got $2000+ of these blades running and now I'm afraid more will fry for no reason like these did.

What do the fuses look like when they fry? I cannot see into them so for all I know it might be fried.

Here is the one that smells with the visible burnt component (middle right side) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimageshack.us%2Fa%2Fimg27%2F9685%2Fkum6.jpg&t=663&c=o_oGSJV_OtEFig) Here is the one that will not turn on just like the previous one. But I cannot find any visible defects. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimageshack.us%2Fa%2Fimg23%2F9409%2Fih83.jpg&t=663&c=TyKL1yNzaS8wQA)

So I have 7 blades running in the standard back plane with the standard power supply.....So I blew a fuse (house earlier today). I removed the reset jumped so it would stay off and flipped the breaker. I waited a few hours and when I put the reset jumper back in position I hear a SNAP which sounded like it came from a spark.
Now I have two blades that do not power on or blink. One of them smells like burned electronics and clearly has a burnt component. The other blade doesn't smell but wont turn on.
What the hell would cause this? Are these things seriously going to fry like this in the standard factory setup?
I will post pictures in a few mintues... Thanks for any help!

Why is it that I make 10-20% more on SHORTER rounds?
because somebody else makes less. But the hash rate or the pool is the same? Are the rewards not assigned based on hashing power?

If it was orphaned, why did I just get BTC from it??? Will they take that back?

Anybody else have this problem with this monster? I was on the whole time, reward should have been .0005ish... just wondering what happened...
I had 251,125 shares for a whopping 0.00189796, which is nearly .001 lower then usual.

Overclocking requires overvolting, which increases power dissipation quite a bit. So, overheating which can lead to roasting the ASICs.
As for overclocking what are you doing? Is it a matter of connecting point A to point B on the board? If so is it in tight quarters? I love DIY, but I suck at soldiering small things that are surrounded by lots of other small things! LOL I'm cooling my 5 blade setup with a box fan, they stay cool to the touch! lol
