1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ASCE] Ascentcoin|Anonymous Transaction | The First Dedicated Academic Service | on: August 12, 2014, 05:00:46 PM
Is the 2.1 wallet download corrupt?

I get windows (on windows7 64bit) cannot access specified device.

Tried downloading three times. Also when unzipping the folder says version 2.0

Use this download link

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhenjmntd3kh3do/Ascentcoin-windows2.1.rar

Same issue. The Ascentcoin-qt will not work and when unzipped the folder says version 2.0

I would honestly mine it knowing it was a scam just because it was funny

I'm loving it. I have 11.5 Mh/s on it now. Been mining since launch. (Using scrypt asics)

Ok, so it isn't gpu friendly anymore, but the greatest scam ever pulled  Grin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721006.0

Had to read their entire OP, first i've ever read all the way through! haha

The thread is hilarious.

I must say. If I do get scammed by this one I will be 100% fine with it.

The devs have an awesome sense of humor.

Safe to say Claymore is done with updates?
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin - Earn while you solve cures for Cancer. True 3.0 crypto on: August 10, 2014, 07:24:32 PM
Can someone tell me where all the hashing is coming from?

I see two pools for sha256 basically with 2.0 Th/s but the network shows 35.7 Th/s.

Are there some private pools or solo mining? Or is that 35.7 Th/s including those folding?
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RIPO] RipoffCoin: The most honest scam you have ever seen on: August 10, 2014, 05:42:20 PM
With all the scams going on, I am honored to be a part of this one. Smiley

That vid was hilarious. Makes me want to waste electricity now my scrypt mining with my gpu's again.

I will definitely be a bag holder.

Still no update about wallet/blockchain issue or have I missed it?
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CC][POS][X11] Official Colorcoin thread - BOUNTY FOR HELP: 3.5Million CC on: August 10, 2014, 04:03:22 PM
People, please open wallet and leave it open Smiley
Going to work on this myself but i do need nodes.

I'm going to collect all your bounties Tongue

Opened.

Coinano.com still has this coin too, just can't trade

Coinano shutting down. I have to remove myself from the bounties as the CC i offered months ago my coins are trapped on Coinano.  If the dev had not been a scammer and fixed his coin or someone else stepped up by now, i would be able to move them, unfortunately once the exchange disappears so will the coins i had put aside for the bounty.

Digit, looks like you had 1,000 in the pot.

I'll cover it.

It was 1M, but as i said its all on Coinano :\

well i will pledge donation of 1,000,000 CC to be paid on release of fixed wallet and source, and confirmed that blockchain is working again.
it wont go to the moon, but a fixed wallet and blockchain moving again could be enough to get out of satoshi hell Cheesy

and potential dev/s please feel free to blacklist any premine the old "dev" might still have stashed.

also incase no one notice one of the exchanges where this is traded already removed a bunch of 0 volume coins and only reason CC is still there is because there it still has some people trading it or at least placing buy orders for it.

Oh I seen this post from HardCore:

Ok stats as off now:

Users donating for a revive

"minerp 150K
stenull 50k
antonio 50k
kimjongun 100k
digit 1000
kikhtr 50k
neleonele 100k
auy 100k
spcrypt 100k

Thats 1,700,000 coin out of 800 million total for the one that revives.
I'll add 300K to make it 2 million!"

I don't have that much to donate. But I'll update my portion to 100k.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PLEB] Plebeian | X13 PoW + PoS | Fair Launch w/ Pools + Now Mining! on: August 10, 2014, 01:45:33 PM
@ ocminer

My post might have got lost in all this.

I put my wallet address on the pool for auto payouts. About 4,000 coins was sent but I have not received them yet. I show transaction id's for all payouts.

Are those coins lost?

EDIT: Is your site down?

No you'll get them as soon as you have updated to the latest wallet from the devs.

I'm currently updating a few things (OpenSSL security fix), site will be back up shortly, stratum is running though, mysql also, so you can continue mining, it will be back up in 10 - 15 mins depending how long the updates need.

Thanks

@ ocminer

Is there an issue with payments and wallet? I show to payments to my wallet but not received yet. Or should we disable payments?

I am missing a good chunck.

the coins you have mined are still unconfirmed. Mine are doing the same thing.. Just waiting on info from dev and trusting that ocminer will make everything ok eventually.

Thanks.

They were in the confirmed so I put my wallet address in finally to send them to me. SuperNova even shows trasnaction id.

Hope we aren't wasting our time.

I just tried to solo also, just found 2 blocks. First block 0 coins. Second block 0.000001 coins.

this sure is scary. my unconfirmed has already dropped from over 30k to 23k already... Sad

I show @ 4,00 coins sent to my wallet with transaction id's for each of the 5 transfers but nothing my wallet and the addresses match correctly.

I have just went ahead and disabled auto payments until this is sorted out.

Everyone this is the link I used: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?libwinpthread-1

I had to reopen the wallet about 5 times before it worked.

fail! No DLL

Seems to be the new theme.

Make you search for it while it is instamined.

Second coin today.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEW FuelCoin - FC2 Re-Distribution x11/pos 2% interest on: August 09, 2014, 04:46:33 PM
New- FC2 received today! 3.8 mil converted to 242k- wow, that's drastic. But, hey- at least we can say our Developers have accomplished the task exactly as they said they would- every step of the way. I like being on-board with this coin.

If you had 3.8 mil old fuelcoins and you only got 242k new f2 then I will not even bother as I only had 34k old fuelcoin and is a waste of time to get this new f2 coin if you can't even mine it.. and it is only pos...

I would get 2200 coins.. lol

Good luck with F2 anyway.

I had 39,450 old FC. Now.........916 FC2

I think I'm getting the hang of this CUDA shit!  Cheesy

Glad to see some more keen devs Smiley
After seeing wolfs multi monitor screen shots its got me wondering, how many screens are we all running? And what size?

As I have said, I am looking to replace my single 50 inch plasma with 4 27 inch monitors. But I have no way to tell just how big they will be without ordering them and seeing for myself. Unless someone else has 4 they don't mind measuring :p

I run 3 19" 1080p monitors off of a 670 in the pic express slot and 3 750ti on powered USB risers. I run all monitors independently. Not really a fan of the surround or whatever they call it.

I also have 2 other rigs on 1 monitor each and the fourth with no monitor.

I just leave the 670 in the slot so I can still do other stuff. I  have  read it is not good to run the main card on risers while doing other things. I just stop mining on the 670 when I am ready to game. Well actually I stopped mining on the 670 due to the heat it puts out.
