1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto Exchange For Altcoins? on: December 16, 2022, 06:03:16 PM
When people say Exchanges like Binance I see lots of confidence in their statements many of them just thinks so long Binance is a big exchange this automatically makes it the best option for them, but the truth they should be more concern about is not how big the exchange is because even big exchanges has had their loss.

I would rather newbies and less experienced people concern themselves more of how decentralized an exchange is and focus more on that. So if you can do your research and find out decentralized exchanges which has list of Altcoins of your choice.

Do anyone still think Messi is a failure in the colors of Argentina, because this would be his sixth final with his native country, although he hasn’t won the World Cup for his country but definitely he has left his heart on the field for Argentina.

It’s not surprising to see all the support he get from his country fans and even fans from all over the world, I this it’s poetic justice if he wins the World Cup finally in what may be his last game at the World Cup.

We don’t know how many government personnel has bought bitcoin yet. But I think it’s correct to think that some of the government personal has bought bitcoin and there was a mayor in US that promotes Bitcoin that’s to say there are some of them who actually believe in Bitcoin.

But still I my opinion the strong rival Bitcoin face now is the government and i understand it’s because of the decentralization of Crypto-currency, I hope the join in the adoption also.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 08:45:49 PM
Well I would be right to say that Morocco are out of the World Cup and I believe they shouldn’t be ashamed of it. This was a very good tournament for them and nobody would have thought they would reach where they have.

Also congratulations to France they are leading two goals against Morocco none. It would make for a very good final between France the defending champions and Argentina who are looking to win it not just for their country but also for Messi.

One of my best advice I can give a new person is that they should not always be scared to express themselves but in doing so they should also consider how positively it would resound in the forum.

Always be curious this has helped me a lot because I want to know more about Crypto-currency. Learn from mistakes for example the FTX drama, you can learn something from it and understand that centralized exchange is not as safe as decentralized exchange.

From the looks of things Messi is on the road to the final of the World Cup. They are currently up against Croatia and are really doing a good job. I must say there isn’t that exceptional players in Argentina apart from Messi but they are a team with strong unity and are playing to the best of their abilities.

I know it’s hard to quickly write Croatia off after we have seen what they can do but in the first half they have really not made much impact and I don’t think they would in the second half.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: December 11, 2022, 08:28:21 PM
In my opinion USDT and USDC are not obviously completely safe, infact you hardly find a complete safe stablecoin now. But I see it as taking the one with the less poison.
Popularity wise I don’t think it gets better than USDT. I don’t know if there has been any complaints in the past about it. Most crypto-currency related services payment are don’t using it, so I would say it’s been the safest to me.
1148  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can a rookie freelancer get jobs? on: December 11, 2022, 07:48:20 PM
Upwork.com would be the place but they are not paying BTC though. You would need Paypal for it.

I have personally tried up work and gotten some works there personally I think it’s slavery. In a Up work getting a job isn’t that easy you up against lots of competitions so you need to have experience to survive and like you said you are a rookie so it would be hard, also upwork are more interested in themselves than their community. You need a coin to apply for jobs and when that is exhausted you have to get more. They take some percentage of the money when ever you get employed. For a rookie freelancer I encourage you to go and learn get online certificate, get recommendations this would help your confidence level and you can be an independent freelancer, promote yourself and your work.
1149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I be an exchanger and is it allowed? on: December 11, 2022, 07:31:12 PM
Well I understand what you mean but I think the language is wrong, you are probably talking about being a crypto-currency vendor.

Well for example just on my contact alone there are lots of Crypto-currency vendors and I think it’s so with many others, it’s a good thing but it fast becoming over populated, but if you are genuine and have good consumer base then it’s really not difficult.
1150  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You can Make 785 + Merits as well in 365 Days on: December 11, 2022, 06:45:32 PM
Congratulations mate. You make it look easy but honestly it’s not easy, I have been seeing your contributions and it takes a passionate user to make such contributions.

I think those who are looking for the light to motivate them can see through your posts, we can say it wasn’t  A bullish year for crypto-currency but in terms of the forum community it was bullish for you. Congratulations once a again.
1151  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 10, 2022, 08:35:46 PM
The Nigerian government are always looking for ways to make life extremely difficult for it citizens the new law the CBN government are prescribing is so ridiculous to me, it makes businesses like Pos goes backwards.

Although I agree that this would help limit the use of cash and may stop kidnappings and stealings also would make finding criminals easier but there lots of disadvantages on it.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Scam History in the Cryptocurrency on: December 10, 2022, 07:51:29 PM
I consider all Ponzi schemes as a big ball of scam, every one of them so if you like me that wants complete security then you would avoid them totally turning deaf to all their BS preaching.

Also I am skeptical about most new projects not that they are all scams but many go to buy shillers, run death trap giveaways, over their budget promises, so always research on them before joining in.
1153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: November 2022 worst month for cryptocurrency newbies here is lessons. on: December 10, 2022, 07:23:43 PM
November was that bad for people who did not follow advices. The focal points of the losses of November Crypto-currency loss was based on FTX but first if you had avoided centralized exchanges the case won’t be so.

I don’t think it’s should take an FTX drama to learn other than potential loss of fund on centralized exchange you would also have privacy compromise issues too. And some discreet details of your can get to foul hands.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 06:32:33 PM
I am a Messi fan so I really enjoyed this, Portugal out of the World Cup meaning Cristiano Ronaldo out of the World Cup. I personally think that things aren’t working out for him, he is a great player with citadel standard greatness but ending this way is crazy.

Not only is it sad to see Cristiano Ronaldo out but to know that he could not also make the first team in the Portugal team as he normally do is a decline to his standard.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: December 09, 2022, 08:43:45 PM
The trust on centralized exchanges has diminished a bit, but I still use Binance as my trading platform even though it still carries the same risks as FTX.
Many people wait until they experience things themselves before they learn. I don’t think there should be any trust in centralized exchange in the first place and the FTX downfall is just another case solidifying this fact.

Centralized exchange is synonymous to you not owning nothing, and you are under the mercy of the Exchange. Centralized exchange would be an avenue the government would use to get some hold in crypto-currency.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 09, 2022, 08:24:21 PM
And who ever thought bitcoin would in the first place? Also I don’t think there would be any acceptable world currency.
I think it may be an economical issue if the world has one currency as its only currency.
Bitcoin is more advantageous than other currencies and the list is large, but I would want to see a world where everyone is giving the choice at their own opinion be it’s Fiat or Bitcoin.
1157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The future with Bitcoin is bright on: December 09, 2022, 08:00:16 PM
Bitcoin is the most beneficial cryptocurrency in the world as I have seen it change the lives of many around me for good

Well this statement is subjective and depends on individuals. I have seen people that has had much success stories with other coins in terms of Financial improvement than Bitcoin.

Well this maybe as a result of adoption. Many investors started believing in Bitcoin late and then the price had gone up. But those who still took the Altcoin route had success also.

I don’t limit my thoughts on Bitcoin to finance, because it’s volatile like others but unlike others it serves a greater purpose and would also be essential in the future.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 06:35:18 PM
It’s the end of the Road for the Brazil national team. After getting booted out by a relentless Croatia team. After ending goalless in both halves of the game Brazil found the answer through Neymar in the first half of the extra time unfortunately for him and his Compatriots, the Croatians found a late equalizer in the second half of the extra time.

The game had to be settled in a penalty which Brazil missed to and Croatia scored all penalties they took.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 08, 2022, 08:38:27 PM
Tomorrow is a big game in the World Cup. When two giants meet each other, this would be the biggest test yet for Argentina and Nederland
This is probably my favorite quarter final game. This is the World Cup I would like to see Messi win. If Nederland plays a good game then it won’t be embarrassing for them but I am sure that Argentina would give a master class and win the game.
1160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Imagine a crypto world without VCs on: December 08, 2022, 07:49:51 PM
I do not think there is any point asking what is better or who we need to invest in Bitcoin. I could not care less about the whole investment issue. You should understand that Bitcoin did not come from the need of any investor or for any entrance. Bitcoin became this big because people started to use it. People are willing to use Bitcoin. I do not see why we want to get money from venture capital companies just to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin does not need venture capital. It has been designed that way, and this is a very good thing. We do not need more money, we need more people using Bitcoin.

Yes the Usage and the utilities Bitcoin can offer can push Bitcoin adoption more than the investment or monetary value it can give. But I am not going to make any investor in Bitcoin feel bad. It’s their choice. I use Bitcoin and if I am lucky enough to get bitcoin and also find ways to increase my portfolio with it I would appreciate that. My main concern or reason in joining Bitcoin was my curiosity and how it can help out the financial system.
Crypto-currency is risky and I can’t over emphasize that, entering Venture capital in crypto-currency without researching would not have a happy ending.
