1141  Economy / Economics / Re: How do banks generate income? on: May 16, 2023, 07:52:03 AM
Banks generate a lot money from interest, charge and fee, it's already cover all of banks activities which impossible to mention each of them due to each banks has their own features, offers, rules etc.

Keep in mind, even you've calculate the inflation rate in your country and you've pick a bank deposit which give you return higher than your country inflation rate, also you're make sure you're nor get charge due to penalty. You still not beat the banks because banks will always making money even you've think you're the one who make money.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Third graders and Bitcoin on: May 16, 2023, 07:45:18 AM
Now everyone is aware about virtual world, there is no student who does not know about virtual world.  Most of the people in the world now have a mobile phone and everyone is using the internet. As Bitcoin is a virtual currency and it is run through the internet, everyone is aware of it now.The virtual world is a great thing that they already know about it. Everyone has the right to know about Bitcoin and its economy.  Economics is a very important topic in people's lives so I think it's great to let kids know about Bitcoin.Since economists have classes on the topic, teachers can guide them on how Bitcoin is a virtual currency and how it can play a role in the economy.
Even every kids has a cell phone, it's impossible for them to know virtual currency like Bitcoin because they're don't care with money and only know about mobile game. I don't think it's good to teach Bitcoin to third graders because it's too early and they might not interested about it. It's fine just to mention it and explain a little bit, but it's must be teached about investment and assets subject, so as a teacher need to mention other asset than Bitcoin.
1143  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: May 14, 2023, 07:59:38 AM
i will try tonight
let see if they limits me after 5 bets  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
If you gamble with max bet and you win all of your 5 bets, the casino would limit your account. I think this applies to all casinos because they've their own calculation in order to make sure they will not going bankrupt.

Remember, there's always a wager requirement, you can't just gamble 5 bets and withdraw your money.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 14, 2023, 07:54:49 AM
You don't need to send a personal information to them maybe you can send only the proof that you deposited to that casino. You need to hide all your personal information as this day's many are getting scam because they send personal information. Please be careful about what you are doing.
The one who's has the biggest power is the casino, not the gambler.

If the casino ask you to give your bank statement, but you said you can't and only able to send proof of deposit, they will not listen your opinion because their decision are final. If you can't send it, then the casino don't have any problem, they can confiscate your funds and they're profit from it.
1145  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 14, 2023, 07:49:08 AM
Coming back to normal discussion about Rollbit if you are active on twitter they are now giving away $100 on different tweets like guess the slot , guess sports and others which is really impressive.Just want to share that with you all so if anyone is interested in these you can try it and have chance of winning the same.
I thought the guess slot has a clue like a piece of an image of the slot, but the clue is only the first alphabet Cheesy

It's really random and no one have win yet, but I don't think there are 600 users haven't guess correctly.

As for the recent accusations, it's better to discuss on scam accusation section because this thread isn't the right place. AFAIK Rollbit had a problem with their license and they have successfully renewed it, there's no complaint too in their social medias.

I always feel skeptic against newbie account make a complaint and call everyone are scammers.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WARNING] Stay away from BRC-20 tokens - there are far better options on: May 14, 2023, 06:38:27 AM
It seems that there are now even more "standards" being developed on top of Ordinals. Among them are BRC-721 (a standard for NFT collections), BRC-777 and BRC-1155.

These standards are more related to NFTs than the fungible BRC-20 tokens. But AFAIK they share the same problems I described in the OP. They need an inscription per transfer, and thus two Bitcoin transactions when there should be only one.
I think the new developer want to implement anything which previously add on Ethereum network to Bitcoin network. BRC 20, BRC 721, BRC 777, BRC1155, don't forget with BRC 4626, even though one to another standard isn't that different.

I guess we might see there's a wallet can be used directly to connect a project e.g. dApps in Ethereum, I think it's possible if the developer create fork or smart contract, although the drawback we will see many wallets or projects are scam.
1147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 14, 2023, 06:27:31 AM
All you need is a non custodial wallet, money and exchange.

In short, you just need to send your money to the exchange/someone you trade, then you will get your Bitcoin in your exchange (if you trade using CEX) or wallet (if you trade P2P), if you use CEX you need to move your coins to your wallet.

I will like to explain that it goes in 2 ways, first, you can either buy BTC bit by bit (i.e either weekly, monthly or quarterly) and left for 'x' period of years, while secondly, you can buy once with a huge sum and left to grow, or lastly, you can equally work on a signature campaign on the forum and get paid in Bitcoin as reward.
You're talking about DCA and it doesn't need to left for the next few years because you can keep DCA-ing until you death.

Don't treat signature campaign is a job in this forum, it's just a bonus and not everyone join in this forum only for participate a signature campaign, @OP is still a newbie too and he have no way to participate signature campaign.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin anonymous ? on: May 12, 2023, 04:08:31 AM
Mixer
CoinJoin ( Wasabi )
Whirlpool (Samourai)
Lightning

Which of these options would be most appropriate for really big sums ?
You can use any method for big sums, but:

1. Where you heard if using Lightning network will provide anonymity? creating your own channel don't really make you completely anonymous.

2. Both CoinJoin and Whirlpool aren't really a good options, each of them has their own drawback's CoinJoin Alternatives to Wasabi

3. Aside from using a trusted mixer which you can find it here 2023 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites, you can convert your Bitcoin to Monero and convert it back in DEX, Monero is 100% private coin.
1149  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: May 12, 2023, 03:52:22 AM
I have never seen a P2P system on any casino platform so far. The reason I am suggesting here is that no casino platform has introduced P2P system so far, if P2P system is introduced then I think the casino platform can gain a lot of popularity.
It even worse than my thought Roll Eyes

There are many P2P or Web 3.0 casino in this forum, what I remember is owl.games, sportsbet.one, and moonbet.io. Maybe there are more than 10+ casinos use that feature, but it has no traffic because the site didn't accept Bitcoin, so their thread are moved to altcoins section.

Quote
The reason is that people will participate in bets and if they win, they can convert to local currency using the P2P system.
This obviously the site will ask KYC before you gamble because you mention about local currency usage, I believe no one will interested.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 12, 2023, 03:37:06 AM
If you're making deposit through bank and the casino ask your bank statement to verify if you're genuine make a deposit toward them, why you're worried? it's different if you're making deposit through cryptocurrency and they ask your bank statement because both of them are different, but since it's a centralized exchange, all you can do is fulfill their request.

I don't see anything harm, don't need to worry if you're not don't care with KYC.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 12, 2023, 03:17:01 AM
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.
Most people can't do this because they feel disgrace to seek help for their gambling addiction. Each person has different character and behavior too, if he's an introvert person who think he can do anything without any single friend, he will not call his friend since he will think calling a friend just make the problem more complicated.

I think even someone want to gamble all of their money, it's fine as long as they not sell their assets or anything that will used for gamble.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 11, 2023, 06:02:47 AM
I think, Manchester city has what it takes to defeat Everton to maintain the first position in the premier league competition table because all Manchester city potential players are on ground to make things happen for their favour in this match. Based on what Manchester city displayed from the beginning of this premier league competition till now, showed that they are in a good position to defeat Everton 3-1 to embrace the three points from the match. I believe, Everton will definitely score goal in this match but it will be difficult for them to stop Manchester city not to achieve victory from this match.
Both of Manchester City and Arsenal will try their best to win the rest of their matches, it's shame for Arsenal because they're not try as their best to win before they overtaked by Manchester City. Now Arsenal need to win all their matches and hope Manchester City will lose or draw.

I think Manchester City will become the champion in this season because they're currently on fire, they can win FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League in this season.
1153  Economy / Gambling / Re: vbetFTN.com | Leading Online Gambling Operator | 🎰 on: May 11, 2023, 05:21:33 AM
My suggestion is to enable p2p system on your casino site. If you can do this p2p system then I think your casino site will be one of the most popular casino sites of here.
I guess what do you mean about P2P is playing through connecting our wallet without need to create a new account and make a deposit.

Can you give me 3 casinos which have P2P system is become successful now? all of the successful casinos in this forum are centralized e.g. Rollbit, Sportsbet. Bitcasino, Stake, Roobet, Duelbits, Betcoin.ag etc. If you can't mention 3 successful P2P casinos, it's just your hypothesis.

I think this casino will become successful because they're already partnered with one football team e.g. Monaco, this is a proof if they're have a good bankroll.
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 11, 2023, 04:33:45 AM
Victor Osimhen will not be easy to get when compared to Mbappe. Victor Osimhen is much better because he has shown the quality of his playing at Napoli, which is currently at the top of the standings with far enough victory points. Victor Osimhen managed to get 23 goals in these 28 matches, which is quite a feat, and Napoli will not let Victor Osimhen off easy.
So you're saying Mbappe is weaker than Osimhen?

Check their market value, the achievement and international match. Osimhen is a rising star in this season because Napoli can become a champion in Serie A, but what about the champions league? did Osimhen play in World Cup?

On other hands, Mbappe is also not able to win in champions league, but he's carrying France in the last world cup. There's a lot pressure in World cup and he managed to become a top scorer when he's just a 24 years old boy.
1155  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 11, 2023, 04:18:36 AM
Seems to go back to some kind of normal, slow but on the right way.

But it goes up and down very fast, but the unconfirmed tx´s go down more and more for time pass by.
I would say it would be more or less back to normal in 48 hours or less.
End of BRC-20 hype? the hype didn't even last for a month Cheesy

I check BRC-20 site today and I found most of the tokens are in dump, unlike the three days before. Hope many people continue to lost their money on those shitcoins, it will them downturn and leaving BRC-20 tokens.

The problem now is, what can be done so this will not happen again anytime soon. Slow confirmations and high fee is a big factor for people to not use bitcoin and switch to altcoins I think.
I think it's a natural thing, the developer haven't do anything to stop BRC-20, but the volume trade drastically drop. People still use Bitcoin to buy and sell in CEX, but they will not send to their non custodial wallet due to high fee before.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin anonymous ? on: May 11, 2023, 03:17:16 AM
It's hilarious how you're talking about privacy matter but you're use Binance to buy or sell your coins.

Binance is a centralized exchange, they have recorded all of your IP logs, your device and ask your KYC, so the coins you've linked with Binance is already traceable and monitored by them.

Even you route your coins through 10 wallets, they can still trace your coins, the difference is it will take more time.

Use Bisq to trade and mixer if you want to protect your privacy.
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Civil War on: May 10, 2023, 09:45:41 AM

I'm quite understand, but it based on the above tweet it looks like easy to stop BRC-20 transactions? if it's possible then action will be taken ASAP because I think most of developers are don't like it and they're maximalists.

Asking miners to avoid BRC-20 transactions are impossible because they will get benefit due to people willing to pay with high amount of BTC.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 10, 2023, 09:17:17 AM
Free spins everyday without any other requirement? I doubt there will be a casino that can do such bonuses even with high wagering requirement for the free spin's winning. Simply because it will just attract people who want to make money for free from the free spins only, it wont attract real players. Userbase might grow but it wont be real users who want to deposit their own money, remember the time when faucet in gambling site is still popular few years back? There were so many abusers who want to take an advantage of making money through faucet without any intention to gamble with their own money. Free spins everyday without requirement is not a win win for both sides.
Correct, it's just like a way to destroy the casino, there's always a lucky gambler can beat the wagering requirement. People seems to forget if casino isn't a charity where they will give free money to everyone who take a part of their promotion. The most safest promotion for a new casino is a deposit welcome bonus or reward based on total wager, for a big casino they can run a promotion which could make them lose, but they have a lot money so it don't really affect them.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ordinals on the edge of getting canceled on: May 10, 2023, 08:47:29 AM
If we are asked by the Bitcoin devs to vote and choose between allowing ordinals to keep doing their thing on Bitcoin or they should cancel ordinals what will you be voting for?  Grin Grin
Dude, you should need to create a poll before you post this thread, now how we can vote it? Tongue

Well I think most of users in this forum will vote Yes, but not really sure if this thread is moved to altcoins section, it might change the result because there are a lot bounty hunters there and looking to make a huge amount profit through shitcoins Roll Eyes

useless transactions onto a side chain if that was possible, but I don't see how that could be done.
It's possible, someone had open a thread about it yesterday, the name is ORC-20 Annoyed by Ordinals and BRC-20 tokens? Here come the Orcs!!!
1160  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE - open and live! on: May 10, 2023, 08:18:35 AM
I don't trust roulette.
In Nakamoto Roulette, is it possible to check the honesty of the results after placing bets?
Or do you only have roulettes with dealers that cannot be checked?
I don't see any provably fair system in their casino, so there's no way to verify your bet. The @OP was inactive since the last month, I personally will not take a risk because if I get a bad experience and want to complaint, there's no guarantee they will solve it.

Play with your own risk.
