6 weeks ago i bought 6x 1080ti + 6x 1070 gtx. now everything is going down and down, less and less profitable ..... to be honest i am getting worried  Yep, prices are all going down a lot these days, no need to get worried if you treat mining as a hobby  , but I don't think it's your case. I've replaced my Titan X Pascal for an Aorus 1080Ti, much better temps here, no need to worry with that anymore. |

Conseguia um quarto bem quente rs Brincadeiras à parte, apesar da placa sofrer com o cooler referência da nvidia no quesito resfriamento, ela dava praticamente o mesmo hashrate de uma 1080Ti, pois trata-se da mesma GPU, porém com memórias mais lentas. Considerando a placa com TDP a 80%, fan a 100%, over leve no core +110 e +500 nas memórias GDDR5X: Lyra2Rev2 ~ 58-64 MH/s ETH / DaggerHashimoto~34 MH/s Equihash ~ 610-630 H/s Lbry ~ 400-450 MH/s |

Sobre roubos(quebra do blockchain), é cada vez menos frequentes, não é mais como antigamente... hoje em dia não acredito que se desvie nada das plataformas devido o que houve no passado a não ser que haja algo novo o que está cada vez mais difícil.
Não sei, a Poloniex que é a exchange com maior volume não está lá com essa confiança toda dos usuários, se der alguma merda ali.. já sabe o que acontece. Outro ponto é as próprias exchanges aguentarem o tráfego, aquelas semanas que o BTC foi pra 13.000 BRL foi um caos aqui e lá fora não ficou tão pra trás, tudo isso gera medo para quem não tem conhecimento(até pra quem tem gera). Engraçado ver a Poloniex com maior volume de tradings hoje, tendo em vista que esta já foi uma lástima no passado não tão distante. Essas exchanges são complicadas, eu sempre gostei da Bittrex, agora nada impede que as atuais sofram problemas como foi o caso da famosa Mt.Gox, Mintpal e do recente caso da Coinbase com o flash crash relacionado ao stop loss no ETH. |

Viu que saiu um novo programa da Nicehash, versão alpha?
Parece que o mesmo atualiza os miners no startup. Houve uma boa melhora no hash de vários algoritmos aqui.
versão 2.0.0.7? Vou baixar pra testar, daqui a pouco eu edito com os resultados. Pegando agora com a antiga: 4.8 a 4.9 mBTC no dual mine edit: o software é bem bonito pego 23mh/s+ minerando ETH com minha 1060 em 80% de power e 900 de memory clock porém os lucros oscilam, da umas puladas de 108mh/s pra 117mh/s e de volta pra 108.. as 5 gpu's juntas.. então o lucro vai de 0.0045 até 0.00487.. agora abri o dualmine de novo(antes tava eth+pascal fixo pra não trocar de moeda e dar erro), botei DCR+ETH.. 5.1mBTC.. acho que vou ficar com a versão antiga mesmo.. É essa versão mesmo. Aqui troquei a Titan X Pascal por uma Aorus 1080 Ti e tive uma melhora grande no hashrate, a placa fica na casa dos 60 Celsius, aquele cooler blower referência da nvidia é um lixo total. Aqui flutua entre 40 a 60mBTC/dia com as 2x 1070gtx a 75% tdp mais a 1080Ti a 80% tdp. Estou de olho na mineração da Nexus, via solo mining talvez seja rentável ainda, o único impeditivo aqui é a preguiça de sincronizar a wallet e depois de vender a coin na bittrex kkk |

Depende, quando o preço do ETH cai, da aquele aperto no coração.. ta dando uns 1,1~1.2mBTC cada placa hoje, tem dia que menos.. e a tendencia é cair mais.. É uma área extremamente perigosa e manipulada como o colega já disse, tem que ter muita habilidade e tempo disponível pra poder ganhar algo com altcoins.
Uma boa estratégia é fazer como muitos fazem para algumas moedas PoW recém anunciadas, que ainda nem tem exchange pra trocar, vc sincroniza a wallet, minera precocemente em modo solo com um bom rig e deixa sempre a wallet sincronizada, feito isso, fique atento ao preço da altcoin, os anúncios, whitepapers etc, pode levar dias, meses, anos, quem sabe aquela mineração que vc fez valha uma boa grana, é o exemplo da Nexus, que não valia nada e teve um pump....tem que ter muita paciência.

So I did have msi drop setting and go full speed ahead on my gigabyte aorus but with big fans/heat sink it survived once I did this to the clock settings they stayed put and no runaway tdp    Looks like sometimes the software looses control on the cards, this happened sometimes here too. Thanks for the tip. For mining purposes, I always set TDP bellow 80%, no voltage added, fans at 100%, Temperatures limited to 75ºC maximum, also all my cards are on an open case with strong ventilation and they're all custom cards with beef coolers and at least/minimum 2 fans each. This thread scares me a little, since my rig stays online 24/7, I was thinking in these Gigabyte 1070GTX Mini cards, but they're too expensive here in my country, I think the dual fan Galax 1070 GTX Mini OC is a better choice. yeah i have mined with cards since 2011 and sometimes the cards drop the software mostly msi afterburner and just go full blast. So any card with a really good cooling system stands to do okay but the mini cards with 1 fans and a small heat sink can suffer. so far I have used these nvidia aorus 1080 ti = dropped msi setting gigabyte 1070 itx = no issues since I set to third party. msi aero 1070 itx = no issues as it is a msi msi aero 1080 ti = no issues as it is a msi zotac 1080 ti founders = no issues set at third party. asus 1080 ti blower turbo = no issues set at third party. zotac 1080 mini = no issues set at third party. asus 1070 strix = no issues set at third party msi 1070 gamer = no issues a msi card zotac 1060 mini = no issues set at third party zotac 1050 ti = no issues set at third party pny 1080 ti founders = no issues set at third party. Someone else has complained about his 1080 ti an aorus doing a jump from 60 tdp to 85 tdp I told him try the third party setting. that was in my main alt coin thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877588.0some where past page 70 I also have an Aorus non Extreme 1080Ti card, btw wonderful card, temps never go above 64ºC, just tried this third part settings and it's totally stable until now. yeah i name them rig 1 2 3 etc... simple than that there is not, you can just name them 1 2 3 etc, even simple but boring maybe, if you don't name them i get confused if i need to solo and put a wallet in one of them, they all look the same
No, since here I have only a desktop PC with only three GPUs and I don't see why to name the mining hardware, but if there are many rigs, naming them makes sense for monitoring and management purposes. |

you are telling me that 0.3 btc with two gpu isn't that much are you joking? there is no coin that can give you that, and it's not instamining, i was mining for two days, the diff was low, because no one care about a coin that have no exchange
instamining is another thing, it's when you mine tons of block in few seconds/minute, this is earlymining...mining before the coin hit the exchange

I think ZEC is a very good altcoin and will be very valuable in the future, price is already way higher than ETH if you compare this coins release dates, also the algortihm (Equihash) is very profitable yet to GPU miners.
