Alright, here is what you have to address before you invest: 1. If you are in the Altcoin as an investment. and want to sell the coin as the price goes up, then you got to do your homework, before you invest. You cant invest in every ICO, like the ICEBERG coin . 2. If you are in the altcoin for the features, then why would you invest? just buy them after they are released and fulfill their promises. To the Op who says Check out SAFFRON Coin.. For an investor Really? look at the graph: https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/270I invested in Via : https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-VIA , the prices went up 5 times the Presale price, so was a perfect investment. You cant hope every altcoin to be like the Bitcoin, where prices will go up 100x. You should know what you are investing in, dont invest if you dont understand the working of Bitcoin. |

Maybe stop investing in developers which have no background, and claim to do a fair launch. You cant just trust anyone with your money. However if its a proper developer with a good background, maybe then you can take the risk.

Ether seems a little tricky to invest in. Its hard to predict what will happen. With a big investment, I doubt the profits will go that high.

can you explain why? I like more info than just "fuck that" After every presale and release i've seen the price went down every time (and eventually the coin died). Also if they had confidence in their ''revolutionary coin'' they wouldnt do a presale, especially a presale in BTC, the only true crypto. Why would they want BTC if their crap was better ? What i see is the same old alt coin scam. Maybe you are holding every coin too long. I had a great investments in some of these. I had a 600% profit on selling some of these coins after the presale. After some time a lot of these coins are dumped, which is when the price falls, you should definitely get out before that happens. But for Ethereum invested amount is already 3600 BTC, and I doubt investors will be profitable on this one. Price will probably keep going down. |

The only reason you should invest in an IPO is if the developer is a reputed/ a knowledgeable person.
Else you should steer away. Most of them are empty promises.

Thats probably because the amount invested right now is small. If like JD, you have 40K invested, then a profit of 10 BTC to the house, doesnt get you much with an investment of 2-3 BTC. |

Since amounts sent to the addresses didnt matter, I guess it was a stupid Contest. As any regular player on Luckybit, could have sent 0.0002 to all the team addresses and won big. Just how I feel right now. They should definitely have considered the amounts sent,as it shows who is willing to gamble more.  No you couldn't have, it's the most recent entry that counts. You could have made 32 new addresses, and then waited until 2 days before to wager on the right ones. I guess you could have done so, but why? To cheat on the system, just because you are greedy and incompetent? Some people hate LB and are in it just for the 5 BTC promo. Just sayin. Yes, I have been in this for the contest, but have started playing after entering(not just for the prize). But it will be stupid, if I get back less than what I sent to the address. |
