1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 10, 2017, 11:02:46 AM
There are a lot of altcoins and I am really curious why people buy them. Is there any worth of altcoin? Why not using only bitcoin? What's the future of altcoins?

It is through altcoin that people can gain more profit compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin price is more stable and high, alt can rise 2x 3x or even more than 10x. I believe there's some people who invest believe the project future, but most alt is just a vaporware with no real life use, only driven by hype. It's better to buy alt to multiply your bitcoin rather than just 20-30% increase if you leave your bitcoin and do nothing.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 10, 2017, 08:59:26 AM
I really didn't understand why was my previous messaged ignored. I invested few coins i wanted to know what will be the price when it is live on the market aka after ico?

The price will be determined by the market ofcourse, the thing we know right now is the presale price is $0,05 per token. If rest depends on the funds in the liquidity pool. If the result is good, the price will surely increase overtime. But looking at the amount of project recently, most of their price always above ico when they get it some exchanger.
1143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading bots are they okay? on: May 10, 2017, 08:19:06 AM
Using bitcoin bot to trade is definitely okay, in fact there's people selling trading bot like C.A.T or gunbot. You won't get in trouble if you know what your bot do. If you're already make a lot of money from it then you should continue doing that. No need to share it here.
1144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For New Investors - The 3 Percent Bitcoin Rule on: May 09, 2017, 05:45:08 PM
Why 3%? the article doesn't give any reason for this particular number and even in the article's example, the number is 1/3 from the total shares, about 33,3%, not 3 %. For me the 1/3 from the example makes more sense as the number of bitcoin we hold is still high and the value worth something. 3% is too small to make difference in life.
1145  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Diskusi] Altcoin Di Exchanger Poloniex, Bittrex, Yobit dan C-cex on: May 09, 2017, 05:21:30 PM
awas hindari POLONIEX jangan trade disana sedang Eror server Down kalau gak mau rugi bahaya lebih prepare ke bittrex aja
https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/861777032279142404
lalala polo berulah lagi  Sad

Untungnya udh ane jadiin bitcoin sebelum tidur, tadi pagi bangun alt berdarah" semua ga terlalu efek lagi.

1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your biggest casino win? on: May 09, 2017, 12:28:35 PM
It's been a long time since i played in casino but this isn't restricted to online casino right? If so i won about 13.000 RM (about $3000) from playing bacarat about half a year ago with 500 malaysia ringgit (about $110) as a starting bankroll. It's late at night and i planned to go back after playing a bit.

1149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin credit card? on: May 08, 2017, 08:38:25 AM
I can't be done as there's strict regulation overbitcoin right now and not every country will allow that.

Do you guys have any idea what the OP is talking about? A credit card, not a debit card! You must be under 18 as you don't know the difference.
There is no bitcoin debit card because those wallets are what they are, a bitcoin wallet/exchange, not a bank, or something else with the ability to deliver credits.

Well, there is bitcoin debit card. uquid is one thing that come into my mind when talking about bitcoin debit card. If it's credit card, then i don't know any.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 08, 2017, 04:50:05 AM
Well, even average joe can remember their password for their social media account, and they can write the passphrases somewhere. It's not like you have to remember it. And if they lose it then it's them to blame in the first place to forget something associated with their money.

1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction on: May 07, 2017, 05:06:56 PM
Transaction details

Size    928 (bytes)

Inputs and Outputs
Total Input    0.04997436 BTC
Total Output    0.0492 BTC
Fees    0.00077436 BTC
Fee per byte    83.444 sat/B
Estimated BTC Transacted    0.0492 BTC

Your transaction size is too big that kind of fee isn't enough to get into normal priority. Next time try to see the average fee first before sending your transaction. Usually a transaction with fee/byte no lower than 140 can get you confirmed in less than 3 hour. I never encountered a problem where the transaction haven't been confirmed in seven days. Keep trying txaccelerator or you may have to wait a long time until it got confirmed.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which side do people prefer to see chatbox on gambling sites? on: May 07, 2017, 11:14:56 AM
I like it better on the right side as long as it don't have some disctracting layout, not sure why but probably because most of the site i visited has it on the right side. And i like it if it has some toggle option so i can close the chat whenever i lose so i don't get more angry looking at the chat. Smiley
1154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 07, 2017, 09:55:02 AM
New rumor coming out about Sergio Aguero.  Mourinho is in for a shock move on the Man City striker for 55m GBP.

What do you guys think?  Possible?  I think it is.  We have seen Carlos Tevez move from United to City before, so it's nothing really new.

Where did you hear this one? because i haven't see any rumours about aguero. In fact there's no rumour for striker aside of mbappe from monaco. But i don't think it's possible for that kind of money, yes pep prefer gabriel over him but i don't think aguero is the striker mourinho like. If you look at mourinho history, his striker always been a target man type, tall big and strong enough to hold the ball.
1155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading with Bitcoin on: May 07, 2017, 06:38:20 AM
Trading with bot is good, that it makes a minimum profit with consistency on successive trades. This cannot be guaranteed with the manual trading. This is possible when the price seems to fluctuate within certain price range and while exceeding too it makes profit but not the peak.

Although the profit is not the maximum, but you can also get a big one because the bot keep trading while you can't do it. And it's not like you can always get the highest possible profit when trading manually.
For the OP, you should try C.A.T bot as they support a lot of exchange.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 06, 2017, 10:44:37 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

I think it depends on your ability and the place you live. In this city where i lived in, the minimum wage is about $150. You can get that amount in a few days from trading some alt-coin. Heck, you can maybe get half of it for doing signature campaign and it's more relaxing than spend 8 hours at work. It may vary based on the location but it's a viable option if you have experince in trading.
1157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: earn money with lending btc?! on: May 06, 2017, 02:32:42 AM
what you guys think about lending btc through poloniex or other sites? the rates are 0.5-2% atm per day so pretty decent. are there any other ways of making income with ur btc?
The rate is too small for me. You can get higher rate in this forum but with more risk. You choose higher rank member that can be trusted and ask for collateral for the loan, that way even if you got scammed, you can get your money back. You can get higher income using that btc to trade alt-coin. The movement of alt is good this day and you get net some profit from it.
1158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lending bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 06:19:14 PM
Isn't any exchange site like poloniex provide the lending feature? you can also lend bitcoin here in lending section but i don't know about the interest rate. You should forget about lending if you want to search something safe as there's so many scammers that it isn't worth for the little amount of interest.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [6196 BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [ICO ENDED] on: May 05, 2017, 12:56:40 PM
Taas official account here was last online on 2nd May,I expect them to be as active here as they were during ICO.
They should specifically assigne someone to handle the questions posted here.

If you want to ask some question, you can join their telegram (yes not slack as they move the discussion to 1 place). They answered a lot of questions there and the disscusions is definitely better rather than here where all the question is about bounty, exchanger and ico price which already been answered already.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 10:46:06 AM
Advertise through ads or some program? If it's through ads, i don't think a short ads can explain what bitcoin is to people, especially older audience and who will fund it in the first place? ads on tv in prime time is very expensive and no one want to pay it if they don't get any benefit. Bitcoin is already popular and publicity using online media is enough.
