i dunno where should I ask about it but i thought it's worth a try here. I sent some fldc from bittrex to poloniex 4-5 hours ago and I haven't received it yet. Is there any known issue I'm not aware of or it's just a normal thing?

Sometimes poloniexs servers delay depoists if you dont get it within 24 hours you should probably file a support ticket with them
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - MINE FOR MEDICINE- PHASE 2.0 on: September 09, 2016, 08:19:48 AM
so this coin payout once per month?
and is there anyway i could estimate number of FLDC i will have base on my score?

Yes coins are paid at the start of every month. There is no way at the moment to estimate coins based on score however there is a stats website being built at the moment which will allow this in the future.

I have a suggestion for the foldingcoin website, i think it would be a good idea to add a small section on the homepage that displays the amount of points folded by Foldingcoin in the last 24 hours and shows the total amount of points ever folded by foldingcoin. This was a feature on the old site but with the site redesign it was removed.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good coins to accumulate and hold relatively long to mid term on: August 20, 2016, 11:45:56 AM
Good coins to hold long term in my opinion are:

- Bitcoin
- Litecoin

- Peercoin
- Dogecoin
- Namecoin
- LTBcoin
- Foldingcoin <snip>
The bolded above I agree with.  The rest are like WTF coins, and I wouldn't hold them if you paid me to.  But I'm just pessimistic about altcoins in general now.  Too much risk, and the market seems to be very saturated.  You could probably make a fast buck on all of the above, but long term (except for btc, doge, LTC)?  I doubt it.

I base my list on coins that have been around a while and have some credibility. I believe long term that coins with strong fundamentals will surpass those that do not.

I remember around January 2013 when altcoin trading was starting to gain steam, people where buying and selling scam coins to make a quick buck. Now if they had taken that money and put it into litecoin/peercoin/namecoin instead they would have seen returns to the tune of 30000% that november, but they decided to invest in "hype" coins and make chump change in comparison.

I am not saying that this will happen again but i prefer to invest in something that has long term planning and some goal rather than IPO/ICO which exist only to enrich the devs.

It is possible that satoshi has lost the private keys to the early coins considering that bitcoin had no value back then. I would not be surprised if he didnt bother backing up his wallets as he himself considered bitcoin an experiment.

1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoldingCoin - MINE FOR MEDICINE- PHASE 2.0 on: August 19, 2016, 08:08:37 AM
Cutting the distribution down to once a month has helped the price it seems, lower sell pressure + constant or greater buy pressure = price increase.

Are there any additions planned to merged folding? At the moment we are only receiving magicfldc will scotcoin, bitcrystals, OCTO and SOG cards be making a comeback?

1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin IS Bitcoin on: August 19, 2016, 07:54:15 AM
For the record LTC distribution is actually worse than BTC. This address: https://bitinfocharts.com/litecoin/address/3J5KeQSVBUEs3v2vEEkZDBtPLWqLTuZPuD holds 10.95% of all litecoins.

All coins that were launched in the early days have bad distribution because there were very few miners back then. In any system you are going to have some centralisation of wealth simply due to the early adopter effect.

Disclaimer: I do not hate litecoin.

I have already doubled my investment with some of the coins above. The trick to making money in crypto is to hold long term thats where the real profits are.

Its nice to see foldingcoin back on track! Just one question - when will the loyalty reward FLDC be paid out?

There was a glitch in the automatic payout distributor system as Robert mentioned on the hangout, but payouts did go out earlier today, for both FLDC and MAGICFLDC distributions. Please check your FLDC address!

I was referring to the loyalty bonus for long term folders. The monthly payout has come through.

Gyus just wanted to say, i bought some coins on a pump over 100 satoshi just wanted ask a question, will this coin grow?, was that a good investment? i know maybe a stupid question but i wanted to ask.

yes Cheesy

Only invest what you can afford to lose. I think long term FLDC price will grow to at least 200 - 400 satoshi but that will probably be after the halving.
