1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Saturday is halving day what is your opinion on: July 08, 2016, 12:29:03 AM
Price will probably go down short term but this is a long term play. As long as demand increases price rises are going to be inevitable.
many of my friend think the same,i do aswell too.
Too many people already saying that the bitcoin price is going to get down short after halving,i dont really like that predictions,i hope they wont fullfill like some kind of magic prophecy lol.
1143  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:27:17 AM
It's really hard, i have a bad experience in  women motivation, they are just without any logic, very hard to explain to women what is better or not, etc.
Hahaha you made my day Grin
You just cannot explain them what is better or not, they need to have their own opinion for some reason,i dont know  why aswell.
We,men can't understand women and all this is simply reversed, that is why it is so hard to motivate womens i guess haha Wink
1144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:23:27 AM

jammers from bitcoinsinireland.com has done a survey back in 2015 and they're doing it again (not sure what's the progress though):

2016:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1443205.0

2015:
http://bitcoinsinireland.com/bitcoinsurvey-report-2015/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=987941.0

From their twitter:

https://twitter.com/BTCinIreland

can't say it's a reliable survey if the survey were held through internet or online surveys, its can be faked by the respondent, different if bitcoinsinireland.com do an offline survey by inviting so many bitcoiners there
Hmm,i think the number above like lol,55-60 are just faked,i really cannot believe that we already have some
70 year's old using bitcoin network.it just dont seems possible for me lol.
It is a internet survey, the real result might be completely different.
1145  Other / Off-topic / Old people earning bitcoins on: July 08, 2016, 12:15:56 AM
Hello guys,do anyone here know's some old person's who actually make bitcoins by investing them or i dont know,by signature campaining ?
I was wondering about it for some time,i just never heard about someone older than 45 years and making bitcoins.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: July 08, 2016, 12:14:39 AM
Well BTCitcoin is true crypto currency so that i am quite it have wonderful future ahead and still there is time left to get in into this train, BTCitcoin is getting ready to go the mainstream than it will make secure our future and hard believers will enjoy their early retire life.

i will second this
for early retirement maybe will consider this but will enjoy in full if this is possible
i think it would be really hard to earn enough money with bitcoins in order to be able to retire though i think that it might be possible if you accumulate a lot of bitcoins at the moment
many people who say that bitcoin will last probably more than 20 years and if you count the old are you now, maybe I will retire in 20 years, yeah I think no problem collecting bitcoin for severance your pension day, many people who believe that high prices will happen in 20 years I hope

Well,if we are talking about retire, let's say i would, but bitcoin would be still alive right?
I think i wouldn't mind starting a signature campaining, and getting let's say 80 post's a day,i could probably live only out of it and the money
i got in previous years, before retiring.
70 year old earning bitcoin, wow nice haha
1147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: July 08, 2016, 12:09:36 AM
Well, today i have found a new restaurant in my city, where i can pay with bitcoins too!
It is kinda small indeed, and i was feeling like it's weird that some small company got it,but well,i love eating burger's bought for my bitcoins!
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 08, 2016, 12:08:04 AM
I would sell it in bulk to someone reputable. Still going to have to pay capital gains tax on it though. No way of getting away with it unless you keep it in bitcoin or go the illegal route which isnt worth it.
Haha,im pretty sure many people at this forum would say that it is actually worth it but personally,
i agree with you.
But you know that selling about 500 bitcoins in short frame of time would make it price go down a lot?
It would start a panic selling, people dumping coins like crazy.
By the way getting tax on bitcoins, sucks Sad
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is too slow on: July 08, 2016, 12:05:43 AM
This time I think the bitcoin transactions and confirmations are getting faster right now , I have almost 10 transactions before and I received each of them in just 15 or 20 minutes I think the good day with bitcoin for this year is starting .
That is true,i have been waiting for long yesterday, but now i got it all.
It is really faster now, transactions which need 1 confirmation get's confirmated in about 10-15 minutes now.
I like this Wink
That is good and i think confirmation of transaction is very usual in online that they need to secure all our transactions and they need to confirm if the other address is legit and there are no online transaction like bitcoin are instant.
I dont know what really just happened but it looks for me like bitcoin transaction's are going faster and faster!
I did some transfer which need's 2 confirmation, and it got there in just 2 minutes, how is it possible?
I have been waiting few times about 3-4 hours for 1 conf, and it goes so fast now, smooth as hell!
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: July 08, 2016, 12:04:08 AM
Hi I wonder about the demographics of bitcoin. Who uses it, race, location, gender?

I read the coindesk paper on it, but wonder if there is some other more updated documentation on it.

Regards
Im sure that a lot of diifferent people use this, but we can say easily that it is not so popular amont the older people,
what is not surprising, most of them probably just dont know about it.
From my observation's i would say Men aged about 18-25,but i know more older people in bitcoin too.
1151  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: July 08, 2016, 12:02:08 AM
i dont actually know a lot how btc affect's other people life's but i know that it affects mine so hard!

that bitcoin have already helped me a lot.
1152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase says F*ck you to Canadian customers on: July 08, 2016, 12:00:48 AM
As of August 1, Coinbase’s Canadian payments provider, Vogogo, will be shutting down its payment processing business. When this occurs, Coinbase will no longer be able to support Canadian EFT transfers, Interac transfers, or the storage of customer CAD on Coinbase.

All customer CAD stored with Coinbase MUST be withdrawn off site or converted to digital currency by July 29th.

If you hold CAD in your Coinbase account, you must liquidate your CAD holdings before July 29th by either:

creating a withdrawal to your linked bank account or
exchanging stored CAD for digital currency.
If you are unable to withdraw or exchange your CAD before July 29th, Coinbase will suspend your account and significant fees will be incurred for CAD withdrawals.
We are disappointed to lose the ability to offer these payment methods for our Canadian customers and hope to provide additional payment methods in the future. We appreciate your support during this change.
So many thread's built about coinbase,i actually dont get  that phenomenon.
It just got banned in Germany and Luxembourg too, seems like coinbase is going to die fast.
1153  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 07, 2016, 11:59:34 PM
I have been a forex trader for four years and fortunately I have been working with a prestigious broker that  can pay my earnings through bitcoin, although my account is based on dollars, but they offer this advantageous service, and this has become my preferred and easier way to get bitcoins.
Wow i would like to know what broker is that,i guess you probably wont tell me but i would try it too,im into forex
for about 3-4 years and i would like to get payed in btc,not in $ or euro.
I use XM.com,i really like bonuses there ( for example gold account or something )
1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: July 07, 2016, 11:58:14 PM
These thread's are getting more and more hilarious.
We have already had like 200k $ per btc,1$ btc etc.etc.
When it is going to finish? dont dream about it,it is not possible for any crypto to reach 1million.
1155  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Max amount of btc once you own? on: July 07, 2016, 11:56:46 PM
What is Max amount of btc you owned once, and where did you spent these?

I only have 0.5 bitcoin, and then I use the money only for trading purposes. Bitcoin and only use a few times to buy phone credits. Hehe Im  not the rich man.
Maybe you are not rich.
But with bitcoin you can change it,if you already have 0,5  bitcoin, you have really many ways to make it more!
Get to loans thread's,trade as you already do if it yields you profit or invest in something else!
BTC let's us earn,so take what is yours buddy Smiley
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: July 07, 2016, 11:55:12 PM
Well, if people bought at 400-500$. it is definitely  profitable.

when the price is around 400-500. there are enough threads about halving and when that whoever buys will remain profitable, even when later halving occurs the price no rise or fell to $600.
of course people who have bought at a price of $400-$500 in the last few days were very lucky today. but you do not need to be disappointed because you do not buy on that day true what was said by my friend. that any price would you buy I think we still  have the possibility to profit, because it will always go up every year

It is always a good moment to buy.
Just keep an eye for exchange rates, you will see from chart when it is just stupid to buy.
The thing i love with bitcoin is that it just doesnt matter so hardly when u bought it,it will probably rise anyway finally Smiley
1157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you recieved random BTC, would you return it? on: July 07, 2016, 11:54:02 PM
it ain't mine so it goes back. and if i ever sent some to the wrong address i'd expect it back too. maybe that makes me a hippyish drip but bitcoin's supposed to be making the world better, right?
Wow if you would really return them, congratulation's man,you have a big heart,im afraid i dont have it.
When i would write wallet address bad,and would transfer 1 btc somewhere else,i would accept that i have lost it.so i guess i would took it too if someone did mistake like this
1158  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: July 07, 2016, 11:52:08 PM
The bitcoin using in daily life would be awesome but not possible, I think that its just not gonna happen.
The bitcoin first needs to get a lot bigger and than its for me locally possible in my eyes.
Heh.... do you know some people in here using bitcoin for daily stuff, maybe they don't want to publish it but i sure some people using bitcoin for their daily life. but it's very complicated if you wanna to using your bitocin in daily stuff you always need to exchange that before.
They really do,because it is just so easy to convert it to fiat,or pay with it somewhere.
I have a friend who is buying food everyday for bitcoin in restauraunt's,i have meet him many times at the city while eating btc burger haha
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Big Halvening Price Rise on: July 07, 2016, 11:50:18 PM
There will be no big BTC Halvening price rise. You heard it here first.
Well let's say you are right.Of course i hope you're not but i think it may be possible really.
I have seen that volume have been constantly fall for some time, and it may be a reason that btc will not get big at halving.
Maybe a lot of people is going to dump it too,so they are holding it to the next days.
Halving is close,dont get over-excited!
1160  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you won the lottery? on: July 07, 2016, 11:48:43 PM
Retire and Help my family.
You are the best hellspawn!
Im hundred percent sure winning 200$ million in such a lottery and giving let's say 50% to your family, and
people you like must be a incredibly good feeling!
I would like to try it Cheesy
Only people that always helped me in my entire life, I'll help. That is what I consider as family.  Grin And of course I'll do more Philanthropy than I currently do.
Yeah,i bet you dont do much, same like me cause it is just not easy to give you're hardly worked income for some other people you usually dont even know!
But i would like to start a bitcoin charity, maybe some they really i will do? I need to get rich at first hahaha.
