We can apply for a "position" as a Merit Source, by gathering 10 posts for evaluation.
Genius! So, instead of mods doing ... I don't know, maybe modding ... they'll now dedicate countless hours reading past posts in assessing if the countless submitters merit being an sM source while still getting paid for their modding prowess from this forum's coffer which, BTW, was first uncovered by me, whereupon theymos verified the practice back in the day, previously such was unknown to the community at large. In essence, pretend there's a restaurant that has fallen disarray due to subordinates not performing up to par, causing visitors to proclaim to others that the place is a shithole. The owner of the restaurant wants to clean up the place. Thanks to his infinite wisdom, the owner instructs his managers (think: mods) to start cleaning the toilets on a more regular basis, sweep the parking lot every four hours, Windex all the glass three times a day, dust the curtains every day, and make sure the menus are always clean. All that on top of their already busy schedule sans an immediate increase in pay, but the mods' managers' performance will be continually monitored in making sure that the subordinates are in check, thus bettering the environment for patrons to enjoy once again. All the while, the people operating the credit card machine at the cash register and the servers and the cooks are stealing from the restaurant, other employees and patrons - even worst if the managers are in on the act. Genius! "Madness!"

DavorCoin is truly going to be the best lending platform now.
They've found a great new way to encourage lending. They allow people to get their capital release anytime they choose. They just have to pay back the interest (only up to the first month and half of month two's). This should stop all the Ponzi accusations as this proves they don't have any trouble returning these loans whenever anyone wants them back and also keeps customers in control of their own money. Genius.
Are you new to Ponzis in general? Pirateat40's BS&T let people withdraw whenever they wanted to, without losing any interest. It was still a Ponzi. Letting people withdraw their capital proves nothing, because the idiot victims are too stupid to realize that they have given their money to a scammer, so they leave it with him even when the have the option of withdrawing. Let me guess. So to clean up the place, hence every single neg given in the trust thingy IS NOT indexed by Google, designed so to protect the community. Meanwhile, links no longer open in new tabs due to a security risk, but that changed yesterday where the sM button when clicked now opens up a ... wait for it ... new tab, thus ... I don't know ... maybe creating a security risk? Like I stated earlier, "Boys, we've cleaned up the place, now why don't you stay a spill. Oh, and please pardon the mess."

So sad right now, that means that someone who has been pretty active in the past but have not gotten legendary will take forever to reach legendary now. Damn, if only I was more active before haha. Then again, legendary had no correlation with credibility, so I'm fine with that too haha.
Ultimately it's a good way to filter out the spam I guess 😂 .
Seriously? Explain to me exactly how this new sM thingy stops nefarious actors from coming here and registering, then posting to their heart's content not caring less if they move up in rank or not. Yes, it may slow them down a tad per account, but thanks to now needing more accounts to advance their cause, whatever their cause may be, more accounts they will create. WAIT! Hey, maybe that the plan - to see how quickly this forum can reach the 2M users milestone. Hmmmmmmmmmm!

I came here to see what in the hell was this new merit thing, to find that there is already a +50 pages thread about it hilarious... Why you people care so much about "ranking"? AFAIK it's only useful for scamming noobs. (I'm genuinely asking) Are you serious or what ? Many airdrops and bounties depends on of your rank profile in this forum, do you know that? Honestly I'm still a bit confused about that, there were obviously too much scams and a solution had to be found, but honestly this way is really hard for common users, we'll see how this innovation will work. Not the case for my last one or next which is about to be posted in a few - a YTC Airdrop for YouTubers who are users on this forum regardless of their ranking. TBC, I do get the gist of your reply. Ergo, ... +1 sM IMPORTANT EDIT: When giving that sM to V86, a new tab opened up. Isn't that a security risk for this forum?
|
|
|
If you want to be a merit source:
1. Be a somewhat established member. 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections. How much does the gig pay? TBC, I'm talkin' yo-yo BTC not in the form of them sM thingies.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/01/25/bitconnect-lawsuit-florida/BitConnect hit with class action lawsuit from six victims who lost over $770,000 Judgement day has come for BitConnect: The Southern District of Florida handed the shifty Bitcoin investment lending platform its first class action lawsuit yesterday, alleging the company swindled the plaintiffs for a sum exceeding $770,000. The case, brought by six former investors, names several BitConnect branches registered in the UK. More interestingly though, it also goes after local promoters who blatantly hyped the investment scheme on YouTube and other social media channels. Among others, the lawsuit lists BitConnect affiliate marketer Glenn Arcaro, who holds a director position in the company according to the British Companies House registrar. It also names Trevon Brown (better known as Trevon James around the web), Ryan Hildreth, Craig Grant, CryptoNick (filed as John Doe) and several other unnamed promoters. The document bizarrely opens with a reference to the song Welcome to Wonderland from the Broadway play Wonderland. “Sure enough the crypto-Wonderland created by BitConnect was too good to be real,” the document reads. “As the business’ closure in January 2018 revealed a Ponzi scheme, numerous securities laws violations, and thousands upon thousands of investors who lost [more than] 90 percent of their holdings.” According to figures in the filing, the plaintiffs lost sums ranging from $11,500 to $200,000. “Plaintiffs and Class Members seek compensatory and equitable relief rescinding their investments in BitConnect and restoring them the assets and funds they were fraudulently induced into investing,” the case insists. For context, the case describes “Class Members” as any BitConnect investors with the exception of the defendants and any individuals commercially involved in the defendants’ affiliate marketing efforts. All investors that fit this criteria can join the class action against the company. In a curious turn of events, some of the BitConnect promoters named in the lawsuit – including Arcaro and Hildreth – went on to wipe their entire YouTube channels when BitConnect received its first cease and desist orders from the Texas Securities Board and the North Carolina Securities Division. Still, suspicious netizens were thoughtful enough to archive some of the promo footage before the marketers had a chance to pull it from their channels. Independent cryptocurrency sleuth Bitfinex’ed has since provided us with some of Arcaro’s deleted videos. You can access all of them from this link. The U$200,000 Investard: Seriously, you think it's prudent for the creator of BitConnect to give his real name in this space? Why don't you assholes quit worrying about how we spend our money. We're all adults and know what we're getting into. You're now on my ignore list. Have a good life! BitConnect: We're closing our doors due to bad press. Goodbye. The U$200,000 Investard: Dudes, can you guys help me get my money back? Does anybody know who the fucker is behind BitConnect? I'm suing their asses! Asshole: Wait, I thought the likes of me were on your ignore list. Have a change of heart? The U$200,000 Investard: Gulp!

In the other hand the Bitconnect creators and biggest promoters will be hunted down like animals and put hopefully in jail where they belong!! All evidence is there on that site, public records, names, faces, videos and more! Interesting! Arrest them all where their only way for a reduced sentence is to spill the beans on all they know as to who's truly behind BitConnect, their respective sentences staying on record. Looking at you, too, Jrevon Tames.
