1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 08, 2017, 06:47:24 PM
The big fat price is usually that one when you invest a small amount but get incredibly lucky, I have seen people win jackpots after spending like 5 dollars and I have seen people lose 4 figures in gambling and they get nothing back. luck is everything in this life, we must be lucky or we will suffer, and the only way to get lucky is to try.

Yes, luck is that matter most in gambling than the amount invested. Higher investment of bitcoin amount is good in trading that can yield you better profits, but there is no grantee with gambling. Higher amounts invested in gambling give you no grantee that you will win big.
Gambling and investment as casinos bankroll are two different ways to make profits, and I don't think OP talking about gambling as he mentioned invest bitcoin on casino. When you depends on Luck to win the battlefield, the house always get advantage in the end and share profit to their investors which doesn't make sense if you get small portion from small amount of investment.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 08, 2017, 09:00:22 AM
As you can see, bitcoin value increase gradually so I'm suggest hold

I'll wait for 2k  Wink

I'm agree that you are target for 2 k but I guess that it will happen on 2019 since bitcoin will reach another halving and more people interest on bitcoin
Waiting for 2K just for sell in the end of the day? Daily traders make better profits than just wait I thought.
If winklevoss ETF get approval, bitcoin may reach $2000 faster than what we've predicted. 2019 to reach $2k? I don't think so, it takes too long, I bet we will see it.by the end of the year or in early 2018.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Backlog in the Blockchain on: February 07, 2017, 11:54:26 PM
If you want a smaller fees in bitcoin stay overnight before your bitcoin goes inside your wallet. Anyway it's cheaper to send btc using blockchain.info wallets this is according to my experience. That site also has a lightning fast transaction compared to other sites. So when you are doing business ask your client to use blockchain.info wallets so you can receive their payments very fast.

There is no significance what ever wallet you use in sending bitcoin. What matters is your fee per bytes. It will get thru whether you use electrum, blockchain or whatever wallet as long as you put large enough fees for miners to prioritize your transactions.
Some can afford to increase the fees,  but that's the problem for others.
Bitcoin attracted people, one of the advantages is lower fees for worldwide transaction and consider as fastest trasaction.
But, now it seems such as false promise for users if we should always pay higher fees but still need hours to get the transaction include to the next block. And they argue whether/when to increase the block size, we need it immediately.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 07, 2017, 05:57:58 PM
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino. Grin
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

How about you? are you sepertitious?  Smiley
I'm not, simply because I don't believe on such things to win in gambling.
Yes, maybe luck has big impact/role in your gambling activities but we need more to get good results, right.
Some has developed unique and smart strategies, some has learned from the past experiences and so on.
I prefer to follow others tips and consider it based on my research and intuition to guide me.
1145  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: February 07, 2017, 05:32:44 PM
both of them is difference, but to make it easier to understand, when you investing, you trust your money to someone and you don't need and can't do anything with your money until certain period, when you trading, you used your skill and knowledge to generate profit and you need to some work in trading, you need to pay attention to the chart and keep the updated news everyday

so when investing you depend on somebody else when trading you depend on yourself

Indeed, who's in charge of the funds is one of the differences between them.
But trading could consider as an investment too as your funds spend to buy in order to get more profits.
The best between trading and investing? Of course investing will win the vote, due to many better options to invest your money and some has higher chance to give high return. On the other hand, trading require experiences and knowledge to judge the market in the future, to gain profit.
1146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rally Could Be Stalled by Philippine Regulation on: February 07, 2017, 05:04:21 PM
To all those that  wanted regulation, controls and Government peering into your financial lives, here ya go: http://www.coindesk.com/philippines-just-released-new-rules-bitcoin-exchanges/

Effective today!

Next comes the taxation of your BTC transactions just like our big brother and Idol, the USA, does.

Enjoy mga Pinoy!!!
I would like to hear from the philippines, how the state of the exchanges market there? If exchanges have to pay taxes and submit every transaction or id of users, than it become a big disruption for them such as in USA. Whatever the government said, political economic interference has taken place in this situation to get the taxes in my opinion.
1147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh god, BTC might rise 25-50% this month! on: February 07, 2017, 04:20:25 PM
$2000 within a month.......

I'll have me some of that.
Don't get your hopes high just yet. It is more likely that SEC won't approve the Winklevoss ETF in 2017.
They don't need to give us a serious reason, they could just say it is risky business and markets is not ready for it.
IMO probability that will see positive SEC's reaction this time is less than 30%
Too many reasons that SEC could make to refuse ETF and Spencer Bogart who previously stated he thought the chances of approval for the Bitcoin ETF were “less than 25 percent,” . So, I agree that we suppose to not expecting so much. But it will be great if Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF get approval, is it could reach $2000 in a month? Let's see how is it going whether get approval or denied first.
1148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Using Banks, Paypal And Credit Cards! Let's Integrate Bitcoin Everywhere! on: February 07, 2017, 07:45:31 AM
Why do you allow to governments track your transactions?
Why do you you pay crazy taxes for banks, third parties?
Why don't be your own bank and use Bitcoin only?
Why don't create something that will allow worldwide users to buy everything with bitcoin?
Why do you cry about unconfirmed transactions instead of downloading wallet and supporting the bitcoin network?

Bitcoin's future depends on public acceptance, why do you cry of less bitcoin acceptance instead of doing something and creating bitcoin business right now?

Different reasons for everyone, but the main problem is bitcoin still not as an official payment that accepted everywhere.
We're not on suitable condition to leave banks system and fiat payment yet. As there are a lot to achieve/solve for bitcoin to become a major payment method. Yes, we need doing something but problem related to acceptance or bitcoin transaction need more than an intended to solve. For example : my last transaction, it's already 12 hours and still not confirmed, there is nothing I can do about it.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 07, 2017, 06:35:28 AM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?
For me, it's not worth to make small amount of investment, minimum amount maybe just for give it a shot but not reach minimum profits that I want. Imagine if you have 1btc to invest, minimum capital to invest 0.01btc, then how much it will give you return? Depends on percentage of profit sharing. I prefer to get more than only expect for small amount, it risky of course but offer higher return.
1150  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Doesn’t Western Union or Moneygram Use Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2017, 11:15:33 AM
I would say that when bitcoin really takes hold we will eventually see the end of western union and moneygram.
I doubt this is going to happen in our lifetimes, and probably not at all.

Bitcoin is only a $12 billion market.  That's too damn small to be using it as a worldwide currency.  Way too damn small.
I doubt it too as not all of transaction could handled by blockchain itself, so that we still need Western Union or other moneygrams.
But bitcoin actually could replace any service of moneygram that not using bitcoin as medium of transaction, we're heading to bigger market cap, $12 billion? It's not, man, $16.5 billion right now. And we will have significant increases by the end of the year, always like that.
1151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Mass Adoption even possible.. on: February 05, 2017, 11:44:04 PM
Mass adoption of a singular cryptocurrency (Bitcoin?) will be achieved when all or most of the following happens:

1) A single, unified cryptocurrency is collectively recognized on a worldwide scale by the majority of merchants, vendors, and users as a form of payment for products, services, and local currency exchange (if needed)

2) Marketcap inflates and scales to some fairly stable level with much lower volatility.

3) Inflation rate falls below 1%

4) Highly-decentralized proliferation of mining and nodes worldwide achieved through breakthroughs in inexpensive, low-power mining equipment (e.g., I imagine a future world where a small mining chip is in every household router, business routers, etc.)

5) Onramps from local currency --> cryptocurrency EVERWHERE, INEXPENSIVE (< 1% conversion), and FAST

6) Faster to make a small payment with the cryptocurrency than with traditional fiat/card (like almost instantaneous with offchain transaction, using nothing but a cell phone or dedicated device, etc.)

Achievable? I think so, and many other people do as well.  Many of these things are already in the works, others will just take time to breakthrough.

Yes, massive adoption is achievable and will overcome all the obstacles as time goes on.
1. A single won't ever possible as we have plenty of cryptocurrencies (if needed right)
2. Will be happen in the future if the price hit higher point such as $5000-10000, make market cap bigger which results stable price.
3. What kind of inflation?
4. Can be, but still need expensive cost, people to run it and maintenance.
5. Maybe about 60-70% already done.
6. Absolutely.
1152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! The Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: February 05, 2017, 06:15:02 PM
As long as people will embrace bitcoin because of its advantages over its disadvantages bitcoin will strive and continue, people who are saying it is dead by now are those people who dont want the suggested updates and will still not coordinate because their ego cant stand it and when the project been deployed and successful they feel miserable thats why they are talking trash about bitcoin.
All fluctuations in bitcoin nothing more than artificially made manipulations to panic in the market. At these cries that all was lost, scammers make money and buy bitcoin.
It's a funny thing to consider there is someone that actually spread a negative issues regarding bitcoin to create panic mass sell out and take an advantage from it, but I believe it's true. Just guessing why they keep manipulate the market, but they can't as huge amount of money needed. Daily fluctuations is a normal day for bitcoin and it will still rises as long as people still believe in bitcoin.
1153  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: February 05, 2017, 05:51:43 PM
Can you describe in detail how you solved the problem as I'm experiencing the same problem for 2 weeks now.

In what way could the chat support help you? When I ask them they always refer to security department.
How is it going h4ns, still can't login into your account? Hopefully your case will be resolve but 1xbit seems not active since 25th January. I've tried to look at your image evidences but it's not there anymore (page not found).
Just wondering how much you've won, last time of your bet? Was it triggered because you won so much?
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: February 05, 2017, 02:31:07 AM
I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh
Yes, they want to verify who you are, why? That's their policy in case to prevent any kind of money laundering due to strict regulations about it in every country. government eyes always looking at all of the exchanges as the main door for illegal activities, so they don't want to risk their existence. If you want to be anonymous/pseudonymous, just buy bitcoin from someone that you know (friends) or someone trusted who offers bitcoin, case closed.
1155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's TOYS, do you like it??? on: February 04, 2017, 01:18:09 PM
Do you think, most of the toys are here of most of the brands, so why not bitcoin will produce BITCOIN'S TOYS. it will make a help for publicity of Bitcoins???

toys?its for kids right?i suggest it not with toys if we want make bitcoin more publicity and popular, maybe if we create collectible items related bitcoin,or souvenir, its better way to promote and make bitcoin more popular.
Agreed, actually I'm looking for some souvenirs related to bitcoin such as t-shirt, key chain, coin of bitcoin just like we often see it in the news. Even though there is no any nearest merchant/person who sell it, maybe some informations about how to purchase it from overseas.
1156  Economy / Services / Re: 1XBIT Signature Campaign(FULL) on: February 03, 2017, 06:23:29 AM
I confirm received the payment.
Thanks a lot to 1xbit and our great manager Yahoo62278.
1157  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: February 02, 2017, 10:24:39 PM
Yes, it is very much possible to launder money with bitcoin and I am sure there are already many cases of this happening. This is also how most of the sites like bitmixer survive and are able to pay those big amounts out on signature campaigns. Since it allows people to be almost anonymous, therefore it is and will always be the best way for people to evade taxes and launder money. It is also the reason some governments are against it.

We know that bitcoin transaction is kept on blockchain which allowed people to traced it, the transactions are never truly anonymous.
Many illegal activities going through bitcoin but the evidence still there, including money laundering.
However, my concern about sites offering to mixer bitcoin, so it can't be traced right? But, I don't think those mixer sites will easily accept money laundering.
That's why some countries issued regulations about bitcoin and exchanges to prevent any kind of those transaction.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites on: February 02, 2017, 09:43:47 PM
I used to gamble without knowing any strategy to win the game that depends on luck so much such as dice.
Then, I turned my attention to sports betting that require analysis of each match.
Since I like to bet on sports especially football match in my country which I got it on 1xbit.
So far, the most sports betting I did on 1xbit site through my smartphone.
1159  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the capital found? on: February 02, 2017, 04:10:36 PM
How can someone who has no capital find the capital needed to start his own business?
Credit, Debt etc. What are alternative ways like?
Savings is the best way in my opinion, but you need an early start to get as much as you can.
Depends on what kind of business you want to do, however, many people had tried with small amount of capital and could manage the money and costumers which makes them have bigger budget right now. The best business is who can offer the best services that many people looking for it.
