1141  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 14, 2017, 04:51:28 AM
I think billionaires have invested in BTC, specially those who are rich because they own a tech based company like Bill Gates, who own microsoft. Who knows maybe the owner of Samsung and Apple might have invested into bitcoin but they don't tell others about it. It is also possible that Mark Zuckerberg invested on Bitcoin, if they do I hope they will consider to accept bitcoin in the future.
1142  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: June 14, 2017, 04:08:40 AM
It is very possible that bitcoin could be replaced by another crypto currency but I don't think any of those rising altcoins right now can replace it specially ethereum. We all know that there are many ICO's which are ethereum based tokens now that are successful, and that is what's driving ethereum price up is the funds they raise ethereum tokens during the ICO. Ethereum price right now is driven by speculation and greed, so I think it won't replace bitcoin.
1143  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: June 14, 2017, 02:11:50 AM
USD might fall to the ground but it wont really affect btc value. Not all people using bitcoin exchanges btc into us dollars, some change it into their country's fiat currency and because of this, bitcoin conversion will just be discussed not on USD terms but on other fiat's conversion rates. If that happens though, I wonder what currency we will use in discussing BTC price here in forum? Maybe in terms of gold or in terms of another fiat currency which is dominant at that time.
1144  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 14, 2017, 01:35:16 AM
I don't think being rich with Bitcoin depends on our personal values like hardship or determination. Because the most reasonable way to get rich with Bitcoin now adding more capital, with the prices that Bitcoin had recently its not optimistic to think that it will increase into more than 20,000$ each. So the idea is now through trading in which you take advantage of the volatility and match your buy and sell with it.
That can only make one rich if they have a huge capital but if they will start from scratch, they will really need to focus themselves into collecting bitcoin, offering their services, and trading it day to day making it increase. If someone can continue this within 3-4 years or more without ever converting any bitcoin at all into fiat until they have more than 100+BTC, they might be rich by the year 2020-2021.
1145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: June 13, 2017, 11:56:51 PM
There is a pretty low chance of living in a world with no actual money and using cryptocurrency as substitute to actual money because governments wont just let it happen. cryptocurrency would be just another way to pay online and offline when many people use it, and if that time comes real money, which is fiat will still be there used by people. Cryptocurrency will be used just like how we use credit card now by that time.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO.Casino - Blockchain Protocol for the Gambling Industry on: June 13, 2017, 11:25:01 PM
Seems that Ethereum with it's great potential is also suitable for projects in gambling area which is actualy good news. I'm sure that many users will be interested in his, especialy those who are looking for slightly different and inovative approach. Good luck with that, it has promising potential.
This project got a lot of potential as you said, because it is the first time that someone will open up the idea of using the ethereum protocol in online gambling dice sites, because the common provably fair explanation of most dice sites seems to not be that fair at all. With this players can play without ever losing money without them noticing. Goodluck to this project.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 13, 2017, 10:11:37 PM
Using low fees will only gives us a problem  because  of being delay in the transaction that
we are going to do. So right now, since I learn from my mistakes but of course I now I set it to highes fees so that it will
be fast.
It is really not a problem if you would not use it right away like OP said but the definition of low fee now can be considered high in the old days. I personally use low fees to transfer bitcoin when I am not in the hurry. Setting it to the highest fee is not always the solution though for a slow transaction. Sometimes, a 0.0005 BTC or 0.001 BTC fee is enough to get transactions confirmed in no time.
1148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Litecoin on: June 13, 2017, 04:09:28 PM
Bitcoin is easier to convert into fiat than litecoin so if I will choose between the two, I will invest into bitcoin. Also, I think if potential growth is discussed, bitcoin got more of it than litecoin because there is not a lot going into litecoin lately, while there are many developments are happening into bitcoin. Even if that's the case, I would like to invest in both because both still got potential to grow.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $8 fee? for a $73 transaction? Really what the fuc is going on? on: June 13, 2017, 01:01:16 PM
Guy's i am not a newbie around here, i work with bitcoin for 2 years now.
I know how i can change the fee, lower or higher, doesn't matter.
Point is, if this is how the blockchain will handle my transactions with this kind of fee i am out.
Even with many outputs i haven't paid this kind of fee, never! Made around 255 transactions.
I am not stupid, i am shocked about this high fee.
And if this kind of fee will be normal to pay i am out of Bitcoin.

There many others coins with better rates.

That's just how it is now it is either you put up with slow transaction and pay a low amount of fee or pay the recommended one to get your transaction confirmed faster. This kind of fee is normal for now so to solve this problem, just send your bitcoin earnings sent by others to an exchange if you will spend it or just simply send it to where you want it for you to not bother about the fee.

1151  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: investment long term on: June 12, 2017, 12:28:56 PM
1152  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [HOT]🔥EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP at B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: June 11, 2017, 11:58:57 AM
Magkano ICO price nito mga kuya? Nagbabalak kasi ako bumili sa low value ng ico price nito.

asa 3000 sats ata tuj sir up to 4600 sats.. but sa coinmarketcap asa 10000 sats ata ico price nito eh..
1153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any golden rules you follow in regards to investments? on: June 10, 2017, 03:45:12 AM
When I invest at a coin, there are two golden rules I follow. First golden rule is to not sell at a loss whenever possible unless things are not looking good for that particular coin. The second rule I follow is sell a coin in a profit as fast as possible unless I know it still got potential in it. I do it so that I can get secured profit already when I don't trust a coin to prevent losses.
1154  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin hit $ 500,000 by 2030? on: June 10, 2017, 02:22:55 AM
It is very possible that bitcoin will hit $500,000 by 2030 if adoption still continues to grow in the next coming years. I know it might be hard to reach that price by 2030 but I believe that bitcoin reaching $500,000 by 2030 is possible so I guess it might reach it. For now all I can do is wait to know if it will really reach that price by 2030 or not.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you really store MaidSafeCoin on BTC address? on: June 09, 2017, 11:47:52 AM
As far as I know you can store MaidSafeCoin on a BTC address but take note, the btc address where you will store it must be your own, I mean in your own is that you have complete control over the private key of the certain btc address where you will store your MaidSafeCoin. You just need to go to www.omniwallet.org when you need to send them somewhere by importing your btc address to it. You are right about storing a little BTC on the same address for the transfer fee. To answer your last question, I don't know if there are other coins that can be stored on BTC address other than MaidSafeCoin.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 09, 2017, 10:07:16 AM
People usually invest just to cheapen transactions or just to gamble, after all doge coin can be gambled in many gambling sites and is a lot faster to transfer compared to bitcoin. I personally buy doge to make transactions cheap just to get my btc out of an exchange with high fee which is livecoin for example then send all the doge I bought to another exchange that got low transaction fee in terms of btc.
1157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin crash or moon after august/sept implementation on: June 09, 2017, 08:25:48 AM
I think neither of the two choices will happen after august/september implementation if changes that has been implemented was good. The price might be the same as it is now or it will just move a little bit but if the change implemented is not good, maybe there would be a dump but still I wouldn't call it a crash because bitcoin price will only retrace that time.
1158  Economy / Speculation / Re: remember bitcoin on: June 09, 2017, 06:25:07 AM
I remember those days when many people were saying that bitcoin won't reach a thousand dollars but it reached greater heights than that. Although I believe that day that bitcoin will reach 1000$ someday, I thought it would be hard to reach like the others but still I kept a large portion of my bitcoin stash every time I sell during pumps and I'm glad I still have bitcoins to sell up to date and I'm glad I have not sold all.
1159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Philippines Officially Legitimize Bitcoin as Payment Method on: June 09, 2017, 04:35:25 AM
I'm glad that banko sentral officially legitimized bitcoin as payment method and for those who don't believe this, it is actually real because if it isnt, they would sue satoshi citadel industries and coins.ph, which are big companies related to bitcoin here in Philippines. It is quite good though that Philippines legalized bitcoin as payment method but right now I still don't feel it, because there aren't many stores that accept bitcoin here but maybe in the future there will be more.
1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ** Warning ** on: June 09, 2017, 03:11:57 AM
I think it is just a hoax because right now there are no reports saying that many people lost btc because if this is true I'm sure by now there will be some cases of lost btc. If something where to happen though and if this is real, then the man who posted the post in the picture might be the culprit. Thanks for the warning though OP.
