my plots folder has 3 files: 8211898084538024252_0_1600000_2000 , 8211898084538024252_1600001_3200000_2000 , 8211898084538024252_4800001_1600000_2000
Just because I want to expand the plots space , so I generated these 3 files for 3 times, is this ok ?? why the error reading always refer to the last file :8211898084538024252_4800001_1600000_2000 ??
The last file is still in generation i guess? Multiple files are fine though, np. i have question when my run_generate.bat created plot (simple plottoendwith=400000 for 100 gb hard drive) 4 hours past my plot created and auto close when done to writing from nonce 400000.i want restart my pc and mining after restart now again i created plot for mining or not can i use my last plot in my hard drive?
You don't have to recreate a plot, it is valid for all eternity, you only need to create more plots if you got spare space and want more "hashrate" you have to start with your ending nounce to make a usefull new one - when you rerun run_generate you basicly deleted your previously created one and started from scratch. simple i have 2Tb hard drive better i created one 2TB plot in my hard drive or 4 500gb plot ? Doesn't matter, no difference in mining at all.

Saw you post last night and really liked your new idea! So made you a logo. I don't need a bounty, but donations are welcomed ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FNl3hAe8.png&t=663&c=V9ACssl4602n6g) i like this one ... The bullets in the middle are a bit confusing but it's heading into the right direction ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Created passphrase by wallet, about 1 tb plots now, 7 blocks, ~30h
|
|
|
Mine is set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin
|
|
|
Step 4: Double click the run_dump_address .bat file
Step 5: check the address .txt file and retrieve your your account #
------------ why I get a empty address.txt??
Because you most likely havent added java to your path so it wont start to begin with.

What is the largest plot that can be created that still is efficient? Would a RAID0 array work fine for mining? I got a couple of 500GB drives I can put in RAID0 to make 2TB storage.
What can speed up the plot creation on the hdd?
Is it better to make multiple plots or one larger one? ie. 5x 200GB on a 1TB hdd or just 1x 1000GB on a TB hdd.
No idea, a few tb i guess Yes Lots of RAM and CPU cores Doesn't matter, it's only submitting the best anyway, im am creating multiple 250gb plots (1024000 size) because i like the value xD and move them onto my 2 tb hdd

Can i use mapped network disk from outside storage array ? For example i map network disk to my laptop i put pocminer and burn wallet on net disk and run plot on it ?
Yes but i wouldnt do that unless you are on a gbit network, everything else will be a bit slow.

Just compiled the new wallet, looking nice - the block explorer is more a crawler, you can't look into addresses like explorers do, still a nice thing to have.

My 270gb plots (1024000 range) take around 60s each to generate a share, with 240s blocktime around 1 tb is the limit for good old hdds xD
I have about 500 GB plots (stagger amount is 8191), take 5 second to search best nonce (I checked it using task manager - cpu and disk loading) and read about 100 MB from plots (about 500kB per 2GB plots - checked by task manager and by logging). Edit:About unconfirmed/guaranteed balance. If I remember correctly you need 1440 confirmations. yes , it is like the nxt system ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . When it will be received 1440 conf. the money will be appear in your wallet. 4 days mature time...

I am generating on the same i7 with 6 threads and i didnt really time it, just estimated guess so it might be lower once my 2 TB hdd is full xD
The stagger size shouldn't affect mining though, just how often the plot is written from ram to hdd.

Installing 64 Bit java finally solved my -Xmx4000m problem, i can generate plots with 8096 chunks now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

i have 100 gb free in my hard drive and mining now and my plottoendwith=400000 for 100gb free. what happen when my hard drive full?mining stop or generate new plot or deleted last plot and make new generate file??
You will always mine with your generated plot, your chance will just not increase any further Bigger plots -> higher block chance - it says somewhere that your used hdd space is basicly your hashrate.

Found 4 blocks with around 700gb of plots within 20h - might be luck though ^^
