1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any other games working with crypto? on: January 04, 2020, 12:46:58 PM

For crypto game, I have been playing Rankingball for awhile since i like NFL and NBA.

And i earned quite amount of its crypto.

Are there any other games working with crypto?

Maybe this year there will be more crypto games. Because many of the first released games have had success, not only the game vendor, but gamers also have a lot of advantages, hopefully other platforms will soon follow, considering that there are many game enthusiasts who like to play while investing.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters answers needed on: January 03, 2020, 03:58:39 PM
What would you do if you've been promoting a project for over a month and the bounty manager refused to update spreadsheet? After getting in touch with admin on telegram channel they keep saying no update from team yet, what will be the best decision if you are in my shoe?
Nearly some of the campaigns that I followed had managers in effect, so this is a natural thing and you don't need to worry about this, I used to worry, but after sharing and following a few campaigns I was calm and not in a hurry to conclude that the manager is not responsible answer. Hopefully with some advice from seniors and colleagues in this community you will be calm.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: January 03, 2020, 01:36:07 PM
For those who don't know or are addicted to browser extensions you need to be careful because many browser add on are dangerous and they can steal data and keys from your PC, the latest dangerous extension is Ledger chrome extension which is fake, this add on does nothing than steal your backup recovery phrase

The source is right below
https://nulltx.com/fake-ledger-chrome-extension-causes-major-problems/amp/
Yes, this is important information, some people might ignore something this small. But who would have thought of this small thing could result in a great danger. Indeed, some add-on web like to steal data without us knowing it, as much as possible we have to minimize errors because we are not careful. Maybe I will try to discuss this with some of my relatives so that I don't miss this valuable information. Thank you
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: January 03, 2020, 11:40:30 AM
On 22 May 2010, Laszlo Hanyecs made the first ever real world transaction with Bitcoin, buying two pizzas in Jacksonville, Florida for 10,000 BTC. Today, 10,000 BTC is worth $72,180,800 - now that’s some pricey pizza. Since then, the cryptocurrency community has grown in leaps and bounds and paying with crypto is more accessible than ever.

We’ll be taking a look at how many merchants accept cryptocurrency payments, including how to pay using Bitcoin, how to pay with Litecoin, how to pay with Ethereum, Dash and Bitcoin Cash. It’s time to get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28hkTJMuTA

Top cryptocurrencies accepted by merchants worldwide

5. Dash (DASH)
Coming in at number 5, Dash makes it onto the list of the top cryptocurrencies accepted worldwide. Dash, originally known as Darkcoin and XCoin, is a privacy coin that keeps things totally private for its users. Evan Duffield, the creator of Dash, decided to found his own coin after seeing the shortfalls created by Bitcoin and Litecoin. Dash is a hard fork of Litecoin (LTC), and has faster transaction feeds and more privacy than LTC. You can pay with Dash at 124 verified companies. The actual number is probably a lot higher, but for the sake of this article we’ll just be looking at verified merchants.

4. Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a fork of Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash was founded on 1 August 2017, as a response to rising Bitcoin network fees. Since its inception, Bitcoin had maintained a common set of rules for the coin, however certain community members were unhappy with how the blockchain was developing, and they decided to split, resulting in Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is currently the 5th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, and is available to trade on most trading platforms, like eToro, and exchanges. You can pay with Bitcoin Cash at 199 verified merchants.

3. Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin was launched in 2011, as a fork of Bitcoin. Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC), aimed to combat some of the shortcomings facing Bitcoin, including faster transaction speeds and block propagation (one block in 2.5 minutes instead of 10 minutes as on the Bitcoin blockchain), and a larger total supply (84 million LTC to 21 million  BTC). What to know how to pay with Litecoin? It’s easily available, with 205 verified merchants accepting LTC as a form of payment.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj-CVgnkFZM

2. Ethereum (ETH)
It probably comes as no surprise that Ethereum sits at the second position on this list. Ethereum is the second largest coin by market cap, sitting only behind Bitcoin. Founded in 2015, Ethereum brought smart contracts to the cryptocurrency space. Since then, Ethereum has gone on to become one of the most successful coins on the market. With the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade coming up sometime in 2020, Ethereum will be faster, more secure and more scalable, making it even more ideal for transactions. You can pay with ETH at 272 verified merchants.

1. Bitcoin
Obviously Bitcoin sits at number one on this list. Bitcoin is arguably the most mainstream of all of these coins, and sits with the largest market cap by far. Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever, by and large because of the existence of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, and remains the most popular one. Websites like Wikipedia, Microsoft, Overstock, and Shopify are amongst those companies and retailers that accept Bitcoin payments. Bitcoin is considered legal in the USA, Malta, Nigeria, Japan, and dozens of other countries around the world. As of now, you can pay with Bitcoin directly at 453 verified merchants. However, there are also crypto cards like BitPay, Bitcoin payments are super simple.

https://twitter.com/jack/status/1092914316729147392

Want to get your hands on some BTC? You can buy directly from eToro, or trade the cryptocurrency - and all the others on the list - and make some money by accurately predicting the market movements. That’s right, you can make money even if the cryptocurrency’s value is down. Get those Bitcoin payments rolling.

Accessibility
As mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency grows, so will the number of merchants accepting crypto payments. Already, paying with crypto is more accessible than ever and that’s unlikely to stop any time soon. As we move forward, more and more countries will likely begin to see the promise of cryptocurrency and how the technology can help us transition into a digital world. This industry is on the up, more and more merchants accept cryptocurrency payments than ever before, and it’s pretty clear that the bitcoin payments and cryptocurrency payments market will continue to grow.

https://forums.nakamotonews.network/t/paying-with-crypto-is-more-accessible-than-ever/1913

It all depends on state policy, honestly until now I have practically practically illegal transactions, because there has been no official statement about the status of cryptocurrency, as for merchants who can receive payments via cryptocurrency can be counted, even large retailers here have not received payment methods with cryptocurrency. But this is what I have to go through, in some places it is enough to be grateful rather than not being able to at all, from the list I only use bitcoin and ETH to make transactions, because their exchange rates are quite high. And maybe I'll try some of these for other options, thanks for the reference
1145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: January 03, 2020, 06:20:35 AM
2019 was like a very bumpy road and there's no end to those bumpy road. So many ups and downs for me personally.
I've loss quite a lot of my investment and gained quite a lot as well. You could say it's pretty good actually. Not that great but not that bad either.

It's not really affecting my financial status or anything, but I was hoping 2019 could be better than it was. A few of projects I've joined in 2019 was like a tiny light of hope in the darkness which were surrounding by bad luck and things lmao.

Well, hopefully 2020 will be a better in many ways. We're still in the very beginning of this year, can't wait to see what will become of this year.
True, what happened in 2019 is still quite good when compared to 2018, for me in 2019 it was more than enough, there were some projects that made me sad and there were also some rescue projects, the cycle went that well. Most importantly what I have achieved in 2019 will be better this year, according to what is expected and the market is improving.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 02, 2020, 03:53:57 PM
My brothers, anything crypto currency is highly volatile, don't hope on a hopeless hope, whenever you see profit, take it.

I will keep saying it,
in crypto currency profit is the game, you can always take your profit no matter how small and you will be happier at d end

Like I always say, small money in ur bank account is far better than $3k in ur online crypto wallet/exchange,

it can only be better the moment it's converted to your local currency.

Invest in crypto, safeguard your profit.

NB: Just my believes and mindset, I would love to learn even further from everyone here.
Ignore my English too

Happy new year.
The smallest profit will still be called profit, meaning how we can maximize these benefits so that it can be more useful, than we try to make big profits but full of worries, of course it will disturb our calm and our essence can be consistent and commitment here. People who are first here must have felt the impact of joining him here, especially those who joined from 2017 onwards, I think they are the ones who already understand and know the best way to maximize their assets.
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: January 02, 2020, 02:21:09 PM
I need lists of projects that were thought to be scam and faced many wrong accusations but in the end still thrive and become successful today, any? I believe not all project that appears to be scam ends up been scam because people suspect them to be
I also had the same opinion, there are several projects that are important in payment. But still paid in the future, there is also a delayed in exchange. Back to the relationship factor between several people who are often involved in scamm and participate in the project. So we all have to examine in detail about the projects that we will follow.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your view on current crypto market? on: January 02, 2020, 12:54:28 PM
What's your view on current crypto market?
The market is now beginning to improve and hopefully will continue to provide positive trends day after day. If it continues like this, I don't think there is anything to worry about this year. Most importantly we must also be sure that investors will return and fund each project that exists and also the loss of scamm from circulation.
1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee in Trouble ? on: January 02, 2020, 07:47:26 AM
Bitcoin Must Gain 13,800% in 2020 to Stop John McAfee Eating His P****s like promised  Cheesy i can't wait to see the end result already, you can click on this link for full news

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-must-gain-13-800-in-2020-to-stop-john-mcafee-eating-his-words/amp
Not McAfee if his statement did not create a very surprising controversy. There is no need to worry about the opinions expressed by McAfee. He spoke without analysis and he was related to several scammable projects and to date he has never regretted his actions. So when McAfee makes an opinion, I am more interested in ignoring it, because he only thinks of himself without thinking of the interests of many people
1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The 6 Biggest Cryptocurrency Fails of 2019 on: January 02, 2020, 05:52:26 AM
In the past decade, the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry has gone from being the domain of computer engineers and coders to a widely recognized field brimming with potential and promise.

However, although the industry has witnessed impressive growth fueled by the success of several cryptocurrencies and the platforms that facilitate their use, it has also seen its fair share of epic failures.

If I were to choose among the six, it's Justin Sun's cancelled dinner with Warren Buffett...

Since he paid a lot of money to have a one-on-one dinner with the legendary (but a crypto critic) Warren Buffett, this is clearly much-anticipated. However, he cancelled the dinner and we were kinda pissed off as it's going to possibly change Warren Buffett's mindset about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

And about the Tesla giveaway by Justin Sun? Well, it's because the video can't be uploaded due to it's "large size". He could have chosen another platform for the community to upload the video rather than Twitter, which in fact, not using common sense.

Among the 6 cryptocurrency failures of 2019, which one will you choose as the worst of them all?
I focus on ETH and bittorrent among the 6 projects that failed in 2019, the failure of ETH here we know is an error in the hard drive that caused the price to not be expected, and also the timeframe that eventually led to a delay in the launch of ETH 2.0, but the most attention seems to be bittorrent, had soared and driven by the TRON blockchain system but had to fall and experience a difficult phase. Whatever is the obstacle 6 coins in 2019 hopefully can be fixed this year. I really hope everything gets better
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 01, 2020, 03:57:33 PM
It's 2020 and what a time to be alive, bitcoin halving is around the corner and from history it has always favoured  the price of bitcoin and as altcoins mostly depend on Bitcoin rally to moon, we're in good hands. Try to avoid falling prey to scammers using fake giveaway to steal your coins. Increase your security and store your coins in private wallets not exchange. The market will begin recovery soon, don't be too smart wanting to cashout on every profit you see, it might make you lose future profits. Be patience, believe in the process. Cryptocurrency is the future.

Happy New year to every Bitcoiner and Altcoiners out there, 2020 is a year with numerous opportunities, don't let those opportunities pass you by but still apply caution in every decision you make in 2020. I wish you all a profitable year.
Happy new year, hopefully what we hope for this year will really happen, the resolution for this year is that everything that harms and becomes a disease in cryptocurrency can at least be reduced. Let's prepare and re-arrange all strategies for trading and investing in cryptocurrency. Our best prayer for the market turning point will begin this year, don't forget to start targeting which coins we are aiming for and don't fall into a project that only irritates us. Good luck everyone
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 888,888 KickTokens Frozen Drop to each of 167,375 crypto users on: January 01, 2020, 11:07:22 AM
Kicktokens decided to do frozen drop to some random crypto users and interestingly I received it on two of my Ethereum addresses.

Condition to unlock the frozen drop is still unknown. Airdrops are good to attract the attention of users.

Anyone here who got lucky and got the Airdrop as well?

Some of us might accept this, but I personally am not interested in this coin, this is shitcoin and certainly very few who want this, unless those coin collectors who want to have many collections will be interested, this is just a mere collection, not for sale or investment. Because their prices are really bad.
1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 Cryptocurrency Marketplaces on: December 31, 2019, 03:09:58 PM
Hello all,

I found this very interesting article about the top marketplaces based around Cryptocurrency. What do you think about the current cryptocurrency marketplaces such as OpenSea? Are there anymore that the article missed out on? You can read the article by clicking on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/top-3-cryptocurrency-marketplaces-xdxrwr?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Well, it can't be denied, these three are the top ranks in the marketplace in cryptocurrency, my favorite origin protocol, because I can trade with the ETH that I have, plus the three of them have very good exchange systems and the systems they have that make them dominate the marketplace that they have exist in cryptocurrency. The point is for other marketplaces to emulate and try better so we have lots of options for the marketplace
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: December 31, 2019, 01:09:07 PM
Altcoin is not increasing for so many days. New money is not coming in market. So Always invest in good Top 30 Altcoins for being Safe.
This is a risk when we invest or trade here, going up in price which is surprising every day, I think all we need to do now is be patient. And also the many altcoins that are still developing and have not found its strength, the top 30 altcoins, I think, are also not a promising guarantee because they are all registered and also experience ups and downs in prices. So when we jump here we all must be prepared with all the risks that exist.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Much WOW?!?! on: December 31, 2019, 12:35:17 PM
I've recently read where the beginning of the New Year will also bring an Ethereum Hard Fork which will in turn increase inflation by a monumental 20%!!! What in terms of price and overall well being of Ether and it's future will this decision make? Any thoughts, comments and speculations are as usual, more than welcome. Thanks and a Happy Holidays.
ETH always makes a happy surprise, and almost everyone is waiting for this. I'm not wrong when choosing ETH as a mainstay coin after bitcoin and it seems that many people are also doing the same thing. What is clear is that we are just waiting for news when this will all be realized. Plus there was something surprising when ETH raised inflation by 20%. I think all will hope for more success for ETH in the coming year.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 31, 2019, 09:11:26 AM
BNB was one of the most profitable exchange tokens before a while but now the value has dropped by over 50% as it's trailing at a mere $14 as of now and the same was above $35 in the month of June. If this trend continues then the BNB will lose its potential and investors. BNB was one of my favorite tokens which have crashed terribly, what do you think will be the future of this token?
Because the market is weak, it certainly affects the existing coins and tokens. BNB was popular and a short-term favorite, but now the market has a different will. Many tokens are weakened and eventually disappear from circulation. Next year it will probably be a resurrection of existing coins and tokens. Hopefully this really happens so we don't have to worry anymore to survive.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: December 30, 2019, 07:16:39 PM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?

The thought is good. But kn the other hand, I will advive that you run a 1 year plan instead of 6 months since you cant predict market conditions for now. And when the money increases at anytime over the space of the 1 year, tmyou can cash out. Its safer that way than the 6 month

I think it would be more realistic to make a one-year plan. Making a one-year plan for Bitcoin or Ethereum now makes sense. Prices may go lower. Separate some capital for purchase from low prices. When the ascents arrive, sell at your targeted prices. However, do not invest all your assets in this market only.
I also did the same thing, where I had to make two decisions for a period of at least one year in the future, I still believe in bitcoin and ETH to be the top two choices for one year. And several other stable coins to strengthen my two main coins. And so far it has always been going well and in my opinion regardless of the ups and downs of existing market prices
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut crypto loss at no cost on: December 30, 2019, 06:15:15 PM
If you lost a lot in crypto trading or missed big waves, stock some coins for free. That will make you feel much better.

Here is such a coin, of good potential.

-- STHCOIN --
* More secure than Bitcoin
* Coin transfer is instant (++)
* Ultra-low transaction fee
* CPU-mined only

Coins can be obtained via frequent lottery as well as various ways of contribution. For example, refer your friends. While helping STHCOIN to grow, you earn 50 coins for each successful referral.

Check it out at https://www.soothing.center

++: To a certain type of addresses
I can not understand why you can give references like this, I am afraid that colleagues who will open an existing site give phishing, I think you need to reconsider before recommending something
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Just Had A Field Day on Nuls. $480k Worth Token Stolen on: December 30, 2019, 05:17:02 PM
Blockchain platform Nuls has lost almost $480,000 worth of NULS tokens due to a hack, according to a security update tweeted on Dec. 22.

In its tweet, Nuls said it had detected that 2 million tokens had been transferred, of which 548,354 tokens — worth roughly $131, 600 — had entered the trading market and were now untraceable.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/hackers-grab-nearly-480k-from-blockchain-platform-nuls?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social

Will there be a remedy for the incessant hacks in 2020?
This is the umpteenth time, when a sophisticated defense system, the hacker also develops and adapts to that sophistication. It is undeniable that this will continue to happen, and what is astounding is the $ 480,000 token should just disappear. And of course you need a high level of intelligence to hack the blockchain.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: December 30, 2019, 02:37:44 PM
I've been following the trend news of central banks creating their own digital currencies but a question have since then troubling my mind.

1. These new Central Bank coins are they going to be stable coins or not?
2. What will happen if they are not stable coins? If holding them will be profitable many will leave crypto space and focus on these new coins?
3. Maybe people will just use them as a plus since it's from the government?
4. Will regulations still come after this? I think other coins will be neglected and regulations will only be for coins from government?

This is all just our hope and for sure we want something stable, and the best for cryptocurrency. But here we see a limitation due to the role of the government, but hopefully it will not be a factor that causes instability that has an impact on falling prices and falling markets.
