11442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: July 24, 2016, 06:42:19 PM
If anything has a future then Bitcoin is this thing. There are many advantages this coin has and many of them were already mentioned in this thread and I'm gald that many people see their future with Bitcoin.
11443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: July 22, 2016, 02:16:12 PM
Eth bubble is about to pop pull put while you can. I just sold all my ether for btc and bought 500 LTC which is a far more stable and safe coin to store value in. Think about it what has ether done to deserve $14 value??

Is it used as a currency - NO
Is it widely used for smartcontracts - NOT AT THIS STAGE
Does it have solid design - NOPE ITS FULL OF BUGS

The only thing holding the price up at the moment is hype, once that dies down ether is going down to $1-$2 range.

Yet, more than 5 months later we have almost the same price for ETH. I'm wondering myself what keeps the price of ETH on this level, but it looks like the coin is not going to die. Some say it even will rise more in the near future.
11444  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2016, 10:03:26 AM
just tell to her that with bitcoin you can buy clothing Grin

that's a good idea, i will try it Wink
i will introduce my girlfriend how to buying a clotch with bitcoin, hope she is interesting to use bitcoin , so i can introduce how to earning it too.
yes that is really a very good idea. but if you add that you can even pay the beauty paler free from bitcoin i think that will be enough for them to motivate. they will then not leave you unless you not teach her about bitcoin.
I thought that maybe women would not be interested in what you say maybe they are more interested in the clothes that you buy because
I ever used this way and my girlfriend had never asked anything about bitcoin. and I have said that I buy clothes with bitcoin?

Yeah women's are not interested in listening about bitcoin, so the best way to introduce them with bitcoin is, introducing them through clothes, jewlary, make up kits etc, like give them a discount if they make account on bitcoin or give them a good discount if they will work for bitcoin.
i think it is more easy to motivate women as compare to men. they just need some techniques. they will hear to you and will understand you very quickly but if you show them some facour.

I disagree, Women are harder to convince than men, coz men is more open minded than women , they actually can coupe up everything easily ex. Internet things related. Women have different way, they dont want things that are complicated, if you try to introduce bitcoin to them im sure they will not get interested, if you tell them that with bitcoin you can buy cloth jewelries etc. , maybe theres a possible interest that would make them curios about bitcoin.

What are you talking about? I know a lot of examples which say exactly the opposite. Your perception of women is from the Middle Ages. There are a lot of women nowadays who know much more in the field of new technologies than most men do.
11445  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: July 22, 2016, 09:07:10 AM
Advice, tips, speculation please.

First of, you are lucky you have that much. Being in your place I'd just hold them doing nothing because that's a big money and investing is too risky IMO.

But if you are going to invest anyway, just avoid Cloud Mining and be very carteful with the rest.
11446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 22, 2016, 09:00:28 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

Gambling is not a problem for me because I don't lose much money with it. I'm comig back because it's fun and I like to spend some time gambling and chatting with other gamblers. Just don't gamble with what you can't afford to lose, that's it.
11447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to talk about BTC for friend or Family ?? Have a problem for understand this on: July 22, 2016, 08:54:45 AM
You are experiencing the same problem as me ?? Please, Let me know how to say it for my friend or family !!

IMO it's almost impossible to explain someone who have no idea about it what Bitcoin is and why it's good to buy it for the real money. I tried many times but I always hear something like this: " It's internet, you know, don't trust to what you see there, it's not real." ... Maybe only after you become rich due to Bitcoin, they'll hear you.
11448  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: July 21, 2016, 04:11:50 PM
I think that in the long run they are going to be bad for the oil industry because I think that more people are going to go over to electric cars.
At the moment it is not a problem but in the future it will be.

In the long run, we will run out of oil.  Smiley
Will that lead to more electric cars, or will electric cars lead to the demise of the oil industry?

When we run out of oil(whuich I think will never happen) maybe something new will be created instead of electric cars. People might want to go back to horse carriages, who knows?
11449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: July 21, 2016, 10:46:39 AM
Perhaps the uncertainty regarding the volatility.

Maybe you are right but this looks strange to me. Is Bitcoin the only volatile thing in the world? Just take a look at the price of gold in the last 5 years or some other countries currencies, many of them are volatile too.

IMO ignorance is the main reason why people are not using Bitcoin.
11450  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: July 21, 2016, 10:19:21 AM
I think that Bitcoin is pretty safe to use but there are always scammers active so look out for those people.
If you are just doing your own thing and not pay other people attention you should be alright.

yes the most terrible thing is a scammer, you should stay away from investments that are not clear or looks like HYIP.

it is best to hold bitcoin to wait for the price to rise or trading. I think the best way is far from scammers.

I agree, it's better to avoid anything which looks like HYIP. Bitcoin itself is a safe investment but there are a lot of scammers around so you it's better to be very careful.
11451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: July 21, 2016, 09:28:38 AM
There is no gambling strategy to win BTC forever, the best is to stay away from gambling.

That's not what this topic about. It's exactly about a "gambling strategy" it's rather about "saving your money strategy" or "limit loss strategy". But in general I agree with what you've said.
11452  Other / Archival / Re: Where you get Bitcoin ? on: July 21, 2016, 09:04:31 AM
Faucet ? Cloud Mining ? Mining ? HYIP ? Any more ?

1. You can get only from little to nothing using faucets and some sites with faucets have viruses so I don't recommend looking for faucets at all.

2. Cloud Mining is even worse than faucets because with Cloud Mining you really lose what you already have.

3. HYIP is almost the same as Cloud Mining.

Mining is good but lately I make more doing some services like translating things or helping people with their small projects.
11453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wish the halving Come Next year or Just never Come on: July 20, 2016, 10:31:39 AM
Finally I got a writing job in a website for bitcoin . which can earn me 0.5 to 0.7 btc A month..
I got this job after 1 year surviving and surfing in the bitcoin land and doing simple works and search for jobs every day.

and now I got what I want but. I feeel very fear because of the halving..

I am afraid that if bitcoin price increase to double in the halving then the company who paying me 0.5 btc month can reduce my salary.
and I really don't want that..
after so many days I got a chance to collect some bitcoins but halving is coming between me and my opportunity...

I am praying to GOD that halving may come next year. and till than I will collect 10 to 15 btc for sale..

what you guys think? do you also need time to collect bitcoins before halving? or you are just ready to halving in this month. (11 July 2016)?
only 10 days to go.

So now you can see that you shouldn't have been worrying. Bitcoin is $670 which is almost the same price which was in 1 of July, so they shouldn't reduce your salary.
11454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 08:34:08 AM
Doubling Bitcoin is the same thing as doubling any money, if you want to make it fast you'll most likely lose everything, but if you are making a long term investment in something trustworthy you may double them with some time. The only difference is that with Bitcoin you can do nothing except holding them and they will be doubled in a year or two.
11455  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How old is earth on: July 20, 2016, 08:25:41 AM
How old do you think Earth is? Why?

I think nobody can answer this question correctly. Scientists use Radiometric dating and they believe they are pretty accurate in their calculations, but what if the speed of the radioactive decay was different say 5 thousand years ago than it is now?
I too think that scientist really predict the age of the earth. everything can not be explained. We may never truly know the age of the earth.

I think you were going to say "scientist can't really predict the age of the earth" and by predict you meant determine. Yes, they can't. They say the age of the Earth is 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years, but this assertion is based on radiometric age dating which might be not accurate.
11456  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 20, 2016, 08:06:41 AM
Money cant buy anything, even if you are the richest man alive, there is a one thing you cant buy. For me rich stands for ,happy family,
It cannot buy everything but it sure makes life easier. You need money to have a good and secure life. And you need money to feed and shelter your happy family. That is why you work hard and try to make yourself rich, so you can provide for your happy family. And to make sure they have what they need when they need it.

Agreed, but that's not what the word rich stands for. Just to shelter your family you don't need to be rich, you just need to have enough. When you are rich it generally means you have more than enough and that's not a good thing IMO, so, OP, don't ask how to get rich because you actually don't want troubles rich people have.
11457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 20, 2016, 08:00:51 AM
It's really up to you whether consider it wrong or not. I think if you gamble away money which people around need for food and other things than it's wrong, but if you only gamble with what you can afford to lose - it's okay IMO.
11458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: July 20, 2016, 07:56:32 AM
Let's say I generate a new address and by some miracle it has Bitcoin already in it belonging to somebody else. Is it legal to just take it? I understand those odds are very low, no need to lecture me, I'm just interested.

Well, the probability of that happening would be close to transformation of your clothes in the washing machine into packs of US Dollars. Is that a forgery of bank bills? I don't know,  it's better to consult a lawyer.
11459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POKEMON GO LIKE SITE TO PLAY FOR BITCOINS? on: July 19, 2016, 09:28:10 AM
Nope. Your not going to go around carrying your computer, open into the outdoors with the computer camera pointed forward. You wouldn't even know when you found a pokemon expect for sounds, and I'm not sure how bitcoin can be integrated. A mobile site is out of the question, since I don't think they can use the camera, and even if they could, the game would be very laggy. If this were to happen, it would need a standalone app.

yes especially if bitcoin accepted in payment systems pokemon game. it will be good news. all pokemon game players will use bitcoin. and bitcoin will become greater.
I bet most people, like over 99% of the players won't use bitcoin.

Yes, probably it is so for now, but things might change. If the players discover that buying various premium items for the game is easier with Bitcoin than they will use Bitcoin, why not.
