Here is my surprise single bets for Premier League today:
Hull City v Chelsea - Half Time Score: 1 - 1 @ 8.80
Sunderland v West Bromwich Albion - Half Time Score: 1 - 1 @ 8.60
Watford v Bournemouth - Correct Score: 1 - 1 @ 6.60
West Ham v Middlesbrough - Half Time Score: Any Team To Score 3+ by HT @ 21

Those are all long shots.  Lol.  But those are fun bets to make while watching those games live.

Anyway, what's wrong with Chelsea?  They are getting owned out there by Hull of all clubs.  Mason and Snodgrass are playing really well because Chelsea is allowing them to.

Anybody else thinks it will be another low scoring match again for Man United?  It feels like they're gonna have a hard time finding the back of the net again.  First half will be 0 - 0 and then they will manage to squeeze a goal somehow at the second half.  Typical Man United...  With the quality that they have they are giving mediocre performances for their supporters.

FCT/BTC:  The Same Pattern Over and Over

I have posted a couple of charts going through the same pattern, namely XMR/BTC and DASH/BTC.  Although the volatility of the three differ the pattern and the behavior are almost identical.  You also have to keep in mind that these three cryptocurrencies were the part of ones that trended up nicely for a couple or more months.

So what does this mean?  Will see more of these in the coming months?  Are we entering another phase of bearish outlook?  Is to short the way to make profit at the moment?  You decide.

Tomorrow I will go for Everton v C Palace. For some reason C Palace usually takes the best out of Everton so I will risk my coins on them. I will not bet much, and I will stay on the draw or away, but the odds are good and it's not an easy game for Everton so it could happen.

Everton v C Palace
Draw or Away @ 2.18

I would just like to say thanks for making me aware of this bet.  I also made a bet of under 2.5 goals as I mentioned from a previous post that I think it will happen that way.  Those are the only bets that I like and made for the weekend plus the under 2.5 goals in the LCFC vs the Southampton match.

Benteke's goal (header) looked really good.  I wonder why Liverpool let him go.  I like him better than Sturridge and he could be a better player in the coming years imo.

TA does not really work on small markets like the altcoin market. I have tried many times using TA in Poloniex but failed many times. The markets are really unpredictable and I always lose money trading coins in short term. Would you mind sharing some of your tips in TA?

That's absolutly not true. Thanks to TA you can make money with the shittest coin on poloniex  Wink

Imho, it all comes down to style and what works for you.  If day trading doesn't work for you, why not try a longer term approach like swing trading.  But whatever you do, never ever buy and hold.  That is just plain laziness and blindly being hopeful and wishful that your favorite coin will rise huge.  It's also the fast road to bagholder's land.

Everton, a team that have many goals when they play against middle team. I pick over 2.5 goals and both teams to score. I predict this match have many goals, and can go up to 3-4 goals.

I pretty much doubt that.  I can see both squads defending well for this match.  Everton has good attacking options but it's still not really convincing.  We've seen their brilliance vs Middlesborough and Sunderland but come on, those aren't the clubs that will put them to the test.  Crystal Palace could be one of the clubs that could put them to the test imo as I think Alan Pardew will take them to the top 10 this season.

So yeah, I like patt0's bet.  I might make the same bet if the line moves higher.

Edit:  I also like the under 2.5 at 2.06 for this match.
disagree with under 2.5 goals bet , this time will be over 2.5 goals
recent matches of both did not affect to the all time head to head
both frequently scored , even in the last 3 season everton struggling to beat crystal palace
i only agree with the draw or away , maybe 1-2 for crystal palace

We'll just have to see the results later.  I could be wrong but I got a strong feeling on this one.

I'm also thinking of betting the under 2.5 goals on Leicester vs Southampton but the line went down from 1.86 to 1.76 losing value.  I should have pulled the trigger when I saw it.

Fading volume means consolidation

In downtrend you don't need big volumes to show their validity ...

Or it could also mean that the current trend is over because the driver (or drivers) of the pump has left, leaving a headless horse.

Quote
Dash has been consolidating (it may still break downwards) and Monero just broke a support on which it bounced 4/5 times.

We've seen better TA

Yup, I will be the first to admit that.  But to my defense all those lines and indicators shown by some here in the forum don't work most of the time either.  I'd rather go for 'less is more' and avoid getting distracted.

Are we going to enter an altcoin bear market?  All the coins and tokens seem to be flat or are starting to go down except for maybe a few ones.  XRP seems to be having a decent run but it's kinda choppy.

Keep an eye out for the McClarens in practice.  They will be testing Honda's latest engine upgrades.  But actual use would have to wait until the race in Austin to avoid any penalties for the Japanese Grand Prix.  Hopefully the upgrades are good enough to put them a tad higher on the grid in the future remaining races.

I just watched the replay of the Man United vs Zorya game.  Man United looks so slow out there.  I can't quite put my finger on it but they need a little bit of explosiveness, especially in the midfield.  Fellaini shouldn't be played with Pogba imo, he was almost nonexistent in the middle.  Might was well get a cardboard cut out of him instead of the real version.

XMR/BTC:  Is the Current Trend Over?

Well it looks like the current uptrend might be over for now.  Like anything gravity affects it and pulls it down only to be ready for another run up.  It doesn't matter if it's a stock, a commodity or a currency, it just happens.  The bottom line is there will always be trends and there always will be volatility.  The good news is that's where you can make your profit as traders (or aspiring traders).

In XMR's case, it might be a good idea to try and profit at both sides of the trend.  Putting in a small short position to hedge your long position (if you're a super long term, hardcore XMR holder) is a good idea to reduce the volatility of your portfolio in times when it's going down.  Imo, if it can go that fast going up, the same could happen going down.  So hedging might not be such a bad idea.

If you're just a pure trader trying to earn some BTC, then now is a good time to put in a short position imo.  But as always, be careful and don't listen to any trading advice given by random guy from the internet.  Grin

Looks like big sam is going to be sacked.  For some reason the market is currently putting steve bruce and next fav to get the job, wtf? I would bet against this he has no credentials as a manager.
i'm pretty surprise to see the news that he leaves england team after one match and that mean he coaching england only 67 days however i do agree with you steve bruce isn't good manager for england and i think FA should find another coach as replace big sam

FA always making weird decisions if it comes to hiring the coach for England national team. In the past they hired Roy Hodgson and now Steve Bruce? If they really want to hire English coach, then there are few of them whom better than Bruce like Harry Redknapp and Alan Pardew.

I like Alan Pardew better.  His style is balanced, he keeps a cool head and is somewhat smart in choosing his first XI.  There was also a season when he was with Newcastle that went brilliantly.  I remember Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse were both killing it at front.  They were such a delight to watch.
11514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 29, 2016, 04:29:12 AM
Wow Bayern Munich lost 1-0 almost nearly 2-0  if Antoine Griezmann successfully execute a penalty
While manchester City drew 3-3 not bad at least Man City winning on away goals

Yeah, it's really unexpected result from Bayern Munchen. They lose 1-0 from Atletico Madrid, i thought Bayern Munich will make a goal make it draw, but nope. The final score is 1-0 win for Atletico Madrid.

It's not really that unexpected.  It kinda was expected especially after Atletico had a good performance in neutralizing Barca's forwards consisting of Messi, Suarez and Neymar.  Watch that game again, you'll see that Atletico has done well in isolating Messi.
11515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 29, 2016, 02:07:36 AM
today match
my prediction and my pick

Manchester United   Vs  Zorya ---------> Manchester United win
Roma                     Vs Astra Giurgiu ---------> Roma  win
Athletic Bilbao         Vs Rapid Wien ---------> Athletic Bilbao win
Fiorentina               Vs  Qarabag FK ---------> Fiorentina  win

Those are very obvious choices.  Please post the odds when you made your bets.  It makes a whole difference if the bet has value or not.  Sometimes it looks like a good bet on paper but in hindsight it was actually a losing bet.  And the reverse is also true.

11516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 28, 2016, 08:21:23 PM
Barcelona is losing and has not scored a goal yet which clearly indicates that without Messi they are just another mediocre team. How could you not beat a team like Mgladbach in which if you compare both players for both teams you see that Barcelona has a much higher budget per player which consequently traduces itself in higher quality players.

Yet they are losing so far, and although another 35 minutes to go or a bit more I don't think they have the power to turn things around. This happens when you base all your gameplay to a single player, when he is absent you don't have anymore ideas.

Just another mediocre team?  You can't be serious.  They were a good team before Messi and they will be a good team after Messi.  Do you think Barca will become like Osasuna when he retires?

On Celtic vs Man City...  By the luck of the Irish!  I didn't expect this to happen.

11517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 28, 2016, 08:33:18 AM
I could see Atletico winning this one or at least a draw.  They are really good with pressing and they got Barca's number in their recent match.  Diego Simeone was successful in lulling and stopping the Messi Suarez Neymar triumvirate so I think they can successfully do the same with whatever Bayern Munich tries to throws at them.
11518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor on: September 28, 2016, 04:23:59 AM
I'm expecting McGregor to win this fight but not in a knock out fashion like Aldo. This will go to the distance and McGregor will be on top every round. Alvarez is good with his defense but not good enough for the power and quickness of McGregor. McGregor knocking out Alvarez is 70-80% chance to happen but again i'm expecting this to go to the distance.

You're wrong.  It's like you're already so sure that the fight will go the distance without weighing in the probabilities and basing them with the fighter's records.  McGregor is not known to go the distance in his fights and Alvarez went to the distance only twice in his career and lost one of them.

Here's the video of the press conference for 205.

11519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor on: September 28, 2016, 03:36:32 AM
This could once again be a bloody fight again like Conor performed with Nate Diaz. if Conor could lose if Alvarez has the gas to last for more than 3 rounds and still have the strength, Alvarez could win the fight so long as he won't be knock out.

I think LW is McGregor's natural weight class.  He looks too haggard at FW and too small and has less, maybe even no KO power at WW.  Plus he's carrying that extra weight around.

His last fight against Diaz only proved that he could stand toe to toe against one of the toughest fighters in the UFC for the whole 5 rounds.  Although he gassed in the later rounds, he was able to manage it and fight up to the end.  Alvarez should be an easier opponent for McGregor and at an ideal weight class where he can KO an opponent.  This fight will be under 2.5 rounds most likely.
11520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 28, 2016, 03:06:26 AM
Watching Leicester at the CL makes me wish Kante didn't leave the club.  Now where is he?  At Chelsea with the possibility of not finishing at top 4 by the end of the season.  Kante would have made a big difference in the midfield watching the game vs Porto last night.
But Leicester city is not fairing to well either and they are dead last in the standing for their division. I think Chelsea will make a comeback this season like they did last one.
You will see! Wink

Yeah but having CL football makes a world of a difference for a player.  It would have been better if he stayed on at Leicester for one more season.  I think they would be higher in the table of the league if he still was.  He was a very valuable player in the midfield for them, especially considering that Ranieri needs more ball recoveries in his tactics.

And as a football fan it would have been way nicer to see Kante at the CL with Leicester.
