Thanks Pab yes not an awful lot happening on the Songcoin front just at the moment. We did spend a significant amount of money on a recent project that has stalled due to ongoing funding issues. However we still have plans to invigorate the Music Metadata Project to develop a platform using the Songcoin Blockchain as a backbone to enable the distribution of micropayments for music streaming services. Songcoin continues to be a profitable and rewarding mining option despite the oversupply of coins for sale on C-Cex. Though plentiful I can say that this is a bargain opportunity to invest in the coin for future development of related projects. We have the finger in the pie so to speak and all it will take is a minor win to significantly appreciate in value from what I believe is an undervalued base. with many speculators ready to jump on the halving soon,
there is an extremely likely chance we will see a BIG pump and dump during the next 12 months
(could start sooner or later and run a while or not, who knows)
with reading reports of coinbase cancelling orders etc. when BTC prices move a lot
(while they still hold funds/btc, or later offer you a different rate)
which exchange do you have the most trust in to use, during this volitile period ?
just looking to sell a very substantial amount of BTC when high and buy back after the dump

The way i see it, Bitcoin is going to change a lot of things. With Bitcoin, the economy of some countries is changing for the better. Some countries with high inflation rates can just invest heavily in technology (bitcoin atm's , Bitcoin Paying technology available at Supermarkets, Gas Stations etc )
In some way yes they are changing it especially in the first world country where the technology and internet access is high,but here in our country Bitcoin adoption is not that fast there are still restriction by our government.. |

I have taken down our social site and replace it with simple machine forum but it is crypto related community I just hope I can talk to the admin i would like to suggest for him to become a major sponsor while take of marketing..From there we can integrate everything..

I've been buying coins since 2012 and it seems more difficult than ever to keep up with coin fundamentals and technicals. I'm thinking about building a site but wanted to see if others share this problem. I want to make good trades just as much as the next person, but it seems difficult to wade through all of the information now days. Maybe I just am reminiscing the Gox days and less than a handful of coins to follow.
With all the coins out there and you do not have a technical and basic knowledge on the features and what you should look for a coin you'll definitely get lost,so lucky to have read some e-books about trading altcoins and and articles,we should go through this journey to be able to trade effectively.. |

Just saying you can't take a loan and say I will only repay the principal because 0.1 BTC = 0.1 BTC  Exactly how are donations comparable to loans? They're not. Lauda's point is that fiat value is irrelevant (I agree), mine is that time factor(/opportunity cost) should be considered.
Changing the required amount at this time would be unfair to the people that have previously donated. if I already knew bitcoin then and part of this forum and bitcoin was only $10 I would have donate 50 btc because it's worth to be a vip of this forum but I guess it's almost impossible to donate $50 now..
Why would it be impossible to donated $50? You can donate any amount that you want, just don't expect things in return. I'm sorry it's a typo error I mean to say 50 btc not dollar I'm used to type $ but if I that is the deal will do that when I have the fund,this forum enhanced my knowledge about bitcoin and altcoin and we owed it to this community. |

I don't think so that the official dev would spread viruses due his software.
But if you don't trust em, then search by your self for "cpuminer X11" binaries or build it by yourself
I'm not going to use that and will just find one that suits me but might harm your site reputation if you have a link to application that are virus loaded ,the developer of that application should also address this issue |

Well, there is the question. So many new coins and tokens being published on a weekly basis. Can all these coins affect BTC in any way? Can they drive investments away from BTC and if they can, what s the whole point? Personally, I am always for innovations but recently, I cant keep up with all these new opportunities and I do not think the market s wide enough to let all of these coexists.
I totally agree with you that there are many new altcoin are being launch almost weekly but I doubt if they can drive us from bitcoin because you cannot change these altcoin to fiat you still need to convert them to bitcoin ,I think they compliment the power of bitcoin we just need to restrict scam coin to avoid diluting the market.. |

Mine is not really working all means have been exhaust I am thinking if I have the right minerd application on github can you please send me where I can download another version of minerd application so I can try setting up my miner.. see getting started page. all minerlinks are reworked. all tested and working 100% It's to risky to use the new cpuminer application that is in your download page I've checked it on virustotal and there were 37 virus on it ,the application is not clean and will be blocked by your anti virus for sure ,have you checked it yourself?

Well you can set up the web wallet and also have the desktop wallet. And stake 50k in each. This is a very good strategy but if only the dev can edit the algorithm and increase the number of coins to stake that would be much better and safe there is a risk staking it via web wallet always prefer doing it on my desktop.. |

For the record, for many many many pages now throughout this thread, it has been advised to join Telegram for updates. It's not like BitPotus was the first to mention it.
Again, let me reiterate that you don't have to download any standalone apps to make Telegram work. You can visit the channel directly through the browser. But you would know that if you even tried to join the channel for news, rather than ask here all the time.
Yeah, I agree that the devs should be better about updating this thread, as they were the ones that started the Announcement in the first place, but it really isn't that hard to click on a simple link to see some updates.. In fact, it's less effort than having to type out "what's the latest news from this? Is the faucet ever going to come back?"
I think all of you who are getting offended at BitPotus are just guilty of not clicking on a damn link to check out the Telegram channel in the first place lol
I have moved on to this telegram thing have click it hundreds times and it's really not working in my end if I have excess funds here i would have paid some one to fix this for me so I can update on telegram,I would just leave this thread for now and I'm into a lot of projects of my own had my own forum to work with hopefully the dev can fix this and we will be back to normal ...let's make peace  |

I actually like dogecoin and I think it could be useful for a lot of things. Unfortunately that usefulness is getting buried under 1000 tons of shitcoins. There are just far too many out there and poor little doge is getting ignored.
I totally agree with you with so many coins coming in with a whole new features people are now transferring some of their investment on these newly launch coins but soon they will realize dogecoin still a good investment and an established it's normal for the price to dip from time to time.. |
