11521  Other / Meta / How long it takes to make a Jr Member Account. on: November 24, 2015, 10:21:45 PM
It could technically take a minimum of 15 days (or less) to make a Jr Member account! If timed correctly. So possibly a good idea, if trading with Jr Members to check their joined dated (wouldn't it)?
11522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: November 24, 2015, 10:18:20 PM
Micro loans are not profitable. People tend to forget it cost a lot of time for a 10% profit.

Yes 10% on a micro loan, means a micro profit.

In the mean time you have to monitor the loan/payments do calculations etc.

then you do a big loan, on top of small loan, 10% is actually big if you lend 1 btc for example, do it with a decent collateral like an account which is the faster type of collateral

Yea but to find an account worth 1BTC or more for collateral it's almost mission impossible besides almost no one legit asks for 1BTC loan, 50% of the lending section is full of scammers and the other 49% are gamblers or trust farmers, sad but true.

Yeah the collateral is hard to estimate most of the times. But i heard some good deal can be made, else nobody would do it. I think some assets (like altcons) are some good collateral.

If you use accounts for collateral. Remember to under estimate their price if using an escrow. Then, you will know if the person is legit or an account seller. E.G hero member accounts are sold for 0.8 btc so suggest their value, as collateral, be between 0.4 btc - 0.6 btc, to filter out the scammers and account sellers.

Guys, First of all its a giveaway....(If u are soo much impatient about some $3 then i guess its right time for you all to find a job and stop relying on free money)
~The chat was online yesterday
~If u have still not got the giveaway u can message them and they would credit it when they get online(i guess that's how its supposed to work)
~I kinda really liked the support when it was online yesterday.(it was like lightning)

At last, the site has just relaunched, i guess a lot of work is being done on site so give it some time to establish.
I've even checked the withdrawls and they are pretty smooth

Gl and hope u dont gamble more than what u can afford.  Grin
~Cyber

They did seem rather impatient for the money that was avaliable. This site has just been jaunced so ehere would be many reasons why they have been offline. (including, saving bandwidth for their servers!). I have signed up to another giveaway thread and the OP hasn't credited in two weeks!

11525  Other / Off-topic / FULL MEMBER TODAY!!! on: November 24, 2015, 09:32:16 PM
EXCITED, I am now at full member status...

Anyone else turn full member today?
11526  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldnt there be an activity increase today? on: November 24, 2015, 09:30:02 PM
I posted a couple of times today as i thought it will solve the problem and my activity will increase but im already waiting for a few hours any help?

Check your account here, you're already at your maximum/potential activity with 238,
including "November 24, 2015, 1:00 pm to December 8, 2015, 1:06 pm".

Mine hasn't increased either. I don't think.

Last time I checked it was at 112!

11527  Other / Archival / Re: [LENDING] ██ Bitcoin ██ 0.02 BTC MAXIMUM ██ Low Rates ██ 0.1% a Day on: November 24, 2015, 08:34:00 PM
I am offering a loan spot for 0.02 BTC
0.1% Daily (maximum 180 Days!)
0.1% Daily Late Fees

EXAMPLES
BorrowedNumber Of DaysInterestYou Pay Back
0.021800.02x0.01x180=0.0360.056 BTC
0.02900.02x0.01x90=0.0180.048 BTC
(NOTE: this is just examples not set plans! Some calculations may not be correct, actual loans will have more correct information!)

Seriously buddy, you should just lock your thread and rethink your whole lending business.
You can't even do simple math to calculate interest. How can you write loans will have correct information when you are displaying wrong ones ?
At 0.1% daily, a 180 days loan will reach 18% interest, not 180% like in your calculation.

Nobody will take your business seriously if you can't provide clear information. Lock this thread, do your math and reopen it again when everything will be clear in your head.

Maybe you should stop hijacking the thread for no reason, pm the next time you have something to say instead of spamming here for your sig campaign.

He might have just been quoting my mistake so it stays there forever...
He may also try to reap the rewards of his sig campaign through this.
In future, If people want me to change my posts (here we go again!) PM me first! An i'll change it.
This is not a BIG MISTAKE and can easily be solved!

I also said that these were rough guides and may be inaccurate from the table. Please read before posting. Also, I will close this in a few days, as I am likely to recieve 0.079 BTC which will then mean my loan amount can be increased to 0.1 BTC.

If anyone was wondering why the suggested prices for accounts was low? I wanted to demonstrate that people that want to do business will have their account held in an escrow and, if they are legit, they will get it back!

11532  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How do you get free power? on: November 23, 2015, 09:12:26 PM
Some of the users on this forum made posts where they claim to get free power, where do they get this power from?

Suppose, if you have an antminer s7, it can produce 1btc a month.
1btc is around £200.
Hotel accomodation, per night, including electricity and internet: £40
200x6=1200
1200/30=40

So for 6 antminer s7s, you get around £1200 a month.
Convert this into money and you have £40 a night!
Purchase about 10 s7s and you have got yourself £800 a month or more than £20 a night!

Not so bad but needs a high capital!

Windows 3.1 with original mouse!

What was the original mouse?
Sounds like it ran of floppies or something similar of bad technology!
I know that windows XP, VISTA and some before came with a ball at the bottom that moved something in order to create a signal from the mouse to go to the computer. Now they use light and receptors to detect movement. Somehow, people use touchscreen on computer too, it technically isn't a computer if it has a touchscreen (it's just a large tablet!)
11535  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the largest file anyone has? on: November 23, 2015, 08:50:40 PM
Probably 30Gb or so in videos. The largest file/chunk of data Ive ever dealt with was at work, nearly 3TB worth of VM backups into a single file which is then picked up along with an even more massive amount of data and dumped to tape.

Which probably then failed! Based on the "greatness" of tape! The sizes are quite suprising now 1600GB for a cartridge smaller than the size of a VHS tape. If it was magnetic tape you were referring to instead of the "better" optical tape (Film in VHS and old Cameras).

I was suprised to find that photographic film is still used in the medical industry along with basic cameras for X-Ray! Exposure of the film to X-Ray means that an imprint of the bone, where the X-Ray has not touched is left in the film (like a footprint in sand or mud)
11536  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the largest file anyone has? on: November 23, 2015, 08:46:41 PM
My copy of Windows 3.1 takes up 5 whole floppy disks!

Do they still work?
How much does each floppy hold? 1mb?

I was kidding. Although I bet I could find a few around the house. If I remember they hold a whopping 1.44MB!

Here's me considering that a 550mb flash drive wasn't very good!
You would need more than 100 of them floppies to hold the data that could be stored on that flash drive/if I recall, windows 7 basic operating system startup information (just the binary files from the main C:\ drive, hold 755mb!
11537  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the largest file anyone has? on: November 23, 2015, 07:55:53 PM
"file" does not mean what some of you think it means.

Are you referring to the fact that a folder can be classed as a file?

Considering some people said that I should lend Bitcoin.

I don't usually post here but what you are doing seems extremely shady. You are giving only 0.01 btc but 0.02 to sr.members? Who is going to take a 0.01 btc loan for a month or a year? You are also not willing to use escrow. 9/10 scam.

Changed!

Does This Look Better?

I don't like escrow as I don't have people on this forum that I trust!

If you could reccomend a person who could escrow I would gladly hear it!

Thank you for your help

Jack G

Yea but do you understand the irony vs hypocrisy there? You don't trust anyone in this forum but you expect someone else to trust you? There are a few super trusted escrows in this forum, you can try with https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=136592
