Last few hours feel "past-exponential".. is there a way to look at 24h % increase on bitcoincharts?

edit: 527$ ...

sure, choose 1 day time frame and hit percentage scale check box

[...] I stand by my 3000$ prediction for the top [...]

Any chance you could elaborate on your method/reasoning/thought process for that prediction?

Sold 40 on Friday thinking it'll drop, as if often does, over the weekend.

Within hours a new ATH was reached, then proceeded to continue on up.

Sad

Still, have $16000. Not TOO shabby!

spend this now.

there is seriously very little time left....
11566  Economy / Speculation / Re: Call the top on: November 17, 2013, 09:12:18 PM
Question: why are this post in any way interesting, since they contain random numbers pulled out of user's asses?
What's the point of giving random predictions, if you don't explain the exact reasoning why you predict one specific number?
Is anyone actually reading this shit, or is everyone just in write-only mode?

I assure you we have all given these number gr8 deal of thought...

I stand by my 3000$ prediction for the top

anyone thinking the top is less than 1000$ hasn't a clue whats going on, and trades purely on emotion.
11567  Economy / Speculation / Re: please tell me i've done good? on: November 17, 2013, 08:59:29 PM
the moment you double your money sell half your coins and put the money back in the account. then you will have 6 bitcoins and your parents will never be the wiser  Grin

+1.  Do this, then tell your parents about it.

no tell your parents, and then sell them half  Wink
11568  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much of a bubble is this? on: November 17, 2013, 08:56:09 PM
This is a bubble, and if you think otherwise you are an idiot to be frank.  This is no 'organic growth'.  Bitcoins rise is fuelled by media driven newbie buying who think they can get rich.  The crash will come.

no this is the market pricing in the future. its not a bubble, its a dream.

Bitcoin Days Destroyed not as high as previous ATH at $266. Less coins coming out of cold storage to sell into this rally??

https://blockchain.info/charts/bitcoin-days-destroyed?timespan=1year&showDataPoints=false&daysAverageString=7&show_header=true&scale=0&address=

and there's a good chance a lot of these are poeple moving coins to a more secure storage. I use to tell poeple get a paper wallet. now i say get an encrypted paper wallet with backups. you and your dad can give eachother a backup for safe keeping. DO NOT TRUST YOUR MOTHER!  Cheesy
11570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2013, 08:30:23 PM
i told you, the rally is now accelerating.
11571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2013, 08:17:18 PM
Thesis:

The future price of bitcoin is proportional to the number of jokes made on the most active Wall Observer thread.

your mama is so dumb, she thought she had to sell a BTC at mtgox to buy a bitcoin t-shirt

Sooo... who fell asleep resting his head on the "buy"-Button? Raise your hand!

you REALLY don't want to fall asleep thinking about pushing the buy button.    Wink

11574  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2013, 07:09:26 PM
its really somthing handing somone 450$ for a bitcoin
i gave a few away to friends and family back in the 5-20$ days
they hand me the coin ( its one of my brass physical coin wallet ) and I count the green in-front of them, its impressive!  Cheesy

I make some money, they make some money, and they start to understand what a bitcoin really is.

I was talking to my friends daughter about bitcoin for the first time ( i dont see these poeple very often.... ) she's young and smart and I didn't have to say very much, she understood right away why this thing is bigger then anyone can possibly imagine. bitcoin will transcend generations!

GOOOO BITCOIN!  Grin

Appears that USD exchanges are just getting out of the way of the chinese stampede.

It could just be that what appears to be the chinese could just be daytraders. Seriously, when I daytrade I like 0 fees, and I don't intend to withdraw USD anyway, so who cares if its yuan-denominated instead?

dont be stupid.
11577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to fork Bitcoin on: November 16, 2013, 08:50:40 PM
IF luke JR and mike hearn add their patches into the next version of bitcoin to be more government friendly. and people are left to decide to upgrade to this new QT update.. lets call that update the U.SGovcoin. and people vote on moving over to U.SGovCoin or staying with bitcoin in its current state

you know they are going to play dirty and make it seem like the is just a regular update

its up to us to make some noise

11579  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 16, 2013, 07:47:45 PM
Why would you sell if it hits $1000? If it hits $1000, it can hit $5,000, or $10,000.

Buy and hold till the day you don't "sell" bitcoins anymore. Buy and hold till they ARE money.

news flash bitcoin can be used to buy wtv the fuck you want. in most cases at the click of a button.

it is money, spend it.
11580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vote No for Coin Validation! on: November 16, 2013, 07:37:20 PM
the foundation is ( or should be ) the voice of the community, and should be actively pointing out how Coin Validation won't do any good for anyone ( not even the government )

it wont stop money laundering , they keep telling us " don't worry all you have to do is mix your coins and you are safe " outrageous!

it wont do any good, in fact it will most likely always red flag innocent people. Because innocent  people will think their coins are good ( after all they got them legitimately ) and always let criminals through because they know how easy it is to by bass coin validation

you have to be stupid to think coin validation is good FOR ANYONE! its total CRAP and it must be stopped

I am soo mad the foundation is not backing 92% of the community.
