11581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 07, 2019, 03:14:50 AM
in other words, earning bitcoin is not hard. the methods you chose were hard. try an actual job in real world and ask them to pay you in bitcoin. or use the money to buy bitcoin. then you'll see how easy it is.
This. I don't know why people refuse to make money in decent industries with decent skills instead. That way, you actually improve your marketable skill that you could use in the real world if ever the whole cryptocurrency space dies(unlikely in my opinion, but it's still a non-zero possibility).

Regardless if they refuse to pay you straight in bitcoin, you can use the fiat money they pay you to buy bitcoin instead. In the end, you still pretty much reached your goal: with more bitcoin!

Agree with this. But the problem is not every job/employee can pay you with Bitcoin. In my country, it's illegal to do that so the best choice would be using our fiat money to buy Bitcoin and then hold it. But if you can find an online job which pays you well, such as freelancing then it's a good alternative, really.
You can still do so in secret, by trading peer to peer online(not through exchanges). Though it's a bit more difficult, it's still very possible.
11582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Whales and Crypto Camels on: August 07, 2019, 02:30:27 AM
You are wrong. Do you like people who do not follow the trend line and trading chart ?

I don't like them nor dislike them. I couldn't care less of how they trade. It's their money. I don't care if they make money, or lose money. Just because they might be a contributing factor to dropping the price(like you're implying) it doesn't necessarily mean I should dislike or hate them.
11583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the main advantages and disadvantages of your crypto exchange? on: August 06, 2019, 05:26:36 PM
0.5% doesn't seems like huge amount because banking system has lot of hidden fee which even cost 6% for some transactions.SO you can actually use any exchanges where the fee is under 1%.

If you don't want to pay the fee then find someone who is willing to swap ypur coin then do trades personally, you only need to pay TX fee.

Not sure why we're comparing fees to banks instead of comparing to other exchanges, it's still unnecessarily high, knowing that the more bigger and reputable exchanges like Binance has significantly lower fees(5x less); and take note that it can even be a lot lower with BNB if OP trades a lot.

Coinswitch is pretty much on par with Coinbase in terms of fees, which is definitely not a good thing.

Do you really need to go as far as to calling derogatory names just because the prices aren't working in your favor? The markets are extremely volatile. Prices rise, prices drop. People do to their money what they want to do. Get over it.
11585  Other / Meta / Re: No shitposts yet acc get banned on: August 06, 2019, 04:18:12 PM
Can i atleast know the reason for the banned?because i dont do shit posts

So I did a Google search on your account, and the last time your profile was crawled and cached by Google, you had 34 posts and 28 activity.

And now, your account only has 12 posts and 12 activity, so it looks like a lot of your posts(more than half) got deleted.

So, it's most likely due to one of these:
  • You spam, a lot
  • You post scammy links
  • You committed plagiarism
  • and last but not the least.. *drumroll* ..shit posts

KYC information are unfortunately a requirement for these services. If they don't require KYC, they might get shut down by the government; especially if the business is running in the US.

Well, at least you already successfully withdrawn your funds. If you don't want KYC next time, probably try Bisq[1]. Though the liquidity is bad, at least it doesn't have KYC. Also, hopefully you don't store your funds on exchanges if you don't trade them.

11587  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC movement after today flash crash on: August 06, 2019, 04:03:56 PM
i think most of these newcomers who call these price changes "flash crash" or "pumps" aren't doing it because of the volatility. they are surprised because the "numbers" are big. otherwise if price went from $22 to $20.91 nobody would have even thought about it. why because 22 is a small number but 12200 is a big one, doesn't matter if the drops are exactly equal in size percentage wise!

this will only get worse the higher the price goes. imagine what they would say when price falls from $122,000 to $116,000. they see the $6000 difference not the 4.9%

Man, this annoys me a little bit too much. It's the same caliber as the people who says that they "missed the bitcoin train" and are now investing in XRP because they think it will reach the same price as bitcoin. 🤦
11588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the main advantages and disadvantages of your crypto exchange? on: August 06, 2019, 03:28:14 PM
Any reason why you're using that "coin swith" exchange instead of the alternatives? Even Binance, which should be one of the best exchanges in terms of trading volume and liquidity has a lower trading fee[1] at 0.1%.

EDIT: oh. You mean coinswitch. Looks like you like using instant exchanges. I suggest trying out exchanges like Binance instead as you'd get better deals for your money due to the lower fees alone.

11589  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC movement after today flash crash on: August 06, 2019, 02:02:01 PM
People really call these flash crashes now? How soft have people become. Bitcoin rose from $11,600 to $12,200 and just went back down to $11,770 today, which should still be an increase in the end so far. And you're "tired of these crashes"?

Mate. If you can't handle the price volatility, bitcoin is not for you. Go invest or trade other assets instead.

May bonus nga sila. $10 registration bonus[1].

Kung ito man rason no OP: I don't think na worth it na gamitin ang exchange dahil lang sa bonus though. As far as I know bago bago palang ata to, and lagi kong sinusuggest against sa paggamit ng mga bagong exchange lalo na ung mga hindi pa reputable kagaya nito. High risk, low reward in this case in my opinion lalo na't pera ang pinag uusapan dito.

I'm looking forward to switching to the new Huawei OS that Trump forced them to develop. Smiley

It will be another step towards freeing myself from Google et al.

If you don't mind flashing OSs on your phone and a bit of minor bugs here and there depending on your phone model, I suggest taking a look at LineageOS, which was previously known as CyanogenMOD. Pretty famous OS on the mobile custom ROM community. Also, it's open source!

11592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Massive Network Congestion, What’s the Value of BTC? on: August 06, 2019, 07:53:57 AM
If you really want low fees, then switch to the Lightning Network for smaller transactions.

While I hope we'd gain LN adoption in the future, it's still not adopted though. Most services that accepts bitcoin doesn't accept LN transactions yet so I don't think it's something that we can already suggest people to use.
11593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Max Keiser claim Bitcoin Will Cross $15,000 This Week on: August 06, 2019, 07:16:55 AM
it's a little troublesome how low bitcoin network fees are. i haven't had to pay more than 5 sat/byte in weeks, and 1 sat/byte transactions are getting confirmed everyday. usually in a bullish trend like this, they spike up quite a bit. but instead, even after a $3000 rally, the network is looking.......dead. what's up with that?

While definitely significantly lower than what we had in like 2017, it really isn't "dead" though. Not even close. As per blockchain.com's statistics[1], we peaked at 490,644 transactions on December 14, 2017, and in the past 30 days, we're averaging at around 330,000 per day. That's still quite big in my opinion even if it's lower than the peak.

11594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With Massive Network Congestion, What’s the Value of BTC? on: August 06, 2019, 05:25:41 AM
Transaction fee is only 0.0001 btc or around USD 1, which is the far fetch to the peak during 2017, I was paying US 60 for one off send.

As a person that actually uses his bitcoin a bit frequently to pay for stuff online, I really don't remember the last time I paid for a $1 fee. The most expensive that I remember is like $.50, which I intentionally overpaid because the transaction was very urgent.

Bakit mong binabalak lumipat in the first place? May problema ba sa Binance na wala ung problemang un sa Bybit? Kung wala, bakit mo kailangang lumipat? Take note na mababa ang liquidity at trading volume sa Bybit, un palang, malaki na ang advantage ng Binance.
11596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it's all so fragile, what's the point? on: August 06, 2019, 04:38:03 AM
What trading rules do you swear by?

Proper risk control. I had been a massive idiot in the past. If a certain coin/token is going to pump based on my research, I put 30-50% of my bankroll on that coin/token like a mighty degenerate. Now, I only do a maximum of 5% when I'm really really certain, even thought I think 5% is too big of a risk.
11597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do to avoid phising sites on: August 06, 2019, 03:33:39 AM
This is good for google chrome browser users but how about for other browsers?

I've installed metamask before and whenever I landed to a suspicious sites, it gives me a warning but I have uninstalled it. I want to know if someone who's still using it and if its still working?

Yes, Metamask still has that feature as far as I know. But seriously. You really just need to stop googling websites that you know and already use anyway. Instead, simply accurately type it in on the address bar, and bookmark the page for future use. Problem resolved.
11598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Max Keiser claim Bitcoin Will Cross $15,000 This Week on: August 05, 2019, 01:14:38 PM
True that, but I do not think that $15k is possible this week unless there is a major event that will push the price of Bitcoin that much.  I agree that Bitcoin volatility is crazy and it is capable of increasing upto 100% in just a matter of months but I do not hear nor read any major event that will support Max Kaiser's prediction.

While I don't think we're going to hit $15,000 this week and while I've always hated these "predictions", the price prediction is sliiightly realistic in my opinion. Yea, it's $3,300 away which is around 28% increase from here, but remember that we're talking about bitcoin here. Bitcoin pretty much has surprised everyone in the past multiple times with it's flash price increases and drops.

Also, I don't think major events are required at all. It could pump that much due to demand alone.
11599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction – $24,000 BTC/USD before Christmas 2019 on: August 05, 2019, 01:10:23 PM
I however think we need a bit longer to actually break the $20k all time high. I can see sellers line up unloading whatever it is they bought way lower, or they were still holding heavy bags from 2017/2018.

Same thoughts. I think a good number of people who bought close to the top in December 2017 are planning in on selling somewhere close to $20,000 to hopefully just breakeven from their initial buy-in. I think $24,000 is pretty realistic though, so there's a good possibility.
11600  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BEATS STOCKS on: August 05, 2019, 01:00:33 PM
When it comes to price and volatility then there no doubt for Bitcoin do had the edge but when it comes to regulation then we can see the difference.

Not sure if I'd call volatility an edge. Volatility is both an advantage and a disadvantage, completely depending on the purpose. On a trading perspective it's definitely an advantage, whereas for people who are planning on using it as a currency? Probably not.
