1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: December 30, 2017, 09:14:40 PM
Any currency can be used for illegal activities. Why the dollar is the most popular currency for these purposes?
because dollar is the most common currency in the world.
In general, bitcoin has more prospects for use in this area, because of anonymity
Exactly, that is why we should not get surprised if in the future becomes the number one currency of the world then bitcoin is going to be used not only by good people but by bad people as well and to be honest there is nothing we are going to be able to do about it.
I do agree but i don't think that the government will approve that bitcoin should be the number one currency. They will just agree to the idea of bitcoin can be alternative currency in terms of global transaction. If bitcoin replaces fiat then the governmen cannog manipulate the money cycling over their economy. In other words, they will loose power over their nation.

But at the end it is not their choice, if people decide to use bitcoin and bitcoin spread all over the world and begins to be used in that way governments are not going to have any other choice but to accept that reality no matter how much they dislike it.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: December 26, 2017, 08:59:35 PM
I donot understand what are going to on bitcoin?Bitcoin dumping  and dumping Shocked Shocked. Now bitcoin under 3600$ i think in this week its going to under 3000$.China can destroy bitcoin or ended this month. What your predict ?

Your prediction is wrong, bitcoin rises 5 times than what you think. If you still hold your bitcoin until now, then you are a smart person.
It is very obvious to me that person sold his bitcoin, after all he thought that china could destroy bitcoin in a single month so it made more sense for him to sell his bitcoin than to keep it, obviously that would have been a big mistake since bitcoin not only has not died but it is stronger than ever.
1163  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: December 26, 2017, 08:55:50 PM
your opinion about the decreasing value of btc seems unproven for now, the current btc value is shifting and increasing
Yes, bitcoin can’t die ever, it is an ever living digital currency and is spreading with the speed of light, even people have started to do online shopping using bitcoin rather than any other source of their money. From now bitcoin can’t day but will spread more and more with the increase in its age, its importance will also increase which leads to its intense demand, thus it will become more costly than the present case.
Bitcoin is very resistant but to claim it cannot die is a mistake if the devs make the same mistake thinking that there is nothing that could destroy bitcoin then they will not be ready when a threat that big appears, remember we always need to be ready just in case a big threat appears and wants to destroy bitcoin.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins to invest in right now? on: December 26, 2017, 08:50:59 PM
I have been hearing a lot of talk where ppl are suggesting this is the best time to invest in alt coins. Which ones are good options to start buying? was checking https://coinmarketcap.com/
Thanks in advance Smiley
There were a lot of altcoins in which you could have invested and made a lot of money but now it seems a little late you need to find a good altcoin with a low market cap and then invest a good amount of money if you want to make money, if you do not do that then your earnings are going to be very low if you invest in the most popular altcoins.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: December 26, 2017, 08:42:06 PM
I have read in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual currencies are assets and does not have the characteristics or what it takes to be a currency that could meet our modern economic needs. It was said that it does not have the fundamental attributes. What are your thoughts about it?
They are lying is that simple, never believe everything you hear out there, most of the time it is just a bunch of lies if you do not believe me watch the commercials for 2 minutes if you really take the time to analyze the commercial you can easily find 5 to 10 lies in each commercial.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сryptocurrency Phobia - new social phenomenon on: December 25, 2017, 08:24:33 PM
A lot of people are thinking that they are doing a good deed by warning clueless people about potential "scam", others simply want to feel superior that they will predict "bubble" and won't lose their money because "they are not stupid". These psychological patterns can describe most of anti-cryptocurrency commenters, but there are also other causes like regret over not getting in early, distrust and hate towards everything that is not controlled by governments (especially popular among left-wingers), being involved in traditional finance and even religion.
The problem with those people that think are doing a good deed is that they are in fact doing something bad think of all the people that could have gotten into bitcoin earlier and decided against it because they listen to someone else they could be rich by now if they followed their instincts.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good Altcoin for longterm investment on: December 25, 2017, 08:19:33 PM
may be ethhereum suitable for long-term investment as you mean. I have ever get the info that the price of ethereum will rise to 0.18-0.20 BTC/ETH, this is quite reasonable I think, because ethereum once reach at the price of 0.14 BTC/ETH, for reaching 0.18-0.20 BTC / ETH it might happen, but ofcourse in long term.
If you want to invest for the long term in an altcoin then there is no better coin than ETH, some do not like the coin but it is very obvious it is going to be around for a long time, another good investments are monero, litecoin, dash, ethereum classic and many other coins in the top 20.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Easy x5 x10 on: December 25, 2017, 08:10:34 PM
Which altcoins can give me an easy X5 x10 in less than a month  Huh
You are making a huge mistake with your frame of mind, while there may be a coin that gives you those results in a month, most of the time you will need to be very lucky most of the people that get those results are people that bought a coin in the beginning stages and hold for months and years.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: THIS is the time to buy! on: December 25, 2017, 08:06:18 PM
Ofcourse everybody gets a little anxious with this correction. But let's be honest, we needed a correction in this bullish market in the past two weeks.

Why is it time to buy?
- The weak hands are out and many 'stop-limit' orders have been triggered.
- The earlier corrections also were about 30 to 50% without any big news. Perhaps you remember the 5k was reached and it dropped back to 3k? And last month almost 8k was reached and it pulled back to around 5k?
- I'm pretty sure that the 10k barrier wouldn't be broken.

So if you can get your hands on some btc between 10-11k, I suggest you do it.
You were right and to be honest it was not that difficult to guess, people always get nervous when there is a correction but people need to get used to the movements of bitcoin we cannot keep making the same mistakes again and again, buy bitcoin at the dips, we know bitcoin is going to go up after a correction.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or hold bitcoin cash ? on: December 22, 2017, 11:47:46 PM
Hello, I did a mistake during the high pump of bitcoin cash few days ago and I bought bitcoin cash for 1800$. Since I'm blocked on it because I don't want to do a loss by selling under 1800$...
My initial plan was to invest in differents altcoins... I think it is a good example of emotional trade  Cry.

Do you think it's a better idea to go out now or in few days when there will be a little pump OR to hold Bitcoin cash for a long period and forget my invest in others altcoins for the moment ?
I hope you waited the price of bitcoin cash now is trading at good price, unfortunately you do not tell to us the bitcoin price at which price you bought so even if bitcoin cash has a high price in fiat we are not sure if you will be able to avoid losing money.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which top-50 altcoin will be the biggest loser in current dip? on: December 22, 2017, 11:45:42 PM
Nobody is going to tell you where to invest, it's just silly: people are spending days surfing through the thousands of ICOs and altcoins to find the best profitable ones and you just want them to share that knowledge? It's fantastic to count on that.
Yeah and any advice you get is going to be suspect, after all any advice you get may have other intentions besides making you money, there are many sites that give signals but most of the time the signals are wrong or the one giving the signals may charge you money to receive the signals.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin not so anonymous? on: December 22, 2017, 11:41:16 PM
Bitcoin was never anonymous.  Anybody who said it is, was stupid or lying.  Anybody who thought it is, may be in for a rude shock with unknown timing.  The notion that “Bitcoin is anonymous” is a persistent, pernicious myth.  It’s a global ledger, wherein each copy of the blockchain shows in full all transactions ever made.  What is so hard to understand about this?

I wonder if the Core Engineers will start to look at ways to keep Bitcoin anonymous

They have been, for awhile.  But things develop slowly in Bitcoin.  They can’t just smack on a new feature, at risk of accidentally dropping a billion dollars worth of coins on the floor.
It is not hard but most people do not want to take the time to read about the myths of bitcoin, of all the myths that is probably one of most long lasting and in my opinion is one of the most damaging since people think they can get away with anything because they think they are anonymous.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: December 22, 2017, 11:24:31 PM
It is my first time joining ICO so I still don't have enough knowledge about ICO's that are existing here. Like you,I am also wondering before if it is safe to participate, so before joining, I do some research and asked my friends who knows well. I found out that it really depends on the ICO,some companies are total scammers. So I suggest, before joining ICO you have to be selective before investing your money.
Whether your investment is going to give you profits or not is going to depend entirely on the ico in which you invest this is why investing in icos is such a black and white endeavor, you can lose your money or you can become rich with your investment.
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 22, 2017, 11:21:00 PM
Characteristic of corruptors is trying to save money as safe as possible, before they save in foreign banks or do money laundering. but I'm not sure the corruptors want to save money to bitcoin because they understand there's a risk if the bitcoin price drops.
I'm very sure that corrupt people are going to begin to use bitcoin in order to store their ill gains, think about it no on can take your bitcoin if they do not have your private key, they can hide their dirty money and no one will be able to ever get it.
1175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin setting records, $19.8k and half a million blocks milestone on: December 20, 2017, 03:58:44 AM
these past days we have had a new ATH $19,892 for price on Coinbase which is a phenomenal record in history of bitcoin.

but that is not the only one. in case you missed it, recently block #500,000 [1] was mined. that is half a million blocks mined. and with Genesis block [2] on 2009-01-03 that is nearly 9 years of bitcoin being around and still going strong despite all the naysayers and doomsday machines repeating obituaries for bitcoin all this time.

congratulations to all of us pioneers. the early adopters who are starting at the ground floor.

Yeah congratulations, to satoshi, the devs, the miners and the user base which make bitcoin a reality, many of us got late in bitcoin but in the future many people are going to look at a person buying bitcoin today as an early adopter when bitcoin reaches ridiculous levels on its price.

1177  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: December 20, 2017, 03:42:11 AM
NO! United States Dollar still more popular than bitcoin, im not american and every time i ask my friends and my family did they know about bitcoin, they always answer no but if i ask did you know about USD they answer that know USD, its mean that bitcoin is note popular than USD
There is no doubt that the dollar is still the most popular out of the two, but bitcoin is making progress like no other currency around the world and in the distant future bitcoin could be big enough to become a rival to the dollar hegemony that has lasted for so long.
1178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin be bullish in 2018? on: December 20, 2017, 03:36:46 AM
If we are going to based everything on the historical logs, we can't really say for certain that bitcoin will remain bullish. There's a lot of things that can happened this year alone a growth of more than 700% has achieved. Can we repeat it? Hard  to say but one things for certain that bitcoin will be having a crazy year in 2018. Demand is really getting high and many institutions and company are investing. I'm also waiting for the Amazon acceptance and lot of nations making bitcoin legal or regulated. A conservative 100-200% growth estimation seems likely, in my opinion.

Yep, if you compare bitcoin to 2013 then 2014 and 2015 were all pretty bearish years for bitcoin, no doubt about it. 2018 could obviously be the year that the bull trend finally stops and there comes a couple of corrections that brings down the price.

Though if that is going to happen i doubt it's going to happen in the first half, rather than in the second half of the year.

Right now we're still quite bullish, and no way it's going to end before the end of the year at least.
The biggest difference is there is not really any kind of sign that bitcoin is going to enter a bearish market, what I mean is just look at all the things that are happening, it is almost impossible to think that we are going to see a huge crash and the bears taking over the market.

1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Physical Gold/Silver price Speculation? on: December 09, 2017, 04:26:59 AM
If you want a sure increasing physical investment, invest your money to gold. But do not expect to make such a big profit.
This is why gold is considered to be a store of value so if you want yearly earnings it is better that you do not invest in gold, many are betting gold is going to gain a lot of value but that may not happen in your lifetime, this is why bitcoin is better just in this year our gains are incredible.
