It looks like almost every Altcoin with volume is being dumped right now. WC has HUGE volume. Yes mass dumping by pools during this final phase but also mass buying!

Also, if you look closely, most Alt Coins are down down down... Even BC.
With volume of WC still nearly 700BTC a day at Mintpal alone, my guess is people are selling their altcoin, like BC, FLT, etc, and buying the WC dump as this final phase of mining new coins ends
I don't think anyone here doubts what happens next as soon as all the coins are mined. Sell orders are going to vanish and the price is going to move up and move up quick.

I would be surprised if the pool/whale manipulators will be able to push the price to 700. I think we are about at bottom. Impossible to time it exactly so who knows, but minting ends REAL soon. As soon as that happens you will have missed it.

Waffle pool really attacking white coin, dumping harder than ever. They have 5.5 million coins now. Price will remain low for awhile, at 1078 satoshis now.
You mean they're actually generating coins faster then they can dump? That would not surprise me at all Thank wafflepool for the cheap coins though. mfw I ain't even mad.  I can't thank waffle when my investment loses value everyday. That's not cool. I am not panicking by any means, but if you buy and the price drops it kind of sucks. Reference all of the posts where people were calling bottom at 1500, 1400, 1300, 1200, etc... Those people bought in, and their investment is worth less because of waffle. Reference all the posts where people were saying to wait and it might even go down to 700. I honestly wouldn't even be worried if I had bought at 2200. I have been spreading small buys from 1600, anything below that I consider a bonus. This has been our strategy. We started buying at 1100, and bought increments up to about 1800, saw it go to 2500, now around 1000, we are continuing to buy. At the moment we've accumulated just over 1 million WC. Will be holding! I agree people are far too impatient. Honestly it's just most people are not seasoned investors. They think big gains RIGHT now! But you average in, on ups and downs. Then hold. Big news is abound for WC over the next week. I have no doubts the coins we bought even at 1800 will be profitable. Just be patient and keep buying in steps! Sell once you have doubled your investment. PS. My guess is the whales that have been manipulating WC price downward with sell walls are going to make out like bandits. Volume is still incredibly high... #3 on Mintpal. I think that's what most people don't realize, is that yes the price is down but there is a LOT of buying happening... Make no mistake those buyers know exactly what they are doing. I wish a 10 BTC holding of WC made me a whale, but let's be honest I'm still a small fish. I'd keep your eye on this coin. Strato |

In case anybody is wondering why the multipool announcement drove the price down:
1. People mine at multipools for an extra incentive like a bonus or a price draw and not to donate part of their profits. So most people probably thought the flutterpool will not get enough traction.
2. Unfortunately with multipools being launched everyday by other coins, saying you are launching beta in a week or so is being frowned upon.
i think whitecoin and blackcoin got a lot of of investment today. no worries, the people that make money there will buy on here. solid, long time veterans of this board had nothing but good things to say yesterday when they first heard about the coin. long term looks great, i'm accumulating more.  I agree. But I also think the Whitecoin rally is going to go on for a few days or perhaps more. It's gonna move up and more and more will be pulling money out of other coins and jumping in. WC was added to Cryptsy overnight. Most haven't heard yet (still 4 am in California) but that is going to cause a huge pop today, perhaps into the 10k plus territory. FLT will gain momentum again, give it a week or so until these other coins calm down. Should be an interesting weekend! |

Just look at the major BC rally a few days ago... There were a few corrections along the way. The rally took days to fully mature. Shake out the weak and weary.  |

sources for a dump? would be stupid looking at the price right now. they would rather pump it to dump when price is higer Neither BC or WC are being dumped any time soon...you can't dump when there is no buy depth. People dump when the price is right...and right now, it isn't. They are both great coins, I expect big things from them. WC has a multipool ready for after the POW phase ends. Are you not watching the exchanges? Blackcoin is CRASHING. People are cashing out and buying in to Fluttercoin. Look at the charts. They are exact opposites per times of trades. Amazing. Fluttercoin could reach Blackcoin levels, volume is already 1/3 of Blackcoin. Pretty crazy! |

If anything that 15BTC sell wall may very well be a whale holding down price so he can buy up as many as possible during this churning process. Then he lifts it, and BOOM it shoots to 4000 where he can unload.
These whale guys are crafty.
If I had an extra 25 BTC I'd honestly love to just BUY it out all at once then the whale would be out his coins. Haha. |

Great rally's last days or weeks even. Little drops and bumps along the way shake out those who don't have the stomach for trading, and offer buy opportunities to those that do.
I don't know about 10k. Maybe. People thought Blackcoin was topping and done at 3000 and it ended up hiring 80k.
It happens. FLT is hot right now.

You said yesterday you should buy micro coin at a 3, but it only went up to 4 for a little bit and went down to 2 and even 1. Furthermore you said that one should buy Mint at 15 and that it will go up to 17 soon but it is still at 15. So we'll have to wait and see. Your earlier mentions were great, I give you that. I just think you should be honest about all your recommendations Even the best traders can't have it right all the time of course. I promoted Fluttercoin today at 15. It's Rollin! MRC isn't over. It still went up 33% from my buy recomendation at 3. I can't force it to go higher than 4. Hopefully my advice has made you money, it's what I aim to do. I pick wisely. Cheers, Strato |
