The weekly invested stats went from ~700 to ~200 to ~60 to now 17 btc. The death of ponzi isn't far away.  ...to now ~61. Not so bad, isn't it? The ponzi got 61 btc last week, not because it was doing great but because it was having double spend problem with 0 fee deposits. Cheako's post below explains clearly how it has gone to 61 btc. Firstly the 60BTC figure is a little exaggerated. What happened was that all the payouts where invalidated on the bitcoin network and the software started paying out NEW contributions when the /spent/ funds became available.
So a lot of the 60BTC was ppl hammering the 'now fully funded' Ponzi till the account was empty. This effectively started a new round.
Look at the deposits from 2015-01-31 19:29:06 to 2015-02-02 02:37:24. These are the accounts who were paid out to this week.
Finally, I hope this ponzi trend goes extinct. |

Why people wants to know who is Satoshi Nakamoto? Just to satatiate our stupid curiosity? It seems it's imposible to have a week in this forum without someone asking about Satoshi. In my opinion, the best way to thanks Satoshi for creating Bitcoin is allowing he/she/they to stay anonymous.
Curiousity is the only way humans survive. Curiosity drives us. Yes, but this is an useless curiosity. Discovering who is Satoshi will improve the science? Will stop the death of children in Africa? Will stop wars? Will develop the economy? I agree it is useless, but it's always nice to know the answer. It gives you the best feel satisfaction, please tell me you have felt that before. A popular proverb curisoity in my country says that curiosity kills the cats. Well I don't see any harm if I as an individual find out his identity, I'm not going to do anything. But that's a very good point raised. |

Theymos & Sirius Real names are given and known to public . so that will make Satoshi a group of people and not only one person ... and honestly I don't think he is that dumb to give his real idendity and think that people won't know that he is one of the staff members . so nah .. don't think so ~ Madness Well, we're never ever going to now about what actually happened to him unless he(satoshi) steps forward and explains. Where did you create the vanity address? Did you have 2-factor set up? You don't need to throw out your comp but I wouldn't use it to store or send bitcoins unless you know its safe as you could have some keylogger malware.

I signed onto blockchain.info to send some BTCs somewhere and my balance said 0.00 i looked and thhat was the last transfer to that address every fkn coin ughhhhh this sucks As CrackedLogic told , check your pc (and for the moment generate a new address on a new clean computer). im leaving right now to go get a new laptop throw this one away fk fk fk... i knew i shouldnt have kept so much in 1 spot :-( i know not alot for some people but its taken me a long time to finally get that :-( Never ever keep more than 1btc in your online wallet. Your online wallet should be used for when you're out of the house/away From your wallet. |

If you created a vanity address,it may have been the creators of the address who took your private key. I will think that you would have created it with vanitygen so it may not be such a problem. Check your computer for malware. |
