why are you so negative? whats your mission ? why? we think we know who you are...
You didn't see the almost unanimous opposition to burning the free coins?

Can I asked why all the hate...i thought hackers never show face? Something doesnt seem right with this...and tx just wondering, how would you have kept the coin circulation at 60 mil after the coin got attacked? Honest question. How would we have repaid everyone on minty? I wasnt one of them but I sure wouldnt have wanted the devs to leave me in the dust. Maybe its my rudamentry understanding of this.
First of all, mintpal is responsible for their own security. Second, block chain analysis shows exactly when the attack was done. Mintpal didn't discover the problem until about 2 days later, which shows lax security. Mintpal is responsible for the lost coins, not the devs, even if they were unwilling or unable to properly secure their coin. Since the attacker is watching the thread, he can confirm that the reported date of the attack (May 16) is 2 days after the attack was successful, which concluded on May 14 in the afternoon (USA Central time). I was watching with interest at that time because C2 froze on Polo and then I was interested in what the attacker did. I figured it out by blockchain analysis. It probably would have been quicker to find his post on the thread where he said exactly what he was going to do. LOL Second, if it came to the choice of launching a new coin with 67% more coins or rolling the chain back before the first successful attack on mintpal, I would have rolled back the block chain. I mentioned this to Joel and he said it was too much trouble. If I had enough stake in this coin, I would have done it. It wasn't worth my time because I didn't have enough stake in the coin, even though I was on the rich list, barely. Other attacks came on May 9, early morning and mid day (USA Central). The attacker can confirm all of this. If worse came to worst, I would have no problem sending bag holders to work their problems out with mintpal. Mintpal should be able to secure their interests without passing their failings off on the users. If it came to the point where mintpal would drop C2, that would be preferable to inflating the money supply 67%. Anyway, the attacker pointed out the holes and said he wasn't going to grief this coin anymore. You guys can keep believing that a 40% devaluation of your currency is OK. The hole is still there, so you have only yourselves to blame if you get punked again by another attacker. I'll have fun watching when he does it. I promise, it won't be me.

try this......
close the wallet
remove everything except wallet.dat in the %AppData% \ Coin2.1 folder (DO NOT DELETE Wallet.dat please)
then run the wallet.
Hope this helps.
no same thing happened again alot of errors trying to connect need to get this fixed so I can get my coins back form the swap over Did you ever get this fixed? I'd be interested to know if you have been contacted by the devs about this problem--you know, the ones who think it's cool to bump the money supply by 67%. Please let us know.

oh dear... whats happenning? :-(
i'll pm tx42 and flam and hear their complains/suggestions whatever and forward this to the board.
I sent a message with a deal, but I'm changing it. The devs need to announce that they will burn all unclaimed C2 after a certain time and show how much they burned. They must also burn any that they have decided to award themselves with. All burn must be provable with TXIDs from the block chain. That's the deal. The security hole is in the coin and the attacker is probably taking it as a challenge to kill C2 for a third time. If the extra coins are not burned, then I don't blame him and I won't help to stop him. I do know what the hole is. I was offered to take over C2 from the original devs but I refused because, if I were to do it, I wouldn't have awarded myself anything. I would have kept the coin count exactly the same and would have even kept the 2.0 blockchain. The solution that they came up with is the worst possible solution. It is a value transfer of about 40% from C2 holders to devs and exchanges. It is coin TARP. [C2 NC2 NC2.0 TARP] - That would be better description of this coin.

So much FUDers were visiting Blackcoin thread, for example... After those months in crypto I have spent, I still don't understand those guys sh**ing here and there. Trial to lower price, energetic vampire behaviour, drunked a lot, smoked something heavy or... just an EGO feeding...
Try: Annoyed with Serial Incompetence. LOL! TX you are a serial coin killer! eeee eeee eee eeee eeee! No. I leave that to the C2 devs. "[C2.1 NC2 C2]" like badges signifying the dead coins, right in the title of the thread.

your wrong TX, it was announced way before the coin was exchanged that the amount would be 100 mill. this is common knowledge for almost a week.
It wasn't in the OP. Buried in the spam and fud of the comment section does not count. That's just part of the incompetence. dude you don't know what you are talking about! Go back to your bridge! Read the OP. Omissions abound. Look at the title. "The forward thinking PoS." It's not. I'ts PoW+PoS right now. That's the incompetence.

Dumped this shit gladly @600.
First coin ever with an expiration date... Very nice ! You are away 2 weeks and then you are fucked if you had coin2 in your wallet during this time. Never had a reply from dev at this time.
And now the 51% attack you are some sad clowns. I Hope this coin will die fast.
I advice everyone to stay away from this coin it has too much problems. At best your money will be blocked for such a long time.
Smart guy, Flam. I didn't dump, not expecting the level of incompetence.

Alright. A few days ago C2 was re-re-released and the OP said 60,000,000 total coins. I bought then. Today the OP today says 100,000,000 total coins.
What happened with the rest of the 40,000,000?
What a fucking scam.
Uhmm... you are not really up to date as all of us knew that c2.1 when was released had 100M coins... So ... are you mad or what? You don't know nothing about our community and you don't know nothing about c2.1. The OP said 60,000,000 coins on the day 2.1 was released and several days thereafter. This coin is run by serial incompetent devs. Don't worry. Coin 2.2 will be 150,000,000 coins because the devs left another huge security hole. This coin has been crap from the start. I bought based on historical value thinking that it would return. But of course its not going to return if you nearly double the coin supply then leave in a security hole that killed the coin twice in a row. So, yeah, maybe not a scam, but definitely Serial Incompetenceno they didn't, but nice try. No they didn't what? Leave in the hole? Yes they did. The attacker even mentioned what it was. Go back an read the thread.

dude what is your problem? why do you keep attacking us? if you are causing this?...
Nice backreading here on the C2 thread. Guys, morons, idiots: he's doing it to expose serial incompetence! Learn a lesson. I explained to the original devs how the attacks were coming and they turned around and exacerbated the mistakes. Of course this guy is going to keep hammering at this stupid coin. I can't believe the incompetence. LEARN A LESSON!!

There's nothing more centralized than massive Amazon-esque cloud farms and botnets slamming a cpu coin while the little guy with a few cpu's get's pushed out. GPU's being able to mine QCN will help this coin grow and not only survive, but prosper. Especially given that GPUs do not presently offer an advantage over CPUs, only a new method to mine it and way to distribute QCN to more people.
Exactly. QCN is the fairest of all cryptonotes, but the stupid CPU mining is a killer. This is a botnet dump dream. "CPU"/botnet friendly is going to kill all the cryptonotes eventually. Bot coins won't survive. There is a reason that most coins these days have a quick GPU PoW --> PoS lifecycle. The market will turn its back on anything else, and justly so. no such a thing. ain't happening , coin is dispersing world wide. have a great night
Stick to your ideologies. Have fun wasting your time on a DOA coin. It was good for that one pump I guess. I'll be back with drkman to say I told you so when the only people posting here are crickets.
