1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: October 31, 2015, 08:38:56 AM
Growth of Bitcoins is totally depends on the policy of the governments. If all the countries and their governments start regulating and recognizing bitcoins as a legal digital currency then there will be increase in the user of bitcoins and it will be more popular if accepted universally.

The meaning of this sentence, as it is written, is not correct. The growth of bitcoin depends from the technology which produce it. And is (for the moment) 25 bitcoins every about 10 minutes. So having nothing to do nor with Governments and nor with other things. It will be the correct one if it was written the growth of the known of the bitcoin is totally depends on the policy of the governments.

I agree with the explanations given following the above sentence (if written in the correct mode) but the word "totally" seems a little excessive. I agree that if the bitcoin will be regulated by The Government of one country would be a great day for bitcoin and its known and spreed in that country will be much more fast, but there are even other way in which it can be known. In my country bitcoin is not yet regulated and I know much about it. In the USA before the regulation existed to many people which knew and used regularly it before its regulation from the Authorities. The same in all the world. So the known of bitcoin is not totally  depend from the policy of Governments. There are to many others ways in which this thing can be make true.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debate: Do you think criminals do more good than harm to bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 12:27:23 PM
Lately I have seen another news of some kidnappers demanding ransom in bitcoin. Then the family seems to be really bought $1.7M worth of BTC (about 5.5k BTC as my estimate). This would be one of the reason for the recent price increase ($1.7M is a lot of money!). However medias keep spreading false information on bitcoin, like stating 'bitcoin is using widely in criminals' etc.

So how do you think? Does the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

This is a very controversial question and it is mainly an ethical matter than an economic one. If it will be handled only as economical one for sure make good. The big demand rise the price of bitcoin and this show and strength the power of it. But if we go further and see for what this bitcoin is used and who buy it then the things changes. That big amount of bitcoin is bought by a criminal (or some of those) and its use (or even part of it) will be for sure used by this criminal (or criminals) for bad purposes (even if it will be used only to feed him or those). In this kind of view the opinions are divided. Some people don't care about this second part of interpretation and think that their action do good to bitcoin. The seconds ones, which put in balance what is right and what is wrong and then decide choosing the right, think that their action do bad to bitcoin making the others to think that bitcoin is used mostly by the criminals and for doing bad things. I'm part of the second group.
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Government Starting to Buy Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2015, 12:14:12 PM
Knowing their opportunism and ability to smell and "predict" the best future for those, this thing, even it is against their actual formal rules versus bitcoin, have big probabilities to be true. Their first motto in development and living (declared by Mao Zedong at 1956 but not an original him's idea) was: Lets flourish 100 flowers, lets fight 100 schools. One of the interpretations of this phrase is development in any way possible without having in mind any kind of prejudice or obstacle or without creating barriers to all the possible future development. They understand that bitcoin could have a big future and are preparing themselves to be ready for that time.

It was the only last thing that misses to Karpeles. Now its bucket is full with feats. Remain only to count those and to convert (in the right proportion) in jail years. And then even double those. Having in mind all the people who lost their wealth because of him this is the minimum to be made.
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your guess on the price of bitcoin for Jan 2016 and July 2016? on: October 30, 2015, 10:19:38 AM
Hard to give exact numbers, but pretty sure they will be way over $300.

I'd say at least $2500 for june.

January is a bit more tricky, but probably between $500 and $1000.

If it will be such price for bitcoin in this period your will have a little gift from me. Learn my nick (write it in some place to not forget) and when the price will arrive such amount pm me. I will send you as a sign of appreciation an amount of satoshi. This is an official promise. You can stake this my post in order to have it as a prove of my engagement.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC will cause the end of public debt? on: October 30, 2015, 10:04:33 AM
If public debt is caused by the creation of money by the bank, if the BTC is affirmed, bank could not give money that doesn exist right?

Firs the money are not created (stamped) by the (commercial) bank (as you mean) but by the Central Bank of every country (or the Authority which have such role in the given country).

If bitcoin will be regulated and being legal (meaning affirmed by you) that's will be good for him in that country. Will be more easily spread and used in that country. But that's all. Bitcoin cannot be used as national currency of no one country for to many reasons. Firs of all because it is owned by it. Second because is decentralized and cannot be controlled only by that (one) country. The are even other factors which cannot allow such adoption. But if it will be possible to be national currency of some country and will be managed right the answer would be that the problems with the overproduction (stamped) money in that country will be much more few.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: It's ok to love the decentralized bitcoin but why hate the centralized one? on: October 30, 2015, 08:19:02 AM
A centralized digital currency/gov coin is a fucking nightmare
Everything you earn, buy & sell will be controlled and spied on, you will be nothing more than a taxed livestock

exactly, it would be even easier to control than the dollar, which would be absolutely horrible for freedom.

imagine a coin where they can trace all your transactions, control the supply and instantly freeze your account and your ability to buy/sell anything.

if such a coin would become a global standard, we are literally less free than slaves.

don't like the government? How about you can't buy groceries anymore?

Thanks for the comment.

Where have found you in the main post the the centralized digital coin is a "government" coin? Can you show here the exact sentence in which is expressed such thought?

Then another question. Why use you the dollar or every kind of "governmental" money (in my country the money is controlled by the Central Bank and not from Government)? Why don't you live without those? Maybe you can use the barter system. It could be not controlled so easy from the Government and you will be more free.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: It's ok to love the decentralized bitcoin but why hate the centralized one? on: October 29, 2015, 05:17:20 PM
Bitcoin is one such
phenomenon, with its quasimythical origins, ground breaking
software, and fairly obvious potential, however to date early
adopters outside of the
murky world of sites such as Silk Road, the now defunct online drug store (watch out
for Silk Road 2, origins unknown),
have been few and far between.

Bitcoin’s somewhat seedy reputation
has been cemented by the seizure of
Silk Road, the bankruptcy of the Mt.Gox exchange, which at one point
was handling 70% of all Bitcoin
transactions, the extreme volatility
of the online currency, and concerns regarding  safety and
online theft.
Like any other fiat currency,

however, Bitcoin’s do not simply
disappear into thin air, and the US
government has done more than
anyone to restore their reputation,
successfully auctioning off Bitcoins
seized from Silk Road in much the
same way that the Miami vice squad
might auction a speedboat seized as
part of a drugs raid.

In which world do you live you addy boy? Do you know that this post can be considered as spam here? And this can make possible your ban from the forum? It is out of everything and have no any meaning. Watch to yourself and ask: what I am doing?

Anyhow I am trying to bring you in Earth. Read very well the main post and if have something to tell about what is written there will be welcomed to write here your thoughts about that post.

Do a search within yourself and stay in peace. Hope that you will find good reasons and right meanings to understand well what you have written in your post and what I am answering to you.

After the bots Bitmixer are presenting another phenomenon. Who knows which kind of surprises will offer in the future this site....
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: October 29, 2015, 10:21:57 AM
If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house?

Ive been thinking if it went into very high figures i could cash out 80-90% of bitcoin and buy a house outright with no mortgage.  Is that even a good idea though? - basically 80% of networth in a house hmmm.  On the other hand i dont want to have a mortgage and im fed up with renting due to landlords, letting agents and lack of control.

You must define what do you mean with "very high figures".

But a priory my answer it will be following. Depends firstly from the number of bitcoins you have and the need for house you have. And from the market of the houses where you live. I will buy a house with bitcoin only if I would have minimum the double of bitcoins which I will spend to buy the house (not true in your case), if I will be in high need for a house and probably if the market of houses in my country will be a good one - which mean that the value of my house will be greater in the future (with big probabilities because no one known how it will be the prices of this kind of products in the future). Otherwise will try to buy it with normal money (with credit in your case).

You will have always the bitcoins as a warranty if you will take a credit. So why use bitcoin which can have much higher price in the future?

If you believe that the above "high figures" mentioned by you will be the upper limit of the price of bitcoin no one of my abovereasoning have meaning for you. But I think that the max price of bitcoin needed to much time to be reached. Not so early. In those suppositions are based all my above thoughts.

Anyhow these are only guessings. Everyone know himself what is best and is worst for him. So the right decision can be taken only by you.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Everything Bullish Thread (Bullish Media Center) on: October 29, 2015, 09:49:50 AM

Another course about bitcoin and its technology offered this time from Princeton University. Another big news. One the most prestigious in the world. Cannot be possible to not accept or respect the subject of this course. I don't understand why Bitcoin Foundation don't do publicity using such kind of news. Are the best ones that explain, without arguments and only naming this fact, the potential and the power of bitcoin.

Bitcoin Foundation has one of its main aim the promotion of bitcoin. Where can find those a best example than this? If the Universities create and hold courses about bitcoin this is the maximum of seriousness had for the subject of the course. They do only meetings between developers, investors etc. While must work with the simple people. They are the very power of bitcoin. They are its users. They need trust and faith to know and use bitcoin. No one then the knowledge of the organization of courses by such kind of universities can give them such kind of truth and faith in bitcoin. This must be made from the Bitcoin Foundation. Make possible the known of this kind of facts.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 29, 2015, 09:31:30 AM
Advertising is difficult when it comes to a service/payment method/currency. People are willing to buy things thats advertised on TV because they have seen it lots of times and know it works. An average joe would think of Bitcoin as a ponzi when they see it somewhere if it is advertised as having low fees.

I am not sure about your part in bold if the average joe will see in the publicity made to the bitcoin even that the value of it is waited to be very high in the future (with the needed warnings) and the the fact that it is accepted by Microsoft and Dell to buy their products. Then even from to many other - more or less known merchants - in all the world. Then reading the info about it offered about it only by Wikipedia. Then all the other info about it that can be found in internet (if will do a simple search),

If the average joe will be lazy and will not have the desire to do all the above things, I think that it can be even only the first publicity which can make him curious about bitcoin and to try it.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: October 29, 2015, 09:17:54 AM
So far earning from HYIP.

Are you sure or are telling something only to write a posts? The hyip are the most pure form of scam. Those have not any source from where come the money earned by the users and all the money which circulate on those online "businesses" are the money of the new investors. It is the classic form of Ponzi scheme. If you continue with those (if really you have earnings since this moment) you will lose all your money (earned and yours).

And in any way must not be suggested to the new users of bitcointalk. Seeing this kind of publicity here and attracted from the high profits offered by those everyone can be tempted to try. The probability to win  something it will be only if it will be between the firsts but this kind of earnings create truth and make the user to go forward. Then will be the normal end. The loss of everything.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 29, 2015, 09:05:19 AM
you can earn a lot with gambling though of course it depends on how much are you willing to gamble the more you risk to loose the more you win

How much have your earned gambling? I bet that your earnings are the loss of all the money given to you for dressing, eating with your friends and your girl/boyfriend, for books, for seeing movie and for pleasures that I don't know what must be.

Or you wanted to do a post and spare the first thing you have in mind. Maybe something transgressive to be trendy and cool. Gambling is something that only the most courageous do. the others, they who don't like it or want to spent money in and with the normal things don't deserve attention and are not important.

Wake up boy/girl/whatever you are. Gambling give nothing. Or better, give disease, as well as secure lost of all your money. Nothing else. All the occasionally winners go again to gamble to earn and leave everything. Even the last penny.

That's not exact in my opinion, of course there is always a risk to even lose everything, but in the other hand there is a possibility to win and make huge profit. It's depending first in your luck and then your strategy and experience

Can you show me some strategies and in which way the experience affect the earnings in gambling? I want to win some money in gambling and need to learn how. It is not the firs time that i ask these things to various "professionists" in gambling but never has had an answer. Only various words. Naturally the knowledge must give approx even the probability they have to earn. If are not an secret.
1174  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 29, 2015, 08:57:18 AM
WOrk hard and don't expect too much. Believe and follow your dreams. When you work very hard and you have belief in yourself
you can achieve whatever you want, sky is the limit and one day the world will look upto you once you succeed, remember rome was not build in a day.

i like it Smiley
sometimes i get hopeless, and lose my dream, because i try hardworking but my earning still not enough to life
but i trust if i believe and follow my dream, one day i can achieve whatever you want

Not only the part bolded by you Proxiebuier but all the post of Miracal is very significant and give hope. But unfortunately these beauty words serve only to give hope and not to surrender. I tell always such kind of phrases to make myself and who read those (if liked by them) feeling better. But my life show that most of the cases this is even its limit. Are to many other factors which must be fulfilled that someone achieve what he/she want. As for the sky, this is limit only in the movie.  Cheesy

I don't want to play the role of killjoy. I don't want to tell only that if sometimes your dreams are big and you don't achieve those, the fall can be dangerous and can hurt you so much. So better will less emphases and down to earth than fly in the sky and fall from that altitude. Can go very bad in the second case.

Believe me. It was only a my thought this post. Ignore it if make you feel bad.  Wink

Thank's for your suggestion Smiley
my "GOAL" earning 0.5BTC/week and some month ago i get it from cloudmining, trading and small from sign campaign
after my ymail get hacked and i lose ~1.5BTC and i lose at trading ~2BTC (bittrex) im hopeless and I have a mind to leave bitcoin

now I lowered my target Wink
My target ~0.2/week...

Im sure I can reach it

A little hard to understand you.  Wink  You have in mind to leave bitcoin because of being hopeless and then have in mind to arrive the target (of earnings) 0.2 bitcoin in a week. How is possible this my friend? If you leave bitcoin from where will come your 0.2 bitcoin in a week?  Huh  Shocked

Or I have not understand well your thoughts in your post?
1175  Economy / Economics / Re: It's ok to love the decentralized bitcoin but why hate the centralized one? on: October 29, 2015, 08:44:10 AM
That's mean that the centralization, as a quality, has to do not with the fact of being centralized in itself, but with the fact who is behind the centralization? That's correct?
Partly correct. Digital tokens of existing centralised money systems are acceptable to me because we have been using them for years (bank accounts, credit cards, phonecards, supermarket points...)
Where is the not correct part of my sentence?  Cheesy

It's not that it's incorrect, it's not capturing the "parent-child" relationship and the deterioration of decentralisation in a dynamic process.

I am not against a new centralised crypto created based on an existing centralised payment system, there is no change in centralisation. The crypto is merely an extention of the previous system because it's already centralised before, irrespective of "who".

I am against a decentralised crypto dynamically moving towards a centralised environment, also irrespective of "who".

Bitcoin is another case which have nothing to do with the entire phrase. Bitcoin is decentralized. In my phrase is told only for the various centralized cases.  Wink

That explains it. Yes, it does not apply to existing decentralised cryptos.  Smiley

A little hard for me to understand your explanations. My not native English and your "complicated" and "sophisticated" explanations make me to formulate in another way my part in bold.

It will be reliable for you a centralized digital coin (with the same or better qualities like bitcoin), created from an investment of one rich person or group of peoples (investors) which will be not only the producers of it (will create and own the only pool or the various pools of mining of the digital coin) but even its owners? Do you use you such kind of digital coin if it will be in the market?
1176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 29, 2015, 08:29:45 AM
One thing is the gold rule never invest more then can afford to loose the thing is we are atracted to try altcoins dreaming to multiply our bitcoins faster.

This sentence have meaning for gambling and not for investing. The real investment, made after the needed analysis, can be risky and this is told and can be known during the previous mentioned action, but never so risky as in gambling when everything is luck and nothing reasoning. In the (right) investment, the normal one, must be the business plans, the way in which the resources will (shall) be managed, the time of returns, the amounts of returns, the probability to not arrive the objectives and t many others data that make possible reasoning about it. So have to do at all with the possibility to lose but with the possibility to win. It is a totally other thing the gambling when your sentence have full right to reign.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 29, 2015, 08:20:22 AM
The advertising isn't needed. Adoption comes with ease of use. BTC just isn't easy enough to use. If grandma can't use it, it doesn't need to be marketed.

I bet that your grandma cannot use even the smartphone or the computer. That's doesn't mean that bitcoin is not easy to use. I find its use less complicated then the previous ones mentioned in the first sentence. That's first. The second have to do again with the same subjects. The smartphone and the computers are much more known than bitcoin and yet are innumerable the ways of advertising made to those. So, why not the same strategy for bitcoin?
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 29, 2015, 08:13:52 AM
haha my strategy was i after i win, i wait for 2 minutes or so then do it again one the same side.my luck is always bigger that method because i mostly win. up until now i have .0082

If you will play betting with 1 satoshi every round that's ok. But attention in the moment when you will (if) bet 2 satoshi. If you will do this you will lose for sure. This amount will be always bigger and bigger and one day (again) for sure you will lose all your winnings. Then you will play with your money to win the money you have lost. And it will be another in the days to come your will lose even your money. No one can win against the casino or the online gamble site in long term.
1179  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Everything Bullish Thread (Bullish Media Center) on: October 28, 2015, 05:23:57 PM
No. Have no reason to be punished us. But we can make something to protect those. At least writing about this problem and tell the truth about gambling. Don't make publicity to it even this can help bitcoin. The human kind become before bitcoin. It is not only my close cousin which had this problem. There are other thousands. Maybe reading the bad that gambling do, this can serve as help for them to stay away from this gangrene.

We must not forget that being weak is not their fault. Never. It is something that has to do with their genes. So they need protection and not leaving in their own.

I totally agree with you my friend, but your close cousin reminds me of people who buy cigarettes although it's written on the box that cigarettes causes a lot of miscellaneous cancers (I'm an ex-smoker since 4-5 years).

And I was really enjoying smoking, until someday came, and I realized how much fool I was.

I was weak in front of cigarettes, but only time and life lessons learned me to look for my life and be healthy.

Even him stopped the gambling 10 years ago. But when the damage is made. He has yet today debits to repay. Its weakness now don't exist anymore. It was only for some months. Like your case. But are others that may have this period of its life if we do publicity or don't fight the gambling. We must choose the most fair thing to do.
1180  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] [HIGHEST PAY] COINUT.COM ★ Signature Campaign ★ Pay per post ★ Weekly ★ on: October 28, 2015, 04:05:55 PM
I think that izanagi made a little mistake by putting the details for the next week period.
The post count is added by 1 which affect the total posts (-1) when izanagi will count them.
This remembers me when 1 week period was 8 days (by adding always 1 day at the next period)

You tell that he has made the week with 8 days. If is this the reason it is not fair. This week must have 6 days. One day less mean less possibility to have the maximum from your weekly work. I had no need for that posts the previous week because was over the max of posts even without those. So are gone in vain. While for this week may have need for those.

I made again the calculations. Even if the previous week was calculated with 8 days I am yet 2 posts less. Are nothing but this put in doubt that is the 8 days week the reason of all this mess.

I hope that it will be an explanation. Anyhow 17 post are not few. No problem if there are a reason. Even I cannot understand how it will be possible this thing. But let's wait him's explanations.
