1161  Other / Off-topic / Re: These 10 cars have the greatest potential lifespan — and 6 are Toyotas on: December 08, 2022, 05:51:06 PM
I choose to differ. Yes Toyota makes very strong cars that’s the truth i especially like their Toyota Hilux it’s very strong and have a very long life span. But I don’t think Toyata makes the strongest , long life span cars.

In my opinion I have to give it to Mercedes Benz. This car company has long history on cars built with the best materials that are strong and long lasting. My issues with them is that their spare part are not readily available everywhere in the world.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin no longer be Bitcoin if it were adopted by everyone in the world ? on: December 07, 2022, 07:51:56 PM
Definitely not, I personally want Bitcoin to be adopted by all, this would be an issue if anyone only sees the investment value of Bitcoin of not it’s not really a problem if you ask me.

Bitcoin is getting mass adoption and maybe in future it would be used in the same rate as Fiat. And then all issues in the financial system we are experiencing right now would be gone.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 06, 2022, 08:05:42 PM
Unbelievable but Morocco are in the quarter finals of the World Cup despite all odds the held the Spanish team to a draw even if it was not a contest which the Spanish team out player the Moroccan.

Now I think there is very much believe in the team and I am Still putting my money that they would beat their next opponent which is likely Portugal.
1164  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Japan fall behind in the crypto industry ? on: December 04, 2022, 08:23:23 PM
Apart from Japan recent success in the World Cup going on In Qatar one other thing I like about the country is their citizens discipline. I think it’s exemplary. I have no doubt that Japan is going to be amongst the leading nation economically.

It’s a country bless with population and good numbers youth, I think they have a strong Crypto-Currency relationship but I don’t have facts to prove this. Going my the country love for technology and development I believe there should be good amount of strong crypto-currency enthusiast
1165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hey everyone, New here. on: December 04, 2022, 07:18:45 PM
I don’t know how stake works but with few replies from here if I were you I would do my legitimate research on its, by the way you did not specify the currency the money is in. If it’s in dollars that is a huge amount.

Well we aren’t your financial advisers I don’t think you should have one here, I see the forum as my crypto-currency guide and help but not a forum for financial advice. And if I were you I would probably have nothing to do with gambling again and probably hold some Bitcoin. Like I said take no financial advice just like that from here.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worth $1.5B withdrawn from Coinbase in 48 hours on: December 04, 2022, 05:41:54 PM
I don’t think exchanges like Binance would be attracting a well crypto-currency learned person. The dawn of the FTX issues has become quite an eye opener and many people are learning from such.

I believe we may see more withdrawals like this coming soon, imagine you had such amount on an exchange or even half of it and something happens to them, it would put anyone in a state that maybe beyond recoverable. If we weren’t affected by such exchange problems yet it’s best to learn from those that did.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto exchagnes regain users trust with PoR? on: December 03, 2022, 08:57:00 PM
Well firstly crypto exchanges never lost the trust of Crypto-currency enthusiast. Dont generalize it. I have been using crypto-currency exchange and i havent had any distrust.

Well what i have noticed is that this has to do with centralized exchange like FTX and binance, right now its best to use decentralized exchanges. Because its most secured and your privacy is protected.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 03, 2022, 08:35:32 PM
Great games today. Nederland beat the United state of America rather easily if you asked me, the USA team were very inexperienced at the back and with Nederland goals almost being similar.

While in the late game which is still on right now Argentina is winning Australia by 2 goals to none for Australia. I think the quarter final match is already set and this would be a big test for both teams that qualifies.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine owning Bitcoin as an xmas gift on: December 03, 2022, 06:45:36 PM
Well honestly since you said no matter how much then I don’t think it’s a big deal, if I need Bitcoin so much as a gift an I have friends who aren’t so much of a bitcoin enthusiast all I have to do is convert the gift I get from them into bitcoin it’s that easy.

It’s the season of sharing and we shouldn’t really decide the gift we get from others,  no matter how much we are delighted in owning Bitcoin.
1170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 7 Rules for Writing a Good Post Title on: December 03, 2022, 05:23:07 PM
I don’t think there is any school of taught to write a post title here in the forum. I think before anyone starts a post here the first thing to consider is the post title and how the post title should be.

Really I don’t consider a title more importantly than the content of the post but the issue I have is when the title of a post is like catchy and when you read the post it’s totally not in relation with the body of the post.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 02, 2022, 08:47:05 PM
As it stands Brazil alongside Switzerland would be going through to the next round expect the Cameroonian takes the lead on Brazil and Serbia equalizes Switzerland.

Brazil has already a secured spot but they aren’t top form in this match and Cameroon can take advantage of this, I think the World Cup has been one where smaller football countries are now running the show.
1172  Other / Off-topic / Re: Am I being scammed? on: December 02, 2022, 08:35:00 PM
First I would say you have been scammed off your initial payment, I would be surprised if that is not the case and also did they provide any form where they swore to the United state council or what ever the scammers calls it?

First I see greed from you because you wanted to get the money they offered you fast (from your post the scammers made it an urgent contest) giving you less time to ask questions about the possibilities of it being a scam, they got you there and now are definitely trying to get you again.
1173  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: December 02, 2022, 07:49:13 PM
Hello everyone how we Dey na, I see a post for Facebook wey person Dey talk say Binance na the reason wey dey make serious adoption for crypto-currency in Nigeria.

We all no say exchanges like Binance are centralized and no support or protect person privacy at all, so Wetin una think, personally I no go attribute the success of Crypto-currency in Nigeria to Binance.
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We People Cannot Think Like Whales 🐋 🐳? on: December 02, 2022, 06:47:05 PM
How can I reason like a whale when I am not a whale, it’s very simple whales are people with high amounts of crypto-coin so high that it makes them influential and any move the take has an effect on the market.

And one thing the whale has that you don’t (if you aren’t a whale) is large Money or you haven’t been accumulating when the coin was cheaper, so you ought to first become a whale to be a whale. Many whales don’t associate with decentralized exchanges like binance that’s why their privacy is protected.
1175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bank accounts on: December 01, 2022, 08:13:02 PM
You shouldn’t be surprised by this just like UK many other countries bank like mine has some issues on Crypto-currency transactions. I think some of this banks are controlled by the government just like yours and they are working in accordance to some restrictions placed.

Personally I avoid centralized exchanges, p2p alternative has been working for me both in buying and selling crypto-currency.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 07:46:17 PM
The Belgium so called Golden team are out of the World Cup group stage, I think I would take side with Kevin De bruyne, the Belgian players played like bunch of tired legs although the tournament, they played like a team that were forced into the competition I am not surprised that they are out this early, it would have not made any sense for them if they had qualified anyways.

Big congratulations to the Moroccan team they not only qualified but they came out as the group leaders for their group, I believe this was a big win for the Moroccan football team and Africa in general.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Is a ban on Retirees Cypto Account a fair deal? on: December 01, 2022, 07:07:09 PM
There is no way this makes sense to me, this is like taking away someone’s fundamental Human right. I believe anyone that is a Retiree is definitely an adult and can make decisions on their own.

I understand the government also has the interest of its citizens at heart but they should make it optional, they is no safety in the financial ecosystem and that’s the truth even Fiat has its own risk on their citizens, so if a Retiree want a crypto-currency action they shouldn’t be deprived off that.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 30, 2022, 08:32:50 PM
Argentina are now two goals up against Poland, even after a missed penalty by Messi and this has already secured them a place in the next round, after a slow start and a loss to less favorite Saudi Arabia I think the team has really made amends for that loss.

It’s now up to Mexico and Poland to fight for the first runner up position they are both currently tied on points and goal difference
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm finally saying goodbye to CEX and Centralised projects on: November 30, 2022, 07:07:15 PM
There is no bad time to start a new decision that’s wise, I don’t see the essence of Being in Crypto-currency and still riding with anything that’s centralized, so many projects in crypto-currency not only put your finances at risk it also puts your security and privacy at risk too and even worse when the project is centralized.

Centralized project, exchange has gone down a lot if we go by history and when a lot of people goes down with it. One of crypto-currency glorified value is its decentralization.
1180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bringing it back to your ears: Not your keys, not your coins on: November 29, 2022, 07:20:33 PM
And I can say that OP your topic can not be over emphasized enough, still we have people who still go against all that, Binance are part of the bad tooth in Crypto-currency that slowly may affect the ecosystem negatively.
I was asked by a colleague of mine to teach him how to trade I don’t have full knowledge of trading but willing to help asked him to move his coin to an exchange he feels comfortable he acted shocked like how can someone own a wallet that’s not on an exchange. It’s now this bad people having their Crypto-currency portfolio on exchanges. If you consider your safety then You need to own your private wallet.
