Even though we were a shambles last season, Kepa was one of the most valuable assets. Under Potter, Chelsea were the third club with the most clean sheets before Lampard arrived and fouled things up.

That being said, we have a better team now, and our next five games are fucking good to not at least have one Chelsea player.
The before which ever manager doesn’t matter bro, the stats still counts for Chelsea and last season was a disaster. This season, can’t say I don’t expect a much more improved and better Chelsea with Pochettino but until that happens.
Chelsea had a much dominant games last season and I can almost see the same trend here, where they get to play all the games and end up loosing it to a weak side. They’ve been good so far against West Ham United but somehow, they are behind yet again.
Just now, Chilwell, has been substituted for Caicedo and that ends the point counts for those who owns Chilwell. Perhaps this is what is to be expected henceforth.

Watkins captainers where are you? Lets go
Don’t make me have to regret my choices with not lifting my captain band from E. Haaland against such a good side like Newcastle United. Haaland and 4 points, felt like a goalkeeper that wasn’t able to manage a clean sheet. He would have to make up for that.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2023, 12:48:39 PM
I'd avoid all Chelsea players like the plague.
Like the plague,  Grin
Your damned right am doing the same. Ain’t got no Chelsea players and have got zero plans of getting any at the time.

Why are you avoiding Chilwell? He is the best defender in the game at the moment. Playing for solid club which has best fixtures and if that wasn't enough almost plays like a winger. Everything Trent used to be and 2.5M cheaper. If I did not have him he would be my first pick.
All this assertions from only one league game played? I think it’s too early for many credits and lest not forget, Chelsea isn’t a very good team that can promise you clean sheets and that means point deductions. The goal conversion rate for Chelsea is really low and they haven’t shown much promises from there first game though, it would be nice to see what changes the new ins on the team could do about that. Else, if Chilwell isn’t giving assists or scoring goals with little chances of a clean sheet, you can be rest assured of 2 points.
Though a £5.7m seems cost effective am not sure I want him now.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: August 20, 2023, 09:49:29 AM
    • When I already on adrenaline mode after losing more than 50% of my bankroll and start chasing losses using huge bets.
    • Chasing small bets lose while I’m already up by huge profit just to close my balance to nearest whole number
These two scenarios happens to be some of the once am rocked with a few times. In the first scenario in quote, it was back in the day that it tricked me into making bets to cover loses but in recent times, it doesn’t come like playing an entirely new or different bets but, seeking other markets in the same game in an attempt to catch up with the loses. None the less, those markets often turns out to carry just the same amount of risk and the low odds on them pushes you to increase stake which could as well pile up the loses. Well, it’s only buy once in a while but, these hardly comes by.

The second scenario happens when am having an accumulated bet and it’s usually very funny. It’s funny how these whole number thing stimulates your greed. You find yourself adding more odds by picking new games or markets you don’t consider dangerous, when the irregular amount still result, you sort out for another smaller odd that gives you the win impression, should it not whole or revolve around a whole number, you find yourself looking out for another. Eventually, you’ll end up confused and with more games than you had hoped, lol!

Chilwell hasn't even played GW2 yet, and his price has already changed by 0.2.

At the moment, I have a very strong temptation to use the chip to change half of the team. I just brought Madison to my team and he got injured even though he played the full 90 minutes ... want to keep Salah and still have Sánchez, Chilwell, Mbeumo on the team. So many thoughts that haunt me  Cry

    Quote
A player am watching his price change is Isak and I might just have him on my team in no time. He’s too dog for Newcastle and could produce good results even on a bad day except, while playing against Manchester City though.

Salah is one player am still having complicated thoughts about. He got his penalty scored and only managed to find the goal on a second attempt, his first and second game has been on an average of 5points and I feel his over priced for that kind of result. Players like Mbeumo and even Luis Diaz are doing way better. Perhaps Salah might shine in the league later on but at the time, he doesn’t seem like a best choice to have my £12.5m vested on. That would go a long way to enrich my bankroll and bench as well.

A flexibility I would get to reshuffle the team which brings the idea of a wild card to my mind. Just having conflicting thoughts about the whole thing.
1165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we see bitcoin as? on: August 19, 2023, 11:57:48 PM
Bitcoin the only decentralised cryptocurrency that is dependable and guaranteed return on investment which is undeniably the truth about it.
    Guarantees you say?
Well, that depends grossly on what are your plans for your investment. You jump into trading without having a good enough experience, you would be swimming in loses. You buy and when the bears come, you couldn’t hold for the season to pass so you can sell when the bulls are rocking the market, you’re as well tossed.
So yeah, the guarantees is dependent on your experience and plans towards your investment.

    Quote
Bitcoin as a source of income or as an investment plan, which is better?
(It has many advantages and disadvantages, but advantages superceeds the disadvantages). Putting the disadvantages into consideration and as a person that want to lower their risk of loss, will bitcoin be suitable as a source of income (not fully, like part-time job), or investing fully in them and wait for a large profit since many users here in the forum foresee it that, at halving the price always go up above the current All time high.
I’m having difficulty differentiating between it as a source of income or investment. Investments are sources of income so, you might want to straighten that up because, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

Still, bitcoin is a currency and only serve as an asset while, you could trade it as well to profit yourself.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies are now playing a major role in regulating the economy on: August 19, 2023, 11:47:51 PM
A significant surge in cryptocurrency investment has swept across the globe. Every country worldwide is now actively considering their stance on cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency was even at the center of the US election. Various studies have shown that cryptocurrencies could dominate the economy in the next few years. Despite the political divide in America, Republicans and Democrats agree that cryptocurrencies will dominate the economy of the future. A survey found that more than half (53 percent) of Americans see crypto as the future, including 59 percent of Democrats and 51 percent of Republicans.

Currently, Americans want the regulations for crypto to be more transparent so that they can adopt it better. Republicans and Democrats also agree on the need for regulation to ensure that it becomes a safe investment option for American investors. 4 out of 5 Americans have a positive view of crypto.
The possibility of this dominance has been some of the bases for its outright rejection by most. That’s because, they see in so many ways how they wouldn’t be generating the needed income from taxes not being able to properly regulate cryptocurrency nor taxe it. This makes it a daring thing to do because, once they accept it and open the eyes of the public to what could be, there wouldn’t be any going back from there.

Regulation as well isn’t something that the crypto space is about as, it’s some of its many qualities that makes the space more adorned and taking that away from it would mean, taking a part of its qualities. Little wonder why people run from doing KYC. They want a space with no ties and that’s what regulation speaks of, ties and more.

Well now i see the higlights of the Liverpool game, come on man!, that its not a red card for McCallister, if you play football sometime in your life you know that, also he doesnt went with the soil of his feet, so complete nonsense, and more thinking about the play-on , play-on historically mentality of Premier League.

Another thing i noticed, HOW ON THE HELL MCCALLISTER TRANSFER WAS 42 millions and Caicedo one was 132 millions, this football its completly broken and corrupted.

Both played for the same team, and were at the exact same level (no matter who you like the most, that its a pure subjetive thing), and plus Mccalister went champion of the world..... no words.
Uhmmmm it’s a fantasy pool, not the regular premier league thread.

Still, it was a high boots for McCallister, he had all the pins beneath his boots exposed and stepped right on Christie. I can’t say I haven’t seen way worst that didn’t go with a straight red but, it really was up to the referee to decide. McCallister was reckless with that challenge, he knew it, understood that he made a mistake and went straight to apologizing but, the red seemed it fit for a red.

Good thing he ain’t on my team, it would a great GW2 if a couple of guys here had him for that point deduction, lol…
Does that penalty safe counts on first attempt, I mean, M. Salah scoring on a second attempt doesn’t notify the fact that the penalty was saved by the goalkeeper as per penalty saves righ?

What happened to that reliable source that puts J. Stones in missing just the Supercup with Sevilla again?
That source was correct at the time that was shared. Stones got injured in training after Sevilla match.
It apparently was but, so was my prediction of a possible minor hamstring turning into a major injury should he not be rested and they didn't, bringing him to warm up for Newcastle United big game and thee he was, injured.

    Quote
This GW should be my worst in first 5 weeks of the game so this is your opportunity to catch up with me Smiley As long as Salah doesn't outscore Haaland by a lot I will be happy with my GW result, Mbuemo blank would do nicely as well.

I want penalty for Spurs to see who is their no.1 penalty taker and it will also help with my both to score bet.
I wonder if I did catch up with this sort of points. It's a big game where I expected E. Haaland to show his big foot but, not even an assist came from him, a big waste of my captain. I thought of it though only later today, knowing how difficult Newcastle United could be buy of course, that was way late with kick-off haven't started yesterday.

Mbuemo happened to have been the man today for most.
How do I not have Solly March on my team again... even with how much I acknowledge him and aware of his gifts!
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: August 18, 2023, 11:59:52 PM
If Stones and Gabriel are fit to play I'm gonna roll my FT.

My man, did you not hear the news? Stones injured his hammy in training and now he's down to 5.4m.

But I guess it makes no sense to make a second transfer right now with GW2 deadline tonight.
Yeah, I got the news, and there was nothing I could do but replace him with Cash from my bench since I expect Aston Villa to keep a clean sheet against Everton. The mini blank week didn't affect me either.

We are all for Turner no clean sheet tonight aren't we?
What happened to that reliable source that puts J. Stones in missing just the Supercup with Sevilla again?
Gambling fvcks you good when you least expect and oh! That reminds me, Hhampuz is on this! Hhampuz, what did you do... Well, itskmegjjnh that could ha e happened anyways, having his injri3s grow into something serious if he wasn't careful and he wasn't.

I couldn't care any less if Aston Villa keeps a clean sheet which I doubt they could. They both lost there first game and, I would be expecting a tough game between them still, it could come with a result like we had in Nottingham Forest 2:1 Sheffield United.

No clean sheet man, LOL... Grin

Online gambling has been the next revolution towards money making and entertainment right from tbe comfort of your home, no prejudice, no fear of being judged, written off and not getting into nasty conflicts that could result in a gambling house. These cuts across all of those uglies to present to you what you seek.
This has been the bases that enabled the industry to thrive. The industry has seen several expansions since then with the introduction of bots to simulate what is obtainable in the physical with the exception of a physical presence and when the metaverse is fully developed, you could only imagine what it would be for the gambling industry. We would see it explode into some billion dollar business that would take be ignored by both government and investors with a mindset of making a fortune.

What I would have said is that, he gambles responsibly but from the OP, yiu say his already doing that which means, he ain't got no problem.  I think who has a problem or who needs advice is the parent.
Some patents needs to come to terms with the fact that, their kid is a young adult and has fly the net. Yeah, though till dependent, there comes a time in a child's life where they want certain things, want to experience things the adult way and there happens to be very little a parent can do about it. You can't hover over them for ever. If you did a good job in the upbringing of the child, it becomes a time where you trust in your upbringing to aid your child chose between vice and a morally guided life.

Let him play if he must and he alone could find reasons not to. You can only put options before him but, he's got yo chose freely and not because he's been pressured to.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 18, 2023, 10:35:49 PM
Nottingham forest need to win this game, if they do not win, their supporters really do have something to be worried about this season in the premier league. They easily lost the lead they had at the beginning of the second half to Sheffield that we never even expected to be able to score a goal in this game. Chris Wood who replaced Awoniyi has scored a goal for them in the last remaining minute of the game, and it looks like a winning goal that will be enough for them to take maximum points from this game.
They won, apparently. After there first game against Arsenal where they recorded there first lose for the season,  it was obvious a reason that they need to record a win and they did that with this game. It wasn't an easy one as we saw Sheffield United taking the game to them at some point, scored an eag second half goal to bring the game to a 1:1 draw but, the ingenious substitute by Steve Cooper in bringing in Chris Woods for Taiwo Awoniyi played right in to the game plan, he coming in and delivering the winning goa from a header, that wasn't too easy, a step back behind a player and headed it right in.
They've got there 3 points and let's see were they go from there.

Is regulations among the key factors that affects the price of Bitcoin
    Hell no!
Where did you come up with that idea.

Well, like the economist will tell you, price is being affected by demand and supply. When supply is more than demand, price drops and when the demand is higher than supply, you can expect price yo pump. Of recent, Tesla has been known to liquidate some of there bitcoin  hodlings and that been the reason behind some of the dump of recent and sadly, those who would take the bate will wish they didn't for gaming with a wealthy spaceX guy.

The most regulations could do is about bitcoin's acceptance by most but somehow, bitcoin continues to gain popularity with Citizens of the world despite the many negativity which is circulated about the innovation. So yeah, its not regulation and its more of a demand and supply thing.

but over time bitcoin finally proved that he was so valuable.
A "He" huh! I didn't know that bitcoin has got a gender to it. Am sure you meant well though.

Learning is all through life and one who has failed or refused to learn is one who has given up hope in self development. The best part to learning is that, its got rooms for improvement on what has already been, an out with the old and in with the new kind of situation.  So yeah, there are limitations and that be the point to improvement.

While you learn, you question and when you do, you improve on your doubts.
Bitcoin remains a continually developing field and one can only know as much as they are exposed to or puts in effort to understand.  Not having to believe doesn't matter at a point but in the long run, the price drives beliefs.  That shouldn't be, bitcoin  has gone beyond just the price, you've got to pick interest in the technology.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SpaceX sold $373M worth Bitcoin, reason of current dump on: August 17, 2023, 11:12:13 PM
Did they had an urgent need for cash?
    My thoughts for real and that be, after reading the part of the referred document in OP which states as follows;

    Quote
The news outlet reportedly viewed documents on the firm’s financials showing roughly $5.2 billion in total expenses for 2022, and $5.4 billion in 2021 and 2022 for acquiring property and equipment in addition to research and development costs.

That's just a snippet from the original and you could with that colluded that Musk group after spending about $10.6billiom in expenses, they've got go reciter some or get some profits from all there investing.
The issue with them having to sell now is that  they sold when the market isn't in its full bloom as we hope this to happen next year but, you never can tell, it could be a dump to bug back strategy, Musk is good for it so, the game is on those that would follow and sell instead of increasing there portfolio. No point being impatient or entertaining fear here, know Musk and know how tricks, it ain't new.

At the moment you don’t have a motive other than increasing activity for a just revamped account but, that’s not a justifier for what is being done (spam).

Also, this board feel like the best place to announce your awakening. It’s a bitcoin discussion board, reputation or even beginners & help of which, doesn’t seem best could have been okay than this.

Your last messages to the forum dates back to 2019/18/13 and single messages… that’s strange!
1177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Decisive with Your Coin on: August 16, 2023, 11:49:22 PM
One thing I learned to accept later on in cryptocurrency is that, you can never be way too smart on investments and no one is a know it all or a know it more.

Over the course of me taking altcoin investments in the genesis years of my crypto journey, I looked up to mentors for clarification on what coins to buy or not to buy because, I had no confidence in what I could do or evaluations I could come up with. I trusted so much and had to buy when asked but guess what, both myself and the acclaimed ended up loosing more often than we won and the wins were never noticeable.

It tells you, no one is best and what happens is just speculations out of what we merely think could be. So, you choose today how to invest your money, on what coin and what’s your goal for a project. That’s just be it and should it go south, you’ll be good to suck it up.
1178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we have a newbie Bitcoin wallet? on: August 16, 2023, 11:38:20 PM
Is there any wallet for newbies? If there's none, I think we should have a wallet for newbies. As a newbie who wants to learn and more about crypto, I've learnt that owning a wallet is very essential in managing one's crypto assets hence the necessity for anyone who wants to get involved in Bitcoin must have crypto wallet.

So I'm asking if there can be wallets for newbies that'll contain tutorial measures on how to use it and it'll also be user friendly to newbies thereby helping them to learn all the basics of Bitcoin wallet
I was wondering what could have warrant this and from your statement, it points to the fact that, you want a user friendly and tutorial incorporated wallet.
Well, that’s what you’ve got on the forum, you can’t expect wallets to come with some ads and tutorials in between although, I see that on mycelium but the thing is, you feel more in control having an uninterrupted or undisturbed wallet through ads and those floating icons than you would in a wallet that lays out everything right before you.

What you need for tutorial is what you’ve got in this forum and that aside, wallets are often user friendly with most circulating about,
Send, History and Receive. The later to it might come in the form of, setting up fees (sat/byte), bumping fees, choosing a network and so on.

It’s more easy to operate a wallet and one could easily gain in on that.
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 16, 2023, 09:45:27 PM
So, here's what I want to know: Is it a good idea if I use the money I've saved up from 3 years of my trust fund to buy Bitcoin?
I'll stress on it, it's important to know that this accumulated funds over the course of 3 years isn't the trust fund itself but, the much you've gathered through conscious awareness and adjustments to save up. That's  a good thing you've archived and for one that could put something out for that long a time, you could as well find luck with hodling bitcoin.

    Just a fee clarifications though;
Bitcoin/cryptocurrency ain't a thing but, a commodity on the Web and exists on blockchains.
It's also worthy of note that, cryptocurrency is bitcoin and bitcoin is cryptocurrency (they both go together).

Now, cryptocurrency isn't a get rich quick scheme although, that is possible but, it could as well reduce your account or portfolio to a point zero. Sink that in and be aware it isn't all rossy but, the sad stories are not happily shared.

Buying and hodling on a long term base might aid you in your journey but, be sure to hodl on a non custodial wallet and learn the pros and cons to maintaining privacy or security of your hodlings.
1180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies say no to Trading. on: August 16, 2023, 09:32:02 PM
So many newbies have the wrong orientation on bitcoin and they think that it is a get rich quick scheme, which makes them rush into investing and after investing, what comes to their mind next is trading. Trading should be the last thing on  your mind as a newbie here, what matters is after buying your bitcoin is to learn on how you can keep your bitcoin safe and how you can also add to your bitcoin by using the DCA method or how to take advantage of the market when bitcoin price dips.
Is not an out of place idea that most times, investors seeks means to multiple or make certain x in no time and trading is the way to archive that though not an easy thing to do and happens to be some means to get your bankroll exhausted easily too due to inexperience.

My concerns from tbe quote would be,
Do you think they should bug first before learning what it is?
Your ideas @OP centres on buy first > learn > DCA but I feel that shouldn't be. It ought to be learn > Buy > DCA.

I tell you, its much easier to make mistakes in buying or trying to invest before figuring out even the basics about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. This is what scammers thrive on, your ignorance and you find yourself investing in a scam package on a scam platform in your bid to take opportunities before learning. On other attempts, you might just have someone create you a wallet and be aware of your private key or seed phrase not well aware of the risk in having anyone know these privacy concern details.

    Learning comes first!
