Kyrie Irving is my favorite player in the NBA, and it saddens me that he's in this situation. Lebron and Kyrie were a very good duo, they played very well together. Kyrie definitely needs to wake up, if they can get back together with Lebron they can do great things again. But all of that started to turn downhill when he asked for a trade from the Cavaliers because in his words, he said "I don't want to be a Robin to the Batman (LeBron)" and that became a nightmare because after that, he had no success and even became a diva despite all of the challenges he faced. Yes, if Kyrie hadn't said those words, they would still have been a very good duo. But I think they still have a chance to play together. I hope they play. These centers nowadays are having a hard time showcasing their skills due to some limited minutes to play and when they are not effective enough on the court, they will gonna be sitting on the bench for the rest of the games, and in the end, their stats will not improve and will end up getting their rank to decrease as well because there are no more numbers to add. He needs to go to the team that doesn't have enough Center or they will just be lucky when the star center of that team gets injured and that's when they have the chance to change the people's view on them. I agree with you on this, such players can only show themselves when star pivots are injured and this possibility is usually very low. |

The Suns are absolutely dominating free agency already. With their trade exceptions it looks like they may be able to sign 2 more decent veterans before the season starts. Some names are being tossed around but I'd personally like to see them grab Dwight Howard (I honestly believe the guy was blackballed from the NBA for his locker room antics and not his skills). If they do manage to grab 2 big names and toss them on the bench as role players, I think they're going to be difficult to beat. The west is looking pretty stacked again this year. At the moment it looks like it's going to come down to the Suns and Nuggets to see who gets to play to win it all...
