Is this the correct end date?  End date and time: June 16, 2015 @ 7:00 PM EST

I know that you said bids in the last 15 minutes would extend it.  If extra time counted, wouldn't the end time be stated as 7:04?

I don't think anyone will give you your original price for it.

Can we agree to post the bids in this thread so that everything's out in the open?

If so, what are your accounts?

It depends on ...where on the rail you put the coin....A train wheel only makes contact with a small part of the rail... to reduce friction...   if you place the coin near the point of contact ...the coin will become so flat that it will become sharp like a blade..... further away from the point of contact and the gap will increase ....and not flatten the coin as much...... I think that point of contact is near the inside edge of a rail...

That explains why some of the design remained. I taped my coins to the center of the rail.

Regards,
Christopher

Can we buy special train-ridden coins? Smiley
1171  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me - Now incorporated in Costa Rica! on: June 15, 2015, 11:29:11 PM
Will you release the details of team members in your site now ? I believe, as you are leagally incorporated, there should not be much of a problem to this..
This is really great news. Would love to know about this ^ as well.
Seems this will get more investments if it protects the investors and gamblers from a potential dishonest casino operator. When do you guys plan to unveil the new game ?

Any lawyer worth his salt will probably tell you to have a third party agent incorporate a casino on your behalf. Incorporating does very little for the actual user, it does help the owner establish a banking connection/trust and cash out though.

I think incorporation actually reduces the protection of investors/gamblers as the liaibility is shifted from operator to company. That being said it's a wise decision to incorporate but I can't personally see any reason for it benefiting users. Then again, I'm not a lawyer.

This seems like some pretty insightful information based on the guess that you've done more than your fair share of homework on the matter.

Are you able to explain any further without us having to attempt to read between the lines?

Pretty sure you're not authorized to sell this yourself.

Also since you're not the original author, it's hard to trust that the code isn't compromised.
1174  Economy / Gambling / Re: sawdice the New Age of Dice - Let's play a game. on: June 13, 2015, 09:40:15 PM
I'm perturbed. You just funded that. Which means that prior to yesterday, you did not have a cold wallet at all. That also leads me to consider you probably haven't secured the cold wallet properly.

You also claimed to have 4-figures of BTC before, then 3-figures. That cold wallet barely comes to 100 BTC.

I will hold my promise though, and remove the negative trust.

DC, but what's wrong with holding money in fiat?  Having a big bankroll is having a big bankroll and if you're worried about how they secured their bitcoin wallet, perhaps they were actually safer when their money was in a traditional bank (FDIC in USA, or whatever equivalent).  Anyway, I agree that they should sign a message from the address.  Just suggesting that these guys seem to be step-by-step, doing the right thing, and this situation, as it stand now, is much better than things looked a few days ago when everyone assumed they were long gone.

Looking forward to hearing back from yoler that he got he withdrawal.

If this became a standard to hold money in fiat, many sites would start to claim offline funds allowing for higher maximum bets.

BalloonBit did this and then there were many complications because they could not afford to pay out or at least delayed it until they could.  This isn't good practice.  Sites should be able to access funds and pay right away.  Having a transparent cold wallet address provides proof of funds and solvency.
1175  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Michael Moriarty "BitLaunder" RIPPED ME OFF!!!! on: June 13, 2015, 05:55:14 PM
I own Asicscrypt.com and have 0 affilliatition with this scammer.  Please kindly rescind your accusation against my site.
I think that the problem is that onewiseguy most likely advertised a site affiliated with morality Bitcoin a long time ago (when morality may or may have owned the site). This shows the risks of advertising unknown websites.

I would assume that you purchased AsicScrypt.com from onewiseguy in the past (although this really does not matter) and this shows the huge risks associated with the trading of domains as if the domain was actually associated with morality then it would be less then worthless, as would be any other domain that you owned.

I believe that onewiseguy tried to take out a loan with collateral worth less then the amount of the loan he was taking out, however this was several months ago and I think he has since learned his lesson and I don't think he will try to scam in the future.

I also think it was a bad idea for onewiseguy to associate his RL identity with Bitcoin and his Bitcoin related ventures. The fact that his personal information was released and stayed released would have been entirely up to the OP who may or may not be a reasonable person.

As of now, I don't think onewiseguy is morality Bitcoin

My site has absolutely ZERO ties to the scammer.  This domain never was and never will be affiliated at all with him, so I don't know why my site is being tainted for no reason. You can even ask campy as I was helping him try to gather more information on this scumbag Moriarity many months ago.

I'm not quite understanding what you are inferring with domain risks.  By following the same logic, anyone who has ever promoted or advertised Mt. Gox has tainted any domain or business they are involved in.  This would mean that the Bitcoin foundation, Bitcoin magazine, Bitcointalk, Coindesk, and several other reputable sites must be considered a scam under the same reasoning.  It's ludicrous.
