If someone spams in the chat you can ignore him with the "/ignore username" command (without quotes, enter just this command and not anything else in the input at one time). On success you will see appropriate message.

Do you plan to release the app on Google Play once it's tested?
Unfortunately Google don't allow gambling apps on the official store.

Seems like dailybitcoins lowered their hourly payout from 0.00005 to 0.00001
We had to update booby prize value according to the BTC exchange rate growth.

Hmm, why did you put in a restriction in the minimum prize value?  Undecided Were the micro-raffles too much of a strain to the server, or is it something else?
Minimun prize value (currently 0.0001 BTC) applies only to the API, you can still create smaller raffles from the site after entering CAPTCHA. This limit is necessary because some bots polluted raffle list with micro-games causing Android app slowdown, as well as overloading our server.

Where can I report bug on website? I tried "Contact us" link on website, but it always gives me "Wrong security code" message.
I guess, I will post it here.
Just checked, it works fine. Seems CAPTCHA was too difficult, I made it more readable now.

I changed my setting to use mBTC instead of BTC. But when I'm creating new raffle, when I enter 1 into field "Single ticket price" it counts with it as 1000mBTC.
Fixed. Now you can specify amounts in the mBTC or µBTC when creating new raffle and they will be converted automatically!

It takes around 3 Confirmations to get the deposited funds to show up on the account, and not 1. Tongue
I use third-party services for payments notifications and have set 1 confirmation, however I also noticed sometimes it may take longer.

Ah, I see with my HTC EVO Shift 4G, when I pull the keyboard out, the screen rotates and the sign in button is hidden. You might want to fix that.
On my Galaxy S2, as well as an emulator and most other users' phones app starts in the portrait mode and buttons are visible even on low resolution. If you are familiar with the Android programming look into sources please.

It seemed like it made the app crash if I flipped it around a few times.
It is a known bug when app sometimes (randomly) crashes while network request in progress and you rotate the screen. May be you know how to fix it?

Some users don't like dark theme so we made possible to set light theme in the profile settings.

Changed behavior of the back button, now it will activate profile page instead of close (only when pressed on the raffle list or chat).

Peerbet website's theme have been updated, I hope you will like it Wink

P.S. If you see some broken layout please press F5.
1173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Peerbet Android app beta testers - free Bitcoins available on: February 23, 2013, 05:33:21 AM
hitting back button caused application to close.
It is normal behavior, back button on the raffle list or history must cause app to close.

Are you planning on developing an iPhone app or would you be interested?
I don't have iPhone and never programmed for it, but if you can help I would be happy.
BTW, I am planning to make website's mobile version which will be suitable for any platform.

This buggy value appears to be returned by your API (Captured this at runtime on Network.java, line 98):
Thank you for the work! Bug fixed.
1178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Peerbet Android app beta testers - free Bitcoins available on: February 21, 2013, 05:47:16 PM
New version available, added some features:
  • If you don't buy all tickets in the raffle, when you load active raffle list this raffle will be highlighted.
  • Now you can transfer funds to other users from the app.
  • When you click on some chat message, a popup menu will appear providing easy way to reply, transfer funds to this user or open raffle if appropriate link present in the message.

P.S. Don't write Bitcoin addresses in this thread, I send free credits directly on the Peerbet account.

I have no idea how the site works, what I am betting on, how to win, etc. Am I the only one just looking at this site and saying "Ummmm"?
If you ever played raffle you have to know how it works.

Brief description: you can create (or choose from the list) a raffle with given number of tickets and ticket price. All tickets have the same price and the same winning odds. For example, if there are 100 tickets in the raffle 0.01 BTC each, you buy 30 so you have 30% odds, must pay 0.3 BTC and if lucky get whole prize 1 BTC earning 0.7 BTC.

On the "Play now" page there is detailed description under the link "How to play?".
Quote
Step 1. Select a raffle to play from the list or create your own. Use the filter to find raffles with the desired prize value and winning odds. Progress bar shows the ratio of the tickets sold already to the total number of tickets in the raffle.
Step 2. Buy desired number of tickets. Your winning odds are equal to the number of your tickets divided by the total number of tickets in the raffle.
Step 3. When all tickets are sold out, we will pick the number of the winning ticket. If you hold the winning ticket, you will receive 100% of the prize value.
