1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: September 18, 2023, 02:42:47 AM
Some people will certainly think that it's useless to attain bitcoin knowledge if you don't have the plan to invest in it after. However, if you don't limit your thinking, you can influence other people through your high knowledge with bitcoin. As long as what you tell them are the facts about bitcoin, and they eventually believe on it, you could be the key to their life's success in the near future.

Even though it's not useless to learn anything, you still have to gain knowledge by practicing what you learned. You are not an expert if you have learned something from a book, for example, and did not try it in real life. There are many things we should practice after learning it. Let's talk about Bitcoin Knowledge. For example, you know many things about Bitcoin, and you will teach your friends if they ask if you ever bought Bitcoin and if you ever had Bitcoin. If you say no, they would barely take your suggestions. Actually, I am kinda unable to explain what I actually mean but I hope you got my point.
1163  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Richy.casino - The dumbest scam I've every seen on: September 18, 2023, 02:28:27 AM
Probably more a we're not able to do it scam than a preplanned exit scam.
Not going to name the deja-vu I'm having right now!

I guess most scams that happen on the internet are preplanned. I don't remember If I have seen a platform run for a long time, and they do exit scam. Oh wait, I saw Betnomi in recent times and chips.gg. But these things are very rare. If a platform has already built a reputation and has run for a couple of years, its management has to think twice before doing such things.

Most of the new platforms do not have management and are run by a single person, and they plan to scam as soon as they reach their target. Bad luck for Richy that they were not able to gain much from Bitcointalk  Wink
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 18, 2023, 02:21:37 AM
India vs Sri Lanka match is really funny match. I really can't believe that an ODI match can be like this. Where Sri Lanka have played very well in previous matches so far, how Sri Lanka lost all wickets for just 50 runs after playing more than 15 overs against India. And India beat Sri Lanka by scoring 51 runs in just 6 overs. Now it seems that after losing the last match against Bangladesh, India is preparing very hard for the next match. The result of which was seen today he he he
Wow what's going on. I can't believe that Sri Lanka played so badly at their home ground. I was shocked when I saw the score board. I was busy all day today with my personal work so I didn't have time to enjoy this match.
But I expected something better from Sri Lanka. I don't understand what is the problem inside them today, their batsmen could not survive against the Indians.

Or better to say they could not survive against Siraj! I did not watch a single ball of the game because I lost all interest in the Asia Cup and did not place a bet in this match. Moreover, I was on a family tour and almost forgot about the final game. I noticed the score after Magrib Salah when Trickbd telegram posted the update with "Nagin Dance Title" and saw Sri Lanka's 50 and the innings break on the Cricbuzz website. I thought maybe it was due to rain. Then I looked closely with some interest and saw Siraj had destroyed them. Sri Lankan captains said Bangladesh defeated India because their prominent players weren't playing. I guess he was trying to release the pressure!

1165  Economy / Economics / Re: No choice but to use the unavoidable middle man, the exchange companies. on: September 18, 2023, 02:08:03 AM
Indeed, you cannot deny the middleman's importance when dealing with an anonymous person on the internet. Reputation is a key factor there. If you can build a solid online reputation, you will likely get the payment or product first. This applies only to public forums like BitcoinTalk and hack forums. Still, this forum has middleman services to eliminate the possibility of scams.

The fact is, forum middlemen do not ask for your private information like your Real name, Identity or your electricity bills. But when you deal with some specific platforms like Binance and other centralized platforms, you compromise your private information.
I agree with you. Moreover, though, it is best to remember that there are different system that different middlemen use. I remember when I hired a middleman for a quick transaction and they never asked me to provide any personal information, everything was strictly about the transaction and anonymity that both the seller and I wants to maintain. On the other hand, I have heard some stories wherein their middleman asked for some private information that made me reluctant to proceed with the transaction but it turns out it was not a scam and the middleman was only following a system they've been practicing for long.

Actually, it's your choice to choose a middleman. If you know a middleman will ask for private information, I suggest everyone avoid such a service. Centralized exchanges, for example. You already know that if you want to do any transaction through their platform, you must verify your account with your personal information, which you may not want to share. You can ignore them and look for an alternative. The alternatives are narrow, but there are always some alternatives. If you see there are no alternatives, here is the business opportunity as well. You can create an alternative for people who like to remain anonymous.

1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 17, 2023, 01:55:23 AM
Somewhat agree. But the question is how convincing the win was. Who was the performer? Did they expect 44 runs from Nasum Ahmed? Did they expect 14 runs from a debutant pace bowler? Did they expect 29 runs from Seikh Mahadi? Of course not. The last game they won against India was pure luck. I don't want to give credit to those so-called top orders.

Liton has recovered from injury, and he is out of form at this moment. The credit goes to the Indian big fishes as well, who did not play the match against Bangladesh. This was the Indian Bench team against Bangladesh.
Indian top order batsmen were all fine except Virat Kohli, but Bangladesh's overall performance in that day's match was good. Especially in the matches where Bangladesh's top order batsmen can perform well, the chances of Bangladesh winning are high.
Another thing is that India's performance was not bad that day, Bangladesh came at the last minute and won by only 6 runs. If any of India's batsmen had been able to give a proper lead on the wicket, Bangladesh would not have won.
A win is a win though. I am hoping that Bangladesh will play better cricket in the coming days.

A win is indeed a win. If you ask me to be honest, I was not satisfied with the performance of the batters. I am disgusted with some batters like Shamim Hossain Patwary. As Bangladeshi, we expect Bangladesh to play better cricket and win some games. It's not like we will win all the matches. I expect to play competitive cricket against all teams, and I am okay with that.

Anyways, BCB announced the team for the ODI series against New Zealand. Many new faces and some experienced players got the chance to prove themselves. All eyes will be on Mahmudullah Riyad as this series performance will be the key factor for selectors to re-arrange the World Cup team.

Correct, on this forum the middleman only cares about being a middleman and as such their existence is not only tolerated but encouraged if you are making a transaction with an user you have never dealt before, however the middlemen that we find on the fiat system wants to know every single thing they can about you, and not only this robs you from your privacy, it also puts you at risk as those middlemen keep that information forever and they only need to be hacked once in order for your information to end up on the black markets.

Not only do they keep the data of the users. They sell them on the dark net at a cheap price. I have translated a thread of GazetaBitcoin, which is 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for . I encourage everyone to read the original version, which was written by GazetaBitcoin. In this article, GazetaBitcoin provided the information and the sources as well that those centralized exchanges are involved in selling customers' private information. I would love to quote the part from that topic:

Second of all, as I was saying above, people lose their personal information by going willingly through a very dangerous process, named KYC. The exchanges don't care about their clients nor about their personal information. They only want to earn more money. They can be hacked by hackers which, besides stealing money, also steal the users' personal information, this being a very precious resource, which can be turned into even more money, especially when it is sold on Dark Net. A CNBC article describes how the hackers sell personal information for 1$ a piece (this information consisting, among others, in physical addresses of the users, their credit / debit cards, copies of their IDs etc.): Hackers are selling your data on the ‘dark web’... for only $1. A notorious similar case from the forum is the case of the Romanian bekli23, which, while pretending he is decrypting old BTC wallets, he was also asking users to send him photos with them while holding their IDs and other bills in hand. Obviously, he was not decrypting any wallet. But he was trying to collect personal information, most likely, for selling it on Dark Net, for the ridiculous price of 1$ per piece!

In some cases, the exchanges are the ones selling customers' personal information! And I'm not talking about small, shady exchanges, but about the big ones. Coinbase is one of the biggest exchanges and yet it was caught selling clients' personal data! A 2019 article, Coinbase Admits Its Former Data Provider Sold Client Data, describes how Christine Sandler, one of the exchange's executives, admitted the company sold the users' personal information. Having this example, do you think that other exchanges don't do the same thing? Just they weren't caught yet?

I used a centralized exchange and was KYC'ed there without knowing these risks. This article explains why you should avoid centralized exchanges and banks. I understand that we have very limited options out there. But if you care about your privacy, you have to be careful.
1169  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 17, 2023, 01:27:59 AM
First of all, I don't think you have to wager your winnings from the Coins wheel feature. If it's enough to reach the minimum withdrawal threshold, you should be able to withdraw the funds. I am not 100% sure about it though. Let me know if I am wrong.

Yes. You don't need to wager our winning from Coins Wheel but to be able to claim the rewards from Coins Wheel you need to be Rank 3
I don't think so. I am not level three yet, but I have claimed the Coins Wheel bonus a couple of times. 1.5 TRX two or three times. A Jet once and 11 or a similar amount of Dogecoin once. So this is not the correct statement, buddy. I guess anyone can spin the wheel once the timer is ready.

Do you think it is worth it?
Yeah based on your reply, I think it's not. I will take your advice. The thing is, that locked JET makes me tempted to place auto bets on originals like betting with a 95% chance of winning just to unlock these JETs. But as you said doing this will likely result in me losing my balance.

GL

Even if you place bets on a 95% win chance, you will lose around 5% for every 100 bets. That's on average. It can vary, but houses always win in the long run. Always play your natural games, and you will realize you have unlocked a lot of Jet at some point. There are similar platforms like coins.game, and they have the same feature where users have thousands of locked stablecoins.

Yes, with this win, Bangladesh cannot move ahead in the tournament but still, I would call it a good win for Bangladesh.

Think in a way that the Bangladesh team returning to home and people will talk about their poor performance and not winning a single match in the Super 4. Now at least they have something to defend that they had won against India but again not all teams can qualify for the finals.

Winning against a good team is always better than not winning at all in the entire tournament.

Somewhat agree. But the question is how convincing the win was. Who was the performer? Did they expect 44 runs from Nasum Ahmed? Did they expect 14 runs from a debutant pace bowler? 1171  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Richy.casino - The dumbest scam I've every seen on: September 17, 2023, 01:07:08 AM
If you look at their ANN thread, it's full of complaints, and I do not see any activity from their representative to fix those issues. The casino seems so shady. I have tried to explore their platform and saw they have contests, and the leaderboard is full of bots. The prize pool is huge, so gamblers may try to win their contest. Unfortunately, they won't be able to win anything.

Even though I suggest not to try new casinos, someone has to try to figure out if it's a scam or legit. So, always make a tiny deposit to check those new platforms.

You got the answer already from another member. They did not ask if you want it. They asked what is the color of your withdrawal status.

1172  Economy / Gambling / Re: Richy.casino - iGaming & Sports Betting. 💰up to $20k deposit bonus, free spins on: September 17, 2023, 12:56:08 AM
And on top of that they want to launch a signature campaign. As noorman0 says:
Use the campaign money to hire more skilled developers, otherwise you will get more users with the same complaints.

Unfortunately, they have run their signature campaign like 1xbit. Even if some wannabe campaign manager agrees to run their signature campaign, I don't think forum users will promote such a casino,o which is new in this forum and already has an open scam accusation. Many negative things have been raised already, and I don't see any activity from them.

Do they care about those allegations? Of course not. Then, what is the benefit of running a signature campaign? After all, Bitcointalk is not for colossal casino traffic. Most casinos use it to build a solid reputation. There is no reason to run any campaign if they do not fix issues.
1173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 16, 2023, 01:57:12 AM
I guess I have posted this somewhere else. Recently, I found a free technical indicator, and I thought it was a scam because they usually ask for a premium subscription, which is why I always think those are scams. I followed their signals and thought those signals would be 100% correct, which was later proved wrong. I don't blame them since they also say they do not guarantee all trade wins.

Now answer to your thread title: No. Those are not useless. It can increase your winning possibility, but nothing is guaranteed. You have to do the money management, and you have to use your strategy when lost trades come.
1174  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 16, 2023, 01:39:16 AM
I suppose I won't be playing at your casino because of the issue I had last time with the withdrawal. However, I love the Coins Wheel feature; I won $30 for free. Let's say it's not entirely free because you need to be at least Rank 3 to claim it.

I made 4 deposits  with a total of 150$ and wagered about 1,500$ that made me Rank 3 and haven't made a withdrawal. Currently I have 247 JET locked on my account. For those who have a knowledge JET can you give me a suggestion or things to do be able to unlock it with low risk getting lose by chasing it to unlock?

First of all, I don't think you have to wager your winnings from the Coins wheel feature. If it's enough to reach the minimum withdrawal threshold, you should be able to withdraw the funds. I am not 100% sure about it though. Let me know if I am wrong.

2nd, I suggest not to chase it to unlock. The game has a house edge, and you will lose no matter what strategy you use to wager your cryptocurrencies. You can see the calculation for unlocking the JET on the bonus page. It is not worth wagering a hundred thousand dollars to unlock a few bucks! I guess you got my point. If you chase for it, you are likely to lose your deposit. Gamble normally, and you will be able to unlock them day by day. I have wagered $746 and unlocked $0.37. Do you think it is worth it?

We are in front of the screen to see another shameless defeat against India and Bangladesh unlikely to bat the whole fifty overs. At least the stats says that Bangladesh were unable to play fifty overs in the last few matches.
Bro how you are feeling now?
I think Bangladesh team saw ours posts that's why  I they may take revenge to us today. Bro I was go for sleep after seeing the start after woke up I see Bangladesh team made 265run. Anyway credit goes to number one all rounder shakib al hassan and Towhid Hridoy and Nasum Ahmed for their excellent batting, and also all the bowler's.
I think today many of us lose on the bets  Smiley? Anyway my feelings was good that Bangladesh team won the match and returning to home

That was boomer! I did not see the result until I woke up at 3 AM. I was too sleepy at 5 p.m., and I missed the next two salah. I had no intention to watch the match right after seeing that they lost three early wickets. Still, this is not a good win. Not much credit to the top-order batters. The last three lower-order batters scored 87 runs out of 265 runs.

Nasum and Mahdi did far more batter than a few top-order batters. Credit goes to them. Bangladesh won because India gave a chance to their bench players. Yet it's a win for Bangladesh. But nothing was affected by this win.
1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: September 16, 2023, 12:57:03 AM
I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert. I desire a new beginning and am hoping that my prior participation in bounties was not improper. In order to accomplish this aim of mine, I will need all of your help and guidance.

Please From where do I begin?

I always thought people do bounty because they do not understand English well or do not have time to read. Still, they waste their time in the bounty section. If someone understands English and can read what is written in the forum posts, there is no reason to ignore hundreds of valuable topics. You don't have to be a Bitcoin expert to start making money out of it.

I suggest beginners spend the time reading only and writing once they have a question. People start writing from the beginning without understanding anything and without reading anything. The more you read, the more you will learn about Bitcoin, other crypto and the forum. No, it's not too late. It's the beginning. Good luck!
1177  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 16, 2023, 12:49:04 AM
I received it and withdrew it as well. I didn't know why my withdrawal was canceled on the first attempt. But then I realized there was a note. I had to wager more to make a withdrawal request. After that, I kept getting errors saying to contact support. They took a few seconds to fix it this time, and I could withdraw the funds.

The major thing in casino is withdrawal and if any casino has no problem in the withdrawal process then I will take that casino as the best casino in the forum and behind. Casinos face scam accusations and different allegations in the forum is because of their withdrawal issue. Like the comment I made before coming to this one was a withdrawal problem. And in most time it is the KYC that is causing the whole withdrawal issue. There are some withdrawal that need more wager/stake to withdraw easily. This days customers support is not knowledgeable to handle some critical matters. Well we thank God that you have finally withdraw the funds.

Haha, Agbe, God does not like gambling. Jokes aside, yes, it's true. The person in charge of the finance department should always be online to handle such cases. The support agents cannot access the finance department and cannot solve the issues immediately, so they need help from the finance department. However, the support has to understand the case as well.

In the case of Xlays, his withdrawal was getting canceled, and support said he wrote the wrong payment details while everything was correct, according to Xlays. The support misunderstood the case, so Xlays continued to gamble and lose the fund.

Bangladesh is already out of the Asia Cup, and this is their last match. According to Cricbuzz, Bumrah, Siraj, and Pandya are likely to be rested, while Bangladesh would try to win the last match as they did not win any match in the super four. The Bangladeshi batting line was very poor in the last couple of matches, and the opener, Naim Sheikh, was given all the chances.

Wicket-keeper batter Anamul Haque Bijoy is still out of the probable XI, while Mushfiqur Rahim will not play the last match. This clearly shows how politics works in Bangladesh cricket team. Bad luck for Bijoy!
Anamul Haque bijoy got chance , so it's a good opportunity for him to perform but till now he waste 7 balls.
Any way what ever gonno happen my trust has gone from this current Bangladesh team . And already they lost two wickets

He scored a boundary in the 9th ball, and now he is out. He was trying to be patient but the pressure was building on him. He tried to release the pressure which made him play some shots and the opportunity was successfully wasted by Bijoy! Three wicket lose scoring 28 runs and under pressure now. Nothing new for Bangladesh.

We are in front of the screen to see another shameless defeat against India and Bangladesh unlikely to bat the whole fifty overs. At least the stats says that Bangladesh were unable to play fifty overs in the last few matches.
