1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Bounty hunters on: January 09, 2019, 03:05:21 PM
I hope Bitcointalk will start caring about its people ,there should be new moderators that can fish out bad projects on here to avoid wasting time of bounty hunters ,and about KYC ive come to think of it as many bounty hunters don't like KYC I'm sure if Bitcointalk is the one asking for KYC so as to limit frauds and multiple accounts bounty hunters won't complain, we will follow the rules ,but first 'SAFE US FROM BAD SCAMMY PROJECTS' ,no matter how wise we investigate a project they end up been scam ,scammers are getting wiser as well.looook at desico for example Shocked Can anyone tell me if he/she knew Desico is a scam from day one? I guess not
Why someone have to care about your money making,as already forum rules says scams are not moderated so you need to find the good and bad projects, you need to decide you are willing to do KYC or not before joining on the bounties.
1162  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: January 09, 2019, 01:59:33 PM
1.Bitcoin,because it is first ever created crypto and standing in the long run after huge barriers.
2.Ethereum,which is the main coin needed for many tokens to work in their blockchain.
3.Monero because of its anonymity.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: January 09, 2019, 06:27:30 AM
I have thought of delayed payments as a way to get the funds in the casino. So for example, they keep the fund in cold storage, whether it's a hardware wallet or something as long as it's secure. Second, they withdraw it there to having a revolving fund for withdrawals. Maybe they have to replenish it or something.

if you haven't been paid out in a gambling casino, it's best to share your experience and open a scam accusation with the site.
Before doing a scam acquisition. I think it's good if you make contact support with their CS. I've also experienced such conditions. where the withdrawal I did. did not get tx but the balance has gone. it took several days to complete it. sometimes technical errors do occur in the gambling site system I think. but I never playing in that site again
If you are facing this error for first time means then there is no issue with waiting for some days, for me upto 48 hours will be acceptable but even after than there is no sign of response from the support then creating a thread on scam accusation section may help them quicker.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETF and Bakkt will have effect, but BTC halving is the main deal. on: January 08, 2019, 09:12:54 AM
I have seen several posts about how ETF and Bakkt could make the crypto market bullish again. As much as I really want the ETF and Bakkt, I really don't believe they will moon cryptocurrency. They will definitely cause the market to be bullish but they won't make cryptos to moon to a new all time high.
What I believe will moon cryptocurrency is the next coming Bitcoin halving.
Looking at the past history and chart of the crypto market, there have only been two halving in history (2012 and 2016) and both resulted in a powerful bullish trend which took coins to a new all time high. The next Bitcoin halving is scheduled for mid 2020, and it will have a powerful bullish trend on the crypto market.
They will just act as the catalyst,if the prices goes bullish means new money will start to flow into the market and it also will causes the prices of cryptos to increase gradually.

New all time high may attained if the adoption reaches new high.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: January 08, 2019, 05:21:42 AM
When someone gambles regularlty and they are not going to withdraw their money too often then their preference will be better site with good security. They won't care about instand withdrawals but no legit site will delay our winning amount.
Wrong, occassionally there are some legit casino's that delay withdrawals and if you'll just stay and get into ANN threads of casino's you will see that there were some special cases that their withdrawals were delayed.

Why? its either the gambler was acting shady with his account and was caught abusing some features of the casino like with bonuses. But its under investigation so they have to delay and pending the withdrawal.
I didn't say abut exceptional cases, just normally some casinos will make you wait for your winning amount to be credited,so you will use that casino too if you met this multiple times?
1166  Other / Meta / Re: Where are the merit sources? on: January 07, 2019, 10:45:34 PM
Looks like number of merit sources were increased but, number of sMerits generated per cycle decreased from 23045 to 20735.

Anyway feels like nothing to discuss here anymore, since it was already one year old thread.

Locking.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: January 07, 2019, 10:29:17 PM
Instant withdrawal websites can also turn into a scam, if all of a sudden withdrawals are not processed or if they have "technical problems" ....
Agree. Actually, there is no guarantee for gamblers that casino sites will never be scam.

those who never leave balance in the account would definitely prefer instant over "safety" in some way.
Well. I am one of them, I have never saved money in an account and I always withdraw the money at the end of the game. That's why I prefer casino sites that have fast or instant withdrawal.
When someone gambles regularlty and they are not going to withdraw their money too often then their preference will be better site with good security. They won't care about instand withdrawals but no legit site will delay our winning amount.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 07, 2019, 01:20:47 PM
This is the reason many times entering to married life or falling in love kind of things helping gamblers to quit easily.
This can get backfired too,lot of family were in streets because of their father or husband went into gambling and addicted to it seriously so when they want to quit they have to do,they need to bring th mental power to make it happening.
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: January 06, 2019, 04:15:26 AM
Recently saw in a group conversation one high roller lost at least USD 8,000 in one bet and doesn't even mind at all.

The only way to beat the house is to win once if you're a newcomer and never return, but how many have the will to do so?  Grin
You can't people in many bets but it can be possible with single huge bett to be won but still risky move just to win the house.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ethereum Gained 80% in 30-Days & Outmatched Ripple on: January 04, 2019, 04:43:44 PM
Ethereum’s (ETH) price has increased from $83 to $150, which is around 80% against the USD over the past month, in a significant corrective recovery.

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, after a 7% rise in its price, ETH outstripped Ripple (XRP) to repossess its position as the second most valuable digital currency on the world market.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/how-ethereum-gained-80-in-30-days-outmatched-ripple/

Ethereum is going to be the one who will bring bull run this time?

Its good that ethereum have some movement at first and it may increase the investors and will bring new money into the market which causes the other coins also to increase, just forget about the ripple its just a puppet coin.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your favourite gambling site and story behind it on: January 04, 2019, 08:52:04 AM
Well I tried many gambling sites before but its not that much since I don’t want to gamble my money in long term so I decided to stop that activities. But right now, I’m currently in Bustadice which I can say my favorite gambling site now though I don’t bet much but I tried to play with it and I can say that its a good betting site which you can easily play and earn some money. I don’t have a major wins on bustadice but its good to use that site and I will continue to bet even at a small amount of money.
It's enjoying, try to increase your bets and your target multiplier as well but dice only what you afford to lose.  Smiley
I tried to play on that site too and its easy to understand. I love betting even at a small amount and never tried to increase my bet, since I can't afford to lose big money. I'm currently studying the 777 site, and its quiet not easy I think since a lot of things that you can see on the site. Overall I don't have any favorite gambling site because I don't play much at all.
Everyone have their favourite gmbling site for some reason,777coin site is also have simple interface and everyone can understand so just spend few more minutes then you will know about this site well.
1172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: January 03, 2019, 03:26:47 PM
You can make huge profits in a day, when compared to long term holders but the problem is you also can make huge losses in a days that is why we call day trading as most risky thing to do,experience may help people in somewhat but still t is like gambling.
- Making huge profits is really a very obvious advantage when we look at day traders, as long as the market is always volatile, they will always be able to earn money while those who choose to hold for a long time can only wait and look at traders making money. But exactly as you say, the risk is extremely large when this market can change very unusually in a short time, even for professional day traders, they have a lot of experience but they are still hurt by this market, so before we become a day trader, we should look at the risks we can get, instead of the advantages, it will help us make a reasonable decision.
I just mentioned the advantages, but there are lot of disadvantages too.If OP asked them in first place then I am ready to explain them in detailed.

More profits always associated with more risk so we need to decide what kind of approach we have to do.

1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: January 03, 2019, 09:43:31 AM
Maybe it is not a wrong idea to introduce gambling to other people, but we don't know if that person can have control of the emotion when he is playing many games. And if that person spends all of his money, we could be the person who he can blame because we introduce gambling to him. We need to be very careful when introducing gambling to someone because we don't want to see that man will become addicted to gambling besides that, we don't want him to lose much money too.
We need to know their habits and characters before introducing them into gambling, which is like introducing someone to a business if they have skills to control their mind then they can make profits from business or else they will go bank rupt which can applies to gambling as well.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Ripple on: January 02, 2019, 09:07:50 PM
The future of Ripple seems to me to be one of the best among the other altcoins. Many have concluded different partnerships with different banks from different countries of the world. Even with such a brutal market crash, Ripple keeps afloat.
Partnership with banks are making them more stronger than other coins? What happened to decentralization. Crypto currencies were made to be decentralized. Do you really think an altcoin joining the bank will still remain decentralized? If you are okay with this, then whats wrong with fiat and their cashless transaction system?
These kind of people usinf crypto currencies for money making not for its decentralized technology so they are ot going to care about who are behind their cryptos but they are not sure that their coin might loss its prices at any time.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: January 02, 2019, 08:37:25 PM
Cryptocurrencies are no longer a scheme for your rapid enrichment.
To make a profit from cryptocurrency you need to put a lot more time and effort than before.
A very important role is now played by your knowledge in this area as well as the ability to predict the ups and downs in the volatile cryptocurrency market.
Nothing in this world,is going to make you rich very rapid. You need to have much efforts on what you are doing to get richer but as you told it will take time and lot of patience.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: January 02, 2019, 08:01:48 PM
Gambling can have good and bad effects on ones life. If anyone play and win in gambling you can't even imagine how happy he would be of getting quick money.

On the Other hand if one lose in gambling, and the amount is good, then one can be sad or even depressed.
To the losing part, the bigger effect is someone can do something ridiculous such as borrowing money to the bank just to gamble again.

And even worse is selling their valuable goods that has been accumulated after working hard with their careers such as house, cars, etc.
This is done by many people who want to win their lost amount by betting again just like taking revenge, this is the biggest success of gambling too, when people undersand this means no more gambling for the purpose of finance motivated.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 02, 2019, 03:24:16 PM
Not many people can be able to win in gambling but we can see some people getting millions of dollars from single bets.So if you think gambling is a way of making money then you need to change your mind and just play simply to test your luck,if you win then its your day. Cheesy
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much did you make from gambling in 2018! on: January 01, 2019, 05:26:00 PM
I don't remember how much I made from the gambling but I lost more that I won so in the long run the chances of making money from gambling is highly not possible.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: January 01, 2019, 03:00:04 PM
There are people who despite losing their money are still enjoying gambling, in that case, I see a benefit.
The only benefit I see there is enjoyment, notbing else. Do you think it would be enough for you to compensate all of the losses you've made? Maybe a yes, maybe a no; but but if it's not then better for you to stop because you can't already afford to lose further. Besides, if you just really wanna have fun then there are other ways to feel it without spending to much. Be practical Smiley.
As I already said, eveyone will look for their zone to enjoy so for them spending money will make them more happy than anything else.
