1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 29, 2023, 11:47:57 PM
Only those who invest without proper knowledge could consider this as a gambling but those who study and analyze it call it as trading.
There is a huge difference between gambler and trader when it comes to crypto investment, trader's have skills and invest thorough chart reading while gamblers are the one's who invest through news or FOMO.
Truly that is why a lot of people who doesn't know much about Bitcoin continue to regard it as another form of gambling, it's very unfortunate that some newbies in crypto in their bid to earn quick money invested their hard earn money in crypto when the price had peaked based on FOMO and on verge of a massive reverse or correction consequently resulted to losing part of their investment thus these are the category of people that always regard crypto as gambling, however skilled investors and traders always trade or invest at the appropriate time when the price is low by utilizing DCA thereafter hodl there coins till when the market is bullish.

Some maybe correlate this or just use the gambling word as figure of speech but they actually don't mean that they are just the same. Maybe on the chance to lose money but if they figure out then see how technical it is maybe they can separate the thoughts and can tell its really different. We can't argue to those people since if they believe gambling and trading is the same then this is fine as long as they didn't create any trouble to traders and gamblers then maybe we should respect their outlook regarding on this discussion.
1162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 29, 2023, 10:00:07 PM
This happen all the time, many are talking about gambling here in general instead of focusing with Roobet itself.
Let's talk more about the promotions, updates and bonuses with Roobet because that's also my interest on visiting this thread.
Does anyone here have some information about future updates like introducing a new game or technology with Roobet?
Btw, art contest will end in less than two weeks so make sure to have your entry ready.
Probably because there’s no moderator for this thread, I mean OP already left this thread open since then but of course it is still not ok to discuss off topic here especially if its not about Roobet.
Many are still focus with their art work since its limited time only to prepare and have a creative one, I’m still working with my art hoping that I can catch up with the deadline of submission.

They just became inactive in this thread but I believe they are active monitoring on what's happening in this thread and what are the suggestion they can get from the community. We can see them implement some of the suggestion discussed by people so I guess we can count on them whenever there's new things that people suggest them to have or implement. Anyways good luck and do more effort to get some to earn a reward on their art contest.
1163  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's yours feelings about Ku-coin recent moves? on: June 29, 2023, 12:51:52 PM
If you don't trust the new implementation happen on kucoin then better stop to use that exchange since expect that many of them will require since they want to control the illegal activities on their platform and government might ask this to happen.

But will follow what they require since so far I only trust two exchange and kucoin is my second option so to continue using their service I might follow what they tell us to do. Since its risky to go on unreliable exchange since we know that they can fake volumes and scam us.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2023, 11:11:01 AM
Now that CP3 is on the Warriors, I think so too that he will be in the starting line-up but that won't be long as they cannot afford to lose CP3 via injury and will just let him rest in-between or where the Warriors needed him the most.
He'll surely be in the starting line up, the Warriors won't spend millions on him on this trade if he won't be on the starting five. We'll get to see those days if it happens as he's an injury prone player.

But at least on this matter, GSW got someone who would take care of the job and will have the assist for open shots for Klay and Steph.

He's the one to take care of it.

I thought they were getting him as a backup so I’m surprised that they’re planning to have him alongside Steph and Klay. That’s a pretty small and not very athletic 3 players. Not to mention Green is undersized and aging. I’m not sure what kind of basketball they’ll be playing, but they won’t be getting very many rebounds while doing it.

Maybe they made that announcement to confuse other teams on what is their plan to their current roster. Since it can ruin their plan if they show what will be the role of their new acquired player. We might see Paul playing at bench since this is the best position where he can be placed to make sure their team still have fire power even if their main guys like Steph setting on bench. But lets watch what will happen since current roster of Warriors is pretty interesting next season.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogefuck blockchain - Yes or No on: June 28, 2023, 11:30:47 PM
Another one.  Grin

Developers are too hardworking that they'll make everything out of the name of these meme coins or close to the name of bitcoin. Come on folks, you can't even name your projects well.

But this seems to be an obvious project that gives warning to the community that you should never invest to projects like this.

Maybe not bitcoin but rather the dogecoin itself. This kind of name copying to another successful coin is rampant and most use as scam so I guess we cannot see good  future about that since most of the time this type of alts is another scam in the making. Funny to see the approach of people in this thread since they really don't like what they see and automatically denied the introduction especially OP didn't presented it very well.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 10:21:46 PM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

A very big adjustment here, in my opinion,

with how the Nuggets use that advantage against the Heat during the finals, we might see them duplicating
the same system, though I agree that CP3 will be a big help in terms of giving Curry and Thompson a good
breathing in, finding their spot to take much clear and open shots. He can provide space as he can also shoot
with a good percentage.

He won't be called as the Point-God if he himself cannot do the shots whenever the players that he is facilitating doesn't have any window but his shooting expertise comes 2nd as he is more useful in setting up the table for the team and for the Splash Brothers to do their thing with less hassle. And now that he's becoming more and more prone to injury, just like what others are saying, I guess the Warriors will just use him during the most important minutes of the game.

They need point guard that can set some plays to them while Curry is out of the game so I can still say that Paul's addition in the roster still fine in Warriors. They still have money to use to add a big man on their team so I guess they really plan this that's why they trade Poole just to reduce their cap space and get the players they want to add in their rotation plus to retain Green in the roster.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogefuck blockchain - Yes or No on: June 28, 2023, 11:45:34 AM
I guess.

The token is gonna be dead before all of these are released, we are already familiar with meme tokens. 1-2 month gain, and then the rest are gonna to be down until we find the end.

The feature and other thing not gonna to be release, no for meme token.

To lucky if they even reach for 1-2 months time span because most of those meme and other shit tokens didn't take long than that since they easily died up especially when they didn't succeed to get listed on decent exchange. We already see this scene so much better for new traders to avoid this project because this is just another obvious scam in the making. But I doubt they can accumulate investor because most of the people especially those veterans are smart enough to know which is fast scam and which is not.

The screenshot is from telegram I assume and it has lot of scammers always in rush to push phising links to different groups so some people click on them and also create fake websites under the name of famous casinos as in this case to find new victims
Telegram is a paradise for scammers and it is not a safe chat platform to use if you use Telegram on a device that stores your wallets and cryptocurrency.

Avoiding Common Crypto Scams on Telegram

Telegram is safe the only thing make that place not safe is those people taking advantage on the platform. They can make their evil deeds happen there since they can create multiple accounts easily which they can used for scamming.

Also never engage with any shady activities or even click the links sent by random user so that we will not touch a phising site or more worst we might compromise by other hacking methods they do.
1169  Economy / Services / Re: Someone Paid Me $2,500 in April And Forgot... on: June 27, 2023, 03:08:52 PM
Someone that is not a member of this forum saw my service and hired me to write some articles since April. I charged him $4000 and asked for $3000 advance. He paid the advance of $2,500, but has since vanished. I'm putting up this post in case he forgot he gave someone $2,500. If you know someone that paid someone for a job and forgot the person, please let them know I'm the one. As in, can't imagine someone throwing away their money just like that.
I also hope he sees this post and remembers.

Doing this will just make you a target of impersonator claiming for this money. You can use the wallet address that he use to send the funds on searching the owner because he might posted that address on social media or here in the forum.

Don't disclosed the wallet address and always ask for signed message for the user that will claim the money.

He can always verify the real sender by asking to provide the txid and the wallet address use for that transaction by private message. And if those people cannot provide any proof then we conclude that they are just trolling and trying their luck to fool OP then maybe to get the amount mentioned by him.

@OP since the client is missing and if you don't like to use that money maybe set aside that funds and wait for him to contact you again. If he's still not coming back after few months then maybe that's the best time that you can use the money. You already made an effort to reach him out but nothing happen so take an action with the funds since maybe he's not coming back for that.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Crypto Games) A revolution in the gaming industry or a passing trend? on: June 27, 2023, 01:05:45 PM
Today I would like to understand and find out your opinion about the real value and potential of crypto games. I am interested to know how much they can change the gaming industry, what challenges and problems are associated with them? Grin

Do you mean NFT games? It can revolutionize the gaming industry if its been use or introduce very well. But sadly this has been abuse by many scammers and NFT games slowly die because the demand slowly declining for the past couple of months. So far at this days I didn't see any NFT games succeed because most of the project newly launch if not failed they easily turn scam. So for now the main problem about this is the rampant scamming happening and if this activities didn't stop, maybe investors and other reputable game developers will not associate to any of these NFT activities.
1171  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best non Kyc exchange on: June 27, 2023, 12:03:43 PM
I was reading the thread a few days back where the topic was particularly discussing about the Sale of the KYC-appro accounts on sale at Balck markets and people were buying them I am not sure about the intentions but this is what KYC imposers do with your personal information. I think avoiding KYC should be the first lesson to be learned in the Crypto market. Because you never when these central KYC imposers are gonna dumb you.
Kyc verification is not better than before where you can only submit your identity card and you get approved, now you will need to lively submit your selfie, not submitting a saved picture, Binance and Okex are now using such tactics for their KYC verification.

True be told, it's stupidity to use someone else ID because you want to trade or use the exchange because you can end up in a situation where you need to submit more than your identity for certification, and imagine you are asked for bank statement and other.

If you are not ready for this, avoid centralized exchanges at all cost, we have Pancakeswap and DEX that requires your wallet connection only to perform trades and swaps.

You can avoid this on some exchange since Kucoin doesn't require there users to submit their KYC. But they have set limits which is fine especially when you trade small amount of money and will not exceed to 1BTC a day. For now this is the best casino for no KYC needed category since they are somehow reputable exchange which operates for long years.

Any other exchange well I can't trust them especially those new ones stating that they will not require KYC to anyone.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2023, 09:41:52 AM
Rumors are that Damian Lillard is not happy that the Trailblazers didn’t try and trade their pick to get him some win now help. He’s also basically stated that he wants to be in Miami with Bam and Jimmy. It seems like this is going to happen and probably going to happen this week. I still think the Beal trade is the big move so far though.

Without a doubt he's gonna opt out if the Traileblazers aren't going to get him a good help. This is just another similar story of LeBron with the Cavs when they all let LeBron carry the whole squad without providing him with any legitimate teammates.

He maybe got pressured by fans to get a ring that's why he now thinking to go out on Blazers since he cannot get any if he stays as his team seems doesn't nor have capability to build a good rooster that can help them to be a title contender next season. Lillard prove so many things in Blazers and I guess that's enough already and its time for him to chase up some rings since its good to retire that you have at least one accumulated on your playing career.
1173  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin high transaction fees is a disadvantage to small business owners on: June 26, 2023, 09:53:36 PM
I always make an effort to withhold my opinion regarding the use of Bitcoin transactions for goods and services when the market is rumored to be heading towards a bull phase. It's crucial to time your utilization of Bitcoin for transactions appropriately, but it's also important to note that you shouldn't engage in trading soon, as the primary objective is to accumulate.

The things is when there's a lot of transaction in bull or any day, it would be a hassle for the Bitcoin to use as transactions due to traffic of the process. It would be a good to use Bitcoin as an alternative mode of payment or transaction but there's also cons like that. And true if you're in a business you should plan to not engage in the market as you use Bitcoin for your business. It will just makes thing complicated and inconvenient.

For now it need some improvement to settle up the fees so that this coin can be use on business sector as alternative mode of payment since its really bad if we experience high fees condition since we can't do anything since it will just hurt there business if they decide to continue and just pay those huge fees since it take huge part on their profits. I guess they should add alternative alts if they plan to add crypto so that costumers may have different options if network clogged and high fees exist.

I've created a thread on the Scam Accusations board for wider dissemination to warn people to be careful with phishing sites.
Another phishing site found by @acroman08 bitcasino.com when clicking on the list leads to live.bitcasino.io.
The link is
Code:
bonus-bitcasino.com
It is dot com, not dot io.

Even if it is dot io, a probable legit page would be
Code:
bonus.bitcasino.io
between bonus and bitcasino.io should be a hyphen -, not a dot.

Even if it is a dot in between, you must double check with other channels of Bitcasino.io company to be sure it is not a phishing page.

Learn with Phishing Quizzes - Beginners & Experts

The word bonus in url just make that as obvious scam site. But even though many knows that still newbies should be warned about this site since if they got fall on the trap and log in their account on that site for sure all their balances will gone  So its good that @ajiz bring this up here since it can catch up an attention and warn many people who think about participating on the bonuses what Bitcasino gives to their community.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 26, 2023, 10:07:26 AM
[....]
So it might be a 3 year deal for Green worth $100 Million++
Damn! That's a huge L for the Warriors if they grant Green that much for a 3-year deal imo. I think $80M would be the more ideal or the max contract they should offer. That's probably enough money to show respect for his previous contributions to the team that brought four championships before they part ways. This is great for Draymond if he gets that over $100M and probably bad for Klay when he becomes a UFA next season.

I think that's a bad deal.
Why pay 100 million for 3 years for a guy who is averaging a tripple single.  Grin

Of course he has "veteran leadership" and is a 2 way player, but not for that money. Age is also a big factor, also his brain farts he likes to produce. Never forgetting his endless run of flagrant fouls and brain less buzzer beater attempts instead of passing the ball to Steph or Klay.

He is a deserving franchise player but you should make this a better business decision, especially with the new CBA coming.

If we look solely at the stats, we might criticize or think that he is overvalued. However, man, the Warriors definitely know what they are doing, and even if you ask an expert, they'll say that Green is truly one of the major reasons the Warriors achieved their previous championships. I would say that Green is the obvious leader of the team. Without him, this Warriors team might struggle and wouldn't be as fun to watch anymore.

I will rest my case on how the management will take care of this matter,

I do believe that they know it well more than how readers and fans are looking at it. Business wise, Warriors need to
consider the good ties of all those supporters knowing how they value the contributions that Greens gave them from
the past. Though on the other side, affecting Klay might be another concern if they will give Green huge offer if they
will grant what he's asking they might be having some concern after Thompson's contract.

That might be another problem to solve since for sure next to that if they give what Green ask Klay will might provably demand what he deserve for and I think maybe this will be a huge problem with Warriors because they will lose a lot with this request. Imagine what woll happen next to this so provably this trio will separate ways due to salary issue and might we can't see them retire wearing Warriors jersey because of this.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing Altcoin (ATC), Ethereum's alternative to Bitcoin on: June 24, 2023, 01:42:22 PM
Since you are comparing this to BTC and Ethereum then you guys have a lot of work to do. If it is an Alternative to Ethereum and Bitcoin then it should have its own chain but for now, the project is on Ethereum, this is a concern to me. Looking into your website it is all these common information you get from different shitty projects out there and nothing new to make me say this could be different this time. You need to show substance to make people believe in your project and this is what I always tell people quality projects will always shine and rule, do not chase the price
The truth is that, trying to compare the acclaimed coin with Bitcoin or Ethereum is a dead at arrival thing and as a matter of fact this is a big red flag for investors who already know and have had experience with such coins in the past and who promise unrealistic promises and at the end pulling and exit one on investors who gulf there trust for coins.

So instead of focusing on trying to compete with an already existing coin like Bitcoin, why not channel the energy on improving your platform in other to provide a better alternative and serve the purpose you created the coin?

Usually they do that to gather peoples attention. But all crypto enthusiast knows that there is no more better than those coins especially when a new one released out of nowhere claiming that they are better without giving any context on their claims. Much really better for them to stop comparing there created coin to Bitcoin since.if they do that many will got turned off about their statement and  provably people will just ignore it because people might just thought that this is just another shitcoin created by ambitious dev.
1177  Economy / Gambling / Re: l0tt0.com on: June 24, 2023, 10:59:06 AM
It appears that the OP's intention for this thread was to gather input and recommendations from the community regarding his gambling website, rather than using it as the primary announcement thread. Like soft-launch or beta testing. The OP can use this thread to gather input from the community, and then he can move on to making a separate announcement when he feels like it's ready for the public eye.

Always good to read up all community sentiments since this could make their gambling site more better and provably from listening tl what people suggest they can catch the interest of majority of forum users to try out what they can offer. To many lottery type gambling site exist and for sure a lot of people already get used to it. So maybe they should add some exciting vibe so that site visitors will always get excited when they open their site and convince them to gamble.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 23, 2023, 10:24:38 PM

they are very well-known personalities all over the world, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a lot of people who would want to see this fight happen. it's probably a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see two of the richest men in the world fight it out in the octagon.

It is definitely not there thing. What happens if few feeble punches takes one to the ground and he perhaps passes out, I guess we will see another record on genis book of records. Those rich guys likes to be alive to enjoy what they have built. Elon musk mum already given heads to what it is all about. It is not going to happen, that I don't see coming.
and so are a lot of the YouTubers who participated in a boxing match. you seem to be underestimating these two people a lot, Mark Zuckerberg recently joined a jiu-jitsu tournament and won a gold and silver medal, Elon Musk claims that he had trained in martial arts when he was a kid and briefly trained in Jiu-Jitsu as an adult(I saw a video clip of him on a joe rogan podcast). besides, pretty sure if this fight ever goes through(which is most likely not because of the twit of Elon Musk's mom) they'd train themselves to prepare for this fight. I am not going to claim that their fight will be good or spectacular, but it would still be entertaining to watch these two fight.

I don't know if they gonna let this fight to happen since they are both busy and this is just a waste of their time.  But if both of them bored and will make this fight to happen for sure this one create history even though this is not a serious fight. If there's betting gonna happen I will choose the youth since Zuckerberg has a lot of advantage on this fight since also he have good trainings compare to Musk which we don't know if he really can fight Zuckerberg in physical fight.
1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Job Lists on: June 23, 2023, 01:00:18 PM
Maybe we should pin this thread  Cheesy But most of Cryptocurrency Job is highly skilled worker especially smart contract programmer is on high demand, Is there any sort of tutorial to guide how to become Smart Contract Engineer?
I tried to find jobs for content writing on Coindesk, Cointelegraph, BitcoinMagazine ... and the results are like you told, they requested good CVs with long experience in cryptocurrency and content writing.

It is not suitable for me but we can start from lowest sidesteps and gradually improve ourselves and climb up.

They look for guys who have a lot of experience since those clients want a job to be done without any issues. But don't get upset about it since for sure if you are consistent taking many jobs similar to what experience those companies ask for sure you became more skilled and can qualify to what requirements they ask once they hire another worker again. For now if there's opportunity knocking on your doors grab it since it will add to your portfolio and can solidify your reputation then be the best choice for them.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having no money to invest in Bitcoin is even better on: June 23, 2023, 11:26:44 AM
Do not walk away from Bitcoin investment because you don't have the money, it's even better not to have money because you will have the patience to learn more about everything, and when the money comes, you will be able to avoid many dramas.

There are people who cannot afford long hours just to earn bitcoin so they usually use their own money to earn profits in return.

But there are people who doesn't have any money to use so most of the time they exert more efforts to gain bitcoins by working multiple jobs they can get on any platform they are. So you cannot say about its good not to have money to invest since its still depends on situation we are facing on.
