BTC doesn't need China, but let's face reality, the Chinese economy is huge. If BTC is adopted and accepted in China, this will have a huge impact on BTC.

BTC is beyond the point of complete failure, it can and will likely suffer setbacks, but I believe it is now here to stay. There will always be a segment of the market that will support it. Likely those of us here talking about it now on Bitcoin talk.

Who knows what the fiat price of BTC is going to be, but one thing is for certain. Bitcoin is here to stayf

Banks are not countries. Banks are not states.
Bolivia did not ban bitcoins. Bolivia's banks did.
Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. are not warning against using bitcoins. Their banks are.
Saying that a country bans bitcoins when their main banks ban them is like saying that a country has banned Whoppers because McDonalds in that country has banned all Whopper sales in their restaurants.
News alert, banks do not transfer bitcoins. Banks do not hold bitcoins in their accounts. Banning their use in their banks is meaningless.
I agree with you on many levels, but unfortunately banks do run governments. Not the other way around.

Very nice pins. Good job.

Great job, thanks for continuing to help spread the word about bitcoin. I see more and more Canadian business each day taking the plunge. Unforunately the vast majority of Canadians are still in the dark about Bitcoin. Keep up the good work.

Very sorry to hear. Sad story and hope things get better for you guys soon!

Of course, there are more and more women using bitcoin everyday.

Your original post is confusing. At a certain retailer - everyone spending? Or (as you also said) "people pick a favorite small business" (which means only you could go there because its likely local). There is already a Bitcoin shopping day like black friday. http://www.bitcoinblackfriday.com/-B- Which has been a great success for the last two years.

Agreed. Tigerdirect will be a good destination.

Very nice, that is awesome.

I've actively been encouraging my fellow entrepreneurs in my area to adopt bitcoin. Many have and I believe the trend will continue.

Likely he's still around, he just isn't calling himself Satoshi.

The adoption rate of Bitcoin and Cryptos in general is only going to continue to grow. Sit tight and be right.

Luckily, Bitcoin is part of my job!
hmmmmm...Interesting, what do you do? If you don't mind me asking, how much do you make as well.. Founder and owner of All Things Luxury! We accept Bitcoin, Quark, Litecoin and Doge atm. Thanks for asking.

Haha yeah I know that shopping days are for girls, but what if we all organized a "shopping day" where we all pledge to spend at least 0.01BTC at a certain retailer? It would be like "cash mobs" where a group of people pick a day to support a favorite small business. We could make it a monthly thing if we want. If we publicize it right, it might get people's attention that you can buy things with Bitcoin.
I'd gladly volunteer my business to be the destination for that spending!

Argentina is no stranger to collapse. Hopefully their citizens have learned to have some money in gold, silver and bitcoin.
