1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: May 07, 2019, 05:16:36 AM
Until and unless they get into the adoption of blockchain technology they will stay against the cryptocurrency. Banks have faced a big loss due to the increased transactions that has taken place using bitcoin. These days to avoid lots and lots of process for large volume transactions people prefer bitcoin where there is no limitations and restrictions. This is a big blow for banks and soon can expect banks getting integrated with bitcoin and blockchain.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: May 07, 2019, 04:52:47 AM
Gambling is completely focused on earning, there were very small number of users who prefer it for fun. When one gets luck to win automatically the greed will accompany and this is where addiction gets initiated. To get rid of addiction that needs to be given priority is analyzing the spending. With this one need to be clear on the amount that can be spend, beyond which funds from the pocket shouldn't be taken whether it is win or loss. This is the practice of mine and I find good with it.
1163  Economy / Economics / Re: become rich by bitcoin. on: May 07, 2019, 03:34:28 AM
Each and everyone in the crypto world have got into its usage looking upon the growth and the earning it provided. Even with the high profiled people the same is the reason, now they might give reasons stating that they're into it knowing the potential of the technology. Being rich is possible, and for the same one needs to render skills or the capital fund to invest.
1164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin on its way to $20,000? on: May 06, 2019, 04:24:22 PM
Probably by halving we can touch the $20000, as we've already reached close to $20000 possibly a new ath will be reached. As in the previous quote 2022 is predicted to be a big year for Cryptocurrency. I believe there will be a price higher than $25000 by the halving scheduled next year and might reach $100000 by 2022 based on the adoption with time.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: May 05, 2019, 01:15:44 PM
The thread has got created three years back in 2016. By that time the first response it has got is the primedice as the best Dice site. Now after three years of time one that evolved from primedice termed stake.com seems to be the best among several dice sites that are available with different cryptocurrency acceptance.

But newbies and some people does not take care the opening post date and time. They just reply without thinking what they do. One more suggestion for OP. Please lock the thread if you get answer for your question on any thread.

It may be trashcanned or users needs to stop bumping it.
Agreed, but with time the popularity of dice sites will change. Going through the thread one can know about the dice site that is better at the moment as well years back. This way there is no need of locking the thread. As Windice is developed keeping dice as the primary game I believe this to be the better dice site for this time period.
1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Think Profitably - a Trader’s Mindset on: May 05, 2019, 12:35:25 PM
From my learning a winning trader will be taking decision precisely according to the market move, because everytime the market will not be same as we expect. Upon this it isn't possible to sell at the targeted price as the market will change in any direction in no time. There is nothing as a bad trader, because a trader who doesn't have the proper knowledge will experience loss, other than few exceptions who succeed through luck. Whoever it is there is nothing as a good and bad trader.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 05, 2019, 10:03:51 AM
Governments won't come up with plans of creating their own cryptocurrencies for the transaction needs. Already they've got the fiat under their control and if there exist a cryptocurrency on the decentralized platform surely governments won't be having control over the same. With this majority of the governments around the world will continue sticking to the traditional fiat usage.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: May 05, 2019, 08:04:26 AM
Future of bitcoin will be highly progressive, to the growing adoption and acceptance of bitcoin the limited supply of bitcoin will be in great demand. When there is increase in demand automatically each Satoshi will get a big value. More the usage more will be the the growth and usage making it serve similar to fiat.
1169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: May 03, 2019, 09:23:06 PM
Btc Halving 2020 occures circa "Reward-Drop ETA date: 23 May 2020"
the supply be cut by 50%, this is a major news.
We are going to feel it in a few months.

Have a look at the counter https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
We have an year to experience this, now the speculations and price predictions were made completely in relation to the event of halving that is scheduled for the upcoming year. During the past halving there is no much of growth as predicted around the days of halving. Few weeks after halving the market began to progress and gave good growth. This time with lot of expectation people continue to keep hold of bitcoin and continues to buy whenever there is some drop in price.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: May 03, 2019, 08:47:57 PM
As there is not much of growth with altcoins relative to the growth of bitcoin this can be used as the right instance to invest onto altcoins. The possibility to profit from altcoins were high, but not every altcoin gonna get the best profit. Probably by the end of the year there will be good growth with the entire cryptocurrency which is due to the market getting stronger for the halving.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: The History of Gold and Silver Points to the future of Cryptocurrency on: May 03, 2019, 05:05:57 PM
Gold bugs definitely feel threatened by crypto:

https://www.ccn.com/world-gold-council-blinks-bitcoin

Quote
Gold may have a value of $7.8 trillion, but it isn’t happy about giving any of that up to bitcoin, the latter of which has a market cap of $97.2 billion. A day after Grayscale unleashed its “Drop Gold promotion, a TV commercial that garnered 100,000 views in less than 24 hours, the World Gold Council is clapping back. Gold’s reputation as a store of value has gone pretty much uncontested for thousands of years – until bitcoin, which has earned the reputation as digital gold in addition to its use case as a currency.

In a tweet, the Council stated:

“Cryptocurrencies are no replacement for gold.”

The World Gold Council didn’t stop there and published a blog outlining the features differentiating the precious metal from cryptocurrencies. They state:

“Although cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology look promising as a whole, they clearly do not represent a substitute for gold either in theory or in practice.”

Basically, they suggest gold is better for the following reasons:

    less volatility
    greater liquidity
    a more “established regulatory framework.”

Touche. Yet they acknowledge bitcoin only has a 10-year history while gold has been around since 600 B.C. Bitcoin’s share of the store-of-value pie is only going to expand. Meanwhile, volatility remains a function of the extreme views surrounding the digital currency, both for its ascent and its demise.
gold

The big question is whether some holders of gold will diversify into crypto "just in case". From a risk management point of view, diversification makes sense.

No one should be threatened by Bitcoin. Bitcoin will solely point to why current financial system sucks and make value of gold way higher in the future. Yes right now it takes some shine away off the Golds, but that is just temporary. What I like most recently is that people, institutions and governments are realizing that if they dont hold their gold is not really their gold.
bitcoin seems to emerge and provide the right solution for the future with its decentralized system. this system is very contrary to the current system, so it requires a long process to be accepted by most governments. while gold will remain the prima donna to save property

Gold will not only remain. But Gold will gain a lot more in upcoming years and decades.
If every country regulate the usage of cryptocurrencies there is a possibility for an existence of cryptocurrencies with gold backing to provide added security to the asset we hold through a decentralized medium. Gold will always serve as a trusted source making it remain for decades.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get notifications when BTC rices or drops on: May 03, 2019, 03:49:21 PM
There were more and more apps for this and majority prefer blockfolio. Here user gets the access to make their own portfolio and get notified upon the price. When one is getting into cryptocurrency usage rather than going behind apps for getting price notifications it is good to go through the market and know what is happening with the market.
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 03, 2019, 12:23:04 PM
With bitcoin we can buy each and everything, and this depends upon the effort that we take. As in the op we've got increased number of services and stores accepting bitcoin compared to the past. There are people who are meeting their life needs with the direct usage of bitcoin.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 03, 2019, 04:50:47 AM
Each script will vary and based on that it is really hard to determine the mathematical formula used on winning a lottery. However we examine the winning with lottery will be completely dependent on luck. It all seems to be a random pick where formulas were simply the probability makers.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin now supported by Coinbase! on: May 03, 2019, 03:49:11 AM
This will be a good news for the coinbase users. Getting listed on more exchanges help with the increasing trades which will enrich the circulation of the assets. Already dogecoin has got good trading volume and there used to be continued variation supportive for trading. This too seems to be a good for all investors as the price is low it seems much affordable among the top listed altcoins within 50 of CMC.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: the increase in the price of bitcoin is getting better. on: May 03, 2019, 03:35:30 AM
we all can see for ourselves at the beginning of 2019 until now the price of bitcoin seems to always experience a good price increase, but if at the end of 2019 the price of bitcoin can reach $ 50000, what do you think?
Anything could happen by the end of the year, even $50000 seems to be an realistic price prediction. Now we've been gaining momentum for continued price increase from the low bottom price around $5200. Today we're nearing the $5600 which was reached few days back. This time it will cross the $6000 barrier which make way for a strong bull market.
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 03, 2019, 03:06:55 AM
bitcoin will replace all these traditional online payment processors such as Paypal, Apple pay,... soon and it won't matter if they adopt blockchain technology themselves. for example even if Paypal turned into a token it still wouldn't change anything about its replacement by bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized and it also doesn't have the huge disadvantage of them which is charge back ability.
Yes, this will happen as people are much aware about the third-party services that control the money of the users. With bitcoin we're eliminating the third party involved. Traditional payments have come up with better accessibility than what we have with cryptocurrency transaction services. When the adoption of cryptocurrency goes high people will surely prefer bitcoin for every needs, and until then traditional fiat and traditional payment processors will serve the common people.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: May 03, 2019, 12:22:31 AM
no gambling is not bad at all. everybody keep blaming gambling again and again. it's like if they hit their toe on the side of their bad then they blame bed to be there. gambling is just a game so as long as you play it for fun it's a very good and refreshing game but when you lose your common senses and believe on your stupid humanity you will lose and its also good because it makes us mentally strong. your life is not gambling its not truth or dare you to have to beat it. everyone can get their dream life all they have to do is take correct decisions at the correct time.
That is gambling, life is not gambling but determining the decision at the right time in life is indirect gambling. Gambling is a game of luck and living a life is a must for us to have good decisions at all times. In this case there are many parts that can be linked, but gambling has indeed been labeled negative but it's different when we can control it well and get good results too.
Gambling has been portrayed negatively by most of the users, to get rid of the same isn't a simple thing. As people go uncontrolled the same continues. Gambling is indeed not that bad as mentioned, people should know when this need to be used and the for what purpose it needs to be preferred. When these factors were clear people won't get addicted easily.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: May 02, 2019, 11:46:37 PM
My local fiat casinos and sports betting sites will not let me gamble outside my country, do to country restrictions, so here are crypto casinos a great thing to use. I also like that I don't have to pass KYC on online casinos. As well as it is great to be able to use my crypto on something.
Rather than the access support people find the usage of cryptocurrency more convenient than that of the traditional fiat usage into gambling. This is where people look upon for the easier usage access without more restrictions. This makes people use bitcoin and not just fiat. In specific user who have begun to gamble with bitcoin will never move back to fiat in my view.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is the world's 3rd strongest currency on: May 02, 2019, 11:19:07 PM
As it holds value it gets used as currency. This is where the usage of bitcoin as currency exists, and this doesn't make bitcoin to be the world's third strongest currency. In terms of trading usage bitcoin might have got the third place, first is the Chinese Yuan, USD and at the third position is for bitcoin.
