How much can you earn with an s9 now? 14 x .26 = 3.64 usd a day burns 29 kwatts so if you need heat and have 10 cent power you earn 74 usd cents a day. plus get heat. my deal is 1/2 the coins so 2 machines = 1 free one so it is earning $3.64 a day for me. |

Interesting. In my non-bitcoin holdings (retirement and junk) my net worth doubled under Trump. Gotta say a fair bit of it was in 2019 and 2020 but facts are facts. By comparison my non bitcoin net worth tripled under the first 4 years of Obama after 8 years of stagnation under Bush. Second 4 years under O was also pretty stagnant. well my wife's 401k is all safe harbor so under 1%. is not much . say 1.5k vs 10-11k our expenses and medical bills were more than 10k worse the the year before. that is down close to 10 along with the bills 10k more is -20k The btc helped the year be okay. In historical terms, I would become a bit restless at $70k+ if this run endures without meaningful pause. This for the 'double spike' theory.
In the longer run (12-18 months), $288k would be my absolute limit.
That sounds within a range of reasonable regarding the $70k on this particular streak that we are on currently.. but your 12-18 months number seems a bit conservative.. and sure, I am not necessarily considering the higher numbers to have great chances of happening.. but the use of the term "absolute limit" might be more of a $1million coin rather than a $288k coin.. but whatever, each of us is entitled to our perspectives regarding the assignment of probabilities to various outcomes - including the assignment of probabilities to outrageous overshooting that has historically happened in bitcoin. Some people say there's no inflation, especially with food prices. I beg to differ. Was at the grocery store just the other day, my total food bill has jumped $80/trip in just 6 months time. Same. Exact. Items. Also, berries? Holy shit. 32 oz of strawberries are now DOUBLE price what they were 6 months ago. Double. Similar inflation with raspberries and blackberries too. I am good about pinching pennies using coupons and the like. My 2020 food bill was huge. Maybe 45% higher than the year before. so 100 a week is now 145 about 2k uptick Now My gasoline bill dropped a lot. I drove under 4000 miles last year vs 20000 a year before that. so 16000 mile at 25 a gallon is 640 gallons at 2.50 = 1600 saved. so on food and gas I am down 400-500 for 2020. But med insurance up 1300 Med bills huge due to wife and I getting covid-19? in Jan 2020 maybe 7000 spent Home taxes up maybe 500 wife has a 401k and likes in "safe" bets so .5% vs 3%. is a 2.5% drop. or 2500 loss on even 100k in the 401k last year was a disaster for us with the exception of BTC!! |
