11621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Longterm Mining on: February 24, 2017, 10:50:22 PM
Even with FREE ELECTRICITY all mining will produce less and less profit as time goes on.

Right now for most around the world mining is hardly profitable, and yet the difficulty still goes on.

More and more people are learning about Bitcoin and mining and everyday there are hundreds of GPUs that are brought online.

I think this has alot to do with the 3rd world countries where making $0.10/day with a GPU is equivalent to making $100/day in the USA.

The best time to mine was when nobody else was mining.

Like with Bitcoin, then with Litecoin, then everybody gave up so Ethereum became profitable for the early adopters, etc , etc.

Zec: with Claymore 12.1 is near of 200 sols, Eth:12-15MHS and Xmr 450hs.

I don't think you can get 15MH/s with ETH, maybe 12 with some overclocking/memory hacking tweaks

11623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 10:43:49 PM
Suprisingly the 2GB cards still are working for ETH.

However they are SLOW due to DAG slowdown with the Tahiti and Pitcairn.

are they ? I was trying to mine with 2 gb cards 2-3 weeks ago with no luck.
I was missing something in config ?

It works in one of my rigs and not the other. Something to do with which slot the 2GB is in or which Windwos you are using or which driver. They do work, however the 270x hashes at like 11MH/s. Very slow

The Tahiti is very slow also like 15MH/s.

This might not be a scam however in my area normally with these types of businesses they usually undergo new management every 5 years or so.

Its very rare for a night club or gentlemen's club to be in business for 20 years.

So these memberships will most likely only be good for the next 5 years or so.
With Vegas getting a Hockey team and a Football team a club that is right across the street from the stadium with Adult film stars and UFC fighters is something that I think people will want around for a very long time!

I disagree. Times changes very fast in your industry. 5 years ago most of the clubs in my area are gone or under new mangement or new name.

I wish you luck in your business and ICO however unless you prepare to offer some type of collaternal then it seems very risky buying these tokens which will become worthless when management changes.

You are selling memberships you are not selling shares to your business.

With the Pitcairn your only choice is the XMR or ZEC or EXP.

XMR @ 500 H/s gets you $0.54
ZEC @ 175 H/s gets you $0.59
EXP @ 20MH/s gets you $0.67

You can also try to dual mine and maybe get an extra 5 pennies.

Yeah its tough, but at least your GPU is paid off. The RX 470/480 for other's don't make much of a difference anyways. In these markets its not worth upgrading GPUs at this time.

So Claymore's new miner now supports dual mining for PASC.

So if we get a pool, which has enabled stratum mining, it will be very difficult to mine the coin then since the difficulty will be very high.

So mine away while the difficulty is low enough for solo mining, if by some luck the coin has some value in the future, you won't be able to mine it then for profit.

I have problem with sync wallet
it is stop at block 74227
how fix it?

This is because the chain reached its destination, its official now. Mining has dried out and since miners have already exhausted supply of mineable units further coin generation is impossible. Coins cant be generated from thin air once the emission reserve has been emptied out.

LOL

Supply is unlimited for this coin.

11632  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETTING SITES TO AVOID on: February 24, 2017, 09:22:38 AM
There are pretty much numerios sites to avoid and many of them are coming online everyday so its hard to catch all of them.

For example, this guy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1666167.0

Most likely the scammer admin for that Rollin website, has shut down his 2nd website since he was caught using the same wallet as the previous website. Most likely he will launch another website pretty soon with a different name and scam people again.

11633  Economy / Gambling / Re: ODD - EVEN win 198% | Provably | House edge 1% on: February 24, 2017, 09:18:38 AM
Well he either brought it offline or he ended up selling it to somebody else.

Either way, I can almost gaurantee that he will be back with a new username on Bitcointalk and a new domain name for his gambling site.

Most likely this time he will be prepared and won't use the same wallet as for his first 2 scams sites and it will be difficult to catch him then.

Looks like they finally fixed the BTC/USD price, it seems they are using the exact same quotes provider as for the forex pairs because there are huge upward spikes like we have been experiencing for months on the forex pairs.

Oh well, at least the price is correct.

However there are other issues like the other guy in this thread mentioned, the times are messed up with certain forex pairs.
11635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: February 24, 2017, 09:13:24 AM
Does anyone know if PrimeDice uses Cloudflare? I know that some sites use it due to the DDOS attacks that we have encountered but I don't remember if Primedice has used it in the past or if they are currently using it?

Wondering if the devs can chime in and let us know how to proceed and if any critical data was leaked?
11636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 09:06:12 AM
On my low power bios modded RX 470 4GB cards, the best setting is DCRI 17/18
I get ETH 26 and PASC 240 per card, each card drawing about 105W at the wall.

What kind of RX470 do u have ?
what kind of low power bios are u using ?

thx

I am pretty sure its not 105W at the wall while dual mining. He is most likely looking at his GPU-z wattage. I think it uses 150W or so.

11637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 06:50:40 AM
Well ZEC mining for the Tahiti's is pretty bad right now.

I might try EXP mining on the 280X with Pascal dual mining.

However something tells me the power consumption will be in the Litecoin mining territory, pretty much like this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUvUmo8dBmU

2 of the R9 280X consuming 700 Watts at the wall.

11638  Other / Meta / Cloudflare hacked? So now we need to change passwords on Bitcointalk again? on: February 24, 2017, 03:05:17 AM
Found this on Reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5vuih9/internet_psa_cloudbleed_cloudflare_leaked/

Since Bitcointalk uses Cloudfare this means we need to change our passwords again? Also Bitfinex, Poloniex, Coinbase, etc ?

Alright who is posting these messages? As far as I know nobody performs the time cheat anymore. No reason to anyways since the difficulty is very low.

For everyone that is having issues with your withdraws. See this website.

https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Currently if you want your transaction confirmed within the hour or two it would cost 180 Sats/byte. Earlier in the day it was 200 Sats/byte.

I am pretty sure sometime in the next 90 days or so this fee will be raised to 250Sats/byte which will be at least $1 to send a medium type of transaction.

This is the reason why we need SegWit activated because this is getting ridiculous.
