we are doing okay today at this moment in time.

I am growing quite fond of political posts.

If btc shows no movement or whatsoever, then politics is the next topic I guess

There are other annoying topics we could try as well.

How about religion or sports?    Cool

Sports is still a bit of good, as long as it are my favorite sports Cheesy

Or what about FOOD  Tongue

Ahh food. Nice one.

I just made a 100% grass fed brisket.

Slow cook with filtered water and rosemary.

I lay it out in a lasagna tray resting on a grill pour 1 cup of filtered pure water.

Sprinkle the fat side of the brisket with rosemary and pink sea salt.  Stack 2 small spacers on the meat cover with aluminum foil.

Place in over at 220 F temp for 12 hours.

Pull the meat out and slice it hot.put it into a large salad bowl drop all the juices from the pan onto the meat  put a spacer on it cover with aluminum foil.  Let cool 20 minutes

And serve

It is tender juicy and tasty.  Salt and pepper to you own taste.
Most of the time I make sweet potatoes to serve with it and maybe some snap peas.

Damn it tastes good.

would I get more than 15 mh stock setting on win 7 850 power supply  try 3 different miner software it hook up to tv but using on  board graft  known if that could the problem my nvidia rig has no problem have not used amd since the 280x . I was using older broad gen 3 pci. no riser

this is really simple to answer.  Win7 is no longer a good option for you to use.

So if you only have the one pc and want to run win 7 on it you will get the low hash.

Do you have a second pc?

Well I remember inflation back in the late 60's and 70's bank interest rates surged like mad.

Now banks rates suck.

Your interest is if you have BTC baby.

Every one needs a piece of btc to stay ahead of inflation.

Those waiting to buy are only going to regret not having some to fight off inflation.
11625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Asic LINZHI 2600 Mh/s on: January 09, 2021, 01:48:16 PM
Also a lot depends on Your power cost.

Say these exist you pay and wait 100 days.

They go out and build newer  versions with your money.

Maybe three to five units with 6 or 8 gb.

Takes them a month . They now mine with the one you paid for for 70 days. And have multiple improved models added with the cash. So what happens. They score.

Only mentally ill people would buy this. Unless it was three day ship time.

Besides it is 12000 usd plus shipping and maybe trump r
Tax to usa. Makes it a 15k item that does not show up until april.

AMD 5700xt is say 400 you can get 30 for 12k and do 1500 hash for 3000 watts.

All on warranty. 3000 in cash left over. Pays for 30000 kwatts of ten cent power.

You use 120 kwatts a day with 30 5700xt units. So your power would be paid for 250 days.

I purchased three 5700xts this week for 1200. I know I can get 30 by the 1st of feb.
why buy 5700s anymore, wait for 3060 ti to become comin stock , i know hasrate and power is close i guess

Its all about getting the gear.  I have a new space I can fit 50 mobos into it.  Actually more like 100 mobos

amd 5500 xt
amd 5600 xt
amd 5700 xt

nvidia 3060ti
nvidia 3080

all of the above are good enough for my power deal.  So whatever I can get close to oem price,  I get. For me getting legit items with real warranties = very important.

I have a sweetheart power deal. Locked warehouse with security.

In a world of magic where I get everything I want, I would take all 3060ti put 3 on a Onda d1800 board and squeeze in a short 1660ti .

 The board would do 3x60 = 180 + 27 = 207mh at 500-525watts
I would run it with:
 seasonic focus psu 850 watt
 or corsair rm850x psu
with a stick of 8gb samsung ram

I would hook up 6 to a digital logger ethernet control switch so they could power on and off from my house 65 miles away.

I would add 12 rigs every 2 weeks .

but I can't get the parts.

I would buy a few of the op's asic  rigs listed  here if I got them in hand by feb 1st and prices were good.

I think we could be good for most of this year price wise.

I'm calling $44k  this weekend   Cool

the crazy thing is, +10% in 48 hours doesn't sound very bullish at all. most likely it's to bearish.  Grin

I think cracking 50 by Monday morning is a,  wait for it:

please tell me why do you orefer viabtc pool, I was mining on slush when they had a website looking like this forum, last two month I still mined with them but my expectations were not met in amount of mined BTC, I was also considering kano but I don't think I like there luck.

well pps + and no luck involved means:

ETH
Avg. Daily Earnings 0.00007049 ETH/M (≈PPS 166.56%)    that means that blocks are way bigger

BTC
Avg. Daily Earnings 0.00000737 BTC/T (≈PPS 109.18%) this mean blocks are somewhat bigger

LTC
Avg. Daily Earnings 0.02482162 LTC/G (≈PPS 96.25%) fees are very low for ltc so blocks are smaller.  but they do merge mine doge so you end up over 100% of an LTC block

No luck they just pay.
Below is my referral code which means I get a piece of your fees but you do not Pay higher

https://www.viabtc.com/signup?refer=257609

Lastly they run 2/3 promos each year which cut fees down 30% for a few months of the year.
well I'm running 560Th/s at the moment and last 30 day payout from slush was 0.09 btc which is way lower than est. calculated from 0.00000737 BTC/T
tomorrow I'll test braiinsOS and consider switching

you would have made over 0.11 at viabtc

What I don't understand is why Trump didn't immediately switch to Gab or Parler when he became president. All his followers would have switched too, and all his opponents and all of MSM would have had to switch too.
It would have made it an immediate success and a serious, uncensored, threat to twitter.

Parler is no different. Parler is a US corporation, and as such has to abide by the same laws and regulations. There absolutely is "censorship" on Parler. They remove posts, ban users, etc. who violate their terms&conditions.

Yes, well of course they have rules, everybody does, but Parler only have what you might call "skeleton rules" but if you brake those, you will of course be punished. But they are neutral, and don't kick people out for having the "wrong" ideas.

"Wrong" actually is "harmful", "wrong" opinions that are not harmful are not censored. And in that sense all the MS social media also have skelleton rules. I mean you can still spread anti-vax shit there. And people do actually believe that shit causing huge economic damage - and driving up the price of my health insurance and making it take longer till the bars and clubs reopen.

It doesn't matter what label you put on it, it's still censorship.

Did you drink your bleach today? The president said injection works so stop drinking it and start shooting it.

While you may say I am not that stupid I dont drink or inject it. Some people can be very naive and just loyally obey what their president says .

Frankly I have been through 12 presidents and have caught all but two lying multiple times.

I was under three years old for Eisenhauser and about 4-6 years old for Kennedy. But every one since has clearly lied at least one time.

So I know everything I read or see may be a lie or true.
11632  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Introduces the S19 and S19 Pro on: January 09, 2021, 04:16:29 AM
Yes UPS was mental, price was ok if 2 or more ordered but something wrong with it if only ordering one.

Wonder why they stopped accepting BTC

Well they do some mining. So they want cash to pay bills while they hold the btc from mining.

Pretty safe hedge.

@ malevolent

I am going to read the articles thanks.

First 2 were good. Third one I need to subscribe.

I wonder if we really cant get much gear for the whole year.

I actually like it if true.
11633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 700 mhs ethereum miner - How much profit? on: January 09, 2021, 04:14:15 AM
by the end of january they should be there.

Show photos I would love to see  the build.

Good luck.
11634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: January 09, 2021, 01:11:26 AM
So what we need  for tomorrow's chart is for:

USD to top 40K
GBP to top  30k
Euro to go to 33333
CAD to go to 50k
JPY  goes to  4,222,222

Damn!
11635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 09, 2021, 12:40:30 AM
We seem to be having problems staying over 40K.
Is this just a natural correction and Resistance or should we be worried

WoW, bit fast to be worried .... to crazy to discus in fact
.

please  find the rusty pipe.

We are on wards and upwards for at least 13 days .  Most likely if Biden gets swore in without an issue many will sell off the btc they purchased just in case.

Don't sell a lot as I still think we go back up again.
11636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: January 09, 2021, 12:37:34 AM
Well it could be a 2x edge sword.  It may be better to have high price and scarce gear as long as we can.  I think it could help coin prices stay higher.
11637  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: On bitcoin's very long term future without miner rewards on: January 08, 2021, 11:17:35 PM
There are millions of frozen coins.

As time marches on I believe the old frozen coins will be lifted from inactive accounts.

2024  =  3.125
2028  =  1.5625
2032  =  0.78125
2036  =  0.390625
2040  =  0.1953125
2044  =  0.09765625
2048  =  0.048828125

I think there could be a call to unlock the 2009 frozen accounts in 2039 or later.

the 21mill are still intact. Just recycle the frozen ones.

Many banks remove stale accounts with notice.  If they do this the issue leaves. For a long time.
11638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: January 08, 2021, 11:05:32 PM
those are good cards I have 3 of them.

If you grab them directly from evga they are 769 plus tax.

so you mark up is about 150 a card.

Will you be able to warranty them?

If so I would grab them.
11639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: January 08, 2021, 10:51:28 PM
I can get a good amount of cards by the end of the month. Considering buyin' 20 with money I have not invested into anything else right now. And would not have to buy boards or anything, since I am swapping out old cards and would just have to swap the GPUs in.
It's a real seller (through a company, that has access to non retail distribution).

Which make and model?  some cards don't do 92-100 mh they do 75mh  so do you know the make and model
11640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: January 08, 2021, 10:33:24 PM
Would you guys take the risk and buy RTX 3080s at inflated prices? Like around $900 a pop (plus tax)? With delivery end of month?

Very hard call.

1) real seller
2) true warranty
3) good card know to do 95 mh steady

So 900 + 90 tax = 990 usd

vs 769 + 77 tax = 846 usd

I am using my evga cards as an example  mark up is say 150.

Lets say we drop to 7 cents a mh or 6.65 a day you pay 1.65 = 5 a day  but starts jan 31

so 150/5 = 30 days to make it up.

I would consider buying them
if seller is real
if true warranty
if a good card that does not wilt to 75-85mh

Also are you buying :

1
2
5
10
20

I would not buy with all my cash.

ie

if you can get 2 I would get 1 and save cash
if you can get 5 I would get 2 and save cash and btc
if you can get 10 I would get 5 and save cash/btc/eth
if you can get 20 I would get 10 and save cash/btc/eth

good luck.
