11701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: May 31, 2016, 01:40:29 PM
question for hardcore gamblers Smiley
when you have btc you mostly spend all on gambling and you are addicted how so when you dont have btc you dont miss gambling?
i know that i gamble for fun (i dont care too much of my money so i can afford to lose 10,50,100$) so why when you have btc you go to gamble even tho you know you will most likely lose ?
does this question have any sence to you? if not ill just lock topic im just interested how people when have btc they are addicted and when they dont have gambling addiction is not comming out.?
regards.
-Katerniko1

I do gamble for fun only and when I have no BTC I'm not missing gambling at all, I have many other things to do. And yes I know that most likely I will lose but I still gamble if I want to wind out a little.
11702  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: May 31, 2016, 08:18:26 AM
If you had a lot of money or Bitcoins how would you help Bitcoin/ Bitcoin community/Bitcoin awareness?

Never thought about it, but well ... I'd sponsor related studies for kids I guess. Bitcoin is the future so kids should know about it as much as possible. I think in 20-25 years 99% of the young people will use Bitcoin.
11703  Other / Politics & Society / Re: AMERICA PRESIDENT WHO YOU PREFER? on: May 30, 2016, 07:58:42 AM
I hope that trump will win, because everybody hate him, even obama makes jokes about him.

When he will win, then everybody will see that he was wrong and will apologize.

I hope that it won't happen. America has such a big impact on the whole world that I'm afraid we can't afford such an experiment.
11704  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Placing machines outside on cold winter? -20 on: May 30, 2016, 07:45:51 AM
in cold seasons if we are placing the machine in outside indicates that we are decreasing their lifespan. the machines productive capacity will decrease by itself. so i think its not the good idea to place outside

If the temperature is low, the electrical circuits will last longer and work more efficiently. My miner works better in winter.

But what about unfavorable conditions for the miners if you expose them to the very low temperature? I agree that electrical circuits might work more efficiently but how do you manage to keep miners without excessive moisture etc ?
11705  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 30, 2016, 07:37:27 AM
So what's the catch? As I said it quite a lot of times already, it is not a matter of if but sooner when your money gets stolen by an exchange. Their name is Legion...

This is a major issue with Bitcoin. There is not a single Bitcoin exchange out there, which we can trust 100%. I am using BTC-e for the last 4 years. Even then, I won't trust them. I never keep any of my coins in these exchanges on the long-term... but sometimes I am forced to do so (for example, to purchase LTC in exchange for BTC).

I agree with you, but is there a bank which we can trust 100%? No. But we do not consider this as a big problem, we are just using the banks everyday. Same with Bitcoin exchanges: just don't use those which look very suspicious.
11706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 30, 2016, 07:22:36 AM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.

1. You can lose from the very start. Happened to me many times.

2. No one wins from gambling in the long run(proved many times)

3. Everything can be considered as a sickness: eating, watching TV series, playing games, etc.

What I'm saying is gambling is an ordinary thing: we are gambling with death every minute.
11707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: May 30, 2016, 07:02:07 AM
Do you really trust online bitcoin casinos you play at?

I think all lost in casino, except the owner.

You don't have to trust them just looking at their site, you can read reviews, feedback, you can check if the site is provably fair by yourself. The other story is whether you can win there. I think you can't, but that's not because a site can't be trusted.
11708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: should women be blamed for wearing daring dress thus reason they were raped on: May 29, 2016, 06:26:44 PM
Not such a bad question.

I'd say a woman wearing daring dress knows the effect it will have on men. It was invented for that sole purpose.
So such woman shouldn't blame later any man having a daring behavior.

The limit being, again, set by the law. You shouldn't be blamed for looking at such a woman and even daring asking her out. She doesn't like it? Well that's her problem. She says men are pigs? Well she shouldn't dress like a sow. (ever seen how much more insulting "sow" sounds? i mean feminists always yell everywhere that men are pigs but try calling a woman a sow you gonna see what you gonna see xD).

But again, any physical contact or insult are a crime in the eye of the law. So as you're question concerns rape, well the answer is rather obvious. She could be naked that wouldn't make any difference  Smiley

"your liberty stops where the one of others begin". You don't touch her liberty by looking or whistling, at least not more that she's doing by her look. But that's all you have the right to do to a stranger without its consent. Anything more is, and should always be, forbidden and punished.

Good point and very nicely put. I agree with almost every word. If go by a food stall in the street and see a delicious fruit lying on it would you take it and then say it was looking so seductive that's why I took it? No, you'll be punished for taking it without paying... Well maybe not the best comparison, but what I'm trying to say is seductive looks is no excuse for raping.
11709  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: May 29, 2016, 06:15:18 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

You are doing the right thing IMO. Unfortunately I can't afford to take 25% of my payment and turn it into Bitcoin. I spend all the money I earn each month sometimes even waiting 2-3 days to the next payment almost without a dollar in my pocket. BUT I have no debts and I have almost 1 BTC so I guess the life is good. )
11710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 29, 2016, 05:56:08 PM
Yeah, I'm rich from gambling. My negative profit is just slightly over $25 so that's why I say I'm rich - I haven't lost much. If you are a gambler there are two options:

1. You might lose a lot

2. You might lose a little
11711  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: May 29, 2016, 05:51:40 PM
For now Bitcoin for me is an investment mostly. I do sell a litle bit from time to time when I need some cash and have no other way to get it, but generally I'm trying not to.
11712  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mobile phones and cancer. on: May 29, 2016, 04:50:38 PM
No, they don't.

The amount of known cancer cases haven't changed significantly since the seventies actually. But mobile phone usage has increased by several billion since the start of the nineties. If mobile phones would cause cancer somehow then this would be incredibly easy to see in the amount of reported cancer cases.

Absolutely. Now we have more than enough numbers to do a statistic research. Mobile companies would be sued thousand times and this would cause the end of mobile phones' era. All these things aren't happening though.
11713  Economy / Economics / Re: So BitCoin is at $520 right now... Sell or Keep for a few more days? on: May 29, 2016, 04:12:52 PM
I said it briefly at $532/BTC today. It just dropped down to $520. if you had a large investment (~50 Bitcoins), so that makes a big difference in a few thousand dollars...

Should i keep it for a little longer and hope it jumps again?
Or sell now as it seems to have already peaked?

Closely watch,if bitcoin will keep above 520$ level, than we will see 650$ soon
personally i think btc will be at 650$

I really like your prediction! Hope you are right. I always thought Bitcoin will be over $500 by this Summer but it looks like it will be even more than that. Hope you are right mate.
11714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: May 29, 2016, 03:53:36 PM
Because if your gaining, your mind think that you can earn more. And if your losing, your mind think that you can recover your loss.
this kind of thing is like a hypnotist
yes, indeed sometimes gambling can always hypnotize everyone to be able to gamble.

Yeah, actually any addiction is like that. Take food addiction for example,  you are like hypnotized by food and can't resist eating it. ) Don't eat too much if you don't want to look ugly, don't gamble too much if you don't want to poor as a rat.
11715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accurate, unbias news media that is dedicated to crytocurrency development? on: May 29, 2016, 03:44:26 PM
What are the sources of your crytocurrency news and economy analysis?

Coindesk and cointelegraph are two of the trusted sites I am suscribed but I stumble the best and the breaking news about crypto currency here in Bitcointalk ...

I agree. I check Coindesk and cointelegraph from time to time but I've noticed that in case something worth attention appears there you'll find it pretty soon here on Bitcointalk. So Bitcointalk is the best IMO.
11716  Economy / Speculation / Re: LOOK BITCOIN IS GOING UP. on: May 28, 2016, 02:55:57 PM
Very much satisfied with today's price, never expected that it will reach there so early, and now it really excites me to see what will be the price at halving.

Although I wish the price Bitcoin to go up more and more I think the rising we are seeing now is due to coming halving, so after the halving it will not increase significantly. I expect around $550 but not higher.
11717  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Forget trans bathrooms! Now you can choose to be a dog on: May 28, 2016, 02:42:51 PM
LOL, the face on that woman is priceless. You can practically hear her thinking "I hope no one I know sees this!".

Actually I think all of that was staged and the woman is wearing that face to make us believe it's real. Reminds of the movie I love, What We Do in the Shadows, only that movie was fun this program was not.
11718  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: May 28, 2016, 01:48:22 PM
If you mean sell everything and buy Bitcoin with the money you are probably right. This is just the right time to do it. ) I'm joking of course, but seriously don't sell your coins now, cause it's the worst time to do it.
11719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: i win every day some btc, it's easy on: May 28, 2016, 11:33:49 AM
I do not believe that game i am sure game like that surely take sides to admin
and finally the player will lose my experience like that Sad

need use magic numbers too.
ends of amount bet use 77 or 55

for example amount 0.01 is wrong!!
Right bet 0.0177 or 0.0155

Are you even serious? "Magic numbers"? Who else except you have won anything on that site? If you want to promote your site start a Signature campaign and do giveaways. Do not think you are smarter than those who do it.
11720  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: May 28, 2016, 11:21:22 AM
I have kept buying on hold now, will wait for price drop, as today's price is very bigger for me, may be it will come down in next couple of days.

I wouldn't count on that happening in the future. The price of Bitcoin might stay as it is now or go slightly higher but not in the other direction. $500 for 1 BTC is a pretty fair price for today.
