Chelsea vs West Ham United not really sure conte would succeed in his first home match maybe i would try to bet over 2.5 goals because imo west ham has do well last season.

I'm optimistic that they'll win.  They have an awsome line up with Costa, Hazard, Oscar, Willan at the front.  Fabregas and Kante deep and Cahill, Terry in the central defense and Ivanovic and Azpilicueta at full back positions.  All they need is to play well on match day.  They certainly have the quality to beat any squad in the EPL.

A little update on BTS, FCT and MAID.  FCT and MAID broke out and are trending right now, but there's still time to get in.  You just have to pick your spots right.  While BTS is kinda trending but it's still waiting for that little nudge to take it to break out land.  Wink  It's the kind of price action that I like though.  It makes it easier to buy.  Just make a limit order and wait for it to get filled.  Simple.

By the way, in case you guys are wondering at what exchange these altcoins are good to buy, almost all the volume is at Poloniex right now.  That's the only exchange I would currently recommend if you're a newbie in trading altcoins.  I hope they list Waves over there soon.  Smiley

But keep in mind, the altcoin scene is very dynamic.  What's good yesterday will change tomorrow real quick.  So it's good to always get updated.

BTS/BTC

FCT/BTC

MAID/BTC

So who's next?  Please make it XRP.  Cheesy

I will look into this.  Their debut on Bittrex looks good the last time I checked.  It's just a matter of maintaining high/decent volume consistently.

Ever hear of PeerPlays

You will when it becomes the first profitable DAO

Yup I've heard about it.  But I'm afraid it's not trading with a high enough volume.

What a great game between Arsenal and Liverpool 7 goals scored in the match. I had a bet over 2.5 goals as I thought there would be some goals scored but didn't expect this many goals scored. It was a very entertaining game and as I have a bet on for Arsenal to finish in the top 4 I'm not off to a great start but my bet for Manchester City to win the Premier League is off to a good start. Man Utd had a comfortable win which was expected playing Bournemouth.

Win 2-1against sunderland with penalty kick goal and own goal is not a good start for Man city.

They should play better to win the league.

I agree.  During the post match interview Pep explicitly said that now he understands why the people say that the EPL is more difficult than the other leagues.  It's gonna be an adjustment from what he's used to.  This weekend City plays vs Stoke away.  If he thought the EPL was difficult playing vs Sunderland at home, let's see how he really feels vs Stoke away.  Cheesy

Liverpool was leading 4-1 but at the end they conceded two other goals. This is their main problem last season, so Klopp should think and work more to improve their defensive side. Good team should have a good balance in all sides. They have great offensive side already, but it will be useless if their deffensive side is bad.

I hope we see a consistent Liverpool this season.  Last season they had brilliant performances but then in the next game they would lose to the likes of Watford.

And I change my mind on Sadio Mane.  He could be worth the 40m Liverpool paid for him.  Did you see his celebration with Klopp?  Grin

I didn't expect Hull to play well defensively.  I guess it's because they already know Leicester's strategy.  Hull's back 4 was great leaving no space for Vardy.  I think Leicester's attack on the other hand isn't like what it was last year in this match. Musa seemed to slow the play down a couple of times, looking unsure of what to do. Last season Leicester attackers touched the ball once or twice then passes or crosses it really quick.
11727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 15, 2016, 12:19:06 AM
I'm going for McGregor in this fight after much thought about it.  I really do think this could go over 2.5 rounds, so I'm betting that as well.  I actually think this is a 5 round fight with Connor winning via unanimous decision.

DDoSCoin: New Crypto-Currency Rewards Users for Participating in DDoS Attacks

Source

Quote

In the most innovative, weirdest, and stupidest idea of the month, two researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Michigan have created a crypto-currency that rewards people for participating in DDoS attacks.
Called DDoSCoin, this digital currency rewards a person (called miner) for using their computer as part of a DDoS attack.

DDoSCoin works only when targeting TLS-enabled websites
Just like Bitcoin, DDoSCoin uses cryptographic data to provide a proof-of-work. In DDoSCoin's case, this proof-of-work is extracted from the TLS connection a miner establishes with the website they're supposed to attack.

"In modern versions of TLS, the server signs a client-provided parameter during the handshake, along with server-provided values used in the key exchange of the connection," the researchers explain. "This allows the client to prove to others that it has communicated with the server."

Because of this, DDoSCoin rewards miners who launch DDoS attacks only on TLS-enabled hosts. According to Alexa, just 56 percent of the Top 1 Million sites support TLS.

So what do you guys think?  I could see those researchers laughing while working on the white paper.  You can read it here:  https://www.usenix.org/system/files/conference/woot16/woot16-paper-wustrow.pdf

I will look into it.  But as far as I know Stratis isn't listed in any exchange yet.  I usually wait a month or two after a coin's listing in an exchange (preferably at Polo) and observe its volume.  If it's good or decent then that's a good sign, I put it in my watch list.

Anyway MAID broke out!  I will post charts later.

Until he gets a managerial resume like that of Pep's, Mourinho's or god forbid, Fergie, then I don't see him as a great manager yet.

Di Matteo won the CL with Chelsea, but he's still not considered great.  It remains to be proven.  The same with Zidane.
11731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2016, 11:31:48 PM
The Champion Leicester City have its first meeting with Hull City but I don't think it will be easy for it to beat them as away, Hull City can show good resistance into this match as it's promoted to this league, so what you think guys about this opening match?
I think, if the Leicester City game has not changed much from last season, the opener will be easier for them. However, with the departure of midfield Kante result, they get a gap to be exploited by Hull City, so this match will be better if they played openly.

But exploited by who?  Hull has been inactive in this transfer window, they don't have an attacking threat up front and Steve Bruce just left the club.  Hull will be playing for a draw and only try to get a point in this game.  They could be the worst side in the EPL right now.

LCFC on the other hand still has Vardy, Mahrez and the Japanese guy up front, an 'ok' midfield even without Kante and a good defense with Wes Morgan syncing everything at the back.

Hello Altcoin fans.  Just a little update.  I removed Digibyte, DigixDAO and Storj from the list.  DigixDAO and Storj have mostly low volume and with Digibyte, I feel that it is getting behind the rest of the pack.  It generally feels like it's still a 1.0 coin despite their efforts.

I might be adding ETC and STEEM soon.  That should be two good additions to the list.
11733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: August 12, 2016, 02:42:03 PM
Now that Pogba has completed his big move to Man Utd, I wonder if that is it for the really big, exciting transfers or will there be more?

There is still sufficient time until the end of the transfer window.

For this summer transfer window?  I don't think any club could outdo Man United this summer.  So that's pretty much it.  If only Arsenal was willing to splash the cash.  I heard that they have a really huge warchest and it's only Wenger who refuses to spend big.
11734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2016, 02:37:07 PM
Mcgregor probably wasn't scared the first time either. Don't have to be scared to get choked out. As a matter of fact he was scared of getting hit again and getting ko'd that's why he went for a takedown and got choked out.

I don't think scared is the right word to use here.  He wasn't by any means "scared" when he attempted the takedown.  He was desperate to get past the 2nd round.  He was trying to use the takedown defensively to get on top of Diaz to kill the time and get a breather somehow.  But due to tiredness both physically and psychologically, McGregor miscalculated or maybe he just totally ignored the the fact that Diaz is a BJJ black belt.

11736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 12, 2016, 11:09:35 AM
Not taking anything away from Zidane, I think he is a good coach and has the potential to be great.  But is he in the level of Pep or Mourinho?  I'm afraid he will be needing a good management resume to prove that he is.  That will take him years to do.
11737  Other / Meta / Re: Illiterate sig spammers on: August 12, 2016, 01:50:46 AM
It's not all about how much you earn, it's about getting some value in what you were going to do anyway.  I guess in a way, Bitcointalk spoiled me.  Before I really didn't think much about sig campaigns and getting some BTC for posting.  I was happy with the way things were.  But when I got in to a sig campaign and then I saw this thread with the mods saying that they are thinking of removing all sig campaigns, I'm like 'Wait a minute...  I want to continue getting something for my time here so it wouldn't be considered a total waste.'

Steemit was designed for this kind of thing, so I might as well try it if sig campaigns are totally banned.

Edit:  There's is a good case for allowing sig campaigns only for Legendary members or having the signature functionality only enabled for them.

1.  They basically know what we're talking about when it comes to crypto and didn't reach the rank by being stupid.
2.  They have been in the forum for a long time and were awarded the highest rank.  So that and the account signature enabled will be treated
more as a privilege than something given outright.
3.  Legendary status will be valued more not just in monetary terms, but also as a bragging right earned in the forum and it should be that way.
11738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2016, 12:26:20 AM
The line is moving.  The sharps are probably backing Diaz.  The line moved from +115 to around +105.  Not a big move by any means but it still indicates that a lot of money are coming in for him this early.  Which makes it possible that it could move even further since the fight is still 8 days away.

Hey, guys. We will start not with the first round, but we will try as quickly as possible.

How come you guys don't have games running all year round?  I think there's potential for Bitcoin Fantasy Sports if it's marketed well.  I suggest accepting LTC and ETH as well to capture a wider range of people in crypto.  And a signature campaign won't be a bad idea.
11740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 12, 2016, 12:08:44 AM
It's too early to compare Zidane with Pep.  Not taking anything away from Zidane here but the only reason we are having Zidane and Pep comparisons is because he won the CL.  Well Di Matteo won the CL with Chelsea and with way worse odds of winning and yet he still won it.  So is Di Matteo as good as Pep then?

Only time will tell if Zidane is a really good manager in the same level as Pep.  When Pep started managing Barca, he revolutionized the game with his new approach in terms of style of play and tactics.  It remains to be seen with Zidane.
